They walked on a snowy trail, where they found a wooden structure that resembled a fence. They walked through it as it had too big of gaps to keep anyone out, and as they walked they saw something that looked like some sort of food stand, and when they reached crossroads, they found a box. There was a sign that looked tattered and old and read "this is a box. you can put an item inside or take an item out. the same box will appear later, so don't worry about coming back. sincerely, a box lover" ness nodded at this and put the pan in the box trusting the sign. he Then the world went dark, and he turned around to see that a dragon that resembled a snowflake was standing behind them, a sickly green as all the other monsters, but this one had a large hint of blue. this one was different. it had bigger, faster, stronger bullets. ness got hit many times, until he realized another thing that his psychic powers were capable of. He thought of his favorite song. He jammed, or rocked, to it. he sent a barrage of red, blue and yellow energy, he took one hand and slashed, the other and slashed, then tore his power through the middle. his opponent fell instantly. He felt that it did a lot of damage. Jeff gaped as he purified the SOUL. "ness you are" jeff paused "REALLY powerful" ness chuckled a little "thank you" he knew that he could develop it more but he wasn't strong enough to do that. he healed himself and jeff and continued on. They kept walking through the forest and came across another booth, and heard a sound. the closer they got to the sound, it became a clear growl, like that of a dog. ness put his finger to his mouth and looked at jeff. he nodded and kept quiet. the growling continued "something's moving" a rough voice sounded. "intruders perhaps?" a humanoid dog stuck its head out from the booth. "Maybe humans? I'll kill you either way in the name of giygas!" as it had before the world darkened and they started a battle. The dog had two knives, both held backwards in an attack position, the one on the left held lower, around its waist, and the one on the right raised high up. After ness and jeffs attack, their SOULs were enclosed in a long narrow white box and a long blue knife that took the whole box up came at them. ness stopped moving and accepted the shot, and to his surprise it passed right through him. Jeff panicked though and moved, getting hit by the shot. ness saw this and attempted the move he used earlier, with a song in his head he performed the same slash slash tear and destroyed it instantly, but felt himself drained. He knew he would need sleep or eat food to perform it again. "you ok" ness said frantically. He inspected Jeff. He would be fine for now, just a little battered. "I'm fine" he told ness. He nodded in response. "That's good" they continued on and ness found another box and grabbed the frying pan. They encountered a puzzle with a hidden switch in the snow. Then they walked on an unreasonably narrow pathway that was more like a bridge made of dirt. After they walked across it they reached a large platform of dirt and then heard a noise. It sounded like intense sniffing. then two dogs in large black cloaks and giant axes. ''What's that smell?" said a dog's voice. The dogs stood right next to ness and jeff. the other dog in a more feminine voice said "where's that smell?" They ran all around the platform they were on, sniffing like crazy, until they ended up where they were before. "if you're a smell..." said the male dog "...identify yoursmelf!" the world flashed to darkness and the dogs threw their hoods back. Jeff attacked, while ness ate something, hoping that it would recover his power, but it didn't work instead healing him. their SOULs flew from their souls and were enclosed in the familiar white box. two giant axes closed in on them, hopping towards their souls one on each side. they both swerved under them to the corners of the box, jeff on the left and ness in the right. Ness realized they were repeatedly kissing and decided it wasn't too important, as he saw a sign that said "warning: dog marriage" and thought this is the couple. He continued fighting and Jeff ate something. they growled and attacked with circles of hearts on both sides of the rectangle, interchanging between white and blue. ness remembered the blue attacks and reminded jeff. He stood still if a blue heart headed towards him and moved to a blue heart if the heart was white. he got hit a few times but that was fine. They continued to fight until the dogs fell, and he purified the soul. They continued on fighting more monsters until they came upon a barrier and a shimmering star. but gleamed and spun. ness touched it and looked past the barrier. knowing that this was were he would most likely find the soul and release the monsters from the ruins
