Ok, so another feels chapter but it is also contest time again. Today in the running is GreenRose, Korro and Coleil. Now, this isn't me saying that the other couples in this series aren't any good. It's just what came up for this chapter. Enjoy!~W.R.

{Location: Aquila's Back over a mountain range}(Willow's POV)

"So you just let her go?" Lloyd snaps as he clings to me for dear life as we follow Cole west.

"It's not that simple." Cole snaps as Katara flies by my side. "And we were distracted by the hands of time."

"Whatever the case, we should try and stop them." Kai glides on his dragon with Skylor holding on to him.

We have a small problem then. Aquila stretches out our minds as Jezzie suddenly drops to the ground then comes back up. With Clouse and the hands of time missing from their Air Jezzie seats. She's leading us somewhere. I can't tell if it's a trap of not through.

Jay soars on his fusion dragon as Nya manned some kind of cannon on it. "Perfect. What do we do?"

"We're going after Jezzie. She's the bigger threat." Lloyd command as we keep on our path after her.

Morro stands up on a grey and dark green dragon. "It doesn't look like she landing anytime soon. Anybody got a plan handy?"

"Yup. She doesn't know that we have Katara back. So the boys, Willow and Nya will distract her as everyone else sneaks up on her." Cole has a proud tone in his voice.

"Kit, any idea if that turns out ok?" I turn to look at my sister who is riding with Zane and Pixel.

"Hmm." Kit stares into her sword, "I've got nothing. I just keep on seeing clouds that look like swiss cheese."

"Clouds, twelve O'Clock." Zane points to where Jezzie has ducked into a rather fluffy cloud.

"Sorry Over-Jezzie, this isn't, hide and seek." Morro takes a deep breath and the clouds are soon blown away..revealing both Jezzie and cannons aiming for us.

"PUT 'EM BACK!" Lloyd shouts as the cannons sparks and launches projectiles at us.

Skylor whistles as Morro puts the clouds back. "That's a lot of firepower."

"Ok, scratch that plan," Jay shouts as cannonballs puncture the clouds in search for us.

"New plan. Everyone, evasive maneuvers." Cole pulls up too sharply and Seliel falls. She also shouts a few choice words before Cole manages to swoop under and catch her. "Sorry."

"Over-Jezzie?" Kai questions as Zane and Pixel nearly get their heads taken off my cannon fire.

"It's the Overlord AND Jezzie." Morro did a left barrel roll in evasion. "What else would you call them?"

Wind boy has a point. Aquila snickers as Katara lays down cover fire.

"Wind boy? I have a name."

I know. But I like the nickname better. Aquila dives down as Lloyd blasts two tanks apart.

"Whatever, lets get out of here." Lloyd blasts again as Aquila flies back up behind the clouds.

"Agreed." Zane looks a little dented as Kit holds on to Pixel. "Let's split up so Jezzie can't follow all of us at once."

"Smart move. We'll meet up at the Samurai X cave." Nya pulls the trigger and a large ball of water crackling with lightning soaks some Phoka.

"Morro," Jay chuckles as he pulls up and flies south. "Give 'em some turbulence please."

"With pleasure." Morro takes a few deep breathes as Katara lands behind him. Seliel, Cole, Kai, and Skylor flies west as Zane, Pixel, and Kit flies north.

"We'll be back," I promise as Lloyd and I fly east.

I hope it's soon rather than later. Aquila flies as Lloyd holds on to me while the wind tickles the back of my neck. We keep flying for a few hours as we slowly turn south.

"What do you think Rosie?" Lloyd sighs happily. "Should we have another dragon race?"

"The fact that I have no idea where we're heading gives you too much of an advantage. Greenie." I feel a small smile creep onto my face as we pass over the Corridor of Elders.

"You ok?" Lloyd's arms are nice and warm, like a blanket, I enjoy them as I recall the events here.

"Yeah. Just was thinking about the last time I was here." I watch a dead tree past under Aquila.

"What happened?"

"A big fight...something about snake-men and ninjas battling it out."

"Wait...you were here when we faced Chen?"

"Yup."

"I didn't see you."

"I was in the very back." I watch the canyon sail under us.

"Why wouldn't you tell me that?" Lloyd rests his chin on my shoulder as Aquila enters what looks like an endless desert.

"Because there were times when we were closer." I pause for a second, trying to think.

"Like when?"

"Let's just say we were a lot closer than you think during that time we were apart."

"We've got a long flight." Lloyd gently hugs me, "Might as well fill it with words."

This is what you wanted. To be with him again. Just open your mouth. Aquila reaches into my memories as she flaps her wings.

"Where do you want me to start?" I think about all the adventures, all the events that we were inches apart.

"How about after the wedding?" Lloyd's cheek lifts up as I hear him sigh.

"After I landed back in Ninjago...you got really popular." I start opening up as the sun begins to fall behind us. Mabey those three years weren't too bad after all.

{Location: James's town}(Katara's POV)

I hold on to Morro as his dragon lands us in a small ally. My eyes widen but not from a dumpy ally. I think I can see dead people now. Obviously not the scary ones that are trapped in the Cursed realm but I would see a faint figure of a person or people around others. For example, the white-haired man that was in the park was always around Zane. Or the magenta colored woman wasn't too far from Seliel. But there were times I saw no one. Maybe this is one of those gifts Molly referred to? I don't see anyone in the ally but only an outline that soon disappears as Morro hums, I know how he feels. I'm alive, but we're lost, "Maybe we should have asked where this Samurai X cave is."

"I know where it is." Morro jumps as the dragon disappears. "Right now I'm kinda hungry."

"I think I saw a store on our way in." I feel around for some money.

"Looking for this?" Morro holds up my red leather wallet with a smirk on his face.

"I guess that I should give this back." I hold up his as we walk out to the street.

"Trade ya." Morro switches the wallets as I notice a movie store opening up. Many treats and sweets were shown in the window. "Let's try that." Morro holds the door open for me.

"Why thank you," I smirk as I walk in and ruffle his hair as I do. "Get a haircut Turbine."

"What's the matter?" Morro flips his hair back into place as the door closes. "Afraid of a little hair completion, Firelilly?"

"We both know that's Kai wins that round." I smile as I smell fresh popped popcorn and candy in the room. The store isn't too big, it was about the size of Lover's pawn shop. The carpet is blue with random colors stains in it. The store also seems deprived of people until an employee walks over to the counter holding a mild high DVDs stack in his hands.

"Welcome 49's. I'll be with you in a moment." The employee sounds familiar. Like someone I knew for a long time..but the name is stuck on the tip of my tongue.

"Ok. What snacks would you recommend?" Morro walks to the glass counter where treats are being held. Instinctively I walk up next to him, shoulder to shoulder and look downward as I give Morro flirty little bumps.

"The red vines." The employee puts down the movies behind the counter. He has bright red curly hair and his brown eyes fill with hate as he looked at me. "YOU!"

"Hi, Julius. How have you been?" I almost roll up into a ball with how much hate he is throwing at me.

"HOW HAVE I BEEN?" Julius slams his fists on the counter, wiggling the glass under the force. "HOW HAVE I BEEN? THAT'S ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY FOR YOURSELF?"

"Do you two know each other?" Morro puts his arm over me as I sink my head lower..not wanting to look at a past mistake.

Julius shakes with rage. "Know each other?!"

"We dated for a long time," I speak in just above a whisper.

"You say dated. I say controlled." Julius' reflection shows him turning red with anger.

"I'm so sorry. I'm not that person anymore." I feel my lip quiver from my guilt. "Can I make it up to you?"

"How about seven years of my life back and twenty grand back in my pocket. OH WAIT, I CAN'T GET EITHER FROM YOU. YOU WITCH!"

"Stop it." Morro now holds me defensively as the air inside begins swirling around. "I have no idea who you are, but you will not talk to my girlfriend that way," Morro growls.

"Girlfriend? Listen pal, I thought like that for a long time. Get away from her now before she makes you do something bad."

"She is not a problem." The air turns sharp as the two begin shouting.

"Really, did she tell you to say that? She's a freak and a murder. Get as far away as you can before she digs her claws in you too deeply."

"Shut up." Morro holds me tighter as the wind inside starts to pick up.

"No. I'm trying to help you. Run now before she can-" Julius is cut off by a flying DVD case. Everything lightweight starts zipping around the room in a circle. "What the heck?"

Morro starts his intimidation by breaking the glass with the treats inside. He then lifts the candy up and lets it join the tornado he's making. "She's may have made mistakes. But so have I. And I wouldn't recommend talking anymore."

"I'm calling the police." Julius reaches for the phone when a Twix bar flies into the wall next to the phone.

"Katara has told you, she's not that person anymore and yet you are only looking at the past. And while she's moved on you're still stuck in a single spot. Stuck in being a victim, stuck in being vulnerable. How pathetic. Go cry me a river, Katara's trying to fix her mistakes while you're still crying like a child." Morro sets everything back down and the wind stops, "Perhaps she did something bad to you. But she's trying to be a better person."

Quiet. The sound of the air conditioner flows quietly as Julius whimpers in fear. "G-get out of my store." He whimpers as Morro guides me out.

"You didn't have to do that. I deserved whatever he was going to say about me." I look down as the door open.

"He's an idiot." Morro stops walking and faces me. His hand curl under my chin and pick it up. Having me look into passion grey eyes, "You are smart enough to stop those bad habits. And I don't think the Departed realm allows just anyone back."

"Thank you." I cry not of guilt but of relief. Morro isn't scared of the monster in me, he knows it exists but can also see the beauty. My head falls on his chest as his arms hold me close. It is a nice moment..so the natural first thing to happen is for his phone to go off. He picks it up but still holds me as people pass us.

"Hello? Oh..Hey....wait, what?" Morro rubs the back of my head as someone gibbers on the other end. "Explain when we get there. Bye." Morro hangs up.

"Who was it?" I take a deep breath as my tears stop coming.

"Kai. Jezzie is at the cave." Morro lets go and dragons up as I turn on my wings. "Something happened to Seliel."

"That's not good." I flap as we reach the westward side of town. "Hopefully Jezzie will still be there for a beat down from us."

"I don't know. The cave is pretty far." Morro bites his lips as I land behind him, I'd need all my strength for a fight.

"What did you mean by, I've made mistakes too?" I ask as the wind pushes us faster.

Morro almost stops the wind from the statement. "You're not the only person that's hurt people."

"I'm sure I'm the only one that has nearly killed my sibling." I smile at my attempted to open him up.

"Try attempted killing on the Ninja with a windmill."

"Oh?" I question as Morro realizes what he said.

"I mean.."

"No. I want to hear about this." I kiss his cheek to seal the deal as the sun starts to get in our eyes.

{Location: Samurai X cave}(Seliel's POV)

"You guy really aren't that smart." Jezzie taunts as she grinds like the Joker.

Cole pulls out his scythe as Jay charges up. "How'd you find us?"

"I lived with you remember?" Jezzie sing-songs her voice making my ears want to run. "I read your minds and knew all about Nya's secret cave." I think I see a glimmer of anticipation in her dark eyes, "I see you still have a weak link." Jezzie points to me as I pull out a dagger.

Kai holds up his hands, both are on fire. "Seliel far from weak."

"Mabey weak is the wrong word. How about normal?" Jezzie pulls her own dagger out. Snaps her finger and it elevates against my stomach where my armor isn't.

Willow pulls out her bow. "Last opportunity, leave us and get out of Jezzie."

"But why would I do that?" Jezzie cackles as her mystery plan for her being in here slowly unfolds, "The Overlord and I are learning so much from each other."

"So who are we talking to?" Zane gets on the table, ready for action. "Jezzie or the Overlord?"

"Foolish Nindroid. We are one. Jezzie and the Overlord and bounded in a way you can't even comprehend."

Skylor fires up. "Sorry, there's can only be one nutbar we deal with at a time."

Everyone had either powers on or weapons out at this point. Kit whimpers as her eyes flash white repeatedly.

"I'm no nutbar. I'm your nightmare. The forever enemy. The dark master." Jezzie snaps her fingers as I am teleported in front of her and over the side of the catwalk and she grabs my neck as her dagger still presses against my stomach. "And as a master, I have much to teach." Jezzie reaches her hand into my chest, magically past my armor and flesh and squeezes my heart. "Lesson one, I won't fight fair."

"LET HER GO!" Cole screams and shoves his scythe in the ground.

"Careful." Jezzie squeezes harder and I whimper from the pain. "Normal girls are so fragile. You might rip out their hearts." Jezzie does just that, she pulls back and in her hand is a glowy heart. If seeing my heart out of my chest was bad, then next thing was worst. Somehow, I couldn't feel anymore. No hate, anger, fear, joy, apathy, sadness, grief, love is present in my body.

Jay crackles more electricity, "What the frack?"

"What. Did. You. DO?" Willow curls her words at the horrible sight.

"I'm evening the playing field." Jezzie gives the heart a small squeeze and my vision goes red. She stops and it goes away. "It doesn't seem like it but this is a gift." She tosses the heart on the floor and the heart rolls a bit. "Next time don't fall for a normal girl." Jezzie crackles in evil delight as she brings her own dagger to my stomach.

Cole takes a step forward, "Seliel." Cole winches at the sight, the earth starts shaking for him.

"You have three days to get ready. The horns will sound when your time is up." Jezzie wags her finger like telling a toddler no. "I would wish you luck..but I will win no matter what you do." Jezzie holds me further over the edge of the walkway and drops me. Stalagmites come into view as sharp pain pokes my left chest, shoulder, and leg.

The sound of shots and elements being fired collide together as I expect to bleed out. Blood comes but death does not. I finally get bored and pull the knife out. With what dim light is available, I get to watch the knife hole in me close, not even leaving a scar. I then heave myself off the stalagmites. Once my feet are on the floor my uniform is soaked in my bloody mess and still is dripping.

"Seliel." Cole rushes down the steps and holds me. The wounds seal themselves with no pain. I expect blush when he holds me, none comes.

"What happened to me?" I want to panic but nothing. I want to feel frustrated, instead, I feel like the robot that killed my mother. Nothing. "Cole." My voice is calm when it's should sound panicked. "I can't feel anything."

"What the heck is this thing?" Lloyd picks up the heart in a cloth as Cole guides me up the stairs.

"That...That shouldn't be possible." Willow mutters.

"Willow," Zane asks while scanning the mysteries object, "What maham has Jezzie made this time?"

"I have no idea." Willow whimpers as she takes the heart and looks at it closely. "This is beyond me."

"You're ok." Cole holds me tighter.

I want to cry. I wasn't ok but I can't feel sadness. "I don't think I am." I try to piece together what happened to me. I quickly kiss Cole's check without a second thought. Nothing. I try again. And again.

"What's wrong with her?" Jay accidentally lets off electricity that zaps the heart. I react like I was on an electric fence all of a sudden and bolt up, smacking Cole with my forehead.

"Oh. My. Wings." Willow figures part of it out. "I'm going to kill that woman."

"What did she do?" Cole picks me up. I should have blush and feel a storm of butterflies in my stomach.

"I think Jezzie has somehow pulled Seliel's emotion out of her." Willow holds the heart, the closer it gets to me the more human I feel. "And put in this."

"So..I'm literally heartless?" I felt my chest, inside something is still pumping blood.

Quiet.

Pixel types a few commands in the computer. "Perhaps Katara know how to help."

"Call Morro." Lloyd frowns in deep anger. "We have plenty of other calls to make." Lloyd pulls out his phone.

"I promise. We'll fix this." Cole rubs my hands.

Nothing. No emotion. "I think I'm scared," I mutter as he sets me down.

"She's going to pay," Nya promises and pulls out her own phone.

Kai holds Skylor as he makes his own call. "We're ending this now."

"We'll get past this." Cole rubs my back. I think I hate feeling nothing.
