RULES

♱   Diversity & Faceclaims     /     Always keep in mind that I want to see diverse characters !!! Not only when it comes to different ethnicities, races, sexualities, gender expressions, backgrounds, but most importantly PERSONALITIES !! Can't wait to see you guys cook ^^

When it comes to faceclaims, they should be over the age of 18 and be roughly age appropriate (at least look the age of the character). They should also have more than enough image resources on Pinterest/Tumblr for me to make graphics. You can find a list of some of my suggested faceclaims in the form section, I'd really love for people to use them !! Actors, singers, idols are preferred, but influencers are accepted as well.

♱   Forms & Application     /     Keep your forms detailed and tidy. This is important so it's easy for me to read and get a good idea of your character !! You can apply through comments or preferably with a Google Doc. You can get really creative with them and I just think they're super neat :) The password is your character's favourite type of candy/sweets

You can apply as many times as you wish, though keep the characters distinct from each other (they must have different gender identities !!) Keep in mind I'll most likely only accept one or two per person, just to give everyone a fair shot. If you are chosen, please remain active and finish your opinions !!! If you're planning on going on a hiatus or going inactive, just let me know <3

♱   Due Date & Questions     /     There is currently no due date ! I'm not sure how many people will apply and I'm currently getting bombarded with school work, so it might be open for a good while.

Name.     Include their first name ! Middle and last name are optional.

Personality.     Keep it detailed just so I can do them justice when writing !! Pleaseee give them bad traits, I wanna write about some toxic silly guys living in a haunted circus.

Backstory.     You can keep this relatively vague or go completely wild with it, since the premise is that the performers are very mysterious ohoho

Likes.     What does your character like? Include 5 or more.

Dislikes.     What does your character dislike? Include 5 or more.

Style and Aesthetic.     What do they wear on a daily basis? What words or things are representative of them? Please include a Pinterest board.

Theme Song.     What song represents your character the most?

Mixtape.     Include 3 songs or more.

Quotes.     What are some things your character would say? Be creative and include 2 or more.

Extra.     Just some extra info about the character that didn't get included in the rest of the form. You can include stuff about their appearance, such as: height, body mods, tattoos, their favourite colour, the languages they may speak, or just some fun facts.

CHARACTER IDEAS.

♱   THE RINGLEADER. Their face is the first one you see as you step inside the Circus, lit by bright and colorful lights. They don't need all of that, though. Their skin rough, their teeth sharp — it's all gleaming on its own, glitching. They see all, they know all. And their smile gets wider and wider with each secret they learn.     /     Preferably masc & aged 30-40

♱   THE BURLESQUE DANCER. Their red lips, with a lit cigarette always trapped between, ache with demands every time they open their mouth. Yet you're not able to keep your eyes off them when they're on stage, moving like water on land and between thin and hanging fabrics. They don't seem keen on talking about anything before the Circus, but they will make sure to get you talking about it soon enough.     /     Preferably fem & of any age

♱   THE ATTRACTION. They're the newest addition to the Circus, one that has never been seen before. Or you haven't seen anything like it, at least. They are quiet, almost unnervingly so. The tail and gills and twisted arms with sickly green-grey skin are to make a profitable attraction for sure. Just ... don't ever lift up its tank's lid.     /     Preferably using they/it pronouns, aged ???
