Tonight Baizhu was though the forest with ChiChi because she wanted to pick flowers. And as they split up to do so he noticed ChiChi has been gone a little while and decided to go look for her.

And as he was looking around he saw her talking to someone sitting against a tree not looking so good. And as he got closer he saw the person looked very pale and injured there eyes glossed over looking dead and it was confirmed when ChiChi said

ChiChi : he's like ChiChi?"

Baizhu : oh?"

Kaeya looked at Baizhu and had this animalistic look like he was prey but then looked at ChiChi and calmed down.

Baizhu : seems like he trust you ChiChi. Now I wonder what happened to him"

ChiChi : he can't talk. Makes growl sounds but ChiChi understands."

Baizhu : what does he want?"

ChiChi : he said he was told to come find you by Klee that you would help him"

Baizhu : oh that girl......hmm I think I remember you. Kaeya correct?"

Kaeya just looked at him which Baizhu took as a yes

Baizhu :  how interesting I do wonder how you ended up like this. Do you remember?"

ChiChi : he doesn't remember how he died"

Baizhu : ..... well since he came all the way here we should. I'm interested in knowing more about his situation"

ChiChi : ChiChi will show you way"

ChiChi held her hand out to Kaeya to take and he took it as he stood up and Baizhu saw Kaeya's leg was bent in a way that looked painful and broken yet he didn't seem to care.

Few days later Baizhu started to study Kaeya
Seeing how different Kaeya was from ChiChi
They were both zombie yet vastly different.

Unlike ChiChi Kaeya couldn't remember anything to a point.

Baizhu found is strange how he couldn't remember Klee yet didn't attack her and listened to her when she told him to find him.

And was surprised to see from only meeting them once remember ChiChi and him.

Kaeya also couldn't speak due to his vocal cords rotting only making grunts and growls like an animal.

And he didn't seem to have rerigor mortis in fact Kaeya seemed to be able to hurt and bent his body in unnatural ways with break or feeling pain. Everything could snap back in place.

A thing that concerned Baizhu was Kaeya hunger for eating people he hasn't killed anyone yet that he knew of.

But as a safety he tied a bamboo stick around Kaeya mouth giving him something to bite down on so he couldn't bite anyone.

And to help Kaeya's hunger he would feed him food with meat that would mostly have to be raw meat.

The thing he found most strange was that the fact he trusted ChiChi and in return trusted him because ChiChi did.

The fact that ChiChi could understand him and the fact ChiChi memory and speech and rigor mortis seem to be better when around Kaeya.

He started to wonder if ChiChi got infected by him given how she was cleaning his wound and his blood got on a cut she had on his hand.

He was very curious what turned Kaeya but also concerned that whatever turned Kaeya could spread if he bites someone.

Night Baizhu came home and walked into Kaeya's where and saw him sitting in the corner. Where he would often find him just starring off at nothing. He wasn't sure why Kaeya would do it but thought this was another side effect of being the kind of zombie he was nothing much probably went through his head anymore.

Baizhu : how are we feeling tonight?"

Kaeya said nothing didn't even move an inch until he saw what Baizhu brought back. And what he brought was. Raw meat a couple small dead animals in a sack he had a hunter hunt for him so he could give it to Kaeya.

Baizhu then walked over and set thesack down near Kaeya and walked away hearing the sounds of Kaeya feeding.

It wasn't a pleasant sight to see so he never stayed to look. But whenever he came back later there would be no mess like it never happened no evidence which he found out was because Kaeya would hide and clean the mess to not frighten ChiChi.

Despite being undead Kaeya's heart seemed to remain the same in some way.

Later Baizhu found Kaeya upon checking on him still in the corner.

Baizhu : would you mind accompanying me on a walk?"

Baizhu since taking Kaeya in treated Kaeya like he was still human despite the difficulties in hopes it would help Kaeya.

Baizhu : it will be alright."

Baizhu then walked away and soon after Kaeya followed him.

Later during their walk Baizhu decided to try talking to Kaeya.

Baizhu : I know you cannot tell me why you choose to stay in that corner. I can only assume you don't want to hurt someone correct?"

Kaeya looked at him then looked away which Baizhu took as yes.

Baizhu. : what happened to you are you not happy having a second chance would you have preferred to stay dead"

Kaeya only nodded it was clear he wasn't happy being alive again in this state. And that's why he stood in his room.

He already lived his life he had no point in living because his time was over yet he was still here.

So Baizhu attempted to cheer him up offer a new purpose in his undead life.

Baizhu : I wouldn't say it's all bad. ChiChi seems Happy to have someone like her. And you have helped her quite a lot. She has better memory because of you.

Which is something she's Always had trouble with and she's very happy about that.

You can always find new meaning to life a new reason to live. but in the end if you cannot find it. There's ChiChi.

She'll have someone to be her friend in the end with her. So that could be your new meaning to life"
