|William|

I sighed in relief when I found that I had an hour break before I would have to go check in and start rehearsing for my interview tomorrow morning. In the meantime I decided I didn't bring my guitar for nothing.

I called up an Uber, had the usual conversation, signed a few things for his daughters, and took a photo before getting out of the car and quickly ducking inside the tiny corner book store he told me had the best deal on sheet music.

By the looks of it, this place was an empty paradise full to the brink with all types of books. I spotted the person who seems to be working here grabbing a quick coffee in the back room, but other then the, there was no one in sight.

I walked down the isle before I heard the same bell in the door ringing again.

My heart sank.

"Hello again!"

"You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this!" A girl hollered back.

Please do not see me.

"I'll be in the break room if you need anything!"

I caught of glimpse of the girl's brown hair before I ducked into one of the sections. I watch her through the books from a crouching stance before realizing she was walking into the same section I was in.

Please do not see me. Please do not see me, I kept repeating in my head. I can't bare to have anyone see me like this. Especially someone who looks around my age.

Her eyes were glued on the shelf in front of her. I had a chance to leave, but my feet wouldn't move. I grabbed the nearest book and began flipping through the pages, keeping my head looking downwards.

The please do not see me quickly became please do not recognize me. There's no way I'm going to not be noticed.

I saw her shift in the corner of my eye, oblivious to what's in front of her. But it happened so fast, the next thing I knew she rammed right into my hard. My shoulder began to shoot sharp pains and throbbed.

"I'm so sorry." She stuttered. If her cheeks weren't already burning red, the stutter gave away her embarrassment.

There was no way out of this. I could only pray that by some miracle she wouldn't recognize me.

"Oh this book will probably be the greatest romance you'll ever read," she started blabbering while handing me the book back the book I had no idea what the title even was. But she paused when she looked up at me. I could already feel my face going pale as I looked in those brown eyes. I never knew brown eyes could be so beautiful.

Her facial expressions said a million words. She knew me. She was speechless or about you scream.

"Uh, I'm sorry." She quickly says after what seemed to be a lifetime of awkward silence. "I just didn't really expect a man would be interested in reading this book before."

Oh my god. She doesn't know me! Or she does and is trying to act like she didn't.

I let out a forced chuckle. "I guess you found out my darkest secret." I raised the book up with my hand. Forcing out a tiny bit of laughter.

"Oh my god." her smile dropped. Here it comes. "Did I bump your arm? I'm so sorry, I should of been paying attention."

She doesn't know me? "Oh no. You barley missed it." Why was I lying? And why wasn't I finding an excuse to get out of this situation. There was just something about her that made me want to find out more.

She smiled. A true sincere smile. It's been awhile since someone around my age who happened to be a girl treated me like a normal human being. It almost didn't seem real.

"I'm Cassie." She held out her hand for me to shake it.

Now I began to panic. I shook her hand and just like that I just lied to her face for the second time already. "Kevin."

"You kind of do look like a Kevin." She joked.

"I've been told." No you haven't. I realized I placed the book on the shelf and was pulling out my phone. "Do you mind?"

This took her by surprise. It took me by surprise as well. I had no control over my hands whatsoever, but the next thing I knew we were exchanging numbers.

"So are you going to get that book?" She asked.

I looked at the book again. No. "Well since you told me it's the best romance I'll ever read, I kind of have too."

She smiled at that. Maybe even let out a small laugh before walking away to check out.

I watched through the book shelves as she paid for her book and left the store. The little bell ringing until the door closed completely. Then I decided to wait a few minutes before I found myself also walking to the checkout with the checkout with the book in hand.

"Did you find everything okay?" The curly red head asked while scanning the book.

"Yeah." I mumbled, looking out the book store floor to ceiling windows. The girl was nowhere in sight.

"That will be ten dollars please." She smiled.

I grabbed a ten out of my pocket and paid. Grabbing the sack with the book inside.

"Did anyone tell you that you look just like William Everest?" She then said. Great.

I laughed awkwardly. "Never heard that one before."

"Have a good day!" She called while I walked outside.

I pulled out the book I just bought to look at the title. The Day You Left Me.

She sure wasn't kidding about it being a romance novel.

Angie barged into my hotel room, we got a separate one for each person here because of my request, and I quickly shoved The Day You Left Me under my pillow.

"What was that?" Angie asked with a curious raised eyebrow.

I crossed my arms over my chest, "what?"

"Do I even want to know?" She then proceeded to ask.

"Know what?" I smiled and she couldn't resist my charm and smiled too.

"Come on, we got to go over these questions." Angie held up the packet of papers I just barley noticed existed.

Sighing I roll off the hotel bed and pull out the chair from the desk. Planting myself into it and facing Angie with a smile.

"So tell me William, what was your reaction for having your show be renewed for a second season?"

"Well you see if it wasn't for the fans, it wouldn't of been such a huge hit. I was absolutely astonished when I found out we'll all be back filming another season of The Opposite." I recited back to her. Still with a smile plastered on my face.

"How does it feel to be the most love television show worldwide?"

I took a deep breath. "Again its unbelievable how many people enjoy watching me. Its like a dream come true. I love all my fans so much I'm super excited for season two to be aired February twenty-ninth."

"So what could you tell us about the upcoming season. Any spoilers?" Angie was staring into my soul with puppy eyes.

"Lets just say. You won't expect this to happen to the main characters." I smile.

"You got this interview in the bag. By the way, wear white tomorrow. You'll be participating in who knows the show better." Angie tells me. "Get a good night sleep."

"Thanks Angie." I say before I hearing the door shut.

I pulled off my shirt and threw it into a drawer. My phone buzzed on the bed.

Cassie 10:59 a.m.
You wouldn't happen to know any good and cute names for an animal would you?

I smiled to myself, before typing in my reply.
