Someday, I shall be acknowledging you with a different and personalised name instead of 'reader'. That name will be one of endearment and an identification of you being my reader.

I'd like to start off by giving you a brief explanation about how and why this book came into existence.

In all honesty, this book was never planned. I have been working on my debut novel When Fireflies Bloom which is about the main character Danica Rose Arden and her struggle through a broken home drenched in patriarchy, familial bonds, and finding her true self. WFB is a book that parallels some of my own life experiences and the rest is fiction. While writing that book (still am), I realised I needed something - some happy, funny, wholesome thing/story - to balance the pain that WFB has been entailing. So I came up with Under The Falcon Stars, which, initially was supposed to be just a rom-com but ended up developing into something more. I came up with my pen name (w)WRINSH and learnt what I want to do with my life and how to influence youngsters in a good way. Under The Falcon Stars ended up becoming everything that I'd advise my younger self to watch and learn if I had the chance to. It will now discuss many topics, like the obsession of some parents to have perfect A grade kids and the effects of it, mental illness & health, the very famous 'pick-me' trend that's now been circulating everywhere and how it's being weaponised against women, discussions about 'y/n', about authors writing & representing lgbtq+ and how some just end up fetishising it (the downfalls, etc). And even though it's an attempt to give advice in many aspects to young minds, don't doubt about it having a plot. It DOES have a plot (albeit simple or at least not as complicated as all my other planned novels) and serves a crucial purpose in today's literature. This even has a second (and last) part planned, named as "Over The Falcon Stars" which I'll talk about (obviously) later. The language of this book shall be pretty simple; it will be an easy read.

I personally would advise you to read this book if you're at least fifteen due to some discussions involved about intercourse (not the act, just discussions) and masturbation (sorry if you didn't know the terms, please DON'T google if you're a child); suicidal tendencies; etc.

You are welcome to judge the book and drop in your opinions, praises, critiques in the comment section but please be respectful while stating anything. You can also point out any grammar, sentence structure mistakes. I will try my level best to keep updating consistently. In case I fail to do so, I will not come up with an extra A/N for the matter, I'll just proceed to update the next chapter whenever I can.
