The bottle rocket flew at the star man and exploded and ness went in for the hit. The starmans attack was a barrage of snowflake looking things, which ness's shield reflected. Jeff and paula were hit some, and paula almost collapsed and ness used PSI life up as fast as he could. Paula was fine but the next turn was a bunch of waves of fire. This time ness's shield broke, and he was hit a few times, generally fine. But this next attack was harder, it was the fire attack again but it was tiny little bolts that when you touch them they explode into flames. Ness tried to use his power attack, but the starman used a magnet attack. ness was losing. He fought and fought, but if he let his guard down for one second he would get hit. He couldn't keep up, he ran out of psychic energy. And then a snowflake hit him directly. He felt a sting through his heart. He felt cold. He was hurt. Jeff and Paula fell. And suddenly it stopped. He looked and saw nothing. He heard a voice in his head you sure got your head handed to you didnt you ness? He fell to his knees. It wasn't supposed to go like this; he was supposed to win. You're not giving up are you...? He put his head in his hands. He felt hopeless. He now realized what happened. Ness... the voice said stay determined. Ness took his head out of his hands. Determined. He needed to stay determined. He got up and walked. He sped up. He gathered up all his courage and ran into a full sprint. He stopped and opened his eyes to find that he was at the star thing. He walked up to the place where the starman was summoned and the bolt came down. "Are you-" "yes im ness and i know why you're here so fight me" the starman sighed, looking like he was looking forward to the speech, which was correct. "Very well" and the world went dark. "Paula, do you have magnet?" Paula nodded and summoned her energy as Jeff prepared the same rocket. Ness summoned his power to his fingers. He used PSI rockin. And after some time they were winning, but starman used PSI fire B and the bolts rained. Ness did his best to avoid them. He looked at the explosions and was forming an idea for a new PSI rockin. He saw no harm in trying it. He did the same slash slash, but also sent energy with his hands both up and down, and to his surprise they formed as hexagonal shapes, two up and two down. The same explosion sounded afterward. The starman jr was harshley injured. Ness took out his ness and Jeff took his gun out, and paula put her hands together and started... praying? Ness ignored it and let her do her, but then suddenly a warming light shined down and ness felt himself healing. Paula got up and smiled at ness "you did that?" she shook her head "the heavens did that'' ness nodded and attacked, while jeff shot. Starman used freeze, and they dogged it well. Paula used PSI fire but it didn't do much. Jeff shot and ness gathered his courage and guts, and did his strongest hit ever. SMAAAAAAASH. Ness closed his eyes when he hit and he opened them to see the knife directly through the starman jrs METAL armor. He took the knife out and the minion of giygas fell to the ground. It had a solid body and it didn't fade to dust as monsters did (toriel told him that) Ness now had another problem. Where does he put the body?
