{Location: New Ninjago City}(Lloyd's POV)

"Skylor, these are fantastic," Jay screams as he stirrups down noodles.

"Not bad. Let's see if the cake can pass the Cole-mouth test." Cole reaches for strawberry shortcake.

"How can you two eat so much. Seriously, it's like you've got vacuums for stomaches." I shake my head as the food keeps coming. It was mid-afternoon so the restaurant isn't packed with people. It smells like spring outside, the fresh air, plants coming out, trees reblooming.

"AANn!" Jay responds with a mouthful of noodle.

Kai's new arm glistens in the restaurant lighting. I'm still getting use to seeing it but it's more noticeable due to the fact he painted it his skin color but had red and gold flame designs on it, but they do look like his uniform, so I guess that makes sense, "What's that, have all my money, Kai. Sure, I'll take it." Kai smiles viciously as he snags Jay's wallet. A quick food fight happens then Skylor gives us look as we stop.

Skylor shakes her head and searches for a mop. "I don't pay myself enough for messes like this."

"Sorry Sky, we'll clean it up." Nya gets up as the t.v. switches to an emergency broadcast.

"Gal Gossip here, and no surprise, Ninjago is under attack. This does feel like another Saturday but I've never seen a threat like this. Take a look." Gal points to the sky, where dozens of people with various animal wings are terrorizing people.

Skylor smiles as we shuffle our way of the booth. "I'll take a raincheck on that cleanup. Looks like you've got a bigger mess to clean up."

"Let's go, team." I spinjitzu into my Gi and run outside. "Ninjago!"

"NINJAGO!" My siblings shout and follow my lead.

"Maybe we should have asked this earlier," Zane unsheath his shurikens and gets battle-ready, "But does anyone have a plan?"

"Or what the heck these things are?" Jay blasts two of them with lightning. They fall but get up too quickly for my taste. "OH COME ON!"

I blast aimlessly into the sky. "Zane, Nya, Cole, you three escort remaining people to safe houses in the city. Kai, Jay and I will draw their fire."

"Better than nothing." Kai pulls his hood on as we spread out to do our jobs.

Left, right, duck, flip and left again. I do my best to eved but whatever these things are, they are powerful and there were many.

"KEI!" I hear female kicks and punches in a nearby ally. For some reason, my heart twists into a knot when I hear it. I shake it off and turn to the noise. Two girls, one is dressed in a white t-shirt with red roses on it. She has a black hoodie that is more white as it gets around her waist with a face mask on. The other girl is taller and has pink and brown sweats on along with a half mask that allows her long blonde hair to be louse. A thing with wings swoops in behind their eyesight.

"Behind you." I spinjitzu into the alley and kick the flying thing into the red-bricked wall. Once it is kicked, I land on my feet. "You two ok?"

"Fine. Duck." The girl in white holds out a small stick the extends into a glowing bow, she pulls back and shoots just above my head.

I twist to see another baddie at my feet. "Great shot."

"Thanks but we can't stay here." The Rose girl drops her bow and pulls out a sword handle.

"Lloyd," The pink girl back handsprings away from me, "Fire now."

A flying monster was in my line of sight, I blast it as the girl ordered.

"Thanks, kid. Now get to safety." I hear monsters closing in behind us.

The Rose girl seems to smirk under her mask. "And leave you with Phoka? Fat change." Then her sword emits a steel blade from nowhere. Something about that weapon is familiar, maybe because it's like the elemental blades my brother's once held?

"Doomsday comic shop. That's the best place." The pink girl stands upright. A 'Phoka' lands in front of her. She does sipnituiz. A pink tornado surrounds her and the monster flies into a building side.

I ignore the pink one's spinning and lead the charge down the alley. "I know where that is, follow me."

Nya waves just outside the comic book shop doors. "Over here."

"Fly off batsie." The Rose girl flips over and kicks an incoming enemy then rolls into the shop.

Once the door is closed and locked I flip off my hood. "Is everybody here?"

"Yup, who'd you pick up?" Kai takes his hood off as do the others.

"DID YOU SEE ME OUT THERE? I WAS LIKE, POW, KABLAM." The pink girl screams and nearly breaks my eardrums. She pulls off her half-mask which shows off her more youthful face. She is maybe ten, she has dimples which compliment her sky blue eyes.

"I was there Kit. And you were Boss." The Rose girl pulls off her hood. I think Jay lets some electricity off and turns on a t.v. The Little Mermaid soundtrack plays the song, Kiss the girl, as the stranger pulls off her face mask. "I'm Willow. This is my sister, Katherine, Kit for short." I feel my jaw drops to the floor as Willow makes her instructions, her hair is half up-half down with little braids that cover her ears.

"Lloyd," Kai quietly walks over to me and closes my mouth, "Stop drooling. Dork."

"You seem familiar. Have we met before?" Nya strokes her chin.

I can barely pay attention as my eyes travel downward to Willow's chest. Bad Lloyd. Her eyes are higher up. But my eyes locked on a heart shaped locket with a green rose on it. Willow apparently sees this and hides the necklace under her shirt.

"Willow. We've met." Cole exclaims quietly, "Remember, in Chen's noodle mine?"

"How could I forget? You threw a tantrum when told you couldn't eat what was being made." Willow's face fights a smile that is associated with the memory.

"You do seem familiar." Jay stops sparking and the t.v. turns off. A loud smack startles me from above. A dozen Phouka are trying to break the reinforced glass.

One with bat wings snarls. "Give us the White Rose and we'll leave you city alone."

"How about you just leave?" Nya shoots water in the crack, spraying the Phoukas with hot water.

"OW!" They scream, some fly away.

"How about we finish this reunion later, we need to get out of the city." Willow pulls out her mini stick again and it shifts in the glow bow from earlier. "Watch your heads." Willow pulls an arrow out and fires. Tendrils of yellow, red and green energy space out and form a bubble on the roof, causing the Phouka to bounce off.

Kai smirks and pulls out his sword. "Ok, that's cool."

"Thanks. And again I say, we need to move." Willow puts the bow away.

I feel my face shift into a frown. "We got a small problem, I can only carry few people on my energy dragon and something tells me, that's the only one that can dragon up right now."

"Lloyd is right," Zane states as injured Phouka get back up, "The probability of all of us making it back to the airgutize temple is slim."

"Right now would be a great time to have Ultra dragon." Nya sighs heavily.

Who needs that boy dragon when I'm here? A cool female voice asks in my head.

"Did anyone else here that voice. I mean, I'm not hearing voices but if you did?" Jay stutterers.

"I heard it too." Kit smiles and throws open the door. "AQUILA!" Kit and Willow run out onto the street as a massive red and turquoise dragon lands on the street.

I leave for the spirit coves and everything has to fallen to pieces. The voice snickers in my head.

"At least you're here now." Willow hugs the nose of the dragon, "Ninja, meet my dragon, Aquila. Aquila, the famous ninja."

"That still doesn't answer my question." Jay huffs.

"Aquila's a mind dragon. You were hearing her voice, but in ya head." Willow lets go and fights blush on her cheeks.

"OK, new plan, team." Cole grips his hands so lava ignites, "We ride Aquila to HQ, Willow and Kit fly while we keep these things away.

"They're called Phouka." Aquile huffs as we climb on.

"Whatever they're called, I'd call 'em dead meat." I get on the top side last and look for a saddle. Kit and Willow sit closer to Aquila's head and grip some spikes on her.

"Hey, where are the saddles?" Zane asks as Phouka from everywhere find us.

"Who needs saddles? Hold on tight." Willow shouts as we take off into the air.

Aquila is much faster than Ultra Dragon. I think I left some Mister Chen's noodles behind as we gain speed.

(Willow's POV)

"WHHOOOO!" Kit squeals in delight. Sometimes she'd shout things to Ninja, like, "FIRE now. Duck." She used her gift of seeing the future well.

"SLOW DOWN!" Jay squeales in distress.

"We're coming in hot." I let a smirk on my face as the airgituze temple comes into sight. Under my breath, I begin the enhancement to protect us from all flying Fays.

"And we have incoming. Positions." Lloyd orders over the wind.

"Eat this, flying turkeys." Kai blasts some with his left hand. The robotic one seems to have more firepower.

Aquila land on the ground with a thud. We jump off. I land next to Kai and far from Lloyd.

"Willow, can you do that protection thingie like you did in the comic shop, here?" Nya asks as she blasted three more.

"With pleasure." I activate my glow bow and shoot an arrow into the sky, lights of yellow, red and green turn into a large bubble and encompass the entire floating island.

"That was close." Jay slouches over in exhaustion.

"At least we're safe now." Zane crosses his arms, "Willow, have you faced these Phouka before?"

"No one has for long, long, long time. But why they've returned now is the question." Wu walks out of nowhere and answers for me.

"Along with a number of other questions. Like where'd you get those weapons?" Kai turns inward to me with everyone else.

Cole smiles as adrenaline pumps his body still. "Or what the heck is protecting us from them now?"

Lloyd pats Kit on her head. "And how this little one has such good timing?" He's gotten taller then what the media says.

Wu hold his hand up, telling them to be quite, "First things first. Our guests should go clean up if they wish to stay." Wu stops the Ninja before more questions could ensue.

"A chance to hang out with the most skill warriors in Ninjago? I think that's a yes." I swallow my next sentence. "And to be with Lloyd again."

"Then we shall ask questions before dinner. Follow me to your rooms." Wu turns and walks to a smaller structure.

"Come here Kitkat." I reach for Kit and almost pick her up like a kid.

Kit holds my hand and swings it as we walk after Wu.

Wu, definitely not remembering us shows us a small room with a kitchen and two beds. "It's not much. I'll leave you two alone until dinner." Wu closes the bamboo doors as Kit goes slacked face.

"Here." I pull out a set of paints and paint brushes and put them in her hand after grabbing them off a table.

We determined that Kit has a three levels of visions, the ones where she'd be able to talk, the ones where she painted with her right dominant hand, and the ones where she used both. Both means it's bad and very close to happening. This time she used both.

"Ok, really not good." I swallow as Kit finished. It is the most horrible one I've seen yet. Lloyd is falling into another realm. The other Ninja are below him but his eyes ask, "Why would you keep this from me?"

"We have to tell them, Willow." Kit sets her tools down and looks at herself, her arms are covered in various paints hues.

"I don't think we should." I sigh as I pull out my locker. "Right now telling them that they fall into who knows where will only make us look crazy. We'd lose credibility." I feel my fingers rub their usual pattern over the face.

"Fine. But I think the final battle's about to happen." Kit sighs.

"As it should. Now, go clean up. I'll take care of this." I walk over and kiss the side of her head.

(Lloyd's POV)[A few moments later]

"Move over." Jay shoves me out of an eye hole. Right now the six of us are in between walls in Kit and Willow's rooms.

Zane hisses. "There is plenty of eye holes. Find one."

"Everyone quiet." Nya orders. "She's right there."

We find our places to look through, Willow is standing in front of a large tarp that wasn't there earlier. She holds some sort of film strip, the kind with mini pictures on it, in her hand and practically drills a hole in it with how much she looks at it. Willow holds up her locket and a click sound happens. A song starts playing. And Willow sings with it. "I have died every day waiting for you." Willow sings and waltzes by herself. I have to fight the urge to get out and dance with her.

"She's great." Kai breaths. I know he was talking about her singing but it was enough to make my face flush with jealousy.

By then of the second chorus Willow has her hands by her ears, she pushes back some hair to show off her pointed ears in private.

I've only seen those ears on the Phouka, is Willow one of them? I stay put despite my confusion. The end of the song comes. Small static comes as Willow stops dancing, then something impossible happens. I hear myself talking. "That's all I got Rosie. I love you. I promise to never forget you." A recording of my voice click off and Willow sighs.

"I wish you'd never promised that Greenie." Willow talks to the picture. My heart twists like a knife is there with all the feelings that are rushing around.

"What the what?" Jay whispers. Willow steps forward and trips on a rug and the picture in her hand flies to us, it lands on our side of the wall. Willow is coming to retrieve it when Kit calls.

"Willy, I need help. I think I just stained the sink blue." Kit's worry is heavy in her voice.

"Coming." Willow turns and goes to help her sister.

Cole leads the way out. "Let's move."

"Perfect, now we have even more questions." I bite my lower lip in frustration.

"Like how did we all forget Lloyd had a girlfriend." Kai holds up the picture so we all could see. In the first shot, Willow sat with her arms crossed, however, I was up close to her with my arms over her shoulder. In the next shot, I kissed her cheek. In the third, she had grabbed my shirt and pulled me in for a full lips on lips kiss. In the last shot, everyone other than my mom and Wu, had crowded the shot but my pink face was still obvious as Willow smirked.

"Eh, ha, Lloyd's heart's on fire." Cole taunts under his breath.

"I don't remember anything about this. And Willow is pretty unforgettable." I cross my arms to think. Then realize what I said, "I mean we..um." I stutter.

Nya snatches the picture from Kai and points to Zane in the picture. "Guys, take a closer look."

Jay squints. "That's when Zane was in his first design."

"And look," Zane observes while rubbing his chin. "We're wearing our elemental Kimonos, so this was after the final battle but before we became teachers."

"Let's go talk with Wu and Misako about this. Lloyd, can you give Kit and Willow a tour long enough to keep them busy?" Kai asks as the sun begins to set.

"Sure thing. Just don't take forever." I turn to knock on the door and pretend to have not heard or seen something I shouldn't have.
