Hello everyone welcome to a new chapter today I hope you all are doing well. Okay before I start this chapter off, someone in the last chapter asked if Steve found out about Barry's secret identity and the answer is no he did not find out about Barry's secret he won't know till later on in the future chapters I mean come on I'm going accordingly to the series Iris didn't figure out Barry's secret till oo around episode 20 and we are currently on 1x18 man this is a lot way too much so what I am thinking about doing is combining the full episode into one chapter- yep doing that...I better keep the notes short.

Barry's Pov

It was a late-night Monday and all I was doing was chasing some burglars down alongside Joe and Eddie and Captain America. Captain was trying to catch up to the burglars while I trailed behind him. You might think, Barry you're the fastest man alive get those bad guys and to stop letting Captain do all of the work well tonight I wasn't feeling it, I am a lot slower than normal because my mind wasn't focus, I have been thinking about Wells and Reverse-Flash and all of the lies I have been told been blinded by all of these months almost a year. 

"Flash?" I heard Captain through coms but I wasn't paying attention "Flash! do you copy? Flash these burglars are getting away. FLASH!" Captian yelled which made me snap out of my thoughts and saw that the burglars are ahead  of us now

"Oh no you don't," I said then flashed towards then flashed one of them out of the cars and into Joe's cruiser in handcuffs and flashed Joe into the burglars' car and smirked. I love doing that trick. I stopped in my tracks and saw the car get surrounded by the police 

"You couldn't do that earlier?" Captain asked pulling up next to me. I looked at him "I mean I practically burned through my gas because you were trailing behind" He said

"Sorry...I can pay for the gas if you want" I said to him 

"No don't worry about it. Are you okay Flash?" He asked me I nodded "Must be hard finding out your ally lied to you" He said

"It is I don't know how to feel or what to feel but I feel..." I started

"Empty?" Captain asked

"Yeah...like that" I replied

"I get that I mean my closest ally died back during the war and I found out he was used as a lab rat controlling him to take down S.H.E.I.L.D part of me knew he was still alive out there and part me wanted me to believe he was still dead. After finding out what they were doing to him...something told me inside that I wished that he died that day" Captain said. Wow he has never opened up to me like that before...so full of emotions

"You're talking about the Winter Solider arent you?" I asked remembering the day I met him. Captain nodded in response 

"Um I better get going take care Flash," Captain said then drove off

"Take care," I said and watched him disappear in the distance. I looked back at Joe who was talking to one of the officers. I flashed off letting Joe take care of his work. 

-Next day-

What a nice day to wake up to. A nice breakfast Joe made for me, Steve texting me wishing me well and a dead body oh dearly wonderful Tuesday morning it is. I followed Joe to the crime where a woman laid dead on the ground.

"Victim's name is Lindsay Kang, an engineering professor at Hudson University. Just got tenure," Eddie said to Joe. I looked at the body closely and saw a massive amount of puncture wounds 

"So, her whole body's covered in these puncture wounds you see on her face," I said pointing at the marks

"Bite marks maybe," Joe said

"Whatever it was, she must have gone into anaphylaxis The blood sample should tell us everything we need to know. I'll run tests back at my lab," I said 

"They can do it faster at S.T.A.R. Labs," Joe said. I sighed I knew he was going to mention that place. The place that I didn't even want to go to today, to be honest. 

"Well, yeah, but, I mean, it's just..." I stammered sighing. "It's kind of weird being there right now," I added

"Barry, you know we have to play it cool with Wells. If he finds out we suspect him..." Joe started

"I know I get it. I just think that we should tell Cisco and Caitlin. They could help us," I suggested they are brilliant people and they should know what their boss did and what they have been hiding. 

"The more people who know, the more chance Wells is gonna find out we're on to him. I mean, what if one of them slips up? Or panics? Or what if...what if they're not on our side?" Joe asked. I quickly shook my head

"No Absolutely not. They're not involved in whatever he's planning" I quickly said not wanting to think about my own team, the people I trusted since the beginning to be working with Wells betraying me when I know they mean well.

"I mean, Wells is their boss, their mentor. They've been with him for a long time. I've seen plenty of people make the wrong choice for loyalty," Joe said

"Please do not include them until we can be sure," I said and Joe nodded. 

I quickly gather up the blood sample and raced over to S.T.A.R. Labs. I gulped seeing Wells sitting next to Caitlin and Cisco. Not going to lie I was nervous, nervous because I don't know what Wells' motives are I don't know what he is planning, or maybe Joe is right what if Cisco and Caitlin are working for Wells. I shook all of those thoughts away and went towards them. Right now I have a crime to solve not the time to think about the man that murdered my mother 

"Death by apitoxin. Honeybee venom," Caitlin said after seeing the results of the blood sample

"Bees. Why did it have to be bees? Y'all, I don't do bees. Ain't nobody got time for bees," Cisco said getting all squeamish around the word 'bee' 

"But when a honeybee stings, the stingers are literally torn from their abdomen, and they die," Caitlin said.

"But there were no stingers in the body and no dead bees in the car," I said 

"A honeybee can only deposit .1 milligrams of apitoxin when it releases its stinger" Caitlin said causing Cisco to shiver slightly

"And yet, Ms. Kang was found with enough venom in her system to kill a herd of elephants. It appears not only is a meta-human controlling these bees but also increasing their toxicity. Bees communicate by releasing pheromones. Maybe this meta's controlling them through secretion" Wells said thinking

"Anyone want to join me in getting a beekeeper suit?" Cisco asked

"I'm pretty sure I can outrun a bee," I said 

"Just don't run into a lake. Bees will wait for you to come up for air and then they'll sting you. Discovery Channel," Caitlin said

"Turns out there's a lot to discover" A female voice came from behind us. I know that voice I turned and saw Felicity standing there 

"Felicity, what are you doing here?" I asked being surprised by her sudden appearance in Central City 

"Can you guys come outside for a sec?" Felicity asked then walked out. We all quickly followed and waited outside for...something. What is Oliver going to show up in Tony Stark's suit? That would be an awesome thing to see and kind of cringy at the same time cause if I was Tony I'll kill anybody who steals my suit. 

"What exactly are we waiting for, Ms. Smoak?" Wells asked

"Up there," Felicity said. I heard a wooshing sound in the distance like someone flying. Oh god, I hope I'm not right-

"Is that a bird?" Caitlin asked

"It's a plane," Cisco said

"Its Oliver in Tony Stark's suit," I said then saw Felicity, Cisco, Caitlin, and Wells looking at me weird

"No it's my boyfriend," Felicity said and a man landed on the ground and took off his helmet

"Hi I'm Ray," The man said waving with a cheesy smile. Is it just me or does this Ray dude look like...Superman? We all went back inside of S.T.A.R. Labs and the team was looking at Ray's suit

"So he seems a little tall for you. Taller than me perhaps taller than Steve combined" I said grumbling a bit and Ray's appearance. Yes I admit I find Felicity's boyfriend hot

"Barry Allen, are you jealous?" Felicity asked

"Je... no. No, I'm not jealous. I just... I really wish you would've called before flying in" I said

"Oh no, he flew. I drove" Felicity said

"I'm serious, all right? Now is not the best time," I said to her 

"Why? What's wrong?" Felicity asked I looked down.

"I'm kind of partial to The Atom," Ray said to Cisco

"You married to that, or..." Cisco trailed

"Well I was going to name myself Iron Man 2.0 but...then I got a call from Angry Stark saying the only '2.0 Iron Man out there is my friend Rhodey also you owe me money Palmer' yeah wasn't exactly a good meeting afterward," Ray said

"All fairness at least you paid instead of Oliver" Cisco joked. I watched as those two idiots talked about Stark

"I cannot wait to tell Tony about this," I said shaking my head. We all started to talk to Ray and Ray and Felicity flirted...quite a lot which started to make me feel uncomfortable "We kind of have a lot going on already. There's the meta-human killer that can control a whole swarm of bees,"  I said

"Cool. I mean awful" Ray said. Yep, he is perfect for Felicity. Ray happily volunteer to help us with this whole meta-human situation while Cisco suggested that he sits this one out. 

"Ray, why don't you stay here and work on your suit while Barry and I run to Jitters for some java?" Felicity suggested

"Sounds like a plan" Ray said

"Coffee?" Felicity asked me. I nodded. We both headed off to Jitters. I sat there at the table drowning in my thoughts

"You know I left Starling City to get away from the mood and brood, but it looks like it followed me here," Felicity said sipping her coffee

"I know. I'm sorry. It's like I said before, now is not the best time," I said 

"Barry, I have been through enough with you to know when you're holding something back. Is this because I told Ray your secret?" Felicity asked. I looked at her in disbelief "Because he is trustworthy, Barry. He wants to help people, just like you" She said which made me calm slightly. What's next Felicity is Iris going to tell you that I sang in a group back at highschool so you can tell your handsome boyfriend about that? 

"That's not it, it's about W-" I was quickly cut off by Felicity

"Oh no did you and Steve not get together the last time I was here? Oh no, no, no that is a big no, no I have waited for you to call me and tell me that you and Steve finally hooked up and that you told Steve your secret" Felicity said rambling on

"What no, it's not about him trust me him and I are fine," I said

"Did you guys finally hooked up?" Felicity asked

"No Felicity," I said

"Oh come on why are you going to tap that ass?" Felicity asked causing me to choke a little on my coffee

"Felicity it's not about him it's about Well-" I said and got cut off this time by Eddie

"Barry" Eddie called out

"Hey Eddie, you remember Felicity," I said to him

"How can I forget you crushed me and Iris at trivia night," Eddie said

"Yeah I did," She said proudly and drank her coffee. 

"So what brings you here you Eddie?" I asked

"You didn't tell me that Iris knows your secret" Eddie said

"Oh...yeah fuck...I forgot to tell you that when I told you my secret" I said

"You told Iris and Eddie your secret but not Steve. I can never understand you Barry Allen" Felicity said

"Oh trust me there are a lot more you don't know about me Felicity like when I tried out for the football team which I will never in a million years talk about," I said cringing at the memory

"Then why bring it up?" Felicity asked. I glared at her to shut her up

"Barry Iris and I have been fighting ever since you told me because I let it slip and she yelled at me thinking I found out then I said Barry told me and she said you did as well then we fought because I found out you told her on Christmas. It has affected our relationship Barry we haven't had sex in 2 weeks-" Eddie said causing me to spit out my coffee coughing

"Okay whatever you and my sister do when I'm not around is none of my business, okay and you better be using protection that is my baby sister you cre-" I said about to snap

"Barry chills your inner Oliver Queen is showing," Felicity said.  

"Barry it's crushing our relationship because of your secret," Eddie said. I sighed feeling bad for him

"I have an idea why don't we all head out to dinner together you can bring Iris, I can bring Ray and Barry can bring Steve," Felicity said

"Um," I said trying to argue

"No arguing Barry the tension between you and Steve is unbearable even I was rooting for you two to kiss," Felicity said. I went silent

"I have to agree with her Barry," Eddie said. I grumbled 

3rd Person Pov

While Barry is questioning his life choices, back at S.T.A.R. Labs Ray and Cisco were in the basement area fixing up Ray's suit.

"So you put solid oxide fuel cells into the belt?" Cisco asked looking at the suit

"Yeah, it's the only place to hide the hardware," Ray said 

"Hmm, well, they should be generating enough energy to power the suit. It could be the operating temperature. I mean, you're essentially..." Cisco trailed

"Overheating the system, yeah. I figured," Ray said

"But if we insulate them with a ceramic compound" Cisco suggested

"We may improve the operating efficiency," Ray said "You are quite clever Cisco," Ray said. Those words started to echo in Cisco's head which all of a sudden caused some weird memory trigger in Cisco. Cisco looked around the room and saw it had turned gray and he heard a voice

"Some would say I'm the reverse," A voice said booming through Cisco's eardrums. Everything went back to normal when Ray spoke up again. Cisco grabbed at his head and was confused as to what he saw.

"Cisco? You okay?" Ray asked

"Yeah. I haven't been getting enough sleep, so.." Cisco trailed even though it wasn't exactly a lie. Something was going on with Cisco and Cisco couldn't figure it out. He was broken out of his thoughts by the alarm going off and Caitlin's voice coming through the speakers asking for them. 

Steve's Pov

Iris and I were hanging out at Eddie's place, Iris revealed to me that she and Eddie have been fighting and she doesn't know what to do.

"I mean I get why he is angry for keeping a big secret from him just for him to find out later on but still we haven't had sex in 2 weeks," Iris said. I looked at Iris "Maybe I said a little too much" She said. Ya think I haven't gotten laid in 66 years oh wait...before then I didn't have anybody in my life I'm still a- you know what never mind

"That's not why I am looking at you Iris I really don't care what you and Eddie do when Barry isn't around but I need to know. What are you hiding?" I asked

"Steve I can't tell you I promised my dad," Iris said. This must be a big secret I can tell because it is taking a toll on Iris

"Iris I don't care if your dad gets angry at me if he tries to get angry at you I'll reason with him like I did when I told him that I'm Captain America tell what you're hiding," I said to her. Iris took a deep breath and was to tell me when my phone went off. Really? just really. "Hold on it might be important... it's Joe," I said and answered. Joe said there was an assault currently happening and that he needed me. "I'm on my way," I said.

"I am guessing it's important?" Iris asked. I nodded "Alright we'll talk later," she said. I quickly ran out of the house and drove off to the location. When I got there I saw someone lying on the ground

"Stay with me Flash!" Joe yelled doing CPR on him. I quickly ran to him 

"What happened?" I asked

"Meta-human attack I need to call for back up please try and get his heart beating again," Joe said then ran off to the radio. I started to do CPR while Flash laid there not moving or moving...he looked dead. My heart began to beat very fast. 

"Come on Flash come on breathe," I said still doing CPR. I placed my head on his chest...no heartbeat. I looked at Flash and tilted his head back and placed my mouth on his pumping air in him. I did it about 3 times before going back to Chest compressions.  "Anybody there?! Flash isn't breathing he doesn't have a pulse" I yelled through coms

"Step away from him Cap," Cisco said

"What why? I can't leave him he'll die!" I yelled

"We need to jumpstart his heart. There's a defibrillator in the suit," I heard Wells through coms. I backed away slowly

"Charge it to 360 joules. Charging in three, two, one" Caitlin said and saw lightning surrounded Barry. Nothing happened

"Hit him again," I said 

" 400 joules. Charging in three, two, one" Caitlin said. Flash gasped for air and coughed. I quickly went to his side and helped him up 

"Flash you're okay," I said

" And that is it for the defibrillator it is completely fried," Wells said through coms "You are lucky to be alive" He added. The Flash panted and placed his hand on my chest I felt a slight zap of electricity on my chest. His suit still might be full of charge. I held him close to me. 

I thought I lost him...

Barry's Pov

All I remember was getting stung by the bees multiple times and passing out and waking up to me being held by Captain America. I remember placing my hand on his chest and felt a jolt of electricity the last time I ever felt that was when I held Steve's hand. I broke away from him and stood up. 

"I need to head back to S.T.A.R. Labs," I said.

"Alright, I'll hang back and help the officers out," Captain said. I flashed back to S..T.A.R. Labs and was met by an angry Felicity   

"I was very specific that you not die," Felicity said slightly angry

"Cisco what happened I followed your directions?" I asked. Everything started with me getting a call about an assault taking place I had to get the bees away from everyone including the victim which sadly didn't end well for him in the end then all of this happened

"I'm sorry. I led you the wrong way. The schematics that we had, they... they weren't up to date," Cisco said. I stared at him suspiciously thinking about Joe's suspicion of Cisco, this is Cisco he makes sure everything is up to date including his video games but the fact the schematics weren't updated and I almost died that day is making me wonder and have second thoughts about my team. Cisco walked away feeling bad and Felicity walked near me

"That's never happened before," I said 

"What you think Cisco was trying to get you killed? No why would he do that? That doesn't make any sense" Felicity asked. Instead of sharing my thoughts about everything Joe, Steve, and I have been investigating I pretended I was joking

"I know that why I was joking," I said smiling a bit

"Barry, it's our job to protect you and today we failed but that'll just serve as a warning for all of us to be more vigilant in the future," Felicity said and held hands with Ray. I nodded at her words which put my mind at ease...kind of

"Good news...the apitoxin is out of your body. Your levels are back to normal" Caitlin said

"Terrific. Ray, Felicity we're gonna be late for dinner," I said then pulled out my phone and texted Steve. 

"Are you sure that's wise Barry? You just died. "Maybe you should order in tonight," Felicity said

"Yeah we could totally cancel," Ray said

"I'm fine. Alive and Hungry and besides Felicity really wants me to see Steve" I said then grabbed my jacket and walked off without saying another word.

We showed at an expensive restaurant that Ray picked out of course it looked expensive, fancy, and rich like Ray Plamer is...expensive...fancy and rich. It was a nice place. We met up with Iris and Eddie. I waited for Steve as Ray introduced himself to Iris and the moment Iris heard 'Palmer Tech' she asked 'Hey did you know you owe money to Stark? He's very desperate' I felt the annoyance in Ray's expression which caused me to smile. I heard a grooming sound in the distance and saw a familiar motorcycle pull up. Steve took off his helmet and smiled at me. He was wearing a nice tuxedo which caused me to blush. He looked very handsome today. 

"Hello you," Steve said smiling

"Hi Steve um hope you don't mind but Felicity invited her boyfriend, Iris, and Eddie," I said

"Oh you're best friend is in town I didn't know that," Steve said 

"I didn't know either she showed up unannounced so," I said shrugging. Steve reached out towards me, I thought he was going to kiss me but he fixed up my collar "Sorry I had to when you're in the military the moment you see some wrinkles or a messed up collar you have to fix it" He said smiling putting his head down slightly which caused me to smile.  The waiter announced that the table was ready while Eddie ranted about how he has been trying to get a reservation for months now. Iris and Steve met eyes and Iris quickly looked away and sighed. I eyeballed them suspiciously...is there something going on I didn't know about? I sat in between Iris and Steve.

The conversation started nice, I found out Ray bought out the Queen company and Felicity had to work with Ray sounded like a forbidden love story between an employee and the boss.  

"That sounds hard work so when are you going to take over Stark Industries?" Steve asked

"Ha never not unless I want a war with Stark which won't end well for me or anybody in my company I mean we all saw what happened when Oliver tried to take on Stark," Ray said

"Really?! Oliver didn't mention that" I said

"Oh because he was embarrassed by how he lost," Felicity said

"Hmm not the only person holding secrets" Iris mumbled under her breath sipping her wine. I looked at her knowing there was something wrong

"You okay?" I whispered to her

"Oh yeah I'm fine just that Eddie found out that you're...you know who oh actually you told him and he got angry at me because I knew your secret since Christmas. Seems like everyone but Steve knows who you are" Iris whispered then grew angry. I quickly went silent. Iris then turned away from me and continued to talk to Felicity. I felt a nudge on my arm. I turned and Steve turned towards me

"Any idea what's going with Iris? she seems to be hiding something from us... I bet that she is pregnant," Steve said

"Oh god no I would know I am her brother I basically feel what she is feeling. Honestly, I don't know what's going on with," I said lying. I heard Iris scoffed. I sighed "Don't worry about it" I said.

"It's nice that you guys have that level of communication" Iris said as the waiters brought us the food. I started to eat my food which tasted like heaven

"Oh well no not everything. I mean sometimes it's good to just shut up" Felicity said

"I get that some things are better left unspoken or sometimes it's good to know that someone communicates with..their partner," Iris said then glanced at me. I glared at her slightly knowing what she was saying. The conversation started to take a turn when Ray mentioned Wells and called him a hero.

"I...I'll be right back just excuse me," I said getting up and going to 'bathroom' Felicity excused herself and followed me

"Okay, you've been acting super strange ever since Ray and I got to central City. What is going on with you and don't say 'it's a bad time' Oliver might be joining the League of Assassins, Laurel's the Black Canary and Thea's training with Malcolm so I know about bad times" Felicity said revealing everything that is happening in Starling City in the last few months. I sighed finally giving in

"Joe, Steve, and I found out that Wells isn't who he says he is..He...He is the man that killed my mother" I said

"Oh my god but he's been helping you," Felicity said

"Get faster, stronger I know," I said sighing

"Why?" She asked

"I don't know. I don't know anything anymore, especially who I can and can't trust" I said

"So you think Cisco and Caitlin are helping him? That's imp-" Felicity started but got interrupted by a now pissed off Iris

"Barry Allen if you don't tell Steve Rogers that you're The Flash then I will because if you tell Eddie that you're The Flash then Steve has the right to know if you want to be with him," Iris said. I froze in my tracks...she wouldn't...she couldn't...we had a deal. The tension was interrupted by Felicity's phone going off. Felicity hung up and looked at me 

"We need to go back to S.T.A.R. Labs now," Felicity said

"I'll meet you there," I said and Felicity left "Don't you dare tell Steve about my secret Iris we had a deal," I said

"Well, I want to back off because I realize BOTH of you are keeping secrets yeah that's right Steve has a secret too. If you want to know what his secret is tell him you're The Flash then you'll know and once he tells you man I cannot wait to see your look you will look dum and feel dumb knowing it was that obvious but you were blind to see" Iris said snapping a bit

"Iris I know this is hard on you it is for me as well but you-" I said

"No no more excuses. Tell him or I will and don't think twice that I won't because you are my brother just remember I have his phone number" Iris said then stormed out leaving me shocked and scared. I quickly gathered myself and went to Steve apologizing that I had to leave

"It's fine Barry you do what you have to do and maybe we can have dinner again soon just...the two of us," Steve said.

"I like that idea Steve I'll see you soon," I said then walked out. I flashed back to S.T.A.R. Labs and found out that Caitlin and Cisco are protecting themselves and heard a buzzing sound...it was one of the bees I quickly grabbed a jar and captured it putting Cisco's nerves at ease. We found out that the bee is a robot which means we are dealing with a  mad scientist. Felicity found a connection between the two victims and found out they work at Mercury Labs. Wells and Joe decided to team up and get information from the person who runs the place. I decided to hang back and hang out at the treadmill area, instead of running on it I sat down on it and thought about the times Wells was training me trying to get me faster to take on Reverse-Flash.

"Okay, so we found our queen bee. Brie Larvan. She's a roboticist. Joe is running a trace on her current location but so far nothing" Felicity said walked in

"Good. Where is Ray?" I asked seeing that Felicity showed up on her own. Usually, Ray is right behind her and stuck to her side.

"Oh he's working on his suit with Cisco," Felicity said

"I like Ray he seems like he's a really good guy," I said

"He is a good guy just like Cisco and Caitlin," Felicity said I sighed "I know that you're in a tricky situation but that's when you need your friends to have your back and how can they if you won't let them?" Felicity asked 

"It's not that simple. What if Joe is right and I tell them and it backfires? Wells isn't their boos Felicity he is their mentor their hero...my hero" I said sighing "I don't know what to do" I said. Felicity sat next to me

"When I first met Oliver before I knew he was The Arrow he would...he would ask me to do weird things for him like decrypt a bullet-ridden computer or hack some company and when I would as him why he would come up these ridiculous excuses, and I always knew he was lying, but I would help him anyway," Felicity said "You know why? Because I knew Oliver was a good person with a  good heart and Cisco and Caitlin...they're no different" Felicity explained which made me think long and hard about them.

Felicity and I decided to watch Ray and Cisco at work

"You're so lucky" Caitlin said to Felicity "Ray is so nice, smart and hot" 

"agree," I said checking out Ray's ass. Nice pair of bums right there

"Yeah it's kind of like I'm dating Barry but in Oliver's body and the mechanic skills of Tony Stark," Felicity said. I looked at her weird

"I'm sorry me?" I asked

"Well I mean if you were ever straight that's what you'll be like personality-wise- I should shut up"  Felicity said. We were interrupted by a buzzing sound coming from the jar

"It must have re-activated and if it's being controlled wirelessly" I trailed

"I can trace its signal and figure out where it's trying to go," Felicity said and went to the computer to do her normal Felicity thing. "Oh boy," Felicity said a few seconds later

"What?" I asked getting into my suit

"The swarm is headed for Mercury Labs," Felicity said

Brie Larvan's going after Tina" I said then flashed off and alerted Captain America who ended up driving next to me a few seconds later "You got fast all of a sudden" I said

"Oh I was already on standby, Detective West sent me a message about the  person behind of all of this all I was waiting for was a call," He said

"Alright so the plan is-" I started

"Got her! She's in an abandoned greenhouse" Felicity said in coms "You need to take down Brie it's the only way to stop the bees" She added. I looked at Captain who had the GPS set for the location 

"We are on our way" Captain said

"Oh st- Captain America didn't know you were part of the team now," Felicity said

"Kind of I didn't get a resume from the team so I have been volunteering besides Tony had this weird system set up so now I get the alerts from S.T.A.R. Labs," He said

"We don't have a resume for you to join you can just join," Cisco said

"Oh really so you're saying a manic meta-human who is pretending to be a hero can come in and join the team and kill you all?" Captain asked

"Correction we will have resumes for you to sign," Cisco said

"Wait take out Brie What about McGee?" I asked

"The defibrillator in your suit is broken you can't risk going near Mercury labs," Caitlin said. I heard Ray's voice in the distance saying he's going in

"Whoa we haven't tested out the new power yet," Felicity said. 

"Okay new plan we are getting some help, Cap would you like to take down Brie with me?" I asked 

"Sure been a while since I took down any normal criminals" Captain replied 

"Alright try and keep up," I said smirking

"On your left" Captain said zooming past me. I grumbled no one is supposed to be faster but me. 

"Ha got her! I can't jam her frequency but I can redirect the bees to a new target. Honey get ready" Felicity said. Captain and I made it to Brie's hideout and kicked down the door

"It's over Brie. I know you're trying to kill Dr. McGee. You think that she betrayed you. I can imagine how that feels," I said having Captain look at me with concern in his eyes. 

"You think you understand the sting of betrayal? I'll show you what it means to be stung,'' Brie said and caused the bees to surround me and Captain. I felt Captain grab me and shielded me from a possible bee attack but the bees didn't attack. We both looked at the bees weird 

"Flash, America I hacked into the bees' frequency. I'm controlling them. I'm the queen of this hive," Felicity said

"Oh, she's good. She's like my nemesis. I've never had a nemesis before. I kind of like it," Brie said. I took a deep breath and realized I was being held by Captain, and I didn't let go. It felt...romantic. 

"Are you two a thing or something?" Brie asked us breaking us from our thoughts. That is a question I'm wondering myself.

After that awkward moment, Captain went to take Brie to Iron Heights while I looked for the team. I heard 

"Cisco's been stung. He's going into shock," Ray said while Caitlin was doing CPR on him

"Hold on back up, I'm going to try something," I said then placed my hands on Cisco's chest and zapped him to jump-start his heart having my powers act like AED. He didn't respond. I kept trying and trying upping the electricity in my hands. Moments later Cisco gasped awake. I sighed a relief and helped Cisco up

" Either my fear of bees is over or it just got a lot worse," Cisco said catching his breath

"Thank god you're okay," Caitlin said

"I've never had anybody take a bee for me. Thank you," Ray said

"Your welcome bro" Cisco said

"Cisco...you're a hero man," I said which caused me to gasp slightly at my words. Cisco smiled at me but 

-next day-

After that stinging day yesterday, today was the day Felicity and Ray have to go back to and I was at work bored out of my mind looking at a file. I flipped the page of the file when a knock on the door frame broke me out of my thoughts. I turned to the person

"Dr. McGee," I said

"May I come in?" She asked. I nodded 

"Yeah, of course. What can I do for you?" I asked

"I wanted to apologize. I should have listened to you when you warned me about Brie. Perhaps next time I will take the CCPD's offer of protection," McGee said 

"After we lost your tachyon prototype, I can understand why you were hesitant to trust us," I said

"Thank you," McGee said nodding then turned around to walk away. I stood up

"Can I ask you something?" I asked causing McGee to turn around and look at me "I couldn't help but notice some tension between you and Dr. Wells," I said remembering that day Wells and I interviewed her and I felt the tension between them it was almost...unbearable reminded the tension between me and Wells.

"That's all in the past" McGee said

"Do you mind if I ask what happened between you two?" I asked

"I ask myself that same question all the time. 15 years ago, Harrison and I were thick as thieves. We were promising young scientists in Starling City. He was such a kind man. Then everything changed after Tess died," McGee said

"They were gonna get married?" I asked

"I understand how grief can affect someone, but this was more than that. It was like, after that day, Harrison Wells became a completely different person," McGee said I stood there with my arms crossed thinking "Good day" McGee said bidding farewell

"Bye," I said still in deep thought. After she left Joe walked in

"How's Cisco?" Joe asked

"Happy to be alive. And sad that Ray is leaving," I said sitting back down at my chair "It was a really brave thing he did, risking his life. Selfless..." I trailed

"Yeah. It definitely was," Joe said. My mind was racing with everything McGee told me this just helped me moved closer to my case of my Mother's death. I am so close to getting my dad out of prison.

I raced over to Jitters where Ray and Felicity were getting their cup of coffee. I watched the two get their coffees before they made their way towards me.

"And another end to another exciting adventure in Central City," Felicity said

"Ray, thank you for all your help," I said to him "And I hope you figure out the problem with your suit" I added

"Oh I already have, All this time, I've been looking at the power source the wrong way. I kept thinking we needed to go bigger. But the solution, as always, is simply to go smaller," Ray said. I smiled and nodded at the way Ray was explaining. 

" You okay?" Felicity asked

"mmhmm I'm going to be," I said smiling "thank you for your advice" I added

3rd Person POV

Later on that evening, Iris and Eddie were having a heated discussion before Iris stormed away. Barry saw Iris and saw the way Eddie acted and became concerned about their relationship. Barry and Joe looked over at Barry's case after Barry caught Joe up. Caitlin and Cisco walked in about to pick Barry up for a night out.

"We're not going to karaoke are we?" Cisco asked looking at Joe and Barry at the board which was filled with articles. Joe shook his head

" This is everything we know about my mother's murder and The Reverse-Flash. I've been gathering information on him for a long time. And this is everything we know about Dr. Wells," I said

"I don't understand. What do Dr. Wells and The Reverse-Flash have to do with each other?" Cisco asked

"Um...They're the same person" I said

"That's impossible," Caitlin said

"Look, Caitlin, it took me a long time to believe it too, but it's him," I said

"Dr. Wells is a speedster?" Cisco asked then grew very quiet afterward this reminded him of the dreams he has been having of Wells killing him and showing off his speed everything Barry was saying was coming together in Cisco's head. 

"he's paralyzed," Caitlin said

"Is he though?" I asked

" And why would he kill Barry's mother? It doesn't make any sense," Caitlin said

"Cisco, say something," Barry said noticing how quiet Cisco was

"'ve been having these dreams. Mostly at night, but sometimes during the day. But they don't really feel like dreams. They... They feel real," Cisco said

"What happens in the dream?" Barry asked

"Dr. Wells is The Reverse-Flash. And... he kills me," Cisco said
