Mithra's POV

Divya, Shaurya, Gautam, Yash, Karthik, Zubeida, Reddy Sir, and I sit in the waiting room, praying that Vijay will be ok.

Luckily, we were on the Pakistan/Indian border, and were able to fly over to India easily. We admitted Vijay in the hospital a few hours ago, and they were doing an operation on him.

The doctor comes out of the operation theater, and we all stand up.

"Doctor-" I say, tears in my eyes.

"He lost a lot of blood. He is not very stable. We can't say anything yet.  We finished the operation. He should become conscious soon. We moved him to a room. You can go see him when he wakes up." the doctor says.

I fall onto my knees, weeping.

"Vijay!" I cry.

"Mithra. Mithra calm down." Shaurya says, placing his hand gently on my shoulder.

I can tell that he is also crying, but is trying to stay strong.

"You can see the patient." a nurse says, walking out of the room.

We all rush into the room, and Vijay opens his eyes. He looks at all of us around the room and smiles.

He looks at Divya, and beckons her towards him.

She walks towards him, sitting on the chair next to the hospital bead.

"Divya." he whispers.

"Anna." Divya cries.

"Shh." Vijay says, wiping her tears. "Don't cry." he says to her.

"Anna-" Divya says again, unable to speak properly.

Vijay beckons to Shaurya, who moves towards him and stands next to him, besides Divya.

"Divya. Marry Shaurya." Vijay says to her.

"Shaurya, you better take care of my sister. She is my little princess. Don't you dare hurt her. You are all she has when I leave." he says to him.

"Vijay, what is this man. Stop. Nothing will happen to you." Shaurya stops him, tears falling out of his eyes.

"Ey! Why are you crying man! Its fine." Vijay says.

Gautam, Yash, and Karthik walk to him next.

"Rey, you all should take care of Divya and Mithra." Vijay says.

"Don't worry ra. We will. They are our sisters." Gautam says, tears forming in his eyes.

"Rey Gautam. Why are you crying now?" Vijay asks.

"Thanks ra. Without you, we all would not be here. How will we manage without you?" Gautam says.

"You will be fine ra. You have Divya and Mithra to set you all straight. Good luck with those two!" he chuckles, but winces in pain.

"Vijay!" Gautam moves towards him, but Vijay holds up his hand, stopping him.

"I'm ok man." he says.

They all move back as Reddy sir moves towards Vijay.

"I'm proud of you Vijay. Really. Thank you for your services to RAW." Reddy sir says.

"Thank you sir." Vijay says. "Sir, one request." he says.

"What is it Vijay?" Reddy sir asks.

"Please take care of my team sir." he says.

Reddy sir smiles and nods.

Vijay looks at me and smiles slightly.

I walk over to him and sit on the chair. I take his hand into mine, crying.

"Mithra." he says.

"I love you Vijay. I can't live without you." I cry.

"Mithra. Don't cry. Please." he says.

"No Vijay. If something happens to you, I will do something and kill myself." I weep.

"No Mithra. You shouldn't talk like that. If everyone kills themselves because their loved ones die, then there would be no one alive in the world." he whispers.

"Vijay." I cry.

He gently places his hand on my cheek, and I place my hand over his.

"I love you Mithra." he says.

"I love you too Vijay." I reply.

He closes his eyes in pain.

"Please don't leave me Vijay. Please." I whisper, closing my eyes as tears pour down my cheek.

Suddenly, the machines start beeping, and I see that his heartbeat is fluctuating. I panic.

"Doctor!"
