Hello, everyone, I hope you are all doing well and staying safe. A lot of things has happened throughout the week, Logan Williams (Young Barry Allen) passed away before his birthday, Ezra Miller 'attacked' a fan which I know a lot of you think he was just playing around but thanks to that video his movie and his Fantastic Beast role is on the chopping blocks because people are signing a Petition to remove him BUT I created my own Petition to keep Ezra on for The Flash and Fantastic Beasts. If you support Ezra Miller till the end and want to keep him as The Flash please sign this Petition it'll mean a lot. So in today's chapter, Steve isn't doing well with the fact that Tony is staying in Central City,  Captain Cold and his new partner strike by kidnapping Caitlin, Eddie brock notices how Steve and Tony are acting and comes up with rumors that there was a huge fight between them that broke up the Avengers. 

Also, I did add a few scenes that weren't in the series like the moving out part with Iris I know Barry helped her in the next episode but I figure him and Steve helping Iris pack made the scene a little bit better

So here is the chapter everyone

Steve's Pov

"Iron Man is officially staying in Central City for a while," Tony said with a slight grin while everyone is gasping and whispering questions to each other. I stood there in disbelief. First Tony marches his way into my apartment and makes a huge mess that I pray he cleaned up and now he is staying here for a while meaning even after we take down reverse flash he's still going to be here...putting himself in the spotlight causing more chaos and maybe get someone killed. Tony looked at Barry and winked at...why did he wink at him I'll never know. I cleared my throat to get Tony's attention and signaled to come over here to talk.

"Oh, hold on guys Star-Spangled wants to talk to me," Tony said and walked off

"Alright well let's continue the interview" I heard Brock said and went to meet up with the captain 

"What's up doc?" Tony asked (A/N: Prepare for a lot of puns and references from Tony lol god I love tony)

"First of all don't ever call me Star-Spangled again-" I started

"hmm I thought that was your nickname when you showed up here a few months ago," Tony said and started to eat raisins. Seriously Tony where are you getting those foods from?

"Yes I know but I go by Captain America now and second we had an agreement you leave after Reverse-Flash has been taken care of," I said  

"That is still the agreement but I can't help but wonder, he is faster than us and smarter than us he is from the future he is always one step ahead of us it's going to take more than a few days to catch him" Tony explained. I looked at Tony weird...future?

"What do you mean by he is from the future?" I asked

"Fury didn't tell you?" Tony asked me

"No Fury doesn't really tell me anything when it comes to missions," I said remembering the very first mission with the Avengers and finding out about how Fury was going to use the Tesseract.

"Agree. Well I did some research after the little show Reverse-Flash gave us on Christmas, Reverse-Flash or Eobard Thawne isn't from this generation according to Friday so I checked every database by that I mean I hacked in bother Central and Starling City well mostly Central because I tried to hack into Starling City and a hacker name Felicity added some kind of firewall" Tony rambled sighing. I held in a laugh hearing Felicity's name "But I checked every name with Eobard Thawne and he didn't even show up it's like he wasn't uh" I started to pick up what he was saying 

"Wasn't even born yet?" I asked

"Yes that, so with that I couldn't help but wonder about the last name and there is one person in Central City with the same last name and I am staring at the cute blond right now," Tony said looking off in the distance. I followed his eyes and looked at who he was talking about...Eddie. I froze realizing Eddie's name, Eddie Thawne...Eobard Thawne. 

"Oh my god...they're related somehow," I said

"Keep your voice down Cap but yes there is a possible chance we are looking at either his father or given by Eobard's voice, his great, great grandfather that is why Eobard didn't kill him that night because if he did," Tony said

"He would've gotten erased from existence" I continued then looked at him

"Exactly wow Cap when did you get so smart?" Tony asked

"I uh watched movies that dealt with Time Travel so I have a somewhat knowledge on Space time...nerd stuff but we need to tell The Flash," I said

"We can't...yet I know this is very important information but I'm also thinking what if we are wrong then we just put Eddie in the spotlight for no reason and that can be very dangerous, Steve I'm asking you not as a friend but as an ally do not tell The Flash this at least not yet until I get proof," Tony said looking serious. I couldn't help but sigh I would hate to keep a secret from The Flash it's bad enough I'm keeping a secret from Barry about my identity but Tony is right if I tell The Flash who has a huge history with Reverse-Flash and tell him his potential relation with Eddie he's going to go after Eddie and it's going to be bad, I  nodded 

"I won't tell The Flash until you give me the go-ahead" I replied

"Good as for now you better go after your Barry...friend or boyfriend I overheard his sister is moving into her boyfriend's place," Tony said. I nodded then walked off. I saw Brock packing up his stuff I am guessing the interview is over. I drove off to my place to change before I head off to Barry's place. 

Barry's Pov

Before I left CCPD I saw Tony Stark and Captain America talk and I tried to spy on them to see what was going on because reading Captain's body language I knew he wasn't comfortable with whatever situation he was in. I tried to spy on them but Iris pulled me out and asked me to help her move out of Joe's place. She went on and on how she is excited but isn't too sure. I was too busy watching Tony and Captain. I saw Captain look at Eddie in shocked which I have no idea why.

"Barry, are you even listening to me?" Iris asked

"What? no sorry" I said scratching my head nervously. Iris sighed

"I can see that you're staring at Captain America what got a crush on him too?" She asked. 

"What? n-no I don't it's just they were with me during the Reverse-Flash's attack and now they are whispering to each other" I said looking at them "do you think they had some sort of history together?" I asked

"Mmm well what Cap told me him and Stark, also known as Iron Man had a falling out that broke the Avengers up something about Winter Solide killing Tony's parents long ago," Iris said looking at the two

"Huh Steve told me he had a falling out with Stark as well," I said 

"Well Stark is a disliked guy I mean I heard that Tony and Oliver did some sort of money bet or whatever and now Oliver owes him money I don't know but Stark has a lot of falling out with everyone," Iris said "But don't worry about that right now, right now I need your help packing up my stuff," Iris said

"Okay let's go," I said and walked out with her. 

(A/N: I just realized Barry didn't exactly help Iris pack but adding this scene seems to be better....man I should become the writer for The Flash lol jk)

When we got back things were a little awkward between us, Joe noticed it too and looked at me weird. 

"What's going on between you and Iris?" Joe asked

"Nothing there's nothing going on," I said kinda lying, I can see why Iris is acting weird because I told her my secret and now she has to keep everything a secret AND a few months back I did beat up her boyfriend

"That's funny, because I have these two things called eyes, and it doesn't look like you two are fine," Joe said. I finally gave in a sighed

"I told her," I said

"You told her you're The Flash?" He asked me and I slowly nodded "Okay explain to me why you broke my rule," He said crossing his arms

"Isn't it obvious? the man in the yellow suit was threatening her if I told her my secret she'll know that as The Flash and Barry Allen I can protect her besides she already knew because I am horrible at lying" I said signing

"Agree, you do need to learn how to come up with better excuses but I told you not to tell her for her own safety-'' I cut Joe off

"I know but what good will that do? I mean sure she has a boyfriend as a cop but he can't protect her against him" I explained and Joe sighed 

"Alright I understand," He said. I heard a knock at the door and flashed over there. I opened it and saw Steve

"Hey Barry, I uh overheard Iris saying she is starting to pack I was wondering if you guys need help," Steve said with a small smile

"Yes, I do!" I heard Iris's voice from the stairway

"Um alright well come on it," I said smiling slightly and held the door open for him

"Hey Iris, Detective West" Steve greeted Joe. Joe greeted Steve with a smile and a handshake. Why do I have this feeling like I am introducing my 'boyfriend' to my dad? 

"Hi Steve I can't stay long uh I need to go back to CCPD but I am glad you're here to help my baby girl pack," Joe said sounding a little heartbroken

"Of course, it must be hard watching your little girl grow up," Steve said. I watched this conversation unfold

"It is but she's a grown woman now when you become a parent you'll have the same feeling," Joe said looking at Steve then glanced at me. I stood there frozen for a second then cleared my throat. Steve grinned. 

"Right well uh hey iris I actually have an errand to run!" I shouted to the stairs realizing I had to go back to S.T.A.R Labs

"That's fine Barry that's why I called Steve" Iris shouted back. I broke away from the conversation and walked out. By the time I was out of their view I flashed back to S.T.A.R. Labs. I walked in and saw Caitlin looking at a website. 

"Hey" I greeted her which made her gasped and jumped. "Sorry didn't mean to scare you," I said going to her

"No, it's okay I was just kind of focused," She said

"Gotcha, what's firestorm?" I asked looking at the website she was looking at

"It's one of the last things Ronnie said to me before he...flew away," Caitlin said, I remember hearing that Caitlin saw a man follow her to her car before finding out it was her dead fiance and he actually saved me from the man in the yellow suit before he...flamed on and flew away "My dead fiance can fly, I haven't broken that to my parents yet" Caitlin. I didn't respond afterward "You doing okay?" Caitlin asked 

"Yeah, yeah...no I just...I told Iris that I'm The Flash" I said

"Wow bold choice Barry," Caitlin said

"I had no choice and I couldn't help but think, we have been with each other for ages she already knows the secret I have been holding I mean she knew I was gay before I knew and she already knew I was The Flash before I even got the word out I thought maybe I could've her when I first got my powers," I said thinking about it "After she found out everything started to change between us it's no longer...normal," I said

"Before I met Ronnie, I knew exactly what was going to happen every day of my life it was predictable I like predictable but when Ronnie and I started dating, everything started to change he made me try Indian food and scuba diving. At first, it was scary but then it was better." Caitlin said smiling like she was having flashbacks. I couldn't help but glance at the website then thought about something.

"Wait, Caitlin, Scuba," I said

What about it?" She asked

" Self-contained underwater breathing apparatus, it's an acronym. What if a firestorm isn't a word?" I asked 

"Fusion ignition research experiment and science of transmutation originating RNA and molecular structures" Caitlin read "it's 800 pages," She said. I cleared my throat and used my speed and sped through the pages and read some of the things as well.

"There's a lot of stuff in there, but it mostly focuses on transmutation, which is the process of altering the structure of an element by unzipping the atoms...and rebuilding it to create an entirely new element," I explained. Caitlin looked at the screen "Well the article was co-written by Jason Rush, who's a grad student here at Hudson University. So if anybody knows what happened to Ronnie" I trailed

"Maybe he does," She said. I nodded

Steve's Pov

After having a weird chat with Joe about kids I walked upstairs to help Iris out. Her room was filled with stuffed boxes

"Wow you are actually almost done," I said

"Actually I am I mostly called you because I wanted to talk to you," Iris said sitting on her bed

"Oh god you're going to talk about me having kids in the future are you?" I asked

"What? no, I was going to tell you that I think you should tell Barry your secret" She said I stood there and sighed

"Look I know you are scared about your past affecting Barry if you told him your secret but with Tony in town we all know he's an asshole he won't hesitate to tell Barry your secret and Barry is going to question your trust and probably won't trust you anymore and then...you'll lose your chance to be with him" Iris explained. I chewed on my lip nervously.

"What if I want Tony to tell him instead of me? What if I want Barry to not trust me anymore to keep him safe? You don't understand what it's like to be a hero saving the world from an evil god with gold horns, or saving the world from extinction because of a robot, or finding out there are more Hydra agents hiding and waiting to strike or finding out your best friend killed your other friend's parents and have him try to kill your best friend or trying to hide from the secretary of the government that wants to throw you in jail for protecting your best friend. Iris if I tell him he is going to carry all of that baggage with him and if that happens he might as well join The Avengers...or what's left of it" I said. Iris looks down and sighed 

"You're right I don't understand what it's like to be a hero but I have seen a hero first hand, you, my dad, Barry and The Flash. If you tell Barry your secret I know he will trust you still and carry that baggage with you because you have another hero that is willing to stand by your side and be with you till the end of the line" Iris said

"You...just quoted Bucky and I's vow," I said smiling  

"You are there for your friend till the end of the line now it's barry's turn be there for you till the end of the line," Iris said smiling back. We were interrupted by my phone going off. I answered 

"Hello?" 

"Hey Steve, it's Tony listen so Flash's S.T.A.R. Labby friends came in and showed off this shield to protect the police from and I quote 'Captain Cold's freeze gun' which sounds dumb because I was going to call him Mr. Freeze or Subzero but all that's taken" Tony ranted on I sighed and rolled my eyes. "But anyway, there was a break-in at the airport area the police and Eddie Brock's annoying tv crew is going there, I have a bad feeling about this we could use you Cap," Tony said

"Alright I'm on my way Tony," I said then hung up  "I have to go," I said to Iris

"Yeah go," Iris said. I quickly got out of the house and drove off to the airport where Captain Cold is located. When I got there I saw Tony flying around then get hit by...fire?  I saw him falling towards me I quickly got out of the way 

"What the hell?" I asked

"Langauge Cap," Tony said I rolled my eyes.

"What was that?" I asked

"So Captain Cold found a partner who likes fire and is blasting fire everywhere go help the police I need to cool down...literally," Tony said. I nodded and ran off and blocked the fire with my shield. I felt the heat from the fire gun the dude had "GO!" I shouted at the police The fire guy was going crazy blasting the police 

"IM THE HEAT!" The guy yelled

"Forget them Mick get ready for him" I heard Captain Cold said.  I looked at the two criminals The fire guy, Mick smirked then blasted fire at me I quickly blocked the fire but some of the flames hit my leg. I fell to the ground and groaned in pain

"MICK!" Captain cold yelled. I heard a blaster going off 

"You have a temper you need to cool off," Tony said. I saw the two criminals runoff. Tony landed by my side and numbed the wound with a cold breeze "You good cap?" he asked. I nodded "How come your Flashy buddy didn't show up?" he asked.

"I don't know," I said trying to stand up but was helped up by Tony. I nodded a thank you.

We quickly went back to CCPD to help the wounded police officers. I was being treated by Tony who is really good at patching up wounds when I saw Barry walk in and talked to Joe. I watched those two talk then saw Barry walk out again. What in the world is going on with Barry? He never stays in one spot that long

"So as you can see viewers the police are trying hard to stop meta-humans or criminals with Icy hot blasters but it takes heroes to stop these types of criminals, Captain America here got injured showing he needs other heroes to help him and yet The Flash didn't even show up how sad is that?" I heard Brock ask the cameras I sighed in annoyance. Tony uncovered his face

"Hey Dip-shit how about you turn off the cameras before I blast it in pieces," Tony said threatening. The camera crew immediately put down the cameras. "Thank you," Tony said still fixing up the wound "Alright well I fixed up the wound but I don't know how to sew that part of your suit up I'm not a grandma so," Tony said standing up. 

"It's fine Tony I got it," I said standing up. 

"So how come The Flash wasn't out there is he out sick or something?" Tony asked. I shrugged 

"I don't know Tony maybe he had other things to take care of maybe he is still trying to find a lead for...you know who" I whispered talking about Reverse-Flash. Tony nodded 

"Maybe you should go to S.T.A.R. Labs since that's where The Flash is and talk to him get his priorities straight tell him to focus on saving the people of HIS city instead of waiting for Reverse-Flash to strike" Tony suggested. 

"Captain, Stark we just got a report of a kidnapping" Eddie (Thawne) said to us.

Barry's Pov

I walked into S.T.A.R. Labs feeling bad letting Cisco and Dr. Wells do all of the work and heard how it happened I also heard that Captain got injured. I met up with Dr. Wells while Cisco was looking at the computer I didn't see Caitlin she is probably meeting up with that grad student.

"I hope we're not enemies," Dr. Wells said

"What? no of course not" I said

"I thought you might blame me for pushing you to pursue your training rather than help the police," Dr. Wells said I shook my head

"Look I'm an adult, I make my own choices, my own mistakes and I'm glad you push me to be better." I said smiling slightly "it's so weird there was a tie in my life that I would've paid money for your autograph and now we're..." I trailed

"Partners," Wells said

"I was going to say Friends" I corrected him

"In case you doubt it, you push me to be better too," Wells said

"Guys you have to come to look at this" cisco called for us "When the heat gun was fired it increased the surrounding temperature of the air dramatically, sort of like an extreme heatwave" Cisco explained then lifted his head up and smiled "Heat Wave," He said coming up with a nickname

"Stop doing that" Dr Wells said. Cisco than explained to us in order to cancel those guns out they have to cross streams sort of like Ghostbusters. I heard my phone buzzed and saw that Joe was calling me. I answered. Joe told me that there was no sign of Caitlin which means Snart got to her. I broke the news to Cisco and Dr. Wells when the tv in S.T.A.R. Labs was changed 

"Greetings, citizens of Central City. I am Leonard Snart but you can call me cold. I'm gonna make this very simple for everyone" Snart started I saw Caitlin being held by another guy, Heatwave I'm guessing she was whimpering in pain "that red streak you've been hearing whispers about, the one mysteriously saving people these past few months? Well, surprise he's real he calls himself The Flash. Porter and main, tonight, sundown. Come out, come out wherever you are Flash show the whole world you're real or this woman dies" Snart said showing Caitlin 

"No don't come for me, stay away!" Caitlin shouted before Snart turned the camera off. I stood there pissed off. I had no choice but to go out there or else Caitlin dies. I flashed into my suit and ran out to the street that Snart wanted me on. I hung out away from the group of people, I saw Captain America and Iron man standing there waiting and of course, there was that stupid tv crew. I got another call from Joe

"Hey," I said

"Okay you're on good luck son," Joe said

"Thanks," I said breathing

"Barry, after tonight, everyone;s gonna know that the Flash exists are you ready for that?" Joe asked I took a deep breath 

"I'll see you soon," I said and hung up. I saw Snat and his partner walk up. I sped out from hiding. I sped in front of the street blockage

"I can't believe you guys believe that The Flash wasn't real who the hell do you think I've been teaming up with the past couple of months!" I heard Captain America yell 

"Take a chill pill Cap" Iron-man said

"Shut up Tony" Captain replied I looked at those two

"The Scarlet Speedster," Snart said breaking me out of my trace "Any preference on how you'd like to die? The flame or the frost?" Snart asked I didn't respond "Not in the mood for chitchat gotcha," He said he powered on his gun I got ready, at the corner of my eye I saw Captain America get ready along with Iron man 

"No!" I said stopping them "This is my fight, not yours," I said

"This is my city too Flash let us help" American aid

'No! enough people have gotten hurt I don't need you to get hurt" I said then flashed off dodging every blast from both Cold and Heatwave

Steve's Pov

As we saw The Flash get ready, Tony and I got ready. The Flash turned around 

"No" he shouted "This is my fight, not yours," He said

"This is my city too Flash let us help," I said to him

"No! enough people have gotten hurt I don't need you to get hurt" He said to me then flashed off. I watched as the fight was happening. I saw The Flash get hit with the ice. He fell to the ground. I tighten my shield around my arm and tried to run out there but was stopped by Tony.

"Tony let go of me" I commanded him

"No you heard the kid he doesn't want you out there you're still injured," Tony said my blood started to boil 

"Tony he's getting injured I can't stand here and do nothing," I said slightly angry and tried to go out again but Tony grabbed my arm "Let go of me!" I shouted causing Brock to look at us.

"No Cap I won't let go you can't command me anymore I command you now," Tony said

"Since when!" I yelled

"Since you stepped down from The Avengers," Tony said

"really tony? Do you really want to start this now? fine" I spat "You barged into this city and wanted everyone to kiss your ass while you're here just because you ake weapons and suits and build headquarters doesn't make you the boss of the entire world. You're right I stepped down from The Avengers but the Avengers didn't want to listen to your stupid rules and the accords" I said

"If that was the case then how come half of the team signed it?" Tony asked "Face it Cap you went too far protecting your Winter Solider buddy thanks to your stupid protection Captain America is now rouge in New York you should thank me that I didn't have the police in Central City arrest you" Tony growled out "And I came into this city since you and Twinkle Toes don't know how to stop another speedster," He said I pushed Tony harshly 

"You don't get to call him that" I spat

"Or what you're going to beat me up, how about we go to an airport and go a few rounds hmm? I'm in my suit" Tony said. As Tony and I were arguing Eddie Brock was filming us instead of The Flash without us realizing it. I looked out into the fight and saw The Flash get taken down again. I closed my eyes not wanting to see him get hurt. 

"The fight is spreading beyond the evac area. We need to expand the perimeter' one o the policemen said

"We can't we can't let this spread," Joe said. 

"Eddie! Eddie!" I heard iris yelled I looked over and saw Eddie grab a shield that Cisco made and run out there

"Thawne!" Joe yelled  I watched as Snart and his partner get closer to the Flash, Snart fired off the gun but Eddie blocked it with his shield. That could've been me and while I shielding him Tony could've blasted Snart and his partner. The Flash grabbed Eddie and flashed hi to safety before back out on the scene. He stood there like he was thinking then all of a sudden he walked forward and Snart and his partner started to blast him with their guns. I heard him scream in pain as he kept moving forward. I didn't care what Tony and Flash said I ran out there ignoring Tony yelling at me. I ran towards Flash

"No! stay back!" he yelled before getting the middle letting the two streams of both of the guns crossing making both criminals struggle to hold their guns. I felt The Flash grab me and flash me away from them before hearing a small booming sound. Flash collapsed on top of me panting. He sat up and looked at me "That's why I told you to stay back earlier I was trying to cross the streams" He said 

"Like Ghostbusters?" I asked remembering the movie. The Flash chuckled 

"Exactly like that" He replied smiling. His smile reminded me of Barry in fact his smile just looks like his which was weird

"I dare you guys to kiss," Tony said. I looked at Tony and glared at him. The flash got off of me and flashed off to where Snart was laying, Eddie was next to The Flash with his gun drawn. The Flash flashed off I watched as that yellow/red streak disappeared fro my vide and smiled. 

After that heated fight, Tony and I were at CCPD watching Snart and his buddy get transported to prison. His buddy was going off threatening every officer before hitting one and getting tackled by some more, I shook my head. The tension between me and Tony was getting really unbearable. I didn't see Eddie Brock or his crew I guess they finally left. 

"You could've died out there, Steve," Tony said breaking the silence. I crossed my arms "If you died out there The Flash would blame himself and we both know we won't let him blame himself. Be careful next Steve please" He said before walking away I begin to walk away as well and heard what the officers said about The Flash

"...He's a hero" One said I smiled slightly to myself

"Would've been better if Captain America helped him I mean he tried but that Tony dude held him back like he's controlling him" Another one said

"He needs to back off this isn't just The Flash's city it's also Captain America's city" Another one added. 

Barry's Pov

After tonight I raced back to Joe's place and helped Iris move out her stuff completely. I watched as Iris left she flashed me a smile before getting into the truck.  I looked at Joe who was sitting on the couch watching sports

"You okay?" I asked him knowing that it was hard seeing Iris leave

"Mm-hmm," Joe said, "How about you?" He asked me

"I feel great but sad that my sister isn't here anymore for me to torture," I said causing Joe to chuckle "But the whole moving out it was bound to happen sometime right?" I asked him and Joe nodded

"Want me to order some pizza and watch The ball game?" Joe asked me

"Make it pizzas and you're on," I said chuckling  "you know if you ever need somebody to come and eat your food I'm there besides the laundry machines in my building have been broken for like...a month so," I said

"I don't know why you moved into that deathtrap in the first place since you still got a perfectly good room here," Joe said

You said you were turning it into a gym" I said

"We both know I'm not turning it into a gym," Joe said I nodded and chuckle "Besides, you got me running around enough as it is," He said

"You know, it is getting hard to hide the blasting in and out of my apartment at all hours of the night from my neighbors. I suppose it would make sense for me to move back in. I mean I am a millennial. That is what we do" I said chuckling I flashed out and flashed back in with my stuff packed I threw it off of the side "alright roomie you order the pizzas I'll unpack" I said 

"No way," Joe said gets me to sit down and handed me a beer 

"You know this does nothing to me," I said taking a sip before drinking it completely

"Just drink it," Joe said and I hummed.

3rd Person Pov

While being transported to Iron Heights, Mick was ranting about how he wanted to burn the city block down and the fact that they had an expensive painting. He blamed Snart at the fact he listened to him and followed his plan which didn't end well.

"How is that stupid plan working out for us now?" Mick asked 

"Everyone's seen the Flash now this changes everything" Snart replied before there was a booming sound and tires screeching causing Mick to jump

"What the," He asked

"Relax Mick," Snart said

"What's going on?" Mick asked

"The plan," Snart said before the door of the transport vehicle opened "Hey sis" Snart smirked
