Hello everyone, welcome to a new chapter today. I hope everyone is doing well. So in the next couple of days or so I will put this book on a small hiatus just for a little while I added something on my laptop call Grammarly it is the best I had to sign up or add my email account and with that, I want to go back to the other stories and edit and see what words I am missing or any spelling mistakes I made. So like I said in the next couple or so. If you are a writer and you don't have Grammarly please, please, add this to your computer and add your email account it is free and it detects a lot of spelling mistakes and tone I recommend it to everyone.  

So anyway now that's taken care of, in today's chapter, we will pick up on where we left off in chapter 22, Tony finds Iris and pretty much threatens, Barry, of course, shows up but he gets beat up again. Barry trains harder not knowing he is hurting himself in the process. ALSO, we are gonna have a slight Thallen (Barry x Eddie) scene where they train together but the scene is gonna be different. There is going to be a lot of flirting and Steve shows up *gasps* do I sense a Jealous Steve? yes, I do! 

So this chapter is the entire episode of 1x06.

Barry's Pov

Caitlin helped me to the hospital bed. I was groaning in pain. "I'm pretty sure I just dislocated my shoulder" I groaned out. Caitlin applies pressure on my shoulder making me yelp in pain.

"Okay not gonna lie. this is gonna be quick but extremely painful" Cailtin warned me. My phone went off and I checked to see who's calling, the caller ID said 'Eddie' 

"Oh speaking of pain-fully hot" I snicker and felt Caitlin twist my arm a bit to create pain "OW!" I shouted at her then answered the phone "Eddie hey" I said hiding the pain

"Allen, we found the stolen Humvee in the alley at Fremont and Lawrence," Eddie said over the phone "Need you down here to do your thing," He said

"Great, I'll see you in a sec," I said. Eddie hung up. I laid back on the bed "Okay let's do this" I said

"So Barry, when you said you were off-duty last night, you weren't visiting Iris again you know in disguise?" Caitlin asked me massaging my shoulder a bit getting ready to pop it back in place. "Cause that would be reckless and a little creepy," She said

"I admit I did but I only went to her to tell her to stop writing about me," I said  raising my voice a bit

"Oh I am sorry what I meant to say was, you didn't visit STEVE in disguise on your 'off-duty-' day because that would be creepy" Cailtin said. I shook my head

"No," I said

"Good," She said then all I heard was a loud popping and felt a shot of pain going up my arm to my shoulder. I yelped in pain.

Once I was released from S.T.A.R. Labs, I raced over to the crime scene in the alleyway.

"Allen, you really need a car," Eddie said greeting

"I usually manage on foot okay, what do we got?" I asked looking at the crime scene

"The rig Tony Woodward boosted last night, no sign of the stolen ATMs. Probably got those where he's holed up, though he's gonna have one of time breaking em open" Eddie said. I looked at the crime scene

"I wouldn't be so sure," I said in a whisper. 

"So..about you and Iris" Eddie brought up. I sighed, well it could've been worse he could've brought up Steve and I "I felt some strange tension between you and her," He said

"Look, Eddie, we had a fight and I just don't really feel comfortable talking about it with you or anyone else," I said

"I get that, and I get that you two go way back, To be honest, I was a little threatened by you at first," Eddie said. I looked at hi

"You were threatened by me?" I asked

"Sure. I mean, I've seen how close you two are" Eddie said sounding like I have some crush on her or something. I gave Eddie a weird look

"She's my sister well adoptive but still," I said

"I know, Allen," Eddie said. "You're a good guy and from my experience, good friends are hard to find," He said

"Detective, excuse me. Sir, we ran the plates on that Humvee" An officer came by 

I was looking at the crime scene closely while Eddie was looking at the plates we found.

"So what do you think?" Eddie asked

"Judging by the mud and kets I'd say he got hammered, stole a big-ass truck and went joyriding" I explained

"I bet the keys are stolen too," Eddie said. I looked at the keys

"Rusty Iron Ale, it's a micro-brewed right over..." I trailed trying to think of a place 

"Keystone, I know the place. Let's check it out" Eddie said. I nodded. 

Steve's Pov

I was on the same old rooftop I usually hang out at, overlooking the city to see if there is crime nearby or waiting to see The Flash, I haven't seen or heard from him after getting beat up by that metahuman.

Speaking of not hearing anything, I haven't heard ANYTHING from Barry and it's really pissing me off all I did was ask Barry a simple question and it's taking him days to answer, Iris said that he was at work the other day when she visited Eddie, she said that Barry and Eddie are working together on a case, oh so they are working together now hm? If I remember correctly Barry has a crush on Eddie, and it seems to me Eddie is getting closer and closer to Barry.

Thinking about Barry and Eddie made my blood boil. I clutched onto my shield tightly, I saw a blur zoom past to an alleyway not that far from here, it's good to know that The Flash is okay. I checked my phone for the 10th time and saw no messages. I sighed in frustration then I thought of something. What if I just go to his working place and see what's up? I went back to my place to dress in some normal clothing and drove to CCPD. I walked in and saw Officers pacing around. I looked around and was greeted by Joe. Joe came towards me

"Hey, Steve what's up?" He asked me

"Hey, Detective West-"

"You can call me Joe," Joe said cutting me off

"Oh okay Joe, Have you see Barry? I haven't heard from him in a while and with this new steel-metahuman out there I'm afraid he's going to get hurt" I said

"Barry is currently at a crime scene, he and Eddie are working on that meta-human case right now," Joe said

"So I've been told," I said sighing "Well, tell him that I came to see if he's okay," I said and got ready to walk off when Joe stopped

"Hey, Steve!" He called after me and placed a gentle hand on my shoulder "You know he does talk about you a lot" He said. I looked at him

"Well I'm beginning to find that hard to believe," I said

"He does," Joe said seriously "And he hardly ever talks about anybody that he likes or is friends with, you are special to him every time he sees you he is happy for some reason and right now he's in a tough place he met up with someone again who turns out to be his bully and got beat up, him and Iris aren't talking and-" I quickly cut him off

"Whoa whoa! Barry got beat up?" I asked alerted now.

"Yeah but it's okay we got everything taken care of," Joe said. I was shocked "In case you are wondering why he hasn't texted you back," Joe said.

"Detective West I need your help" An officer came by

"Steve I have to get going, don't worry son, Barry is okay," Joe said patting me on the back and walked off. I didn't know what to do, my gut was telling me to track the bully guy down and stop him but the other part of me wanted to find Barry and see if he's okay myself. I watched as Joe was pacing around helping the officers. I went towards him

"Hey Detective W- Joe" I cleared my throat to grab his attention

"Yeah what is it?" He asked

"Need any help?" I asked looking at the officers around him

"Um, how are you on filing some cases and evidence?" He asked

"Pretty good," I said remembering my days in S.H.E.I.L.D

"Great why don't you let the captain know that you are volunteering," Joe said

(A/N: I don't know if that's how police and detective stuff works but roll with it alright? He's a trusted friend that can file cases and crap lol)

I nodded at Joe and went to the captain's office. Maybe I should work here completely, I can be a hero and I guess a detective too who says heroes can't have 2 jobs? I got approved by the Captain and went to work.

"Hey Steve deal with the files that are on my desk I have to run a quick errand," Joe said handing me files of the current case while he was holding a file that seemed to be years old

"Yeah sure" I replied with a smile

"Thank you," Joe said and walked off. I watched as Joe walked off, I couldn't help but be curious about the old case file he was holding. 

Barry's POV (Bouncing between povs' again I apologize) 

Just our luck! one guy that knows about Tony took off running. I watched as Eddie chased after the guy, I looked around to make sure nobody was watching and I zoomed off to the spot where the guy was running at. I stood there and made everything go in slow motion then I looked at Eddie, then everything went back to normal and I got punched in the face. WHAT IS UP WITH ME GETTING PUNCHED! Eddie tackled the guy to the ground and slapped the handcuffs on the guy

"Allen, you okay?" Eddie asked

"Oh, never better," I said rubbing my jaw

"Get up!" Eddie said

"I didn't do nothing man!" The guy said that's what every single criminal says

"So why'd you run?" Eddie asked

"Look it was an accident!" the guy cried out

"What was?" Eddie asked

"Tony falling okay?" The guy said. I stood there and listened to the guy speak.  "But I swear to God, we didn't kill him," He said

"Keep talking," Eddie said

"About ten months ago, Keystone Ironworks boss is handing out pink slips, tony gets his and he just snapped." The guy explained "He started beating the crap out of the guy. We pulled him off and then the lights went out. Some kind of power surge and then Tony went over the railing right into a vat of molten scrap..just gone" The guy described the particle accelerator explosion. 

"Lucky for you he's still alive," Eddie said

"What?" The guy asked in surprised 

"How'd you get in front of us?" Eddie asked me

"Shortcut" I lied. 

I flashed back to S.T.A.R. Labs to see if they got anything.

"Barry! check it out! the gravel you pulled from Tony's ride?" Cisco asked and I nodded "It contains 76.8% hematite. Consistent with the mines at Keystone Ironworks. Which closed down ten months ago, it's the perfect hideout" Cisco said

"Barry, do you mind telling me about this?" Caitlin asked showing me Iris's blog...welp...busted "I have info about someone you are looking for he was here. you know where to find me. Now, who could she be talking to?" She asked a little angry. I ignored Caitlin's remark and flashed over to Jitters.

"I guess you got my message," Iris said

"Are you okay?" I asked her

"Cop's daughter, I can handle myself," Iris said 

"Not with this guy," I said 

"I knew him when we were kids He didn't want to hurt me. He wanted to impress me but he is fixated on you and not in a good way" Iris said warning me. 

"Do you know where he went?" I asked

"He said he had a place out in west Keystone," She said "Bragged about how big it was but I have no idea where"

"I do," I said and was about to flash away

"Wait!" She yelled stopping me "there's something else, his hand. It transformed like an iron fist. He's like you isn't he?" She asked

"Yes and writing about me is what brought him to you," I said 

"I know but maybe I could talk-" I quickly cut her off

"No! he's too dangerous" I shouted. I heard someone knocked on the glass and saw 2 cops waiting outside

"Damn, that's my ride," Iris said. I sped off while she was talking. I hurried over to Keystone, I was pissed off, at Tony and Iris, I warned her about dangerous people tracking her down but she won't listen. She was lucky to be alive tonight.

"Barry, talk to us. What are you doing?" Caitlin asked me through coms

"Dude, don't run angry we don't know how to defeat him yet," Cisco said. I flashed into the hideout. I looked around

"This is the place," I said looking around 

"You're trespassing freak" I heard Tony yelled and turn to metal...ah shit. I looked around trying to find an escape plan but couldn't "There's nowhere left to run" He said I started to get beat up again.

Today is National Beat the shit out of Barry! 

Steve's Pov

I saw Eddie bring someone in who was connected to the Woodward case.

"Oh hey Steve you just missed Barry," Eddie said. 

"Of course I did," I said shaking my head.

"He had to run an errand but we caught this guy who is connected to the Woodward" Eddie said. "Why are there cases on Joe's desk?" He asked

"Oh I volunteer to help out I saw that you guys were busy so I figured I help out," I said with a  smile. Eddie handed the guy off to the officer

"That's great! we could use a lot of help around here" Eddie said "Maybe you should consider working here, you and Barry would be like partners" He said. I nodded, I'm considering it, I can imagine working with Barry.

"How is Barry? I heard that he met an old 'friend' of his and got beat up?" I asked Eddie had a weird look on his face

"I don't remember hearing that Barry got beat up by someone but that guy over there did punch Barry when we were chasing him," Eddie said. 

"hmm. Joe told me he ran into an old bully from school and got beat up" I said

"Yeah I didn't hear about that, that sucks, bullies suck," Eddie said

I hear ya" I said

"You've been bullied before?" Eddie asked

"Loads of times, back in the day they would bully me about my height, weight, I was very skinny back then, then I decided to join the army and here I am" I explained remembering those times before the serum. I remember Bucky coming to save me.

"wow I never imagined you getting bullied I mean...look at you, buff as hell for a moment there I thought YOU were a bully back then" Eddie joked. I smiled

"No, I'm not like that," I said

"I know, you're a good man Steve, Barry is lucky to have you in his life," Eddie said flashing me a smile before walking. I sighed and filed another case file. 

This day seems to drag on and on. 

Barry's Pov (Sorry guys)

I was back at S.T.A.R. Labs getting my ass chewed by the team, while they were yelling, Cisco came up with a theory on how to defeat tony. 

"Factoring in the metal's tensile strength, estimated dermal thickness, atmospheric pressure, air temp and you have to hit at approximately... Mach 1.1." Cisco explained

"You want Barry to hit something at 800 miles an hour?" Caitlin asked

"837 actually," Cisco said

"That's faster than the speed of sound," Caitlin said. 

"I know," Cisco said "He would create a sonic boom which as I've said before would be awesome," He said excitedly 

"I've never gone that fast," I said a little scared

"Yet," Dr. Wells said

"I can't believe we're actually entertaining this idea," Caitlin said "I mean he'd need a straight shot from miles away yeah, 5.3 miles theoretically"

"Do it right, you'll take him down" Cisco said

"Do it wrong, you'll shatter every bone in your body" Caitlin said. I gulped. Not gonna lie what Caitlin had said me scared the crap out of me, so basically if I do it wrong I would die. I decided to head back to CCPD to see what's up and I was greeted by Joe.

"Barry" He called to me

"Joe, I've been beaten up enough for one day, I gotta-" Joe cut me off

"Hey, wait," Joe said "An anonymous tip led us to Tony Woodward's hideout, the place was trashed. What happened?" He asked. I sighed

"He showed up at Jitters to see Iris. I had to go after him" I said

"Iris, where is she?" He asked

"She's fine, she's fine," I said calming Joe down "Eddie put a detail her to be safe," I said I sighed, "I thought I could handle him this time. I tried" I said feeling powerless and useless

"Look, I know what this punk put you through, but you can't let emotion cloud your judgment," Joe said. At this moment, Eddie walked in

"The tollbooth camera got a shot of Woodward. Stolen car headed out of town, state police are taking over we lost him" Eddie said in frustration. 

"Don't worry Eddie, they'll get him" I said to him

"I wanted to take this guy down," Eddie said

"Not half as much as I did" I whispered

"Let's go, Allen," Eddie said taking off his coat.

"go where?" I asked 

"Blow off some steam, I need to hit something," He said and walked upstairs

"What?" I asked pouting looking at Joe like 'wha-why me" 

"I don't think he meant to hit you, go," Joe said. I walked upstairs. I saw Eddie take of his overshirt all he was wearing was pants and a white tank top, his muscles were exposed, I couldn't help but stare. 

"So I heard you and this Woodward guy have a history, Joe might've told me," Eddie said punching the punching bag I was holding. I sighed "Hey Allen, it's okay, trust me I had my fair share of bullies at school," He said

"Yeah, somehow I find that hard to believe," I said. Eddie continued to punch the bag.

"I was short, fat, and the son of a politician who closed the factory in my school district so not so popular," He said

"So what'd you do about it?" I asked

"I got my ass kicked, a lot until my gym coach took pity of me, she said the key to fighting is patience," He said. I nodded at him. For a moment there I thought I saw him bite his lip. I was trying not to blush. "Here, a lot of guys waste energy trying to land the most punches, all it takes is one, but you got to make it count," Eddie said handing me the gloves. Eddie held onto the punching bag, I got into position "Choose your spot and drive through it like it's six inches behind your target" He said. I punched the bag 

"Harder," He said in a low tone, almost seductive. I gulped and punched the bag harder this time "Harder!" he shouted at me. I punched the bag so hard my fist phased through the bag and accidentally punched Eddie. 

"The seam was starting to split," I said to him "You okay?" I asked him. He was busy catching his breath he looked up and me and chuckled. For a few minutes, Eddie taught me everything I need to know how to punch somebody. It was like he was training me. I was sweating and panting 

"Nice Allen," Eddie said smiling. I continued to punch at the gloves Eddie was wearing. Not gonna lie, this is pretty fun, training with my sister's boyfriend who seems to be flirting with me, yeah this is fun. But I kinda wished this is Steve teaching me all of this and not Eddie. "you're doing great Allen, next time work on your speed" He said

I chuckled "yeah I'll do my best," I said

"We should do this again, you know to come up here when we have nothing to do and just...train," Eddie said 

"Yeah that would be fun," I said smiling. I felt Eddie staring at me, I looked at him and blushed slightly

"I have to admit you're adorable Barry," Eddie said. I was about to say something when someone walked in

"Eddie I just got word that the unit wat- Barry?" Steve asked

"Steve? what are you doing here this is a surprise" I said

"Yeah..clearly it is a surprise," Steve said looking at us weird. I realized me and Eddie were standing very close to each other. I cleared my throat "I'm volunteering to help sort out cases and what not but that's important, Eddie the unit watching Iris were attacked, Iris is missing" Steve said

Me and Eddie looked at each other then Eddie ran out. I was about to follow when I felt a strong hand grab my arm preventing me from going anywhere. His grip was strong, he was squeezing my arm, not in a fun way.

"What's up with you two?" He asked

"Nothing uh he and I were just training, I don't know if you heard but I met up with a bully from my-" I was cut off by Steve

"From your school yeah I know Joe told me, you know what the hell is the point of me giving you my number if you're not going to call or text me, I heard about this meta-human and texted you to see if you were okay come to find out you weren't!" Steve shouted. I saw the worriedness in his eyes mixed in with some anger and....jealously?

"Steve...I'm fine," I said slightly scared, I felt his grip tighten again, my arm was turning red slightly "Steve," I said calmly, my voice broke the anger away in his eyes, he realized what he was doing and quickly let go of me. 

"Sorry" Steve apologized

"No, I'm sorry, I've been busy and yes I wasn't fine, after seeing Tony I was scared that he would find a way to come after you and I know you can defend yourself but this dude is...different he is strong, stronger than you Steve, last thing I need was to see you hurt" I said to him. He looked at me with hurt in his eyes

"You caring about me is what's getting you hurt Barry, I won't be able to live with myself if something bad happened to you," Steve said 

"I can take of myself Steve, see that punching bag there, I punched a hole through it," I said pointing at the broken punching bag.  "I have to go and see if I can help find Iris I'll text you tonight Steve," I said and walked out leaving him in my lab.  I contacted S.T.A.R. Labs to see if they can track Iris which they are trying to do. I heard an officer shout out the possible location Iris, Carmichael Elementary, the school Iris and I went to. Someone pulled the fire alarm in the school alerting the fire department, I have a feeling Iris did that, smart girl. 

"Go!" Joe said to me and I walked out of the building and flashed off I looked next to me and saw Captain speeding next to me, he's going to get hurt this fight is mine.

"Forgive me Captain" I shouted at him

"What?!" He asked. I sped in front of him and pop one of the wheels off of his motorcycle. Captain flew forward but I caught him and set him down gently 

"This fight is mine, I know this meta-human personally let me take care of this" I said 

"You can't run in blind you could get hurt kid" Captain said

"It's too dangerous, if I get hurt I can heal fast, you can't," I said "Stay here it's safer" I flashed off. 

"Cause I'm not going down without a fight" Tony said to Iris

"Good cause you just found one," I said 

"You just won't stay dead. Come to save your little fangirl?" Tony asked

"This is between us, let her go," I said and looked at Iris to see if she was hurt which she wasn't thank god.  

"Oh, I could but I'd rather make her watch while I break every bone in your body," Tony said and turned to steel. I flashed around him and punched him "Aah!" he shouted

"Too slow tin man", I said "I've known guys like you peaked in high school, never got over it. All these powers and look at you! bully then bully now" I said, perhaps I said too much because Iris gave me a weird look. I was kinda distracted and didn't see tony punch me. I fell to the ground and Tony kept punching me. I remember what Joe use to say to me whenever I would get into a fight

"If you do come up against somebody you know you can't beat be smart, it's okay to run the other way" 

I took a deep and flashed out. I flashed miles away, I even stopped where Captain was

"Flash, what happened? Where's Iris?" he asked

"She's fine, I have a plan just stand back," I said I looked at my mark and I saw I was 5.3 miles away, enough miles to do that punch Cisco suggested

"Barry! Wait!" I heard Caitlin shout

"Good luck kid," Captain said and backed up.

"He's gonna do it!" I heard Cisco shouted. I started to run, as I was running I grew faster and faster "Go man go!" Cisco shouted. I ran so fast I practically flew inside o the school and punched  Tony.

There was a sonic boom and I flew against the lockers.

"SUPERSONIC PUNCH BABY!" I heard Cisco shout in the earpiece. I was laying there was my broken hand or my broken arm I don't know anymore all I know is that something is broken. Tony was stumbled slightly then got punched in the face by Iris

"Nice cross" I said to her

"Yeah, I think I broke my hand" Iris said. I chuckled

"Oh me too" I said. I heard panting sounds coming inside the building, it was Captain America "Hey Cap" I said to him

"You alright kid?" He asked me

"Ah yes aches and pains nothing new," I said standing up. Captain helped Iris up 

"Are you okay?" He asked Iris, Iris nodded "What are we going to do about him?" He asked looking at Tony

"Leave that to me," I said and grabbed Tony and was about to zoom off

"HEY! You better fix my bike first" Captain said

"Oh right," I said and flashed off fixed his bike then flashed Captain out and on his bike, I flashed Iris by the cop cars before grabbing Tony and flashed to S.T.A.R. Labs and threw his metal ass in the pipeline.  Moments later, Tony woke up

"Hey! What is this?" He shouted banging on the glass. I was standing in the shadow with my mask down

"Somewhere you'll never hurt anyone ever again," I said

"Who the hell do you think you are?" He asked me

"You know who I am" I said and stepped out of the shadow revealing myself

"Allen?" Tony asked in shocked

"The thing that happened to you, tony, happened to me too. But it didn't just give us abilities it made us more of who we are, you got strong, I got fast, fast enough to beat you. You used your gift to hurt people not anymore" I said and turned away and walked off

"Allen!" Allen! don't walk away from me!" He shouted banging on the glass, I smirked to myself when the door closed. I did a victory punch and hurt myself

"OW god!" I shouted 

"That had to feel great" Cisco said

"You have no idea," I said chuckling. We walked together and Cisco was talking about me taking down his bully, so did Caitlin. I decided to visit Iris and she was busy doing something when she heard me walk in.

"Hi, oh I thought you were someone else," She said not exactly happy to see me. Cut me some slack Iris I got my ass beat today

"So Joe told me what happened, how's your hand?" I asked

"Not broken so that's something I should have believed... I'm sorry I said-" I quickly cut off Iris

"I've missed you," I said to her

"Yeah I've missed you too" She said

"When I heard Tony took you I..I just don't know what I would do if anything happened to you," I said

"Well my guardian angel's looking out for me," Iris said, either she was talking about The Streak or Eddie

"Do you want to hang out and catch up?" I asked

"Yeah, I would like that yeah, I promise not to talk about The Streak tonight," She said

"No, I want you to. No I mean, I want...you can" I said stuttering like an idiot "You can talk about whatever you want," I said

"Good cause I know there are others like him like recently there was a post about a burning man or a guy dressed in a spider costume swinging around a  city in Queens," Iris said "I tried to ask The Streak questions but he won't answer them like how does he do what he does? Literally with this super-speed power when he moves Barry, you don't even see him he comes and goes in the blink of an eye in a..." 

"Flash?" I asked

"In a flash...yeah," Iris said getting an idea for the official name of me. 

I walked out of Jitters and texted Steve finally letting him know that I'm okay and so is Iris. I saw Iris grab her computer and type. I smiled and flashed off. 

3rd Person pov

In the city of Queens, Peter Parker was working on a DVD player he found on the side of the street when his phone rang. He picked it up and saw who was calling. He answered

"Hey, Ned, what's up?" He asked

"Have you seen Iris West's updated blog?" He asked

"No, I haven't why?" Peter asked

"Look it up, she changed The Streak's name," Ned said. Peter logged onto his computer and looked up Iris's blog. He smiled when he saw the latest blog.

"Saved by The Flash" Peter read the title

"Pretty cool huh? He's officially a well-known hero here in New York" Ned said

"Yeah it is cool" Peter said reading the description

Over by S.H.E.I.L.D headquarters, Nick Fury's laptop chimed notifying of the lastest blog about The Streak.

Fury looked read the blog and smiled at the title.

"Keep up the good work...Flash" Fury said before logging off on his laptop, Fury smiled to himself knowing there was another hero out there in the world bringing hope to his city.

Meanwhile, Joe west was at home looking over the evidence of Nora Allen's murder. After interviewing Dr. Wells several times and learning more about his private life, something didn't add up.
