From the story that Sana told him, it already made sense. All of it finally clicked together.

Why she covered her face with a mask, even though scars are the most usual facial features in their hero society.

Why she had a fighting style similar to Todoroki.

Why she had a panic attack when seeing Endeavour at the hideout raid.

Why she was terrified of talking to him at the police station.

It just all made sense.

Hizashi took a moment to let it all sink in and Sana gave it to him. She knew it's a lot, especially if a supposedly dead person has actually been alive for ten years since their 'death'.

The two sat in silence for a while, until Hizashi spoke up "Why do you trust me with this information?"

Sana frowned at him, not sure whether his response had some hidden intent in it or if he was just generally curious.

"I trust you with it because you're the only person I have left now," she replied honestly, letting her finger trail along the rim of her cup of tea.

"I don't know where my brother is and I have no way to contact him since I hurled my phone across the room. I don't know how he's doing, I don't know what the League is doing and I don't know what they'll do to me. To them, I'm most likely a traitor now. Then again, it kind of makes sense, doesn't it?", Sana huffed a small laugh and glanced back up at Hizashi, meeting his red orbs with her grey ones.

So many emotions were going through Hizashi in that moment, that Sana couldn't even tell what his eyes were trying to say. To her it looked like a thunderstorm of pity, admiration and something completely else.

"I understand that it must be a lot to take in, but I just couldn't hide this truth from you any longer, Hizashi, and-"

"Teruha."

She froze right then and there. For the first time in almost over ten years did she hear her actual name and, deep down in her gut, the way Hizashi said her name made her feel...something.

"I figured maybe you'd like to hear your real name from someone else," Hizashi quickly added and quickly set his cup of tea aside when he saw tears welling up in Sana's eyes, a wave of panic crashing over him as he thought what he said was wrong.

"I'm so sorry I thought maybe it's okay and maybe you wanted to hear me say it and-" Hizashi cut himself off when he saw a bright smile spread on her face and he felt his chest tighten.

Sana let out a laugh and quickly wiped a tear away that had already escaped the corner of her eye, before cautiously reaching out her hands and taking Hizashi's in her own.

"You have no idea how long it's been since I've last heard someone other than my brother call me by my actual name. And it makes me really glad that I told you about it."

A broad grin spread on the blond's lips at her words and he gave her hands a small squeeze.

"I'm glad you told me."

Watching how her smile broadened, Hizashi finally found a way to call the tightening of his chest and the stirring in his stomach - he was beginning to fall for the raven haired woman before him and there was probably no way stopping it.

When Hizashi awoke the next day, the morning sun already flooded his bedroom in a warm glow.

A big grin spread on his lips as the memories of yesterday filled his mind, how Teruha had told him her true name and her history, how she'd been comfortable enough for her to tell him.

Teruha.

At the thought of her his stomach filled with butterflies again. Teruha was such a beautiful name - one part meaning 'bright' and the other 'supremacy'. He felt honored to be the first one to know her true story.

After a couple of more minuted of lying around in bed he finally got up, got dressed and headed to the kitchen, from where he could already hear the coffee machine running.

She must've gotten up a tad bit earlier than him, he thought with a small smile.

As he was tying his hair in a messy bun, he stepped into the kitchen, while saying "Good morning, Teruha."

He didn't necessarily have to say her name, he just loved the way it sounded and he figured she liked it too.

"Who's Teruha," a low voice replied and Hizashi jumped at least five feet into the air - at least it felt like that to him, his ceiling was too low for that and he didn't hit his head.

Hizashi squinted to recognize the figure of Aizawa Shota standing there, leaning against the kitchen counter, a cup of coffee in his hands.

"What the hell are you doing here?!", Hizashi nearly shouted, but still cautious because of Teruha who was still asleep as he now realized.

"I have your second set of keys and you didn't respond to my calls so I figured I'd drop by. Since, in case you forgot, we're teachers and we're having a meeting today, regarding what happened the last few days," Shota stated bluntly, taking a sip of his coffee, before he once again asked "Who's Teruha?"

Just as Hizashi was about to say something, he heard the door of the guest bedroom open. While a hint of panic crossed his features, since he didn't know how Shota would react, the raven haired man just raised an eyebrow with a hint of amusement glinting in his eyes.

"What's going on?", Teruha asked softly as she stepped into the kitchen, only for her eyes to widen at the sight of Aizawa standing there.

Said man looked like he was about to drop his coffee. Hizashi couldn't exactly tell what was going on in the male's mind and in all honesty, he didn't want to know.

Shota's look of surprise quickly turned into a frown and both Hizashi and Teruha could tell the gears were turning in his head.

"As far as I know, there are few ice quirk wielding women out there named Teruha," Shota spoke up and slowly Teruha nodded, very well aware that now he knew as well.

"Todoroki Teruha died ten years ago in a tragic accident-" Shota began, but Teruha interrupted him "That tragic accident was a staged suicide attempt for my brother and I to flee from an abusive household."

Shota hummed in response, taking another sip of his coffee as he used the time to think.

"Hizashi offered me to stay at his place for a while, but don't worry, I'm leaving soon anyway," Teruha said, her brows furrowed slightly and a soft scowl pulling the corners of her lips down.

"Don't bother. You're not a criminal anymore so I won't hurt you or turn you in or something," Shota replied, "however, it must be addressed that you are Todoroki Teru-"

"No."

Shota frowned as the raven haired woman cut him off.

"No?"

"Nobody can know. I only told Hizashi about it because we promised to be honest to each other. And nobody, especially not Endeavour, can know that I'm still alive. Not until the moment is right."

It took Teruha a certain amount of courage to say his name. Seeing him in person again the day before really shook her to the core.

"There's never going to be a right moment to go up to your father and tell him his 16 year old daughter that died in a raging fire isn't quite dead and is standing right in front of him," Shota said, but Teruha quickly shot back "You don't even know half of it so don't go around saying that!"

Shota glared at the young woman who'd just raised her voice at him.

"I don't know half of it? How do you think does your father feel, knowing he drove his children into an accident through overworking themselves?"

"Because to him it looked like a suicide attempt!"

"And that makes this situation any better?"

"Endeavour deserved what came to him and he deserves whatever else is going to come," Teruha spat, tears of anger having filled her eyes by now.

Hizashi carefully laid a hand on her shoulder as Shota asked "What do you know? What is the League planning next?"

Teruha huffed a laugh as she glared back at the black haired man.

"I know nothing. But with All Might gone and Endeavour being the next number one pro hero, I guarantee that my brother isn't going to sit still. And he will use the League's help to get Endeavour down from there. And whatever my brother will do, our creator deserves it."
