A Deal with a Demon

Candy was in her room getting dressed for the party Pacifica was hosting later that night, Candy couldn't believe how fast she managed to set it up. Maybe Pacifica was a bit of a snob sometimes but Candy could tell she was a good person and could quite possibly be a good friend if the stars permitted. Candy looked over at her hand made dress hanging in her closet and sighed. It was a reminiscent of a sky blue and gold dress she had previously made but this one was a blood red and black design. Candy still remembered the conversation between her and her mother when she told Candy about the dress.

*flashback*

Mabel had just dropped off Candy at her house. Since it was a little ways away from town it was quite a long ride out there. Grenda had already been dropped off so Mabel and Candy rode in silence the most of the drive. Then Mabel spoke up, "How are you holding up Candypop?" Mabel asked, calling Candy by her nickname that Mabel had given her. Candy always found it hilarious when Mabel called her that and let out a small chuckle. "Still feel pretty crappy, but it's not like I can do anything about it. The one guy I actually liked was just snatched up right in front of me and I did nothing about it!" Candy said in an exasperated tone.

Soon enough they had arrived at Candy's house. When Candy went to get out of the cart Mabel stopped her. "I'm so sorry Candy," Mabel said, pulling Candy into a hug which the other girl greatly accepted. "I swear, I'll do everything in my power to make it so you end up with the right guy!" Mabel exclaimed seriously, making Candy smile. "Thanks Mabel, see you around." Candy said and climbed out of the cart. Mabel then drove out of her driveway and soon out of sight. Candy sighed and walked in her house, making sure to grab the regular mail that was dropped off. "Bill...bill...bill...final notice...eviction warning, the usual again." Candy said, laying the depressing stack of mail on the table.

She walked to her room, a small 13 by 14 box covered with mural drawings that Candy had done herself. It was just big enough to house a twin size bed, a dresser, and a table with a sewing machine so she could work from home. It was a cramped living situation but it felt like home, and it might be taken from her. For years Candy's mom was the go to for dresses but thanks to money hungry "top" fashion designers it's become difficult to compete with them for customers. Candy's mom soon went deeper and deeper into debt and might eventually have to sell her business and then the house!

Candy sighed, she truthfully couldn't do anything about it because she couldn't properly work anywhere yet. She then decided to just go to bed and sleep the day away. She went into the bathroom and stripped till she was completely naked, her pale skin accentuating her slender yet muscly thighs, skinny waist, and perky A-cup breasts. She stepped into the shower and turned on the water. She had to perfect the timing of when the water would go cold after many failed attempts. She stepped out of the shower, dried herself off, then walked back to her room to change into her sleeping t-shirt, two sizes too big, just like Candy liked it, and some underwear as she was too depressed for pants. Candy climbs into her bed, trying to let sleep just take her over and let the day fade away.

She then heard a car pull up, assuming her mother had finally gotten off work. She heard the door open then close, light footsteps coming towards her room, and then came a knock on the door followed by Candy's mother asking to come in. After Candy gave it her mother came in, an excited smile on her face.

"You'll never guess who came to the shop today," Candy's mother said with a tone of relish in her voice. "I don't know, Calvin Klein perhaps?" Candy said jokingly. "Thank heavens not him...fashion guru my ass," she trailed off for a second before looking back up. "No, not him, it was Pacifica Northwest." The single mother said proudly. Candy then went wide-eyed with shock, bolting up to look at her mom like she was possessed. "Are you serious, Pacifica Northwest actually took the time to come to your boutique?!?" Candy was freaking out, but then her mother delivered the best news of all. "And you wouldn't believe the beautiful dress she bought..." her mother hinted.

Candy now looked even more shocked at her mother, the pieces fitting together in her mind. "My dress...Pacifica Northwest bought MY dress?!?" A huge smile now played on Candy's lips. She got up from her bed and ran to hug her mother. "I CAN'T BELIEVE IT, PACIFICA NORTHWEST BOUGHT MY DRESS!!!" Candy was ecstatic, yelling into the air.

*End of flashback*

Since hearing about Pacifica buying the dress she made, and then the party she was hosting, Candy started to believe that she had changed for the better, and just might be willing to hang out with Candy, Mabel, and Grenda. Candy also knew that if Pacifica Northwest was seen in her mother's boutique then that could just be the thing to save Candy's home and what family she had left.

"Now if only I could get a boyfriend, that would just make my day." Candy said aloud but nobody could have heard her.

Nobody ever did...

Then Candy heard a weird laugh coming from nowhere, then it seemed like her room was becoming darker..colder, and time was slowing down as evidence by the clock on her dresser stopping. Then a brilliance filling the room, so bright that Candy had to cover her eyes. Through the spaces of her fingers, however, Candy could just make out what she could only describe as..a floating triangle.

When the brilliance finally died down Candy looked up to see the floating triangle, now wearing a black top hat and black bow tie, was a golden yellow color, and had a single eye in the middle of it. But it was all topped off when it spoke to her...without a mouth. "What a coincidence, I was just in the neighborhood looking to make someone's dream of love come true!" The floating triangle said before noticing Candy's mixed look of fear and confusion. "Oh yeah, the introductions, well little miss Candicine, my name is Bill." The now identified Bill claimed. Candy, however, was still freaking out because:

1. There was a floating triangle talking to her in her room.

2. The triangle, Bill, knew her real name.

3. She was only wearing her bra and some underwear.

Bill kept on looking, as if waiting for Candy to reply. "Uhhh..hello..Bill." Candy was afraid that if she did something to offend him, he might incinerate her. "So, I'm guessing you're wondering why I'm here, correct?" Bill asked, and Candy nodded her head slowly. "Well it just so happens that I can get Pine Tree to fall for you...hard." Bill tells the young girl, making Candy raise an eyebrow in question. "Pine Tree...you mean Dipper?" Candy asked, remembering that Dipper did have little design of a pine tree on his hat. "Whatever you want to call him, I can help you grab his attention." He said, grabbing Candy's interest once more. "How can you do that?" Candy asked, and Bill seemed to smirk.

He held up a hand and then blue flames started to arc from his palms. When the flames died down there stood a vial with a glowing liquid inside. "This potion is 1000x more powerful than any love god possesses. Just one drop in his drink and he'll be yours for as long as he lives." Bill said, handing the vial to Candy. She looked at the glowing liquid, which had about the same consistency as water. She looked back up at the floating triangle.

"So, do we have a deal?" He asked...

*At the party*

Candy has just arrived with Grenda and the visiting Marion. The three walked in and were immediately hit with the delicious smell of cooked lobster, crab, and other seafood delicacies. There was also the subtle hint of barbequed meats. Once the smell hit Grenda's nose she dragged Marion over to the buffet table. Candy looked around and saw Mabel over at a table with some guy. She walked over to say hi, but when she got to her Candy saw Pacifica was there too and she was blushing. "Hi Mabel...Pacifica?" Candy said, looking at Pacifica.

"Well, I guess we shop at the same boutique huh?" Pacifica asked embarrassed. "Actually I made this dress myself." Candy explained calmly, looking at Pacifica's reaction. It took her a few seconds but she then had a look of realization. "Oh. My. God. You're Nikki's daughter?!?" Pacifica asked in awe. "The very same, and I take it you're the one who bought my dress?" Candy answered. Pacifica looked down sheepishly, "Yeah, well it was just too beautiful not to buy and..." Pacifica was saying before Candy raised her hand to stop her. "You don't have to explain yourself, that's what I made the dress for, to sell. Honestly when I was told that you were the one who bought my dress I couldn't stop hyperventilating with excitement." Candy said, making Pacifica blush a darker shade.

"If you'll excuse me." Candy said, then walked off to find Dipper. When she found him he was just arriving. Candy couldn't tell if he was just naturally good looking or he was trying just to impress her even more. Candy touched the vial of glowing liquid in her purse and walked over to him. "Hey Dipper, how's it going?" Candy asked, man she was awkward. "Oh...hi...uh...Candy, it's going pretty well, haven't died yet." Dipper said, making Candy giggle. For the next few minutes both of them just stood there awkwardly, not sure of what to say to the other. Then Dipper spoke up, "Candy, I need to speak with you...privately." He said, and Candy started to get butterflies in her stomach.

"Uh, sure, let me just go get us some punch." Candy said before heading towards the banquet table. When she got far enough away her mind began to wander, "Why is he wanting to speak to me?!? Is it possible that he has secret feelings for me, do I even need this portion?" She kept asking herself, unsure of what to do. She got the cups of the fruity drink she decided to just be safe. She poured the small vial into one of the drinks, picked them up, then walked back to where she and Dipper were talking.

When she got back she handed the induced drink to him, which he accepted. "So, is this private enough?" Candy asked, making Dipper chuckle. "About as private as you can get in a crowded place, nobody should be able to pick us out of the crowd." Dipper said, making Candy nod her head in agreement. "To hiding in plain sight." Candy said, raising her glass up. "To hiding in plain sight." Dipper agreed, toasting Candy's glass with his own. Then they drank up, all of it.

Before long Candy heard the entertainment, it was a rapper named Eminem. Candy didn't like rap music much so she turned her attention back to Dipper, who looked to be having trouble focusing. "Dipper, are you alright?" Candy asked when she thought he was going to be sick. "I'm fine...just...give me a moment." Dipper said, clutching his stomach in anguish. Candy was tempted to take him to the bathroom to let him sort it out but he quickly came back to his senses.

Candy was relieved, though when she looked at Dipper again he had a strange look in his eyes. "Are you okay Dipper?" Candy asked, to which he replied by suddenly crashing his lips into hers. She was caught off guard but soon have into it, wrapping her arms around him. "I am now." He said when they released for air. Candy couldn't help but smile as they went back to the passionate kiss. She heard the rapper say he was going to take a break, then Candy heard what seemed to be a screeching fangirl, next Candy could have sworn she heard someone run away crying...

Then she was dragged from the kiss and turned around to face someone she wasn't expecting to see. "Mabel, what..." Candy was saying before Mabel punched her square in the face.
