Hello guys, I decided to update today I know I posted a chapter yesterday but I got bored and it's the weekend and I have nothing to do. Well I do have something to do, I've been drawing a lot and so for all of them have been 1st attempts it is incredible, I will present them soon in Take A Closer Look. Right now, I was doing a little bit of story planning and I love the way the planning went and I became very excited and decided to write a chapter early. 

So in today's chapter, I decided to skip to when Barry wakes up (8 months later since we skipped to a month in the last chapter) and I will be adding the scenes from the tv show, you know meeting Cisco, Catlin, and Wells then Barry meeting up with Iris but of course I will be adding my own scenes because well...its fanfiction lol. Oh, and we are going to see Mardon so get prepared for that my friend.

8 Months Later...

3rd Person Pov ( In S.T.A.R. Labs)

Cisco Ramon was playing the song Poker Face while looking at Barry who was still in a coma.

"What are you doing?" Dr. Catlin Snow asked walking in

"He likes this song" Cisco replied

"How could you possibly know that?" She asked him

"I checked his facebook page. I mean he can hear everything right?" Cisco asked.

"Auditory functions are the last sensory faculties to degenerate," Catlin said. Cisco was singing part of the chorus of the song. Then all of a sudden Barry popped up gasping for air

"Oh my god!" Cisco screamed

"Where am I?" Barry asked

Barry's Pov

I woke up gasping for air like I just came back to life. I looked around and saw that I was in an unfamiliar place. I began to panic

"Where am I?" I asked looking around. I saw 2 people in the room, one male and one female

"He's up!" The female shouted I'm assuming she's some sort of doctor. I got from the bed I was laying in. I was still panicking. 

"Dr. Wells, get down here to the cortex like right now!" The male shouted through a speaking. I saw the female doctor grab me and begin checking me

"110, pulse 120. Pupils equally reactive to light" she said to me. I didn't care what she was doing but I turned away and looked around some more. "Look at me!" she shouted at me. I didn't know what to do or what to say. 

"Hey hey hey whoa relax everything's kay, you're at S.T.A.R. Labs" The male doctor or whatever he was said to me. I looked at him with a confused look on my face

"S.T.A.R. Labs...who are you?" I asked. The male smiled

"I'm Cisco Ramon and this is Catlin- Dr. Snow" Cisco said introducing himself. Catlin or Dr. Snow ran past Cisco and towards me holding a cup

"I need you to urinate in th-" Cisco cut her off "Not this second," he said.

"What is happening? what is going on?" I asked still confused and panicking 

"You were struck by lightning." Cisco said. And then I remember back at my lab, I remember seeing a flash of light hitting, I remember feeling every single spark of electricity hitting my body. I remember hitting those shelves full of chemicals then it all went black. I turned around and saw that I was shirtless. I looked in the reflective surface.

"Lightning...gave...me abs?" I asked. I remember hearing Dr. Snow explain to me about muscles or whatever I have no idea I was still confused. it wasn't until Cisco told me to sit. 

"You were in a coma." he said to me. 

I took a deep breath " for how long?" I asked

"9 months" A man voice came in the darkness, it wasn't until he stepped out in the light or more like wheeled into the light when I recognized the man....Dr. Harrison Wells "Welcome back Mr. Allen we have a lot to discuss"

Steve's Pov

8 months have passed and so far no signs of Barry waking up. Just a little over a few months ago they moved Barry to S.T.A.R. Labs. Iris explained to me that Wells showed up at the hospital after the power went out when Barry's heart stopped. His condition was getting worse, he was also having seizures, she said that Wells was taking Barry to S.T.A.R. Labs I wasn't too sure about this because of Fury's warning but seeing Iris's plea in her eyes I couldn't help but let them take Barry to S.T.A.R. Labs. I visited Barry from time to time but it was only a few minutes, I remember feeling some sort of jolt of electricity when I touched his hand. Some people say when you feel some sort of spark, it means you were destined to be together. But of course, I didn't believe that.

I was currently at home looking at my computer looking up any crime updates when my computer chimed. I got an email from....Fury

What does he want now?

I opened up the email

From Fury:

Nice job out there Rogers or should I say Mr. Star Spangled hero. I knew you wouldn't give up the shield. The Avengers knows about your little hero moments in Central City and I don't want to say they're pissed but they are little upset they miss you Steve.

I rolled my eyes Avengers missing me? I doubt that. I replied back to Fury with a strong question

I wanted to keep tabs of what's going on. How are you?

Is he for real right now? Well, it's been a few months since we last spoke or saw each other, I guess I should catch up with an old friend. 

back to Barry's Pov (I apologize I will be bouncing between Pov's) 

After Dr. Wells explained to me what happened that night during the Particle Accelerator and saw what it did to him, I felt so sorry for him. I was on my way to Jitters after Wells released me he also let me keep a S.T.A.R. Labs sweatshirt. It's been 9 months poor Iris must be worried as hell. I ran in through the door and saw Iris look at me with pure shock. She ran towards me and hugged me tightly

"oh my god! you're awake! why didn't S.T.A.R. Labs call us?" she asked 

"I just woke up." I said with a smile. It feels great reuniting with a friend 

"Should you even be on your feet?" she asked me

"Iris, I'm okay." I said.

"We watched you die, Barry. You kept dying your heart kept stopping" She said to me

"it's still beating." I said to her with a convincing smile.

Behind Iris, I saw a server hit someone dropping her tray but the tray was falling in slow motion. I looked at it weird and in shock. The tray then crashed on the floor and everything went back to normal. Iris looked at the server "You okay Tracy?" she asked the server

"I'm fine" Tracy replied. Iris looked back at me

"Dad is gonna be so happy to see you. Let me get my stuff okay? I'll be right back" She said and ran behind the counter. I smiled then went back to thinking what in the hell happened. 

Steve's Pov

Fury and I kept emailing each other when I realized emailing was so boring I decided to face time him I am guessing it's called Skype? 

"Hows Nat?" I asked Fury

"She's fine, she's still trying to find Banner so far nothing." Fury said. "Barton retired completely, he's with his family"

"That's good, Clint deserves it." I said with a smile

"Well, he's still on house arrest so..there's that." Fury said laughing. I couldn't help but laugh as well.  We were interrupted by my phone ringing. I saw who was calling, Iris.

"Uh hold on Fury" I said he nodded at me. I answered "Iris this is not a good time right now-"

"Met me at CCPD right now he's awake" She cut me off.

"Who?" I asked

"Barry! he's awake" she shouted. I went into shock.

"Mr. Rogers?" Fury asked me

"I'm on my way Iris." I said to her and hung up. I looked at the computer.

"Barry's awake" Was all I said, I saw a shocking look in his eye. 

"Go to him now" He commanded then turned off his webcam. I did the same then grabbed my brown leather jacket and keys. I looked at my shield when I ran past. I decided to not bring it with me, I don't think I should tell him my secret...not yet.

I drove to CCPD.

Barry's Pov

I was greeted by a huge bear hug by Joe. He looked so happy to see me awake and walking about. We were interrupted by a female officer

"Detective West, we've got a 550 in progress at Gold City Bank. two dead. Storm's really picking up on the south side. I'd grab rain gear" She said. Storm? but it was sunny the last time I checked

"Sorry Barry gotta run." Joe said

"Do you need my help?" I asked him. He quickly shook his head

"No, you take it easy. There'll be plenty for you to do once you settle in" he said to me. I saw a blond headed detective walk-in Detective Pretty Boy.

"Hey, Allen glad to see you." He said to me. I blushed slightly

"Thanks, Eddie." I said to him with a smile

"Hey, Iris" Eddie greeted her with a smile. Wait what?

"Detective, you should go. My dad doesn't like to be kept waiting" Iris said kinda harshly. huh? Eddie flashed her a quick smile then patted my arm. I blushed at the contact. Goddamnit Barry get it together. I watched as Eddie when I saw another blond run in wearing a familiar brown leather jacket. He saw me and froze, no it can't be could it be...

"Steve?" I asked in shocked

"Barry." he said and ran towards me. He wrapped his strong arms around me. I could've sworn I saw Iris smirk but I was too lost in Steve's embrace.

"You're awake, you're alive." Steve said to me "but...we watched you died me and Iris" he said. Wait he was at the hospital with Steve? I thought it was Iris and Joe. This doesn't make any sense.  "You're heart kept stopping we thought we lost you." He said. I had no idea what I did but I grabbed Steve's strong hand and placed it on my chest where my heart was located.

"it's still beating." I said to him with a smile. He smiled back. For a moment there, we got lost in each other's eyes. We were interrupted by Iris clearing her throat. We looked at her then each other and broke apart. I looked at Iris, she had a smile on her face. What are you playing at Iris.

I noticed a photo on a "Never Forgotten" shelf. I recognized the picture it was Chyre. I looked down in sadness. he was my dad's partner. Steve and Iris stood next to me

"The night of the explosion, Clyde Mardon shot and killed Chyre. Mardon and his brother died trying to escape, their plane crashed" Iris explained. A male officer went up to Iris "Iris! got a minute?" He asked. She walked towards him

"Hey Barry good to see you" Another officer said to me. I smiled

"Wow you sure had a lot of people miss you" Steve said to me patting my back. I smiled and saw a prisoner the cops were registering grab a gun. They all of a sudden i raced over there and knocked him down and ran back towards where Steve was...it all happened so fast. I saw what I did and I was in shock. 

"Barry, you okay?" Steve asked me. I nodded quickly

"I'm fine...I-I just need some air. um, I'll see you Steve" I said to him and walked out in the back. I heard Iris call for me but I didn't listen. I walked outside and looked at my hand. I saw it vibrating at an extremely fast speed

"What's happening to me?" I asked myself. I somehow ran forward very fast then stopped before hitting the wall. I looked around and I did it again and crashed into a cop car...oops. I stepped back and looked at the length of the alley and see if there were anyone around me. I started to run. I was running very fast.

"WHOO!" I screamed out, I didn't know how to feel I felt excited and shocked at the same time. I felt the electricity all around me it was....electrifying. I was so lost in my running when I realized I was about to crash into something. I tried to avoid it but I failed. I ended up crashing in a garbage truck. The garbage man looked at me confused. I sat up and smiled

"Awesome!" I said 

Steve's Pov

I saw Barry look around in shocked like he did something but can't figure out what it was. I asked if he was okay and he said he was they said he needed air. I let him go but I couldn't help but look at him weirdly. He's acting very...strange today. I know that he just woke up and everything around is strange but there's something off. I heard Iris call out for Barry but I told her that he needed some air.

"hey I don't know if you heard but there was a 550 in progress. suit up?" she asked me. I smiled and walked off to my motorcycle. Finally after a weird day, some action today. 

Barry's Pov (at S.T.A.R. Labs)

After having that incredible experience I had, I decided to go back to S.T.A.R. Labs and tell Cisco, Wells and Dr. Snow what happened. They decided to do a little test.  The S.T.A.R. Labs team set up an area for me to test out my speed. I was very excited. 

"You don't really believe he can run that fast, do you?" I heard Dr. Snow, Catlin, asked 

"Well I believe anything is possible and in a few minutes, maybe you will too" Dr. Wells said

'How's it fit?" Cisco asked me. I stepped out of the trailer in a skin-tight outfit, running shoes, goggles, and helmet. I looked embarrassing

'it's a little snug" I said embarrassed. 

"At least you'll be moving so fast no one will see you. See, you thought your world was slowing down, but it wasn't. You were moving so fast it only looked like everyone else was standing still. Dr. Wells will be monitoring your energy output and Catlin, your vitals" Cisco said, 

"what do you do?" I asked

Cisco grinned "I make the toys, man." He said and held up something with a lightning bolt on it. "check it. this is a two-way headset with a camera I modifed, typcally designed to combat battlefield impulse noise. or in your case potential sonic booms, which would be awesome" Cisco said excitedly. I smiled.  Cisco removed my helmet and left the rest up to Catlin. I saw her with a tablet in her hand as she fiddled with my suit. I noticed something about her...she looked...sad. I couldn't help but stare at her

"What?" She asked me

"Nothing. I just noticed you don't smile too much" I said

"My once-promising career in bio-engineering is over, my boos is in a wheelchair for life, the explosion that put you in a coma killed my fiance. Sothis blank expression kind of feels like the way to go" She said to me then left. Okay then...

"Mr. Allen, while I am extremely eager to determine your full range of abilities, I do caution restraint," Dr. Wells said to me. I nodded then kneeled down to get ready to run. I turned back and saw Cisco with a huge grin on his face stand behind me. I looked at everyone else and saw that everyone was ready. I smiled and looked straight ahead. I felt a lightning flash in my eyes and I ran off. The force pushed everyone back, Cisco fell over but I could've sworn I saw that adorable grin.

I was running so fast it felt amazing. I was so lost in running that I didn't hear what Cisco and Catlin were talking about. 

Then all of a sudden I had flashbacks to when my mother was murdered. I lost focused and crashed. When I crashed I had bent my wrist in a weird angle.

Ouch!

Okay guys I am ending this here, I got an alert on my saying saying that in my area where I live is under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning and i can hear the thunder and the hail hitting and I am so afraid the power is going to go out and I will lose my work since I am writing this on my phone and my phone sucks. So I will pick up where we left off next time.
