It's been an awful while with no updates from my part. A lot has happened since I started to publish this book and the writing process was punctuated by a lot of highs and lows. 

At some point, I completely lost interest in my own story for I could only see the flaws... the lack of style, the mistakes I made as a non-native speaker... 

I've been writing for a long time... in fact, I think I never stopped writing from the day I was able to trace letters on a piece of paper. But I wasn't used to write for 'an audience'... and I clearly underestimated the impact of social media. 

I lost confidence in my writing for quite some time. The pressure I felt while exchanging with the Wattpad community, with all the contests and their crazy set of publishing rules literally maimed my creativity and made me felt like an intruder. 
They were talented people... people who deserved to publish their work on the internet... and I wasn't one of them. Point blank. 

But then as I said, a lot happened in the past two years... and I lived the most enriching experience I ever had so far when I started to co-write with  @arsh002 and @not_me_either every day on our Discord server. 

Those two amazing friends - friend is such a poor word to describe what they mean to me, really - taught me a lot more than I could ever say. My writing skills - I dare think - improved, my English level improved... but most importantly, I understood the thrill of writing with and for others, and I recently found back that little spark of confidence I had totally lost. 

As much as I love co-writing with them, I miss writing this book... I just thought for a long time that I would never be able to do it. 

So, if any of my former readers are still interested in this modest book, here's the news: I have decided to edit the story, bringing some changes to the plot and rewriting all chapters - for the better I hope.
The updates won't be any quick, I am apologizing in advance for this - with a full-time job I just can't update every week... and I've made it a golden rule to follow my own rhythm, writing when inspiration strikes instead of writing according to Wattpad standards, just to keep up with stupid, meaningless rates and stats. 

Thank you to all the loyal, caring friends who are dear to my heart - you know who you are - and to those who will be patient enough to bear with my slow publishing rate, hoping it will be worth the wait.
