The Yuan Dynasty has fallen, and the Ming Dynasty begins.

The concubines of the young Emperor Yu's harem are more than just pretty faces to decorate the halls. They are to be whatever he wishes of them; lovers, mothers, friends, advisers, toys.

But most importantly, they are his pawns.
