"Come on, jeff!" ness called out, as his new friend was struggling to catch up. Jeff recently moved to Onnet and now that ness had a friend to go with (that wasn't pokey) he had the courage to visit MT Ebott, were the monsters were rumored to be sealed under (no one knew of Giygas's) "i'm not accustomed to all this running!" Jeff yelled back in a crisp accent that resembled a British one. He pushed his glasses back up his sweaty face, his blond normally perfectly kept hair was now greasy and loose. He was from another continent in a country called Winters, and recently released from a boarding school. ness stopped and jeff jogged over to where he stopped. He was about to say something, but no words came out. He saw a large, gaping, couple mile long hole. "so the rumors may be true" ness half whispered. " How is it possible that a hole this large was formed on a mountain! There's no record of volcanic activity, and a sinkhole we'd be able to see the bottom, but how would this be formed there's no scientifically reasonable explana-'' Jeff stopped as he saw how quiet ness was. unmoving. "Ness?" "It's man-made. it has to be. you had a point. no sinkhole could have made this" Ness looked deal in thought. He edged forward. "ness no!'" Jeff exclaimed. The floor was covered with vines. He could trip. He went over to grab onto his shirt, or backpack or something, and they both simultaneously tripped on a vine. they both went down the hole screaming, and he stepped out, intent to follow them
