Just as Sana had thought, once she returned to her apartment she found it swarmed with police officers and pro heroes.

However, as the police had let her go and she was the resident, she was still allowed to go inside and grab a few necessities - not like she had anything else.

Nothing in her shared apartment with her brother gave any sign that they were related to Endeavour. Sure there were news articles featuring his greatness and whatnot, but his crossed out face and the half burned pages were enough for the police to assume that they weren't on good terms with the man.

The police officer who had interviewed her, a man named Tamakawa, had noticed her reaction towards Endeavour and had reassured her it had just been her anxiety of being in the presence of the number two pro hero. Sana had nodded and said it might've been just that.

He had been very nice and considerate, steering away from questions when he noticed she wasn't comfortable answering them, but also constantly reminding her she was safe now.

Letting her leave to her apartment to get some things and then leaving her on her own to see how she'd live another day was, in her textbook, nowhere near the definition of safe.

She didn't know where the League was, didn't know what they were planning.

She had no idea how the fight turned out.

She had no idea if her brother was still alive.

Oh god, Dabi.

Immediately a wave of panic crashed over her and drowned her in worry.

The last thing she knew before she'd been warped away, was, that Dabi had been knocked unconscious by some flying debris and that was that. She could only assume what had happened to him. She didn't like assuming.

With a small shake in her hands Sana began to gather some things she needed in a bag, including one of Dabi's jackets. She doubted that the League would try to get her back after what happened there and if this was the last thing she could have of her twin brother, so be it.

Once finished, Sana bid the officers goodbye and left. They said they'd tell her once she can come back, but she doubted it. After all, a criminal had lived there for years, maybe they could find something useful.

The thought that Dabi was a criminal but she wasn't didn't sit well with Sana. Sure, Dabi had murdered people and she had been to cowardly to, but she still had done things she wasn't proud of.

The police however made it look like she had been manipulated by the League of Villains as well as by her brother.

Another thing that didn't sit well with her. The cops now knew of her and Dabi being siblings. Another piece of information that, if he could put two and two together, would let Endeavour figure out just who they were.

And Sana wasn't sure if she wanted him to find out his two eldest children were still alive.

"Sana!"

Named woman turned around to find Yamada Hizashi running her way, looking just slightly out of breath.

Sana was startled to see the blond pro hero running her way, stopping where she stood, waiting for him to come to a halt.

Once the man reached her, he stemmed his hands on his knees and gasped for air, eliciting a small chuckle from Sana.

It took Hizashi a minute or two to finally catch his breath again and when he finally did, he looked up to find Sana looking away again, not meeting his gaze. Her mask was on again. After seeing her on the news with the League, not wearing her mask, he could understand how she felt more comfortable with it on.

Her brows were furrowed and there was a sad look in her grey eyes.

Finally Hizashi stood straight again, looking down at the ravenette in front of him. For a moment he didn't remember just what he wanted to say.

"If it's nothing important then I think I should go," Sana muttered and turned to leave, stopping when Hizashi grabbed her arm and prevented her from going.

"I know you don't have a place to stay at at the moment, so why won't you come stay with me. Then we can talk and you'd have a roof over your head," Hizashi proposed.

Sana looked back up at him and softly shook her head "Thank you, Hizashi, but I don't think-"

"Then don't think. Come with me. Stay at my place as long as you like."

He watched as tears welled up in her eyes as she replied "I can't, not after what I've done to hurt you."

Sana gently tried to pull her arm from his grip, but was thoroughly surprised when he pulled her in for a hug. Hizashi wrapped his arms around her in a tight but gentle grip, to show her he was there and that what she'd done didn't change his view.

Slowly she wrapped her arms around his middle, sinking into the embrace, her face buried in his shoulder.

"Come to my place and stay as long as you like. We can talk all you want or stare at walls in silence. All I want is for you to be there, to know you're safe. Please," Hizashi mumbled, his chin resting on top of her head, eyes closed as he relished in the embrace.

She couldn't say no. She had no place to go and if this was Hizashi forgiving her, then there was no way she could say no. Not to him, not when he ran after her and pleaded for her to go home with him.

"What about the others?", she muttered softly. She couldn't help but wonder how Aizawa and Kayama would react, since she's met them before and they were Hizashi's closest friends.

"Nemuri's actually the one who gave me the final push to ask you to come live with me. She trusted me the entire time and, believe it or not, she actually likes you. And Aizawa, well, he's still holding a grudge, but that's Aizawa for you. I would be surprised if he didn't."

Sana smiled softly at his words, considering his offer.

And in all honesty, what else did she have to lose?

"Well then, would you like to show me the way home?", she asked softly and when she met Hizashi's gaze, his red eyes were set alight in euphoria.
