"Mamu, please? I promise, this is all for professional reasons. There is no personal thing in between. I will just live with him for the sake of my case. And as soon as the case will be over. I will dump him and his house. This is not a live in relationship Mamu, we will be staying in separate rooms, no personal touch. Pakka!" I tried my best to convince Mamu, but looked like, he was not convinced by any of my justifications. How will he be? When the devil was sitting in front of us and was trying his best to make Mamu convince to reject my offer.

"Freedom, badi hogayi hai Abbu, why will she listen to us? She is independent, she wants to live her life on her own terms, yeh bhi yeh formality kar rahi hai. Everything will have been planned, I know. " The devil aka my small cousin brother Asad Gilani spoke. And I couldn't help myself but to shoot daggers from my eyes to him to which he winked at me. I wished I could kill him here, right now,in front of his parents only.

"Chup kar, I know my Swadheenta, she won't do any wrong thing. She will stay with that IAS only for the sake of the case and will be back with us, once she finishes it. Ab maan bhi jao Ji, don't you trust our daughter ?" My Mami aka Zubeida Gilani spoke and I ran and hugged her, she was the best. I teased Asad and he made a grumpy face.

"Okay, fine. I am allowing you, but you won't betray our trust right? I won't be able to face your parents, if you do so. You are my responsibility, Swadheenta. I can't let anything happen to you. Go, and deal with your case. Then come back here. Fine?" And finally my Mamu aka Haider Gilani spoke and I nodded. "I promise, Mamu. I won't do anything that will make you unhappy or sad. And I'll be back soon." I hugged Mamu and he stroked my head while Asad got all emotional and hugged us both. "Freedom, I'll miss you, but don't worry, I will come to meet you everyday." He kissed my cheek cutely while I adored him and ruffled his hair. After some time, Mami also joined us and we all shared a happy family hug.

"Adarsh, have you lost your mind? You want to live with a girl,whom we barely know, just for the sake of a case? Come on, it can happen if you stay here. Or why don't you invite her to stay with us, we have rooms?" Adarsh looked on while his Mom, Mrs Suhasini Sinha enquired, and why won't she? After all she was the best lawyer in town.

"Mom, it's just a matter of few months, and Maine yeh sab aapse hi toh seekha hai,whatever you do, do it with your heart. You have also investigated some cases by changing your get up. But I am only living somewhere else, to discuss the case with lawyer and come to some conclusions, that's it. Mom, come on! You trust your son, right?" Adarsh clarified, and made a puppy face, which he knew won't lose ever, and obviously, The best lawyer in town had to give up to her son, after all he was her favourite son.

"I trust you beta, but the thing is the people whom I have trusted have always let me down, that's why, I am scared. What if you also let me down? " Suhasini looked at her youngest son Abhay, who was an IPS officer, but had let her down because he opted a love marriage. He had committed a crime by marrying Simmi, the love of his life.

"Mom, please. Not now. I promise you, I won't let you down, ever. Itna bharosa toh hai na apne favourite bete par? " Adarsh asked to which Suhasini nodded and patted his cheek lovingly. "You finish your case, till then, I will find a bride for you. It's long time, you get married now. Okay?" Suhasini asked and Adarsh nodded thinking in mind. 'What should I tell you, Mom? Maine toh aapki bahu dhundh li hai, bas use patana baaki hai. Isliye toh jaa raha hoon. ' I mentally thought and my mom opened her arms to hug me, and I hugged her back.
