{Location: Samurai X Cave}(Willow's POV)

I'm the frist one up. It's not like I was sleeping that well, anyway. I roll out of bed as the other girls are still fast asleep. Might as well enjoy the quiet. I quietly get up and dressed. Which proves to be harder with other female elemental masters sleeping on the floor. They came late last night, after all, Jezzie's Phouka would be hard to beat. I slowly put on my white and red armor as my stomach throws a tantrum. I tiptoe out and listen to the quiet cave. My feet lead me just outside as the sun rises.

Lloyd smirks and follows me just outside the cave. "Little early for breakfast isn't."

"Early bird gets the worm." I smile. "Are you nervous?"

"Honestly, I'm anxious for this to be over. But I also don't want to face him..um..it again." Lloyd rests against the skeleton's bony ribs. "What about you?"

"Jezzie took you from me once, Katara's life and Seliel's heart. I should be furious. But I am nervous. Something I never thought would describe today."

"We'll survive." Lloyd smiles and weaves his fingers into mine. "Destiny said we had the best shot at this. And I don't think Destiny makes a mistake."

How does Lloyd know about Kit's mom? I raise an eyebrow then break into a smile with small snickers.

"What's so funny?" Lloyd catches contagious snickers. "Did Jay write on my face?"

I lean up and lightly peck his cheek, "When this is all over, remind me that I've got a story for you."

"I can't wait to hear it." Lloyd relaxes a bit and embraces me as the sun began to shine on us.

Morro pokes his head from around the corner with Katara just beside him. "Oppis, we can come back later."

"Didn't mean to interrupt." Katara covers her eyes but leaves her finger open to peek.

"It's fine. Is everyone up?" I try to enjoy this small moment of peace.

"Mostly. Zane, Pixal and Skylor are making breakfast. Sensei, Misako and Kit are working out a plan with Cole." Morro comes fully out from behind the skull. "Look..um. In case we don't make it out alive today.."

"Careful, you might jinx us." Lloyd smiles as Katara also fiddles with her hands.

"Very funny." Morro bites his lower lip, "I just wanted to say I'm very sorry. For everything I did.The possession, the fighting. All of it."

"Sorry for almost killing you," Katara counts on her fingers, "9 times."

Lloyd does his own count. "The past is the past."

"Which is where we'll be putting the Overlord today." Don't be scared Willow. It's just the battle that all time and existence has been waiting for.

"Destiny said that the Green Ninja and the White Rose will stop him." Morro looks up a bit with some kind of half smile. "And no one can escape Destiny. I learned that the hard way."

I'm about to say something snarky about Destiny also being a person when I chose to keep it to myself. "Well, I hope desony will let us plan."

Lloyd holds a weak smile, "I believe that would be back down below."

We head back down as I try to tame my nerves in my stomach. I spy Wu, Misako, and Kit studying papes on the center table.

Wu strokes his beard. "Jezzie could be anywhere in Ninjago by now."

Kit wipes the scrolls off to the side and pulls her sword out, causing Misako to chase after them, "Let's find out." Kit pulls out a map of Ninjago and holds her sword over it.

Misako points to the most eastern part of the map where a small army of triangles stood, "Wait, go back."

"Split Mountain?" Cole frowns, on his waist is a small leather bag and his Gi has a little reddish glow. "Not a smart battle spot."

"Agreed." Misako grabs a second scroll. "But there's an exact same mountain on the Dark Island but on the western side."

Lloyd puts on his warrior face. "Where the fight first began. It's come full circle."

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's-AH!" I get up and push my chair out of the away only to be hug-tackled by a Master of Metal.

Karlof squeezes a little too tight. "Willow. Karlof thought you were dead. Karlof missed you."

"Missed you..too. Need. Air." I gasp as he squeezes harder. Then lets go.

"Moving on from the past." Wu taps his staff to the ground. "We do have a plan to discuss."

"Sensei is right." Kit looks ready to throw up from the nerves.

"The Phouka are strong in numbers and fighting." Wu strokes his beard as Seliel holds up some kind of dark liquid. It makes me feel a little light headed despite it being closed and on the other side of the table.

Seliel sets the vial down. "I got this from my dad, it's Fightstone mined from Crystal Pass. Phase 1 is when the masters of Smoke and Poison disperse this over the Phoka."

Jay rubs his fingers together. "How do we know it'll work? It's so small."

"It'll work." Katara holds her head and looks white as a sheet.

"Once the Phoka are more variable, we'll get off the Bounty on either Ultra Dragon or Aquila." Wu continues as Seliel puts the vial away. "The elemental masters, Misako, Kit and I will clear a path for the ninja, Lloyd, and Willow to get to the mountain."

Kit's plays with her hair, "Once they get to the mountain, our job becomes to keep the Phouka from chasing them down. That's Phase 2."

"And we won't be alone. I took the liberty of taking this when Dareth wasn't looking." Misako held up some helmet of blackness.

"So wait," The Master of shadow frowns. "We're under the command of two old timers?"

"No." Kit smirks, "You're under my command as well."

Protest comes out from everyone.

"It had been decided, besides, if you wanted to have input, you should have woken up with is." Wu slams his staff to all order. "We will leave it be.

Nya rubs her engagement band. "What about us?"

"You'll safeguard Lloyd and Willow up the mountain, the path is tricky and most likely with have hidden foes and traps."

I force myself to sit still, ignore the hyper butterflies as breakfast is passed around, "And once we get to the top?"

"Then you and Lloyd will do what destiny has instructed." Wu finished as Kit shoots me a knowing look.

"Jezzie knows we're coming, so let's hit her with everything we've got." Kai lights his hands up with fire. The ninja seemed ready, despite the high chance of death.

I think Lloyd is watching as I let nervous tickle onto my face, "Don't worry. We can do this." Lloyd brushes my messy hair and his hand falls into mine, "Together."

"Maybe we can get ice cream after. The good stuff, not the knock off thing at a yogurt shop." I smile as I make flimsy plans for a possible tomorrow.

"What kind of ice cream?" Lloyd swings my arm as we leave to get weapons.

"How about Sherbet?" I quickly say the only flavor that comes to mind.

"That's sorba, not ice cream. Clearly, you need to be taught in the fine art of ice cream picking Rosie." Lloyd chuckles as he grabs his green pole thing.

"Perhaps you could teach me after we defeated the Overlord." I smile as I grab my half mask and over armor.

{Location: Destiny's Bounty over Split Mountain}[Three hours later]

Everyone is nervous and cramped. Various Masters talks in hush tones, the ninja constantly checked their gear while Cole puts Seliel's heart in a small bag that hooks onto his waist. Meanwhile Kit shows her nerves through hairdos. Skylor has little braids the tie into a bun at the nape of her neck, Seliel has an x cross braid hairstyle and Nya has somehow gotten out with just a ponytail.

I wince as Kit nearly pulls my hairs out. "A little too hard."

"Sorry. I'm not used to not knowing how a battle will end." Kit's fingers brush my skin. My hair falls into a pattern behind my head, which leaves my ears fully exposed. Good, I want the Overlord to know exactly how he's dealing with.

"Done." Kit lets got as she looks for another victim.

"We have arrived at Split Mountain." Misako talks over the intercom, "Everyone please get on the top deck."

There. Aquila's voice is relatively calm in my mind was also nervous, Everyone is now protected from Jezzie's mind magic.

The mood is quiet, not even Jay attempts any humor as we walk on deck. Ultra Dragon and Aquila barely fit on deck as we slowly find room where it is available. I look left, at the base, the Phouka have large tanks and catapults, it's just dirt but the tip is completely flat with a woman standing on the edge. She watching us.

"So..is this it?" The Master of Form swallows hard then looks at me and Lloyd.

Aquila chirps in my mind. They want you to say something.

"I'm not one for words. More often, I prefer the quiet." I ignore the eyes watching me now as my mind scrambles for something decent to say. "But today is different. Today we take down an enemy that would love to turn our home into an ash field."

"Willow is right, the Overlord will stop at nothing from destroying everything." Lloyd flips on his hood as words float onto my tongue. "Our homes, our families, our friends, anything and everything good is at stake here."

"Right now we have an opportunity to say no to the darkness threatens us. We have a chance to say, This will not be tolerated, We will not allow you to take another step forward. And that we will fight for the things that matter." I finger my sword, "Family, Friends, Love, and life itself are at stake here. And it our job to protect those precious things today."

"I have no idea how this will end, but we defeated Chen as one unified force. We can do it again. As it is required of us today." Lloyd holds his hand up and charged it with energy. "We will not give up. Even in the face of fear. So do the scarier thing first, then get scared after."

"For NINJAGO!" I yell as everyone holds up various powers and shoot them into the air.

"Phase 1." Wu stands on the deck above us as the Masters of Smoke and Poison borders Aquila, "Are you ready?"

"It's now or never." The Master of Smoke holds the vial as Aquila takes off. A hazy cloud of red cover the Phouka as some fall to earth and others scream in pain. Slowly the cloud disappears as Aquila circles back to us.

"Began phase 2." Kit order as the Masters finds spots on Ultra Dragon.

"How do you know this is really the end?" Morro waits in line as Katara lights her wings. She looks more to fight ready then I've known her to be.

"Because fights are over by round three." I smile as Aquila allows more passengers on her. The wind is still as we fly over the army. Most of the Phoka has red spots on their skin and burn spots on their wings. But all of them look angry.

Kai shouts as he flips off of Ultra Dragon. "NINJAGO!"

Kit, Wu, and Misako order the masters like a well-oiled machine as Lloyd and I are tucked into a box made of Ninjas and a Robot.

"We made it." Seliel breaths as we meet the base of the mountain. Srick. The sound of daggers piercing flesh catches my focus.

"Oppies." A four-armed skeleton with a single buck tooth pulls the daggers out.

"HEY!" Cole bursts into spinjitzu and knocks the skeleton over, "That's my friend who's a girl you attempted to kill."

"And it seemed that I have to try again." The Skeleton gets up as Cole and Seliel get into a fight stances.

Seliel pulls out the daggers and tosses them to the ground in disgust, "Keep going." Seliel pulls out her kama and charges the foe as Cole puts up an earth wall. "We got this bonehead."

"We have to move." Katara tugs at my exposed shirt as Jay and Nya leads the pack with Zane and Pixel behind us.

"Here's a hand." I draw my bow and shoot aimlessly over the wall as my arrow pumping with strength. Right now, Kai, Skylor, Katara, Morro, Jay, Nya, Zane, and Pixel are all the stand in the way of any more traps as we climb to a small rest stop witch has a small rock ledge above us has dirt trickles down to us.

Garmadon jumps down from them in a crouch pose, "YOU WILL NOT HURT MY SON!" Garmadon has the sword of cindered souls in hand. He wears black armor and his eyes are still purple as he thrust forward.

"Dad!" Lloyd winces as the sword comes closer. Then the wind blows us up and over the attack as fire blasts the ground at Garmadon's feet.

Morro pulls out his ball and chain and swings it overhead. "Keep going."

Katara blasts fire from behind Garmadon as Morro gets into his spinjitzu. "We promise not to hurt him too badly."

I promise as Kai charges up the hill. "We'll be back."

"We have to make it to the top." Lloyd sticks by my side and Kai elevate in mid-air. He beats on something as he struggles.

A white and purple snake grins as Kai turns blue, "Too bad, I can't let that happen." Pythor hisses as he holds Kai by the neck.

Then Pythor slumps over and lets Kai go. Skylor appears as she stops using the power of light with a smirk on her face, "You're not the only one that can disappear." Skylor helps Kai up as the two charge up with fire.

"Go kick their can." Kai puts flames on his sword and slashes at Pythor, "I have a few things to say to the slimy egghead here.

"Best of luck." I shoot another arrow of strength at Kai's feet. Funny, I was aiming for Skylor.

Pixel covers our behind as I wish that we could help our friends, "I don't like our numbers at this point."

Zane seems slightly distracted like he could sense someone nearby, "Jezzie has definitely thought of a lot of this through." Zane grips his shurikens as a shriek sounds from behind me.

A black ninjadrod with thick armor holds Pixel by the back of the neck. "I see you got an upgrade. But underneath all that armor, you're still an office tool." Cyptor smiles as he begins to squeeze as he chuckles.

Zane throws two shurikens at Cryptor then run forward and drags them down. "HOW DARE YOU INSULT PIXEL YOU MICRODRIVE!" Zane back smacks Cryptor in the face as Pixel pulls out a dagger of her own and backstabs Cryptor in the unholy spot.

Pixel back kicks and gets out of Cyptor's grip. "Go on without us." She bends low and low tackles Cryptor as Zane beats his back.

Nya has to pull me up, "COME ON!" Nya has to pull me again and Jay pushes Lloyd.

We are now few hundred feet from the peak.

Jay pushes Lloyd a few extra feet as Nya jerks me to the dirt. "We're so close." Jay looks at the final bend. I look over the battlefield. The Phouka hold their own despite being weaker now. Kit stays close to Wu as the stone army advances the center flank.

Slam. Crash. "I'm afraid, you've reached the end of the trail." Clouse steals my attention as he appears in a huge rock monster that close to ten feet high and has four scary looking arms. "And your lives."

Nya shoots boiling hot water at his face, "Not today magic man." Nya blasts his face again as Jay spinjitzus into the side of the rock monster's legs.

"Magic vs nuts and bolts and water." Jay pulls out his nunchucks as Nya makes a water arch over them, the current wrapped around my feet along with Lloyd's and carried us over.

I shoot Jay with a strength arrow as I dash up the last hundred feet. "I think nuts and bolts should have a charge up.

Lloyd grips his weapon, "We're almost -OH COME ON!" Lloyd yells as the time twins appear from their hiding spots.

Krux pulls out a long sword and a dagger, "Surrender or-" Krux swings his sword above his head as I lose my last nerve.

Fortunately, I also recognized the key that Lloyd was telling me about while I was on the spinjitzu course, "NINJAGO!" I yell as I jump, back kick and spin. A white and red tornado covers me as I kick the two off the mountain.

Lloyd watches as they have several choice words for us as the fall down, "Rosie, you just did spinjitzu." Lloyd's mask moves as he smiles and I stop.

"Celebrate later." I put my bow away and I pull out my sword. "I think it's time we end this." I reach the top first. It's completely flat, no cover is here as Over-Jezzie is snickering to herself. Around her, a circle of dark power pools there and seeps back into her as her legs are black and purple with evil power. Her back is to us. She currently wears six-inch heels with black pants and a purple shirt is tuck under the power armor. Whatever there is skin, it's a black, grey and purple combo while her now midnight black hair is braided low and circles around her head.

"Today, this ends," Lloyd growls as he holds his weapon.

Over-Jezzie turns to us and takes small steps to us, the pool of darkness moves with her as my necklace feels icy cold against my chest. "Like it should have eons ago here?" Over-Jezzie snickers at us. She's even more unsettling in the front, her eyes are black, red and purple with power. Her ears have been pierced all the way to her tips with golden studs. Her lips are blood red and placed in a cat-like grin. Oh, how I hate that face as it smirks.

I don my mask, this is it, the moment that took centuries to come to, "As it should have when Lloyd first defeated you." I pull back a bit, my fingers twitch to grab my hilt, "Last chance, come out of Jezzie and fight like a real man."

"I am not a man." Over-Jezzie pulls out a dagger. It's small but black and purple, the first dagger of the Overlord, "I am darkness."

Lloyd sends out a green beam, "I've faced Snakes, nindroids, Chen, ghosts, and Djin. You barely scare me." Lloyd lets off two blasts.

Over-Jezzie just cackles insanely as she evades and swipe at me with the weapon. As the blade cuts me, it leaves a tingling sensation, "Oh please. You've always faced me." Over-Jezzie manages to drop down and pull me by my ankles. I do manage to cut off the strings that hold the armor together before she slams me to the ground. "Who do you think pushed Chen over the edge of sanity?" Slam. I taste dirt as I get picked up again. "Who do you think whispered in Morro's ear and help convinced him the wrong path was right?" Slam. Over-Jezzie lets me go as Lloyd charges but get caught early on. "Who do you think told Natakon to get married to honor his people?" Slam. Over-Jezzie introduces Lloyd's body to the ground. "Who do you think had the time twins wait to make their warriors?" Slam. Over-Jezzie punishes Lloyd as I manage to kick her right knee. "It was me. It's always been me."

I lick my lips, I'm bleeding, "We will defeat you." I roll over to Lloyd and send him a burst of strength.

Over-Jezzie holds her hands out as they glow purple, "Why is that?" Over-Jezzie tackles as a purple ax appear in her hand.

"Because." Lloyd gets up and blasts her with a large shot of energy, "All fights have to come to an end." Lloyd picks me up and sets me on my feet.

I pull out my sword as the clouds completely darken the sun, "And we're ending this fight."

We charge with no thought of mercy. The battle is even in it's entirety, Lloyd's blasts are met with dark purple shields or dark blasts to us. My healing magic is countered with slashes to my body from the dagger.

I twist left, my feet criss-cross and I get low to the ground, I hear her get close as I spring up and back jump kick her in the face. Lloyd pushes his leg out and down kicks towards her knees. She falls on her butt but manages to cut along Lloyd's legs.

"FOOLS!" Over-Jezzie gets up. I can't even tell if she has any bruises from our hits as she grins, "You will fall."

I wish I could just shove her off the cliff as it dips into the sea. Waves crash as Lloyd springs up, he holds his left side as I tightly hold my wounds, even with my magic, this is a tough fight.

"We have to separate them." An idea clicks into my mind. "Throw me." I duck under a black blast.

Lloyd flips over the blast and towards me. "You want me to do what?"

I land on my feet, "If the Overlord has the power to create weapons, then the Green Ninja should have the power to separate energy."

"How do you know?" Lloyd watches as Over-Jezzie gets another attack ready, "And that does seem like a long shot even by our standards."

"Would you rather keep fight the both of them in this state?" I point as Over-Jezzie slashes her hand behind her. A long purple cut travels to the sea, cuts through the ground and a part of the mountaintop slides off. "Especially when they can do that."

"Fair point." Lloyd picks me up with a small wince and starts spinning me around. "Just say when."

"NOW!" I sheath my sword as I fly in the air. I hope you didn't just accidentally send me into the sea Lloyd.

"Too easy." Over-Jezzie grins and brings an ax to my stomach. I can't land so I get the wind knocked out of me as Over-Jezzie twists the ax around, killing my major organs. "You know, you should never talk about your last change in front of the bad guy."

"WILLOW!" Lloyd screams and charges. "I'm gonna-"

"I'm two for two." Over-Jezzie twists and slices under Lloyd's left guard. The ax hits a large blood vessel and Lloyd tumbles down next to me. "And now." Over-Jezzie stabs Lloyd deeply in between his fourth and fifth rib on his left side as she twists the ax in me. "You die." She pulls the weapons out and cackles in victory.

Lloyd looks at me as pain racks my body. "We're dying."

I don't believe it as our blood is dumping out and makes a small lake between us, "I can't heal us. We failed." I feel crushes as our blood mixes and my hand weakly pulls out my locket. Red blood drips in, getting the gears and the music box all slimy as I try to play it. It cracks down the middle and doesn't play this time.

"Don't let that be your last words." Lloyd places his bloody hand over mine instead of trying to prevent any more blood loss or save himself as I hold my necklace. "Looks like I won't hear that story after all."

'It's ok. I have another." I begin to welcome death as my breathing becomes shallow. The battle around turns into a dull background sound. I failed Kit, Katara, my sisters in arms, my friends, the Elemental Masters, Sensei, and Misako, Molly and Aaron. But all that matters is that Lloyd close by in this moment, "Once upon a time. A girl met a boy. And despite them fighting when they first met, they fell in love. A love so strong, that even that passage of time wouldn't dare break it."

"I think I know this story." Lloyd's light in his eyes is flickering in and out. Maybe he's trying to let me see those precious sparkles before my last breath, "How does it end?"

I wish I had either the strength or the position to be closer to him, "It's ending now." I watch as our lives faded from our bodies.

Over-Jezzie has no honor as she blasts some shape around me and Lloyd, I feel my hair ends and skin sizzle as the energy scraps me, "I WIN!!" Over-Jezzie cackles and does a happy dance as my last breath wheezes out of me.
