'Minhyung. I want you to protect those two instead of fighting with us. With your abilities, you can sufficiently protect them and yourself. We don't know how powerful these guys are, and we can't risk you getting hurt, or worse'

I can't argue with Renjun's reasoning.

As demons, we have exemplary regeneration skills. Even if we lose a body part, we can easily create a new one in a matter of minutes.

The only things that can kill demons are ghouls, Nichirin blades, sunlight, wisteria flowers, and the King and Queen. However, if a demon is strong enough, they can kill other demons, especially by eating them.

'Right. I'm on it. Good luck'

Once the others commenced their attack on the ghouls, I teleported to the two demons and introduced myself.

"Hi there. My name is Minhyung. I'm one of the Seven Demon Princes of Hell, and my sin is Pride. I'm here to protect you two while the others take the ghouls down. Would you two mind introducing yourselves, to make things easier?"

They both nodded.

"My name is Shotaro. I'm a Blood Demon"

"My name is Sungchan, a-and I'm a Blindfold Demon..."

Sungchan was the one tied up, while Shotaro wasn't.

Blindfold Demons are also known as Manipulation Demons. They can use their Blood Demon Art on paper talismans for various effects. They can manipulate the sight and presence of anyone and anything. And they can control the minds of anyone, whether they're human, ghoul, or demon.

Blood Demons are also known as Bewitchment Demons. By drawing their own blood, they can bewitch those around them in various ways. They can bring about visual hallucinations, as well as make anyone confess their lies and secrets against their will.

If they had gotten turned into ghouls before we got here, we would've definitely had a problem on our hands.

I noticed that Sungchan was uncomfortable, so I sharpened one of my nails to cut the ropes.

"Wait... Please don't..."

He pleaded, confusing me.

"Unlike Shotaro-hyung, my hunger is starting to get to me more than before. If you untie me, I just might try to kill one of you..."

More tears ran down his face and he held his head down.

"Actually, you two are in luck"

I whispered, capturing their interest.

"Before we came up here, some of us got some food from one of the shops outside, human Sweetbread to be exact. I hid mine before I came up here, and there's enough for both of you to turn back to normal"

"But, is it really alright? It is your food. We wouldn't want to eat it if you wanted it for later..."

Shotaro whispered back.

"It's totally fine. This food can be replaced. You two, on the other hand, can't be replaced. You're one of a kind, and we're here to save you no matter the cost. Please just eat it for me"

I had ten pieces left, so I could easily split it half ways for them.

I put my shield up behind us, to ensure that nothing harmed them. I gave Shotaro his five, and I helped Sungchan eat his five.

The moment they started eating it, they both started changing back to normal. By the time they finished eating, they returned to their normal selves, and I successfully untied Sungchan without him resisting.

Shotaro had galaxy purple eyes and horns, and a dark purple tail with a pink tip. His hair also changed from black to grey.

Sungchan had all blue eyes, galaxy blue horns, and a dark blue tail. His hair remained the same dark burgundy color.

"I'm so glad that you guys are better now..."

I smiled.

"We're better now only thanks to you"

"Hyung is right. We'll help you and the others in any way that we can"

They smiled, holding my hands.

They didn't look half as scared as they did before now. I'm happy to see that they're this interested in helping us.

"Wrath!!!"

We heard Kun yell.

We peaked from behind my shield and saw that Renjun's head had been completely blown off!

Apparently, his head was squeezed by one of the ghoul's kagune, and the pressure made his head explode.

One of ghoul's kagune was a mix of red, green, and purple, while the other was dark red and black.

The one that got Renjun was the red and black one.

His body collapsed to the ground, but Yukhei quickly rushed him over to us for protection.

"W-Will Renjunie be ok...?"

Yukhei worriedly asked.

"Yeah, he'll be fine. Luckily, it wasn't me. If it was, all seven of us would've been affected"

"Oh..."

Shotaro and Sungchan calmed him down a bit, since he was scared after seeing Renjun get hurt so badly.

But not even a few minutes later, his head already started growing back!

Not even a minute later, his head completely regenerated to the way it was before, hair and all.

However, by the look on his face, he definitely seemed enraged by what happened.

"I'm so glad that you're alright Renjun..."

I hugged him, and he instantly calmed down, hugging me back.

"I just thought of an idea"

Sungchan spoke up, gathering our attention.

"Hyung and I can help you guys win this fight. I can place two of my talismans on your foreheads, and that'll enable you both to see their movements and take them down. If you leave one of them alive for a little while, then hyung can use his ability to make them tell you where other ghouls could be hiding. You might even be able to find out who their leader is too"

"Sungchan is right. If we can get this plan to work, then it'll only benefit us in the future"

Shotaro agreed.

'Donghyuck. Come here for a second'

Renjun ordered.

Almost instantly, Hyuck teleported over to us, looking a bit exhausted.

"Minhyung, you'll remain here with these two and Yukhei. Donghyuck and I will be the ones to help the others end this, while you protect them"

Renjun ordered, and I nodded.

Sungchan silently used his Blood Demon Art on two blank talismans. Identical symbols appeared on them, and when he let them go, they flew onto the their foreheads.

In an instant, their eyes widened and they looked back at the two ghouls. From the look in their eyes, I'm guessing that they can see their movements before they happen now.

They immediately left us and began fighting them with the others. And miraculously, they were winning without a problem now!

"Fifth Sin Technique..."

Renjun's arm started turning black as he powered up another one of his techniques.

When his arm turned completely black, he impaled his hand into the ghoul with the red and black kagune's chest, causing him to freeze.

"Void of Rage"

When he pulled his hand out, a red void instantly appeared from inside of the ghoul's torso, ripping him to shreds as it sucked him into the void.

"Takeda!!"

The other ghoul yelled.

He tried attacking Renjun and Donghyuck again out of rage, but he failed miserably, and this time Hyuck was the one to attack him.

"Sixth Sin Technique..."

Hyuck closed his eyes, and two more eyes appeared on his hands, each eye having pupils with omnidirectional arrows.

He suddenly started laughing a little bit, and he had quite a playful smirk on his face as the eyes locked on to the ghoul.

"All-Seeing Eyes of Rapacity~"

The eyes suddenly snapped shut, and all of the ghoul's limbs, except for his head, completely dislodged themselves from his body.

All that the ghoul was left with now was his torso and head, as he yelled out in pain.

As I made my shield disappear, Chenle angrily waltzed up to the ghoul, and roughly held him up by his hair.

"Now that we've got you cornered, you're going to answer a few questions for us. First off, what's your full name, as well as your buddy's full name?"

He angrily asked.

"...I'm Tamashiro Seiichi, and my friend was Takeda Satoshi"

He answered.

"Good. Now, how many other ghouls are out there causing trouble? And just where are they hiding?"

"I thought it would obvious that we're all over the place. We're not picky about our hiding places. We reside anywhere from here, to all the way on Earth. It doesn't matter to us"

Chenle slapped him, because of the little attitude that he had while answering his question.

"I'll ask one more question. Who is your leader, and where is he hiding out?"

"Damn it... Are you crazy?! Why did you have to ask me that of all questions?! If I told you that he was hiding out at The Prism Globe, then Lord Wonho would kill me! Do you think I wanna die by his hand?! I'd rather die any other way!!"

Tamashiro's eyes widened, and he suddenly went pale after his little outburst.

At first we thought that he would resist telling us anything at all, but then he just suddenly confessed the truth???

"Great work hyung~"

Sungchan proudly whispered.

I looked over to him and Shotaro, and my suspicions were correct. Shotaro had cut himself, and a colorful smoke with a lovely aroma filled the room.

"N-No... W-Wait! I didn't mean it!! I couldn't help it!! I'm sorry!! P-Please forgive m-"

Before Tamashiro could finish his pleading, he suddenly exploded, without a single scrap of him being left behind.

Though he had successfully been destroyed, that explosion also managed to take out Chenle's entire forearm.

He silently winced from the pain, but he didn't make a big deal out of it.

"Lele? Are you ok??"

Jisung worriedly asked, immediately rushing to his side.

"..."

Chenle was silent for a few seconds, but only to concentrate on making his forearm grow back.

Once he succeeded, he turned to face Jisung and smiled a bit.

"I'm fine. Don't worry. But what was that explosion about???"

"No idea..."

Renjun mumbled.

Not even Taeil had an answer to what just happened. But Ten seemed to have figured something out.

"It must've had something to do with that Wonho guy that he mentioned. You all saw when he started freaking out and apologizing after revealing his name and location. That must've been considered some kind of instant death penalty"

He explained.

"I see... So if any ghoul that's under him gives anyone any kind of information about him, then they'll instantly pay with their lives"

Jeno analyzed.

"Not like it did any good. In the end, we still know his name and location. Now we can go after him and end this, once and for all"

Renjun stated, removing his talisman.

"But first we should all get some rest. It would only bring about disaster if we went after him right now. And besides, we still have to get Shotaro and Sungchan back to Franta, and inform the King and Queen about our mission. So, let's head home for the time being"

I advised, and everyone agreed.

We made sure that our cloaks were on before making our way out of the clock tower. We may have completed the mission successfully, but...

There's still a matter that I'd like to discuss with the others, and especially with the King and Queen.

I wanna know...

What did Taeyong mean when he said that he didn't want to see the sins destroyed again?? We were the first to be born from the seven sins, weren't we?

If not, then... What happened to the ones before us? And, how did they die? But more importantly...

Why hasn't anyone told us...?
