I was rudely awoken by the glaring sun that shone right through my widely opened curtains since I forgot to shut them before going to sleep yesterday. I was so tired that I couldn't even be bothered to get up, I just turned away from the light and continued to shut my eyes one more time. But no sooner than I have, my door was flung open and knowing its the only woman whom I shared a roof with I groaned in annoyance

“Rise and shine cupcake its a brand new day” She chirped happily and no later I felt my bed dip and my hair being ruffled. I opened my eyes giving up on ever peacefully falling back asleep and simply looked at her while she smiled down at me

“You couldn't have given me a few more minutes before you could bother me” She laughed and folded her legs and I decided to just sit up and lean back on my head dresser letting the cold surface cool my hot exposed back. “I mean I could have used five more minutes of sleep you know”

“And let you miss out on the beauty of thia morning sun? What kind of foster mother will I be if I did that” She grabbed my head and turned it towards the blinding sun that was shining through my curtains and I raised my hand to block it from making me blind. “Isn't it wonderful?” She was smirking, I could hear it in her voice and I knew this was her way of punishing me for yesterday. She let go of my head and turned back to look at her

“Yeah bloody fantastic, can I sleep now?”

“Nope, you my dear have a very interesting day ahead of you. Starting with cleaning this room after you've showered” She stood up and waved at me while the smirk was still present on her face. I knew she was punishing me

“Yeah whatever” She laughed at my sour mood and angry expression. “Have fun” She mocked and left right after that, not even closing my door. I decided to not obey and just slip back into my covers and sleep a few more hours before this 'interesting day' starts for me. But I jolted right up at the blow horn that sounded like a bomb just exploded in my ears and covered them up with my hands. I glared at the laughing maniac that was right beside my bed laughing up a storm

“You couldn't help yourself could you” She just continued to laugh even snorted a few times, tears were streaming like the nile river down her cheeks and she held the stupid horn on her hands. If I didn't respect her as much as I did, I would've kicked her out of my room and locked it

“Oh my your face! Priceless” If my eyea had lazers she would've long combusted into ashes with the way I was glaring at her. “I would pay good money to see that again” She was laughing so hard that my glare melted and I found myself smiling as she continued to laugh. Its been a while since I've seen her smile, let along laugh like this. Ever since I moved in eight months ago, all she ever did was frown and I would sometimes hear her cry in her room at night and it was because of me

Now here she was laughing for the first time ever. It was nice. She wiped her tears and snickered as she was trying to control her laughter. After a while of her snickering she stopped and just smiled at me. “Joke's aside, you really need to clean this room and tidy your wardrobe. Its like a hurricane went through there, seriously look after yourself”

“Yeah you said that already, can you go now so I can clean in peace”

“Get up first, or I blow this horn again. Directly in your ear this time”

“Fine” I kicked my covers and got up exposing my spider man boxers and stretching my muscles up. “I'm up happy now” She pinched my cheeks like I was two years old and she was proud of me after leaning to say her name or something. I swatted her hands and scowled at her

“See, it wasn't so difficult now was it? Shower and clean so we can go get you that job”

She strutted out of my room while I gaped at her. Wait she was serious about the job thing? Oh hell no

“You were'nt joking about the job thing? I thought you were just saying that, not that you were going to actually do it!” I heard her laugh from across the hall and I groaned falling backwards into my bed

“No such luck Kiddo”

Ah fiddle sticks!!!
