I didn't speak much with Abir today as in the starting only I asked him a wrong question. ' aur me Jo biwi hu uska Kya' I don't know how it came out of my mouth.

I was excited to see Abir's reaction after seeing Nanu and massi. And it was as expected.

He cracked jokes while talking which itself was an proof to show how happy he was. I was smiling as my plan worked. He is really happy.

Kuhu insisted that she will take cake to the hall, as she is going to be the daughter-in-law of this house I didn't feel like saying no to her.

I was confused when should I give him his gift in front of everyone or in our room?

After thinking for an decade I decided to give him gift in our room.

Soon we all headed to have dinner. He immediately smiled seeing the dishes. Everyone was praised me for my cooking skills. This time I didn't want Abir to compliment me as his reaction is enough for me.

I made Massi and Nanu sit beside him as I know they are meeting after long time. Kunal told me about the special bond these 3 share.

Once we reached our room I gave him his gift. I was not that will he like it or not?

He was staring at the frame with a small smile on his face which told me that he liked it.

He praised my cooking skills and I went to have a shower.

While taking it I thought he should sleep with nanu. Then what about me? I will sleep with Ketu. It's nice idea.

Coming out of washroom I told him same and he agreed.

I slept with Ketu while he went to Nanu's room.

I got up with hearing the ring of alarm.

Went to our room took a quick shower. Did all the works I do daily. I was surprised to see that this brothers are still sleeping I thought to not disturb them as they might have slept late.

Everyone was sleeping Maa , ketu, Massi, brothers and nanu. Only I am awake like an owl.

Then even I thought to take a nap so I went to Ketki's room and slept beside her.

After an hour alarm ringed, waking up I saw ketu was still sleeping.

Going out I thought others might be awake but only Maa and Massi were awake.

As I already made breakfast we three had it and I left for office.

Reaching office I started my work.

I was so engrossed in work that I didn't know when lunch break started.
It was because of Nishant I realized he came and said the setup for meeting is ready which is after lunch break.

Taking out my lunch box I switched to my private sim and saw that Ketu has sent me some pics. I was waiting for all pics to get downloaded. A smile crept on my face as I looked at the pictures.

They were yesterday's pics.

There were pics of me and Abir, while Abir feeding me cake, when I was walking with him, our whole family photos, when Abir and me were standing beside each other.

All the pics were beautiful. In all the pics a constant smile was their on his face.

I quickly changed my profile photo and kept the one when Abir and me are standing beside each other.

After completing dinner we came in our room. I started to make things ready for tomorrow. I was unable to find my daily pair of earring, one was near the compact box while other was missing. I tried to find it but I didn't got it that's when Abir asked

"Finding something?"

"Kohinoor" I replied sarcastically

"Mishti" he said in a stern voice.

"Ok I am unable to find my earring" I showed him the one I had in my hand

"Pair of this one"

"Ok" if wanted to reply on ok then why you asked me

I continued my search while he got up from bed came near dressing table glanced through the table then bent down and picked up my lost earring. Showed it to me with a smirk. Ahhh that smirk he looks damn sexy.

I took it from him and mouthed thanks.

He has hanged the frame in our room on the wall near study table. He values my gift.

He went to bed turned off his laptop and went to Nanu's room saying me good night.

It's first time he said good night to me not as a reply but as a wish.

I went to Ketki's bedroom and slept.

It's been 2 weeks to Abir's Birthday. I have seen him from past few days he is looking upset. Might be because of departure of Nanu and Massi. No he was looking tensed before their departure. Then what can be the reason. I can't see in disturbed, I need to know the reason.

I thinking all this while cooking dinner. Then I heard bell ringing, di opened door as I was busy with food.

She came and told me that it's Abir I took a glass of water and went to him. He was looking tired and exhausted. He even came late today everyday he comes early than this.

"Aap fresh ho jaiye tb tk me coffee bana or lati hu" I said because his face was screaming that he badly wants a coffee. And even I need to talk to him.

Pouring coffee into mugs I headed towards our room he was sitting on chair. Keeping the tray on table I sat on chair beside his chair.

He took a sip of coffee while I asked him

"Abir office me sb thik hai?"

He smiled and said "sb kuch thik hai"

Keeping my coffee in the tray I got up and kneeled in front of him. Seeing me on my both knees he kept his coffee aside and asked me

"Mishti ye tum Kya kr rhi ho"

I took his hands in mine. His palm was warm because he holded cup of coffee.
I locked my eyes with him and said

"Abir hm dost hai right" he nodded in agreement being confused by my question.

"To aap aapki problem mere saath share kr sakte hai. Plz apni problem share kijiye. Maine peechle kuch Dino se notice kr rhe hu aap pareshan hai. Baat Kya Abir."

He left out sigh while I was intently watching his all actions.

"Batata hu pehle upar betho" listening to his order I sat on chair.

He took his cup and sipped coffee while I was waiting for an answer.

He looked at me and said

"Ek Naya project aaya hai. The dealer is perfectionist. Aur presentation abhi aaj complete hua hai jb ki kal subah 7am ko meeting hai. I was stressed because of presentation. And Kunal is off with Kuhu."

Oh so this is the problem. Ek minute meeting at 7am so tomorrow he has to leave early. So I have to get up early.

"Abir presentation tyaar ho gaya na to ab to thoda smile kijiye" I asked because he doesn't looks good with that frown on his face.

He smiled a little and ended his coffee.

Taking a sip of my coffee I asked

"To Kal subah kitne baje nikalenge?"

"6:30am"

"Thik hai me breakfast bana dungi. Aur lunch Jugnu bhaiya ke saath bhejva dungi"

"Hmm" I think he is still thinking about tomorrow's deal.

Completing my coffee I took the tray with mugs to kitchen and resumed my work.

After completing dinner we were in our room. Today we have to sleep in our room as yesterday only Massi and Nanu left.

He slept on bee while I slept on floor.

I woke up with alarm ringing near my head I closed it and got up it was 5:30am.

Taking a good shower for 15 minutes I dressed up in anarkali of yellow colour. And went to kitchen prepared half breakfast when I saw it was 6:05am so I went to wake up Abir.

Entering room I saw he already awake and he was arranging bed.

I said

"Ye me krlungi aap jaeye" he went to washroom taking his towel and clothes .

I arranged the bed and went back to kitchen to make breakfast. I made breakfast and lunch both for everyone.

The curry for lunch is yet to be made so I kept it aside and served breakfast to Abir. I didn't gave him milk as his mood is already not good. We had breakfast in total silence.

He was near door when I called him from behind

"Suno" he turned

"All the best" I said him with smile he also reciprocated .

He once again turned to leave

"Suno" he again turned with smile on his face

I just couldn't control myself I ran towards him while he was perplexed with my actions.

I ran and ran and ran and ran and then......

I hugged him tight by his waist. He didn't responded till few seconds I thought I crossed my limits so I was going to break our one sided hug when he reciprocated the hug by wrapping his hands around my back .

It was our first hug. My ears were on his chest near his heart. His heart was racing and mine too.

His heartbeats created perfect music. I felt this music better than any other music in the world.

I didn't know how much time passed I was with him in his arms hugging him tight and that's what matters for me.

I was rubbing my small palms on his back to calm him down as he is stressed.

Soon I came out of his embrace looked straight into his eyes and said

"Project aapki company ko hi milega"

He nodded and said

"Waise agar tum camel race me part login to shayad third rank mil jayega"With a smile lingering on his lips.

And then he went.

I was staring at his retreating figure and then moved to kitchen to make remaining lunch.

Finishing cooking I went to our room set an alarm and slept.

Getting up I went out had my breakfast with everyone packed Abir's lunch and gave it to Jugnu bhaiya.

Entering my office I was sitting on my chair thinking about the last project which we can't sign as the other company said

'this company is not doing good'

We currently have only 4 projects, we need to increase our quality in presentation.

Mr. Rajvansh keeps flirting with me, keeps on calling me by endearing words, speaks very sweetly to me and lastly talks a lot.

I was brought to real world by a phone call. It was from maa. Picking it up I kept the phone on speaker

"Kaise hai gudiya Rani?"

"Me thik hu aap batiye aap kb aarhi hai mujhse Milne I am missing you all badly. I want keep my head in your lap and sleep peacefully." As I am not getting good sleep on floor.

"I am busy at home I can't visit you sorry. But you can come tomorrow. Come at home tomorrow your papa is also at home."

I went in my thoughts can I go tomorrow? What if Abir needs me? What if Abir or anyone else needs me?I can't stay overnight.

Mishti you can go early in morning and come back at home at night. Even my periods are going on it's time to get pampered by papa and maa.

I will manage Mr. Rajvansh. And inform at home.

"Maa me Kal subah aajaungi mere liye Khana ready rakhna me sb kuch khane wali hu"

"You will come tomorrow?" She enquired out of excitement.

"Yes Maa I will. And plz make my favorite dishes. Even my periods are on"

"You once come here I won't let you go back. Come fast I am waiting for you" she was so excited I was able to imagine her glowing face.

"Maa I will return by night" I said and I know because of this her glow would have been dimmed.

"Ok come fast" her voice lowered I understood her.

Hanging up the call I dialed Mr. Rajvansh's number.

"Hello chérie " I will make powder of his bones.

"Hello flirty" I replied in a mocking tone.

"I am not coming tomorrow. I will do the work day after tomorrow. Even there is less work for tomorrow. Nishant and Ankita will handle it." Me informed him.

"Why won't you come tomorrow?"

"None of my boss's business"

"But of your friends business"

"Why do you keep switching between boss and friend?"

"Change is the only constant"

"You change your colours more than Anna's Humming bird"

(Some new science info for you all 'Anna's Humming bird' changes it colour every second.
In India known as 'Surakav'.
So from now you can call people with this name too rather than calling them chameleon or girgit .
But the bird is damn beautiful. So think before saying)

"Thanks sweetie"

"Bye" I hanged up the call

The day passed.

Before dinner I informed Maa about my departure. I didn't cook food today because of unbearable pain.

Abir came late, just before dinner. He was looking cool and calm which meant he got the project.

While dinner he had less food than usual .
Maybe because I didn't made it. He might have got use to the taste of my food. I have observed if food is not made by me or Maa he eats less food.

After dinner when we were in our room. He was sitting on bed with his laptop on his lap, while I sat the opposite edge of bed.

"Abir what about the project?"

"We signed it" he said his eyes glued to laptop screen.

"Abir I am going to my parent's home tomorrow" I informed softly.

His head shot up at the statement he gave me shocked look

"When will you come back?" First let me go.

"By dinner time" I answered

He sighed and again glued his eyes with the laptop.

I went to chair beside took my laptop and started working. When I was busy with my laptop a message popped up on my phone it was from Mr. Rajvansh.

He never called me or messaged me at this time.

So I opened the message it read

"Hey sweetie what are you doing?"

"Hi, I am doing nothing"

"Well what about your husband? What is he doing?"

I glanced at my hubby busy with his laptop

"Romancing with his wife"

"It means he is with his laptop or phone"

How does he know?

"How do you know?"

"Common sense dear which husband allows his wife to talk with some one else when he is romancing with her."

" Whatever it may be why you messaged me?"

"Nothing special"

Then why?

"Bye" and I ended the conversation.

I went to sleep.

I asked di to make breakfast for everyone as well as lunch.

So that I can wake up a little late.

Waking up I went to have a bath I soaked myself in the tub for nearly 30 mins it was more relaxing.

Coming out I choose a blue dress for me. Got dressed up and went to have breakfast after few minutes everyone joined me at table. We all had breakfast chit chatting. Definitely Abir didn't. I think yesterday I shouldn't have hugged him.

After breakfast I was heading towards my car when Abir stopped me and said

"Come I will drop you"

"No need I can go and if you will drop me then papa will have to drive me here."

"It's ok I will drop you and pick up also"

"I can go Abir you look after your work"

"Are you gonna drive with that pain?" He inquired in a little hard voice.

That's true I can't while coming I would have asked papa to drop me but now no need to disturb papa.

"Ok you win"

I settled myself in passenger seat while he sat on driver seat.

We had drivers but Abir being Abir didn't trusted anyone.

I am puzzled how did he trusts me? How was he able to share his almost everything with me? Leaving the thoughts I gazed at person sitting beside me. His eyes were on road, firm hold on steering. How handsome he looked.

While I was drooling over him a thought came to my mind he is visiting my parents home will he go back or come inside?

I was busy in my thoughts when he halted the car. And then I understood that we reached.

"Your home is here"

"Why isn't it yours?"

"When did it become mine?"

"When you married me"

"Ok then what should I do?"

"Abir have you gone nuts?"

He made a ajeeb face while I continued

"You are here and you won't come inside what will Maa and Papa feel? Do you have any idea?"

"Mishti I am in hurry now plz"

"This you should have thought before driving me here"

"Mishti plz"

"How will you feel when your own son in law will behave like this?"

I made puppy face which always works on everyone.

He thought for a while and said

"Ok but only 5 minutes"

Yes he agreed that's what I wanted otherwise Maa would have eaten my head saying ' y didn't you bring him inside'. I am saved.

He parked the car and we both got out of car.

As Papa says the doors are always open for me they were already open.

Getting in I started shouting Maa Papa.

Both came in hall with huge smile on their face. As soon as I saw them standing in front of me I couldn't control myself I ran and hugged them tight. They both happily embraced me with more love and affection.

Both were happy more than me for a minute we all forgot that Abir is here. I completely forgot but Abir came forward and bent to touch Maa's feet that's when we came back to our senses. Maa stopped him from touching her feet made him stand and embraced him in a warm hug.

They both share a good bond but when it comes to papa he is not good with Abir.

Being the best Father Papa always gave me rights to take my own decision but did interfere when he thought I am making a wrong decision. My decision to marry Abir papa was not sure about him. Because Abir didn't talk with me nor did smile, nor did take and initial step during days before marriage.

Even when I was ready in my bride attire and was going to sit in mandap he asked me

"Are you sure Mishti? Just once tell me. If no then don't think about people around nothing is more important for me than you"

But I was adamant on marrying him.

Abir came forward to touch papa's feet but papa backed off and took him in embrace se as Maa.

These 3 shared some formal words while I went to dining table. The view made me shock I just screamed

"Maaaaa" the three came running towards me with worried face and asked what happened??

I ran to Maa and once again hugged her.

She asked me again what happened because everything seemed normal.

"Maa you made all my favorite dishes. Thank you thank you and I love you"

"Pagal Maa ko koi thanks kehta hai Kya. Chalo aajoa sb Khana kha lete hai."

Out of the blue Abir said

"Aunty mujhe late ho raha hai me chalta hu"

Maa Papa and me looked at each other and the looked at him and in unison said

"Ye aunty kon hai?"

Now he frowned and directed his index finger to Maa.

"Me aunty. You do one thing you go from here." Said Maa in sad tone to Abir.

"Aree ab Kya huva bataye na Kya problem hai?" Said Abir being confused.

"Mishti aaj see tum Meenakshi Ji ko aunty bulana" Maa ordered me.

I nodded in agreement.

"Lekin Mishti to Maa ko Maa bulati hai?" Abir confused soul.

Then his expression changed like he understood the situation and said

"Ok I get it sorry Maa."

"Ab Maa kaha hai to Maa ki baat manani padegi" Maa said

"Jo aap kahe" me to biwi hu mujhe to kabhi aisa nhi kaha 'jo aap kahe' huhhh

"Khana kha ke jao thoda sa hi sahi"

"Ok lekin thoda sa" heeinn maan gaye

Maa became excited. Me and papa sat beside each other while these 2 sat opposite to us.

"Khana Maine banaya hai to Mishti ko me khilaungi " said Maa while sitting beside me . Now I was sitting between Maa and Papa and Abir opposite to me.

"Aree aise kaise Khana aapne banaya hai to mujhe khilane dijiye" said papa in his defense.

"Me uski Maa hu"

"To Mishti hamari beti hai"

"To Kya Meri beti nahi hai?"

"Humne aisa kb kaha ?"

I need to stop this so I shouted

"Stop" while Abir was looking at us like he is adoring us .

Both finally stopped

"Both will feed me one by one" they both nodded.

And then feed me while Maa was feeding me I indicated her to feed Abir as he should not feel left out.

So she got up and went to him took his plate, taking a piece of morsel holded it in front of his mouth. He looked at her surprised, confused and love. And opened the mouth.

"To kitna pareshan kiya Mishti be tumhe?" Asked Maa

Maine pareshan nhi kiya inhone kiya mujhe. He looked at me smiled and said

"Pata hai yaha se sidha ear specialist ke pass jaane Wala hu"

That was enough for everyone to understand how much I talk. He means I talk a lot due to this his ears are paining.

I narrowed my brows and looked at him all of them laughed.

We continued our food Abir completed before me so he went saying bye to all of us .

We three continued eating. We feed each other. I felt like the kid inside me came out, I was suppressing the kid for so long.

After completing breakfast cum lunch we went to hall and sat chit chatting. While talking to papa my eyes fell on the fish tank I got up and went near it caressed the glass.

Maa came and looped her hands around my shoulder.

"Maa sweetie" I asked looking at her with sorrow full eyes.

"She died after 2 weeks of your wedding"

Sweetie was the gold fish Which I brought. I lovingly used to call her sweetie, sometimes even talked to her. I kept my head on Maa's shoulder while papa caressed my hairs.

I was feeling sleepy so I said same to mom.

We went to my room. Entering my room I saw everything was kept in the way I used to keep. Nothing changed the room is more cleaner than before. The bed was all set properly.

The origami birds were on their place. My story books were arranged in proper manner in shelf which I would never do. My study table kept neat and clean with one notebook and one pen on it. The origami butterflies which I added with help of papa behind my bed's wall. The flower pot it contained fresh flowers which means Maa daily changes the flowers.

I turned and again hugged Maa

"Aap to mere room ko store room banane wali thi na?"

I asked with tears in my eyes. Papa came from behind and said

"Inka yahi irrada tha pr hum haina. Humne aisa nhi hone Diya."

Maa playfully hitted papa on his arms.

I was thinking when will I and Abir will share a relationship like them.
When will that comfort level come?

While I went to my bed and slept in the center of my king sized bed.

"Mujhe waise sulaenge jaise pehle sulate the?" I asked both of them. They smiled through happy tears and nodded.
Maa came to my right side sat on bed kept my head on her lap and started caressing my hairs.

Papa went to study table took my favorite Disney princess story book and came back to sit on my left side.

He started reading the story, Maa was caressing my hairs. My comfy blanket the softest bed made me sleep in few seconds. I didn't even heard 4 lines.

I woke up hearing my name from father's mouth. After a long time I had very peaceful sleep. I did miss my sleep. I am a sleepy head but when I went to Rajvansh sadan the responsibilities took over me I always wake up before alarm rings.

Here my parents home frees me from all responsibilities, duties, etc.

I woke up lazily sat and kept my head on my father's shoulder who was sitting beside me.

"Jaaiye fresh ho kr aayie" he ordered me.

I woke up very slowly and went to washroom freshen up and came out.

There I saw Maa coming inside my room with tray in her hands . The tray contained 3 bowls but j didn't know what was there in the bowls.

"Aaj Kya khaas hai babumoshai?" I said in a dramatic way.

They both chuckled and said in unison

"Aapki Favorite ice cream" I jumped in joy hearing the answer.

I ran to Maa and took one bowl of ice cream sat on bed and started eating it. They both just smiled at me.

I knew papa brought it for me he very well knows me. He knew I had habit of eating ice cream when on periods. And on daily basis I did never say no to ice cream.

We all had our ice cream. Maa brought oil.
I sat on floor near the edge of the bed and Maa started applying oil.

Later she styled my hair in French braid while father brought my favorite Jasmine buds Garland and applied it on my hairs.

And went to hall to talk while watching our favorite cartoon.
Yes cartoon me and my parents together watch cartoons. It was our daily activity before my marriage.

I didn't know that I slept too much
It was already evening Maa had already made dinner.

Watching TV sharing some experiences from past 4 months we completed our day.

We were sitting on dining table when some known smell hit my nose I was trying to recognize it and said

"Maa aapne gazar(carrot) ka halwa banaya hai?"

She nodded in agreement I was happy like heaven.

'Live for the moments you can't put into  words'

And these are those moments Which I spend with my parents.

Finishing our dinner by feeding each other we went out in garden to walk for a while.

That's when Abir's number flashed on my mobile screen saying he is calling me.

"Me pichle 5min se tumhare Ghar ke gate pr khada hu pr ye guards andar nhi aane de rahe hai. Thak gaya samjha ke ki me subah hi aaya hu but they say in morning you were with me so they allowed you and now they can't"

Mr. Ajeeb Rajvansh spoke a whole paragraph. I think I should come here daily so he will learn to speak.

"Ok wait me aati hu" I explained whole scenario to my parents they laughed.

But I was in no mood to go so I said

"Mujhe nhi jaana mujhe yahi rhna hai aapke paas. Jaana zarori hain kya?" Complained like a kid of 3 years.

They both pacified me and accompanied me till gate.

Once me and Abir sat in his car Papa said to Abir

"Aap hamari beti ka khayaal rakhiye"

And Maa said to me

"Aur tu gudiya Rani Mera bete ka khayaal rakh"

We both nodded and bid bye to my family.

"They both love you"

"Yaa they say that I am their heart and my brother Saurabh is Heartbeat"

He gave me a puzzled look

"Tumhara Bhai bhi hai?"

God please forgive me if I kill this man. I mean who doesn't knows about his wife's siblings except Ajeeb Rajvansh. I mean aakne hai ya Gulab Jamun aur dimag to hai hi nhi inme.

"Abir aapki manufacturing ke time defect hua tha lgta hai. I need to ask Maa what she had during her pregnancy so that I will prevent other ladies from eating it."

"Heeein Mishti I am asking you about your brother and you here are talking something unnecessary."

"Abir Shaadi ke waqt dhyaan kaha tha? Shaadi me daaru pe ke aaye the ya drug leke aaye the? Ek minute Maine aap hi se Shaadi ke hai na? Ya phir kuch wo serials type aapke judwa Bhai ne Shaadi ke.."

He kept his index finger on my lips to stop me don't worry we are waiting because signal is red.

His fingers were soft and warm. I looked at his finger which was resting on my lips and then in his eyes.

"Mera koi judwa Bhai nhi hai na hi me kuch Nasha krke Shaadi me aaya tha. Ab aaje ka baton"

He removed his finger.

"Shaadi me Mere Bhai ne  itna kuch kiya aur aap he ki don't know"

"Mujhe Sach me yaad nhi hai"

"Wait" I quickly searched for my elder brothers photo and showed it to him.

" Ya I have seen him but I didn't know that he is your elder brother"

He replied genuinely.

"Hmm" if next time he forgets about my family I will make him eat all bad tasting tablets at once.

Again silence but this time he broke the silence

"You like them?"

He asked me pointing towards Jasmine buds in my hair.

"Yes. Once my father brought it for Maa but I liked it so I put it on. So from next time papa use to bring these buds in more quantity for me and Maa on all functions."

"Hmm"

Came a reply. Reaching home I saw Maa ketu and Kunal having dinner.

I asked Abir

"Did you have your dinner?"

"Yes I had before coming to pickup you"

"So sad I have brought halwa for everyone Maa made it for me but I brought some of it here. "

"What sad? give me I can eat it now "

This bhukkad can have everything.

I gave halwa to everyone, they all loved it.

We all went to sleep in our room. I was preparing things for tomorrow when Abir asked

"So how was your day?"

"Amazing, awesome and what not."

"You miss them?"

"Of course which daughter won't miss her parents."

"Hmm Good Night"

"Good night" and then we both slept.

“It’s the little details that are vital. Little things make big things happen."
