Hello everyone, welcome to a new chapter today I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. Alright so school is officially out and I haven't even updated this book in a long time well in case you didn't read Take A Closer Look I was dealing with some personal issues that caused me to have major writer's block but I am feeling better *hears thunder in the background* oop great thunder Thor must be on his way. But I will try and update more often during my summer break it's just that I have been doing some sketching and watching My Hero Academia...so I am already set for my indoor quarantine summer break :D

In today's chapter, Flash, Captain America and IronMan are going around stopping criminals around Central City, Steve finds out Eddie Brock is spreading rumors about the split of the Avengers, Tony is getting closer to Barry just so he can get closer to Wells, a new villain is in town.

Also do you guys like the picture I made? Since Ironman is staying in Central City for a little while I decided to doodle a little and put my editing skills to the test and boom this came out. :D

Barry's Pov

Everyone has a hero, someone they look up to or admire someone they just wish they could be.

"Flash behind you!" Captain America shouted and threw his shield at a robber who then started to drive away on the motorcycles. "Damnit," He said

"Pfft for gosh sakes watch your language," Iron man said. I can picture Captain's eyes rolling 

"I got them," I said and flashed off chasing after them. 

It's easy to believe in heroes, what's hard is when our heroes stop believing in us. I looked behind me and saw Iron Man and Captain American following me

"Remember kid, you aren't doing this alone," Iron Man said. The Robbers started to drive away faster

"Oh, barry there's an intersection coming up hurry!" Caitlin shouted in my ear. I saw a bunch of cars and the 2 robbers went in two different directions while the rest went straight. 

"Guys which way?" I asked through coms

"Left," Cisco said

"Right" Caitlin said

"Right" Cisco said

"Left" Caitlin said. I stopped and looked at the two heroes next to me 

"Stop! you both hear yourself telling me two different things right?" I asked

"Barry, listen up, listen carefully," Dr. Wells said on coms "Here is what you're going to do," he said. "Tell Captain and Iron man to try and follow you, now the queen is trying to make it to the bridge, but I have a shortcut" He started, I looked at Captain and Iron Man 

"I need you guys to follow me," I said to them

"Not a problem for me but it is for oldie here" Iron man started 

"Really!? Now?" Captain asked

"Can't you, I don't know carry him?" I suggested Iron man and Captain looked at each other hesitantly

"Kid, just go we'll be behind you" Captain spoke. I nodded and flashed off.

"Go left, left...right," Wells said giving me directions

"I see her!" I shouted seeing the motorcycle insight

"Make her go west before Fremont," Wells said

"Okay, how?" I asked

"I'd recommend a detour that is where Cap and Iron man, come in," Wells said

"Got it! uh iron man could use a little stopper here" I shouted in the sky hoping that they were near me

"Got ya, kid," Iron Man said flying in a holding Captain then dropped him. My heart skipped a beat seeing him fall but managed to land on his feet, the motorcycle came to a stop and tried to hit Captain but didn't stand a chance. Captain punched Queen knocking her out just in time for the police to arrive. I smiled seeing Captain fight.

"Now the King is headed for the entrance to the interstate," Wells said. I sped around trying to find what Wells was talking about then found King trying to drive through the entrance. Iron man sent off a warning blast at King causing him to stop.

"What entrance?" I said through sarcasm

"Ugh I love you kid," Iron Man said flying next to me I saw the rest of the group closing in I flashed around the bikes grabbing the keys

"Got the keys," I said. Iron man landed in the middle of the group and held up his hands at the robbers before part of his suit came up and had blasters on the side. Man, he is good at building stuff. The Police surrounded the crew, I sped off the S.T.A.R. Labs. I was greeted by a happy Cisco. I gave Cisco a high five

"Efficiently done, Mr. Allen," Dr. Wells said

"We need a picture," I said all of a sudden

"Pretty sure rule number one of having a secret identity is not taking pictures of yourself in your super suit without a mask," Caitlin said

"Why? Iron man did it" I said shrugging 

"Only because he revealed his identity in 2008," Dr. Wells said

"Look, this is just for us. This is to document all this. Who knows? maybe people in the future will want to know how all of this happened." I said with a smile holding a camera

"All right, well, if you want the future to have the whole story, then, we all need to be in it" Cisco said getting together with Wells and Cailtin

"First, let me put on some makeup?" Caitlin asked

"The future does not care about makeup," Cisco said

"Okay, big smiles.....3....2...1..." I said counting down then hit the button on the camera just in time for me to flash towards them and pose then flashed back to the camera and looked at the shot.

"Does that count as a selfie?" Caitlin asked

"Absolutely," I said smiling 

"Sick it came out good" Cisco said looking at the picture. I smiled at Cisco then looked at Dr. Wells 

"Thanks for talking me through things out there," I said with a smile

"My pleasure, well done," Dr. Wells said

"I have to say it was a bit of a rush feeling like a..." I started

"A hero?" Dr. Wells asked and I nodded. I decided to dismiss myself from the group and went to Joe's place when I saw Iris 

"Hey" I greeted her

"Hey" She greeted back looking at her laptop unamused

"You do realize the whole point of moving out is not being at home anymore right?" I asked. Iris laughed

"I actually forgot a few things like my laptop then I got distracted by this news blog written by dumbass Eddie Brock" Iris sighed. I looked at her weird then looked at the news article and gasped. 

Steve's Pov

I was in the kitchen making some lunch when I heard my roommate yell cuss words on the couch. I rolled my eyes and went to him "What now Tony?" I asked

"I want to kill Eddie Brock" was all Tony said. I looked at him to see if he was kidding but he wasn't.

"What did he do?" I asked

"Read it yourself," He said showing me the news article

'After an intense street fight late last night in Central City there was another intense moment between two former Avengers teammates Captain America and Ironman, now this brought to my attention to the weird fight that happened in Germany's airport where no one not even the Avengers themselves, want to talk about, was there a fight between Captain America and Ironman that ended the Avengers? Although Tony Stark nor Captain American themselves came forward to tell us what actually happened to The Avengers the question(s) and theories remain, maybe Captain America and Iron Man had a spat that ended up being a huge fight and ended the Avengers because of tension, maybe Captain America is frustrated with the fact that maybe he is in love with Iron Man but Iron Man is with Pepper (happily engaged I might add) or maybe all of this started when Captain America left The Avengers and started to team up with I am guessing his speedster Boyfriend that is The Flash. We will never never know however leave me your comments and be sure to tag me I am curious what you all have to say'  The blog read I stared at it in disbelief is he really spreading rumors about me 'in love' with tony or in love with The Flash? I rubbed my eyes 

"All of this except for the fight is bullshit....unless you secretly have a crush on me...it's okay if you do admit it Stevie I'm hot" Tony teased winking at me. I rolled my eyes

"Do you have any idea how much this affects you? This rumor could ruin your engagement with Pepper, congrats by the way" I said

"I know this affects everything around me and you and the former team the only thing I can think is going to the press and say 'yes we had a fight yes the avengers got involved sadly and disbanded the team but Steve and I are working things out' of course I won't use your real name in this gotta keep your identity secret," Tony said

"You are really going to say that bullshit?" I asked

"Yes to keep the press off our asses while we take down Eobard," Tony said. I sighed and sat down at the couch. Tony turns off his little hologram computer "Look Cap I know this rumor might ruin part of your life after trying to start your life over I finally got Pepper to say yes after I disbanded the Avengers I get it we all want a life and dickheads like Brock here are trying to ruin that, I get how you feel that is why we should go to the press and tell them what really happened" Tony explained. I looked at him and nodded

"Alright," I said

"Alright," He said "I'm going to start writing my speech and rehearse it," Tony said getting up. I chuckled to myself.  

3rd Person Pov (Sorry with the bouncing between pov I want to make sure Wells gets his own POV too) 

Later that night, Dr. Wells opened his door to his place. His house or mansion was nice and big with expensive furniture, expensive flooring, and ceiling. Part of his ceiling was actually glass. After Dr. Wells closed the door he stood up from his chair and started to walk towards a small bar he had and poured himself a drink and took off his glasses showing off his true self, a lie that he kept from his own team. Dr. Wells turned on the radio that started to play a sweet melody. Dr. Wells was enjoying the sweet melody when all of a sudden his phone buzzed. Wells looked puzzled but looked at he got some weird static feedback from both his phone and the radio and a voice came in

"Harrison Wells," It said

"Hello?" Dr. Wells asked looking around

"We both know what you did," The voice said, "It is time to pay the piper!" It yelled before a high pitch whining sound started to happen. it was so loud that the entire house shook and the glass ceiling shattered as a quick reaction Wells grabbed a gun. Dr. Wells managed to Flash to safety away from the broken glass. All he saw next was a huge wave hit his window in front of him, the shards of glass were flying towards him as he flashed out of the way. 

Barry's Pov 

I was laying in my bed when I got a called a from Joe, someone tried to break into Dr. Wells' place, Joe didn't even have to explain what else happened I flashed over to the crime scene. Joe saw me and we walked together and saw Wells 

"The police should have not been called, I got a prank called before all of this," Dr. Wells said pointing at the shattered glass that was everywhere. 

"This feels like more than just a prank Doctor," Joe said

"That's cause he has a target on his back, heads up doc somebody wants you dead" A familiar voice came in I turned and saw Tony Stark being checked by cops, oh joy

"Mr. Stark, what do I owe this unexpected surprise?" Dr. Wells asked unamused

"Well I was in the area and I saw a bunch of cops in your house and my little computer did a scan and said you were broken into? and yet...I don't see anything missing so I believe that this robber or whoever knows you and was trying to kill you" Tony said. I looked at Tony weird then at Wells who kept a straight face

"Doctor, is Sherlock here correct?" Joe asked (A/N: See what I did there?) 

"Funny Detective," Tony said then walked off to do whatever the famous Tony Stark does.

"Dr. Wells, Dr. Wells are you okay?" I heard Caitlin asked walking in with Cisco

"Dr. Snow, I'm fine," Dr. Wells said "Hello Cisco" He greeted Cisco. I looked off in the distance and saw Tony peeking behind the corner like he was...spying. I walked over there and flashed over there and pinned him to the wall.

"Ooo hello, quite the grip there kid or should I say Flash?" Tony said

"What the hell are you really doing here? Why are spying on Wells?" I asked growling slightly in anger.

"I'm not spying on anything or anyone kid I was trying to scan the place to see who actually did this" Tony said and held up a small computer gauntlet that was from his suit "Whoever tried to hurt wells is using a high-level frequency from whatever tech they are using," He said. I stared at him to see if he was lying he was using a strong type of poker face I couldn't tell if he was lying or not. I let go of him showing that I believed him.

"I swear if you tell Steve about me being The Fl-" I was cut off by Tony

"Relax kid, I not that type of guy that runs around screaming 'hey lookie this young nerdy kid who acts like Peter Parker is the flash' that will be wrong of me," Tony said name dropping a kid that I never heard of.

"Alright, I want you to leave now as my team and I figure out about this situation," I said and Tony and walked off. I met up with my team who were star-struck to be in Harrison Wells' place

"Hey what took you guys so long?" I asked

"We got lost, we've never been here before," Caitlin said

"Really? Never?" I asked 

"He tends to keep his private life....private" Caitlin said

Steve's Pov:

"YOU DID WHAT!" I yelled at Tony who showed up at CC Jitters during my shift and told me what he did

"Apparently you weren't listening, I said no sugar in coffee only half and half creamer," Tony said I rolled my eyes

"I heard that part your coffee is brewing I was talking about what you did, you went on Dr. Harrison Wells' property which was flooded by cops because of a 'supposed' break-in last night and you were able to cross the investigation line to spy on him," I said a little angrily

"Well see if you put it that way you made a sound like I was the one who broke into his house," Tony said smiling a bit I scoffed while making his coffee

"No time for jokes Stark you do realize you could've compromised our mission completely if Wells found out what we were up to and if he did I would not hear the end of it from Fury, I said

"Relax only your boyfriend Barry noticed what I was doing the house and tried to stop me but luckily I covered my tracks and gave him a lead as to who possibly caused the break-in, Tony said. I sighed while handing him his coffee

"first of all he's not my boyfriend second of all if you really wanted to get hands-on whatever Wells was hiding in his place, you could've called me and I would've been a distraction, I said

"Right if you were there you would've made Barry weak in the knees and blushing like a fangirl" Tony teased. I glared at him 

"What it's true, oh hey I noticed it's just you where is that hot, Wakandan looking reporter?" Tony asked talking about Iris

"Uh she called me earlier today saying she got a job at the Central City Picture News, I said with a smiling remembering how excited she was and how her dream came true. 

"Oh well good for her" Tony said taking a sip of his coffee

"And she doesn't look like a Wakandan," I said 

"She does a little like if T'Challa was to meet her he'll probably ask her out," Tony said

"Yeah I kinda see them together," I said slightly picturing it "But Iris is dating Eddie and just moved in with him so there goes that chance," I said 

"Never say never cap, anyway I am off to get donuts, see ya," Tony said walking off and dropping a tip-off in the jar. All of a sudden a bunch of cop cars were rushing past and Tony running back in

"Steve get over here now!" Tony called out I immediately rushed out behind of the counter and walked outside and heard what appears to be a weird frequency wave hitting windows causing some buildings to shake.

"ha! I was right about the person using high-frequency waves that cause high vibrations to shatter windows from afar" Tony said then looked at me "We need to go" 

"yep" I said and ran off to my bike and unzip a bag showing off the Sheild. 

Barry's Pov ~Earlier~

So it was Hartley Rathaway that did this, as I was investigating further and overheard Eddie saying that Wells doesn't have any scratches, and yet he was in the middle of the glass before it shattered but managed to rush out of the way before the glass hit him. Before Wells told us more about Hartley we went back to S.TA.R. Labs where he pulled up a profile picture of him. He explained how everything fell apart after he came out to his parents, I am guessing that his parent don't approve which I can see why he would snap I would too, being gay sure is hard in this world. Cisco told us how he and Hartley never got along and how he left S.T.A.R. Labs a year or so before the particle acclerator. After the long talk about Hartley, Joe and I headed back to CCPD where I tested out Tony's theory. 

"Everything has a natural frequency" I started, setting up a glass and a machine "And since sound is expressed as a vibration if the pitch of the sound matches the natural vibration frequency of an object then," I said turning on the machine causing a loud high pitch noise and the glass shattered. I yelped in surprise and laughed

"So, you're saying that can happen to anything, not just glass?" Joe asked

"I think that's absolutely what happened to the windows at Wells' house he is using some kind of sonic technology," I said 

"I'm getting this feeling that Wells is hiding something...about what's going on with this Rathaway character" Joe started going over to the glass and reached for it

"Don't touch that!" I yelled stopping him "I mean it sounds like this Hartley guy was a pill before he went all super-villain so I get why he never mentioned him," I said calmly shrugging

"Like he never mentions his girlfriend that got killed," Joe said I shook my head.

"No," I said, "How did you know about her?" I asked 

"he's taking a yo a big part of our lives I wanted to know more about him," Joe said

"I mean, if you want to know more about him, you could just ask me or Tony Stark since he was spying on Wells," I said and Joe looked at me weird. Yeah you think I would believe Tony was 'giving me a lead' on the case when I know for a fact he was spying on Wells

"Joe, multiple 911 calls, Rathaway Industries is under attack, Captain America and Iron Man are there right now," Eddie said walking in, at that moment my phone buzzed and Joe ran out I answered the phone

"Hey," I said

"Barry, it's Caitlin-" Caitlin said

"I think I know why you are calling," I said and flashed into my suit which was in my locker and flashed out meeting up with the 2 heroes. 

"Flash" Captain America greeted me

"Cap, Stark" I greeted back and greeted Stark

"Speedy" Tony greeted back. I rolled my eyes at the name I'm pretty sure I heard Oliver call one of his teammates that name, I believe his name was..Roy.

"It's over Rathaway," I said 

"You know my name," Harley said turning to us have to admit he looked kinda cute as a bad boy type person. "I know some names too, Caitlin Snow, Cisco Ramon, Harrison Wells," He said I stared at him blankly

"I can hear the radio waves emanating from your suit about 1900 megahertz," Hartley said "is that them on the other end, listening? Are they gonna hear you die? he asked

"No. they're going to hear you get your ass kicked," I said smirking

"Language kid Cap doesn't like that also pretty bold statement gotta give you a fist bump" Tony sai fisting bumping me. I saw Captain drop his head down like he is sick of hearing the word 'language' 

"Okay, looks like you're smart not as smart as everyone says, smart enough to have figured out who Harrison Wells really is," Hartley said which caught the attention of both Captain and Tony, they quickly looked at each other

"You see I know his secret" Hartley said and aimed his arms at us which was covered in gauntlets he was aiming  Captain

"Look out!" I yelled as a quick reaction and pushed him out of the way and got blasted crossed a glass sign that was there. 

I quickly stood up and saw Tony blasting at Hartley. I felt a pair of strong hands helping me up

"You alright?" Captain asked dusting off the shards of glass off of me he is so gentle around me he kind of reminds me of Steve. I couldn't help but stare at his eyes

"Your eyes are beautiful" I said all of a sudden that caused Cap to blush. I realized what I said and looked away embrassed

Way to go Barry Allen

Why don't you asked for his number while you are at it?
