Akala's(in pic) P.O.V

The smell of blood completely overpowers any other scent. My lips curl up in disgust the same scent I smelled for 5 years. I could never get used to the putrid smell of blood. Ever since I was 13 I've been acquainted to the sickening smell. I walk over the bodies which had been viciously massacred. And some had their eyes open with horror others had their eyes closed I see the body of a 10 year old little girl with a teddy bear in her arms. I walked closer to see the little girl her hair dark brown her skin pale with a hint of color. Her chest moves up a little she's inhaling then back down, exhale.

"Guys I think we got a survivor!" I smiled

We brought the little girl into the hospital side of the base. I go find Echo my pet timber wolf. My wolf print birthmark on the side of my shoulder glowed as I neared her. She finally catches my scent (I had been downwind) and she sprinted over happily, tackling me to the ground in the process. She begins to lick my face and I giggle.

"I missed you too Echo." I managed to finally to say, while running my finger in her jet black fur.

"Akala..." A angry voice utter. I stood up tensely.

"Mom I was just-" She put her hand up to stop me from speaking any further. I look down. She glared at me.

"I thought you were supposed to be training." She says enraged.

"Mom I just came back from a mission and-" She cuts me off.

"Nonetheless you should be training."

"Mom I'm tired I had to carry this little girl the whole way here can I rest please."

"Fine, you may rest." She finally caves.

"Thank you, mother." And she walks away.

Echo and I walk back to the hospital wing.

"Akala." The guards guarding the little girl salute.

"At ease soldiers, I just want your men to alert me when she wakes up." They nod.

I jog to my room with Echo hot on my tail. We jump on my bed I curl into my blanket and Echo curls around me protectively and I closed my eyes into a deep sleep.

Hope you guy liked it this is my first original published here and I haven't written in a while...I know you guys have been patiently waiting on updates but I had writer's block for a while but I will try to update as soon possible.
