there standing was papyrus. if you forgot (i did) that all the rest of the monsters were there, they are. "papyrus..." he heard sans whisper. Then vines shot out of the ground and grabbed the monsters and held them captive, but not the humans. ness heard flowey's piercing laugh. ness looked around and flowey popped up in front of the group and chuckled. "So we're here, and you're about to get your 'friend' back" he chuckled harder this time. "You'll never get papyrus. He was so strong yet he couldnt use it and resist. or he chose not to" he chuckled harder until he went into a full out hysterical laugh "he'll pound you to dust" he then left and they were face to face with papyrus... who was looking the other way. ness expected something dramatic or like a big reveal. ness cleared his throat and papyrus looked behind him in surprise and as expected he was green. "HUMANS" he yelled in one of the most ridiculous voices he ever heard. "giygas warned me of humans" "PAPYRUS" yelled sans "YOUR BEING CONTROLLED BREAK FREE" "OH HUSH SANS" papyrus yelled back. "simpleton" he said "HUMANS! i wouldn't normally do this but i was under DIRECT ORDERS TO KILL YOU ON SIGHT" sans had the most pained given up look he had ever seen in his life. he then hung his head down. "I will now... FIGHT YOU" the world faded slower than normal and they attacked, paula using PSI freeze, ness and jeff using normal attacks. papyrus wasn't fazed all that much "right LET'S START" the box appeared and their souls went in. He pulled out a really big bone and pointed it at them. "time for my ATTACK" a bunch of bones flew at them from the side, and they were pretty fast. Papyrus had the bone behind his back. Ness was able to dodge most of them while all of the group was hit at least once. they all counter attacked, and ness asked jeff if he knew any weaknesses. He spent his turn looking at papyrus with thought in his eyes. Ness also noticed that Paula had a new move; it looked like a bright white yellow ball. Ness stabbed at papyrus but he blocked it with the bone behind his back. "hm'' jeff said. "Brainshock, PSI fire, and-" lightning struck and hit papyrus, and like in cartoons you could see his skeleton (ba dum cha). "-lighting" Jeff finished. They looked at paula. "That was you?" ness asked. Paula nodded. "Usually it doesn't hit" papyrus shook his head vigorously "ah, you three are stronger than you look. Well I have a solution to THAT!!" ness was prepping for something hard and scary, when his heart, normally floaty and could be lifted with ease, it turned blue and fell to the ground. Ness tried to lift it but it just bounced up and sunk back down "THAT IS MY ATTTAAACCCKK" papyrus yelled "you are now BLUE" after that his attacks seemed a lot harder. There were staircases of bones, a small bone and a blue bone the second after it, their hearts changed back and then papyrus called out "FFFRRRRRAAAAAANNNNNNKKKKKKK" and a giant skull resembling some sort of animal materialized. Its eyes flashed and it shot a giant laser. Lots of them showed up and circled them. When they were choosing what to do they had to doge bones as they did. Jeff shot and ness used rockin and paula fire. Papyrus blocked the bolt of fire but Rockin got him, but didn't do too much. The next attack was a bunch of platforms that flew over a floor covered in bones. A lot of the similar was present, they slowly wore down papyrus, eventually breaking his bone. He held the two shards in his hands like daggers. At some point a bone on a skateboard and sunglasses went across the box. And similar to sans during the ghost fight, he slammed their souls to the edges of the screen and sent bones at them at that moment. Papyrus looked irritated, "this is getting annoying" ness heard gears wiring and realized that the place they were standing on was a stage, and it shot straight up into the air. "NOW ALL OF THE UNDERGROUND WILL SEE THE VICTORY OF THE GREAT PAPYRUS, IN THE NAME OF GIYGAS" they stopped suddenly and giant spotlights flashed in their eyes "mettaton records from this stage" mettaton growled "GET OFF OF MY STAGE YOU-" "oh i'm just using it quiet DOWN" and papyrus pointed a bone shard at the group "this i were you meet" he rose his hands in the air dramatically "YOUR EEEENNNNDDDD" they attacked and he retaliated with more of the same, but one second he was doing one attack but the next everything turned black and there was a new attack, and papyrus had moved, and this happened again and again until he finished his turn. ness healed up some and paula prayed, but it just shown a light into everyone's eyes and everyone started crying. jeff missed when he attempted to shoot "SORRY" paula yelled, tears streaming from her eyes. Papyrus had wonkier attacks but honestly that made it harder, but he didn't teleport at all this time. Papyrus grew weaker as his health depleted, but he called for help and some monsters came and gave him a shield, and none of them could attack papyrus or their attacks would reflect back at them, so they attacked the other monsters, whos attacks where joined with papyrus's, and waited for the shield to wear off. His shield wore off and suddenly cameras appeared and papyrus materialized a microphone in his hand and tapped it to test it and began a speech "FOLLOWERS OF GIYGAS" he yelled out. "I HAVE CALLED OUT TO YOU FOR YOU TO WATCH MY GLORIOUS VICTORY" he dropped his bone shards and produced two long bones that covered his arms and he held them parallel to his arms. "I SHALL END THESE PITIFUL HUMANS AND TAKE THEIR SOULS TO GIYGAS" he launched his attack. This attack was crazy and everywhere, with the shape of the box changing and making the group fall and having to doge bones while free falling. He ended up repeatedly slamming the souls against the walls like sans until he was panting "I... am not *gasp*... DONE YE-" then collapsed on the floor.
