I smiled at Tyler and let him pull me up. The adrenaline rush from earlier slowing down as I took heavy breathes and my heart calmed down.

"I think the actual fight only lasted about two minutes this time." My best friend and teammate told me as we walked out of the room and into an all concrete hallway. He brushed his bangs to the side of his forehead as he turned to look at me with a grin.

I confidently smirked at his words and looked back in front of me as I walked beside him. My attention focusing in on the guy I had just obliterated a few minutes ago during my training session, he now sat on a gurney outside of the room and next to the concrete wall. A medic was tending to his wound and a very bloody nose. He smiled at me as we came to a halt in front of him.

"You did good in there, kiddo." He chuckled and gave a slight nod of respect to me from where he sat.

"Thanks, Rick, but after that,I'd prefer you didn't call me 'kiddo'. Remember I've still got a few moves left I didn't use in there." I teasingly threatened him, putting my hand on my hip, earning a chuckle from Tyler who stood next to me, quietly listening to our conversation, though having to look down when I spoke due to his height of 6'2", and me being only 5'7".

He put his hands up in playfully surrender and nodded once again, laughing aloud. "Will do, Miss Lily." He said calmly, and I smiled at the man who was like an uncle to me.

"Sorry for being so hard on you, Rick." I apologized, mentally grimacing at the blood that ran down the side of his forehead and to his firm jawline of his white but tanned skin. A few wrinkles appearing on his forehead and around his mouth the older he got. Worry and stress starting to show on him and bags under his blue eyes. A few flakes of dandruff visible in his sandy blonde hair.

He waved me off with a causal grin and a wave of the hand, "It's fine, just another story to tell the young'ins when I get home." He paused and looked at me as if studying me,"You know, you are already like their role-model to them when I tell them about some of your training sessions. They think you are just the coolest." He commented and chuckled at the end.

I smiled even more at him,"aww well let them know I said hi." I said through a small laugh as I thought about his twin girls. Courtney and Rebekah were the cutest nine year olds your would probably ever meet. They had the same sandy blonde hair as their dad and the vivid green eyes of their mom.

He nodded and smiled before turning his gaze to my partner beside me,"Hey, Tyler."

Tyler waved his hand in greeting and smiled,"hey, Rick, nice to see you're still alive after that last training session." He commented with a small smirk.

Rick nodded and laughed at Tyler's expression."Aye, I'm definitely starting to grow to old for this kind of thing anymore." He said as he brought his hand to the back of his neck and rubbed his probably aching neck.

Tyler nodded, a grin forming on his lips,"You are like what? 85?" He snickered.

Rick rolled his eyed and shook his head, amused by him.'"Watch it son," He teased back,"I'm not that old, only 40." He stated in a playful manner.

Tyler nodded and ended it with a laugh."Are Ryan and Eli gonna be okay?" He asked Rick.

I looked at him curious about the same thing. Not only had I messed up Rick pretty bad, but Ryan and Eli got pretty banged up in the training session.

Rick nodded,"Oh yeah, their tough guys, they'll live." He said looking back at me.

I nodded starting to go back into my blank expression I liked to keep. "We gotta go, the director wants to meet with us." I told him quietly, glancing back at him.

He nodded, and waved,"Well, I'll see you two around, take care." He said and looked at Tyler,"Keep an eye out for her and keep her out of trouble." He told Tyler. Tyler looked at me out of the corner of his eye and gave me his signature smile."Always try to, sir." I could only roll my eyes and turn to walk off without waiting up for Tyler.

I stayed silent as I walked down the hall, hearing footsteps behind me as Tyler ran to catch up to me after saying his final fairwell to Rick.

"Lily?" I heard him say as he slowed to a walk,having caught up to me.

I glanced at him from the corner of my eye, his dark brown hair and chiseled chin catching my eye, before turning back to look in front of me. "Hmm?"

"You should go see a medic first. We still have time before we need to be at the office, and you are bleeding." He explained to me, worry and concern clear in his voice.

I sighed and rolled my eyes,"Ty, I'm fine..." I trailed off."Don't even try and make me go." I warned him, before he could say anything more.

He had always been like that toward me, I never knew why. Much like his usual flirting I found it completely unnecessary. I suppose it was because he cared. He cared about others much more than I did. Other people were never my top priority. I had missions and others things to do then waste time.

Being in the United Nations Investigation Agency was a big deal, and to get in took a lot of hardwork and dedication, all of which I had spent five years or more of my life doing. It having been my life goal, and I was finally here. I wasn't going to slack off now.

I glanced at Tyler again after a long period of his silence, and then closed my eyes quietly signing after seeing him looking forward as we walked, staring off into space.

But I was immediately ripped out of my nice peace and quiet, when an arm wrapped around my shoulder and pulled me to the right. I gasped a little without even taking a moment to open my eyes before I grabbed the arm and flipped the body in front of me. I opened my eyes and they widened as I looked down at my attacker. Or who I thought was my attacker.

"Hey, Lily.."
