It's been a day since the fiasco happened. Monami was feeling okey now but because of that incident, she has stopped talking unnecessarily. Gauri was worried about her so, she talked to Karan about it. He was also worried about her sudden silence but he knew that she'll recover somehow.

It was noon and he was sitting in his study room, working on his laptop. He took out that pendrive and plugged it in. He was about to open the folder but suddenly, he looked at the CCTV footage, in which, Monami was trying to sneak in his study room without comming into anyone's sight.

He smiled and got up from his place. He went to the door and stood taking the support of the wall. He was ready to welcome her and she came. She looked inside his room like a spy but found no one so, she entered inside and at that time, he closed the door and pinned her to the door.

Without giving her any prior warning, he kissed her urgently as if he was waiting to do just that for days. She responded him, putting her hands around his neck. After a while, she broke the kiss and pushed him away a little lightly. She asked...

Monami (Astonishingly) - Ye kya tha, Karan? Agar koi aa jaata to?

Karan (Cupping her chin) - Still you kissed me back...!!!

Monami (Hitting his chest lightly) - Shut up, Karan... Aur tumhe kaise pata ke vo Maan hi hai?

Monami (Looking at the screen) - Tum Kiya ki pendrive dekh rahe ho?

He nodded his head and played the video of his sister.

Kiya (Sadly smiling) - Agar aap ye video dekh rahe hai Bhaiyya, to yaane meri dost Monu ne aap tak meri pendrive pohocha di hai aur... (Taking a deep breathe) Aur main zinda nahi bachi.

Mujhe pata hai ke aap sab... Aap, Monu aur Maan teeno hi kafi dukhi hoge mere jaane se but meri death ko ek sacrifice hi samajh lo, ya fir humare khandaan ke bete se kiye gaye gunaho ka bhugtaan.

Jab main yaha padhne aayi thi to mere koi dost nahi the aur fir Monu meri dost bani, meri best friend ban gayi. Mujhe maaf karde yaar, Monu. Agar tu bhi mere Bhaiyya ke sath bethi hai to tujhe zaroor mujhe marte hue dekhna pada hoga. Mere Karan Bhaiyya pe bharosa rakhna, vo tujhe kuch nahi hone dege.

(Hearing that, Monami got emotional and started to shade tears silently and both the boys were also feeling very emotional. Karan held her hand gently.)

Anyways, Monu tujhe yaad hai, jab hum University me padh rahe the tab humne kuch ladkiyon ko bachaya tha, jo women trafficking ka shikar hui thi?

Uske pichhe Vikram Bhaiyya ka haath tha, Monu. Vo Karan Bhaiyya se nafrat karte hai aur isiliye vo un sab cheezo me deal karte hai, jinko Karan Bhaiyya galat maante hai.

(Scoffing at herself) Aur mujhe laga tha ke mere unse baat karne se sab thik ho jayega. Main unse itne saalo me pehli baar milne gayi. Magar unhone mujhse ye keh diya ke vo mujhe maar dalege, agar maine unke kaam me tang adana bandh nahi kiya to.

Mujhe pata tha ke vo sach keh rahe hai. Par main apne zameer ko maar nahi sakti thi. Maine apni tarah se investigation shuru ki. Maan ki madad li thi maine, Bhaiyya... But use ye nahi pata ke usne kisliye meri madad ki thi. Usne puchha bhi tha but maine use nahi bataya.

(Maan stood near Monami with tears in his eyes)

Mujhe maaf kar dena, Maan. Maine bahot brutally tumhara dil toda tha, tumhe hurt kiya tha. Par main jaanti thi ke main jo karne jaa rahi hu, usme khatra hai aur meri jaan bhi jaa sakti hai. Isliye main chahti thi ke tum mujhse nafrat karo, taaki mere marne ka tumpe koi asar na pade. Mujhe maaf kardo. Maine sabke baare me socha, bas tumhare baare me hi nahi socha.

Karan Bhaiyya, please meri Monu ka dhyan rakhna aur Maan ka bhi. Vo dono bilkul ek jaise hai... (Giggling a little) Kabhi kabhi to lagta tha ke dono bichhde hue bhai behen hi hai. Dono dikhate bahot hai ke vo strong hai but andar se vo dono hi bahot masoom hai... (Sadly) Jab tak ye video aap tak pohochega, main bahot dur jaa chuki hougi.

Karan Bhaiyya, thank you, mera ab tak dhyan rakhne ke liye aur Maa ko bhi meri taraf se sorry keh dijiyega. Mujhe laga tha ke vo sirf aap hi ko maanti hai aur Vikram Bhaiyya ke sath bahot unfair hai. Par jab unki sachai mere samne aayi to mujhe khud sharmindagi mehsoos hone lagi.

Please, apna aur Maa ka dhyan rakhiyega... (Giggling a bit) Aur shaadi bhi kar lijiyega, varna buddhe hi maroge aap...!!! Khaskar Monu ko sambhaliyega. Mujhe pata hai, mere sath rehne ki wajah se usne bahot kuch kho diya hoga ab tak to. Aap strong ho, sambhal jaoge.

Vaise to meri Monu bhi aapse kam nahi hai. Dekhna, vo aapko milegi na to use ye pata hoga ke aap ek Mafia Leader ho, fir bhi aapse ladne se chukegi nahi vo...!!! And Maan... I love you...!!! Main tumse kabhi alag nahi hona chahti thi, par shayad yahi meri niyati hai. Goodbye guys aur hamesha khush rehna...!!!

Trio had tears in their eyes. Monami was sad to loose her best friend. Maan was sad to loose his only friend and the love of his life. Karan was sad and angry to loose his baby sister whom he loved very much and still loves her. He had tears in his eyes but those tears mostly held his anger in them.
