Chapter 6
Low-key (haha) realized I never added any pictures of what Sigrid looks like, and I'm sorry, so the two pictures above are her.
Enjoy!

I looked around the room and saw that no one was there and that the door was wide open. I walked over to it and peered out. I could not see anyone near the room or in the hallway, so I decided to look around this new place, and see where the weakest points were.
"Hey!" came a voice. I was almost sure it was the one they called Bruce. I ran around the corner and put up another invisible wall. He ran past me and looked down both hallways, looking for me. I stared at him and wished I could use three powers at once. Then I remembered that I could change into my real form, and use my mind reading power. I changed into my real form, a very small frost giant with ebony hair and red eyes, and dug into Bruce's mind.
His mind was a jumble of information. His last name was Banner, he was a scientist, and he had another form. A giant green thing. I really wanted to see what that looked like. I dug deeper in his mind as I followed him and saw memory gaps. He would get mad, his heart rate would pick up, then blank. I wondered if this was a way to make him show his other form. I looked through the jumble until I found something that I could do to make him go green. There was a guy that popped up a lot, and right before there was a memory gap. A guy named Thaddeus Ross, some kind of army general. I used my morphing ability to change into him.
"Banner!" I called. He turned around and stared at me.
"How... how... how did you get in here? Why are you here? Get out! Before someone gets hurt." He was starting to look green.
"No, I think I'll stay."
"I'm warning you, Ross. Get. out." Banner looked like he was about to blow. Perfect.
"Hey! How in the world did you get in here?" I turned around to see Tony and a blond man.
"Wait," started Bruce, "you didn't let him in?" Tony shook his head. "Then who are you?" he asked, turning to me. "Ross would always have an appointment with someone."
I shape-shifted back to my usual form and ran.
"What the~" yelled Tony.
He was cut off by Bruce, as he jabbed his elbow into Tony's stomach.
"Ow..." he whined. He stopped after meeting Bruce's eyes.
They started to run after me. I started to turn as soon as I saw a turn. I tried my best to outrun them, and I did. They pulled back and Tony started to yell out to a someone named Jarvis, "Jarvis, I need you to close all of the doors on the interrogation floor!" I continued to run but ran into a door that popped out of nowhere. I assumed that the man, Jarvis, was in a control room somewhere, controlling everything. I turned down another hallway, looking for an air vent or a window or something.
I didn't find anything, or at least, what I did find was locked up and sealed tight. Then I thought about using my shape-shifting power again. I knew what all of the Avengers looked like, so I could easily become any one of them. I decided on Thor, only because I was still new to some of this technology stuff. I didn't know what some of this tech was, and I was betting that Thor didn't either.
I morphed into him and continued down a hallway. I was passed by more of those emotionless guards that gave me trouble back in the lobby area. They were jogging with a purpose, with what seemed like some type of gun in each of their hands. I walked by them at a brisk pace, hoping that they didn't think I was an imposter.
"Thor!" someone called. I stopped dead. "There you are, we've been looking all over the tower for you," said Clint. Natasha was close behind him. "I thought you were going to Asgard to do Asgardian things."
"Asgard can wait. We have more important matters at hand. Has anyone found her yet?"
"Yes and no. Tony and Bruce had an incident with a guy named Ross, and then that turned out to be the girl. Then she ran away from them, and JARVIS closed all of the doors in the area, but we still can't find her."
"What kind of sorcery is this? Surely she can not be Ross."
"Thor," Clint started uncertainly, "she's a shapeshifter..." he looked at me with a questioning look on his face. "Thor, where is your hammer, Mjolnir? Wait a minute, Nat! It's the kid!"
Everything happened so fast. First Clint was buying my story, then he wasn't, then I was knocked over by Natasha and caught off guard. It caused me to reveal my true form, the frost giant one.
"What the hell are you?" questioned Natasha as she struggled to keep me on the ground. She was staring at me with both curiosity and disgust.
"Do not make fun of my sister! That is very rude," I said as I used my magic to throw her off of me.
Then Thor came back, the real Thor, and he had his hammer.
"How has a mini frost giant get in here?" he asked dumbstruck. He looked even more confused after I used my magic to throw him against the wall. I quickly changed back to my regular form, even though they knew what my real one looked like. Clint was nocking an arrow as Natasha and Thor recovered from my attacks.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you," I told him. I heard a door open and the sound of multiple people entering the room. It was Tony and Bruce, along with some of those guards from downstairs.
"She's a --" Tony started, but was cut off by Natasha.
"Shapeshifter, we know."
"We have you surrounded kid. Your odds don't look too good. There's no way that you can fight your way out of this one." came a new voice. I turned to the source of it and saw a blonde-haired man wearing a red, white, and blue suit and carrying a shield.
I thought of ways I could prove him wrong, many involving using my powers. I decided to summon my dagger, a beautiful creation made by the dark elves for my father. It had a dark purple blade with a blinding white hilt.
I moved to my fighting stance. "I think I will take my chances. I have many things that you do not." Then I attacked. They were caught by surprise, at least at first. Then they came to their senses. And attacked. Me.
It was not that hard once I knew what was going on. The only reason that they had taken me down before was because I was not focused. Now, all of my focus was on the battle. I cast a protective dome over my head and was using my daggers' magic abilities. If my dagger touched their skin, it could temporarily blind them. Or it could, you know, cut them like a real dagger.
Natasha quickly realized that her guns and tasers were useless, so she resorted to kicking a dome that I created. Clint thought he was getting somewhere with his sonic arrow, while Tony had become encased in metal, and was trying to laser beam my dome down. Bruce had disappeared completely, and the newcomer was whacking at my dome with his shield. I hope it broke on him. The guards were also missing. I was reaching out and blinding them, or cutting them. Or I was using my powers to do other various things.
Then, once again, I was caught off guard somehow. I fell to the ground, yelping in surprise. I tried to move and found that I was encased in something, I could not tell what it was.
"Thor, your niece has got some fight," I heard Tony say, sounding surprised. I also heard Thor's grunt in response. I was still struggling against my restraints as someone pull me up to my feet.
"How did a mortal child learn such fighting skills?" started Thor. "Even if you are a daughter of my brother, he never was one to fight. Trickery was his way." He looked at me for an answer. I shrugged my shoulders, denying him that luxury.
"Where are we going to put her? I'm guessing most rooms won't be able to keep her from teleporting out of it," said Bruce, entering from the hall.
"Where did you get the crazy idea that I can teleport?" I asked sarcastically. Sadly, I did not inherit that skill from my father.
"Wait, if you can't teleport, then how did you escape from the interrogation room?" asked Tony. He was looking at me funny as if he was trying to figure out what made me tick.
I looked back at him and smiled, "My father called me to him. I had no choice."
"Then what can you do?" Tony asked.
"So I do not repeat what you already know, what do you already know?" I asked.
"You're a shapeshifter, you can do weird things with your hands, and you're a telepath," replied Natasha, looking bored.
"You are missing one thing, and have another wrong. I can create or summon any physical object I know of. I can NOT control minds, so I am not a telepath. I can only read minds. There, does that satisfy you?" I finished sarcastically.
After a long pause, Mr. Red, White and Blue spoke up. "Well, if she can't teleport, then, for now, we can stick her in a heavily guarded room."
"I call first watch!" Natasha said, too eagerly. She walked over to me and grabbed me from the mindless agents.

So I have created a word. It describes my daily struggles as a writer.
Narem. It's the feeling when you see something in your head, but can't express it, which is literally me all the time😂
