Not Just a fan..

Jungkook sat on his bunk, a wide smile spreading across his face as he read Yeoda's letter. His eyes sparkled with amusement, and his heart felt lighter.

Kim Taehyung, his fellow soldier and bandmate and Yeoda's brother as well, approached, grinning mischievously. "Kook, what's got you beaming like that?"

Jungkook hastily folded the letter, trying to compose himself. "Just...just a friend, Tae." He cleared his throat, attempting to sound nonchalant.

Taehyung raised an eyebrow. "A friend, huh? Must be some friend." His gaze turned knowing. "Yeoda, perhaps?"

Jungkook's face remained neutral, but Taehyung's words struck a chord. He knew Taehyung was Yeoda's brother, and the connection made things more complicated.

Taehyung leaned in, whispering, "Kook, I won't tell anyone, but you should know – Yeoda's been writing those letters for months. She's invested and I have never seen her this much invested on someone..
It's been you since the first day kookie.."

Jungkook's heart skipped a beat. He glanced at the folded letter, feeling a mix of emotions.

"Take care of my sister, Kook," Taehyung said, his expression serious. "She's not like other fans and I'm glad if you already noticed it."

Jungkook nodded, his mind racing. He knew Taehyung was right – Yeoda was different.

Taehyung's gaze softened. "I'm not asking as your bandmate or fellow soldier, but as her brother. Be genuine with her, Kook."

Jungkook's eyes met Taehyung's, understanding the unspoken message.

Jungkook nodded, his mind racing. "I understand, Tae. I'll take care of her."

He paused, looking at Taehyung with a serious expression. "But what if...what if I feel the same way?"

Taehyung's eyes widened, surprise etched on his face. "Kook, you're not just saying that because of the letters, are you?"

Jungkook shook his head. "No, Tae. I mean it. There's something about Yeoda...her energy, her passion...it draws me in."

Taehyung leaned back, a thoughtful look on his face. "I knew Yeoda was special, but I didn't realize...Wow, Kook, you're really into her."

Jungkook chuckled, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. "Am I that obvious?"

Taehyung grinned. "To me, yes. But don't worry, your secret's safe." He paused, serious again. "Just remember, Kook, Yeoda's not just any fan. She's my sister, and I'll always protect her."

Jungkook nodded solemnly. "I understand, Tae. I'll make sure to treat her right."

As Taehyung walked away, Jungkook's thoughts swirled. What did the future hold for him and Yeoda? He couldn't wait to find out.

Suddenly, his phone buzzed with an incoming text from Taehyung.

"Kook, don't mess this up."

Jungkook chuckled, shaking his head.

What he was getting himself into with this feisty, Lovable fan..?

'Time to text her now'

He thought as he sent her a text.

"Hello baby girl~😏"

Yeoda's eyes lit up as she read Jungkook's text. "Hey babygirl~"

She smiled, remembering their previous conversation.

Yeoda: "Missed you, Soldier. What took you so long to text me again?"

Jungkook chuckled. Yeoda never failed to amuse him.

Jk: "Tae's been keeping me on my toes. But I couldn't resist your charms for long😘"

Yeoda's heart skipped a beat. Charms?

Yeoda: "Oh? And what charms might those be kook?😏"

Jungkook's fingers flew across the keyboard.

Jk: "Your sass, your humor, your love for BTS... and your love for .......
me😏"

Yeoda's face flushed, but she couldn't help but grin.

Yeoda: "You're getting bold, Soldier!"

Jungkook chuckled.

Jk: "Someone's got to keep up with you, Sass Queen"

Yeoda's heart fluttered but she pushed it away as she focused on texting.

Yeoda: "What's the plan when you get back from the military?"

Jungkook's thoughts turned serious.

"I want to see you, Yeoda. In person."

Yeoda's breath caught. That statement of him is something that she didn't and never expected but still here it is...
Making her feel a explosion of feelings making her heart ache with emotions that she have never experienced before. Is she really Falling in love with her idol? The thought itself gave her a shiver run down her spine and to make her heart beat in 2x speed as her trembling fingers typed.

Yeoda: "Promise?"

Jungkook's response was immediate and felt so genuine.

Jk: "Promise."

Yeoda's smile softened.

Yeoda: "I'll hold you to that."

Jungkook's heart swelled with the new found emotion for her.

Jk: "I'm counting on it."

As he texted Yeoda, Jungkook couldn't shake off the excitement coursing through his veins. He had never felt this way about anyone before.

Yeoda's sass and humor drew him in, but it was more than that. She saw him – truly saw him – beyond the K-pop idol facade.

Jungkook's thoughts drifted to their upcoming meeting. What would it be like to hold her hand, look into her eyes, and share his true self?

A mix of emotions swirled inside him:

Nervousness: What if their chemistry didn't translate in person?

Excitement: What if this was the start of something real?

Anticipation: What would Yeoda think of him, flaws and all?

As he gazed at their chat log, Jungkook realized his feelings for Yeoda went beyond infatuation. He was falling for her, Falling for his feisty fangirl.

As he gazed at Yeoda's texts once again, Jungkook's mind wandered to their unusual connection. She was Taehyung's sister, yet she never leveraged their familial tie to get close to him.

That intrigued Jungkook. In the K-pop world, connections and favors were constantly sought. But Yeoda chose a different path.

She sent letters, just like any other fan, through the official fan mail channel. No special treatment, no exploiting her brother's influence.

Jungkook admired her humility and sincerity. Yeoda's words, poured onto those pages, spoke directly to his heart.

"If she wanted, she could've easily asked Tae for my number or arranged a meeting," Jungkook thought. "But she chose the humble route, treating me like any other fan."

This realization deepened Jungkook's feelings for Yeoda. She saw him as a person, not just a celebrity.

"Her letters were genuine, not influenced by her brother's status," Jungkook reflected. "She likes me for who I am, beyond the stage."

A warm feeling spread through his chest. Yeoda's approachable nature and kind heart made him feel seen and appreciated.
