renjun flopped down onto his couch after locking his apartment's door.
"oh my god. what a day." he mumbled, recalling his crazy day.
it had started by jeno and him meeting in front of the school gates and being awkward as hell while waiting for jaemin. then, the two boys had been distant for the whole day, even while hanging out with jaemin. after that, they had found some time to discuss about their problems. and the day had ended with jaemin, jeno and him playing like three-year-old in the park.
and all that without jeno and him arguing.
well, they still had bickered, but that's surely because that's how their relationship works.
anyway. renjun felt better than ever.
first, he had now two friends he could count on.
and the fact he hadn't had an argument with jeno made him in a very good mood, which wasn't usual.
to tell you, it was the first time renjun wanted to be the next day already to see his two friends.
and that was a radical change in his boring and sad life.
renjun felt more than happy to have gone to the park and bothered jeno that day.
if he hadn't gone there, he would never have met jaemin, the boy that fell from the sky between jeno and him, and he wouldn't be on better terms with jeno.
not only jaemin had brought a ray of sun in his life, he had also made hiw whole life easier by stopping his rivalry with lee jeno.
that thing had taken such proportions that renjun thought it wasn't possible to stop it. but jaemin did it successfully.
"this boy is a blessing." he sighed, seeing the picture of a smiling jaemin in his mind. "cute, adorable, warm-hearted, intelligent, and just... perfect."

"good evening mom!" jeno exclaimed after opening the door of his house.
"good- oh!" jeno's mom was surprised by a peck on the cheek from a joyful jeno.
"good evening my babies!" jeno greeted his three cats, waking up nal in the process.
jeno's mother watched her son hugging his cats one after another with a bright smile.
"someone's in a good mood today." she giggled.
"is it that obvious?" jeno stopped in his actions, looking at him mom with bongsik into his arms.
"well... i've never had my kiss this quick. and you're not usually this much bottom-like." she laughed.
"mom!" jeno furrowed his brows. "don't say such things! i'm a top."
"yeah, yeah. doesn't look like it right now."
jeno huffed, letting bongsik run away.
"go wash your hands and lay the table. dinner is almost ready."
jeno did as he was told without complaining, and in less than five minutes, his mother and him were helping themselves some rice.
"so... what's gotten you in such a mood?" jeno's mother asked.
"well... just life." jeno smiled.
"you didn't have problems with that classmate of yours?"
"renjun?"
"i don't know his name. you didn't want to tell me last time. but you mentioned he was pissing you off." his mother replied.
"oh. yeah, that's him." jeno nodded.
"and you didn't fight today?"
"nope. it's something like the first time in five years." jeno smiled.
"and this is the reason of your mood?"
"not really." jeno admitted.
"not really?! what is it then?"
jeno chuckled, thinking about his day again, how renjun and him had started from hating each other's guts, to being awkward, to agreeing on things about jaemin.
how much he was thankful for jaemin to have appear in his life.
this cute boy had made everything so much better.
"do you remember the blue-haired boy?" jeno asked his mother.
"the one that fell from the tree?" his mom furrowed her brows.
"exactly!" jeno clapped. "well, his name is jaemin."
"yeah, you mentioned it before."
"he's some cutie pie. like really." jeno said, putting his chin on his palm.
"oh!" jeno's mother widened her eyes. "am i getting a son in law soon?" she joked.
"mom!" jeno whined. "we've been friends for a few days only. and i already told you i wasn't gay."
"you never know." she said. "but seeing your stupid smile, i guess he's the reason behind that good mood."
"yeah..." jeno told absentmindedly. "wait, no! i mean... yes, but like..."
his mother burst out laughing.
"keep trying to convince me you're not gay. i made you, lee jeno. i know you better than anyone else."
"this means nothing." jeno rolled his eyes.
"stop arguing and eat your food. i bet it's cold now." she told her son.
jeno hushed for a second, taking as much food as he could in his mouth to eat quickly.
"i'm happy to know you found a reason to smile." jeno's mom said. "it's been long since i saw you this happy."
"go thank jaemin then." jeno replied with his mouth full. "he made renjun and i stop arguing."
"how is him?"
jeno swallowed everything he had in his mouth before answering.
"he's perfect." he said dreamily, making his mother chuckle. "he is almost as tall as me, but he looks much more like a child. he has this beautiful angelic face... and he's so shy... every single time i say something, he blushes... oh, and- "
"yah! you're soft for a boy. that's pretty gay." his mother cut him.
"i'm not soft! i'm just describing how he looks."
his mother nodded to making him stop. "yeah, yeah. well, judging by how your relationship started, i guess i'll see him around soon."
jeno chocked on his rice.
"mom!" he yelled. "i told you i wasn't interested in that boy."
"i didn't mean as a boyfriend. perhaps just as a friend..." she smiled.
"yeah." jeno replied.
after a cough, jeno's mother rose to her feet to take the empty plate back to the kitchen.
"anyway." she said, in a not-so-cheerful tone. "i'm happy to see that you started getting attached again after he left. i'm proud of you, sweetheart." she smiled, a tear rolling on her cheek.
and just with those words, the atmosphere of the room became way colder than it was before, and that, even a picture of jaemin's smile couldn't heal it...
