Chapter 5
A/N Yeah the beginning of this is a little weird, but I was in eigth grade when I wrote this (I'm in 10th now) so yeah. Sorry if it's weird😂

No one had been in my cell for the past two days, but it did not bother me. I easily shapeshifted to get out of the cuffs that they put me in.
I made myself comfy by conjuring a bed, a bookshelf, and a flat-screen TV. I was reading The Deathly Hallows, the seventh book in the Harry Potter series.
I heard the door open but ignored whoever it was. It was probably my food. I looked up to see Natasha and Clint enter, followed by the rest of the Avengers. Including my uncle.
“Well, what a surprise! All of the Avengers in my cell! I must be something special,” I said sarcastically.
“We’re here to see which one of the Avengers is your uncle,” said Clint as he, Natasha, the man with the weird glow by his heart, and another man moved away from the rest.
“How will you know if I am lying?” I question them.
“Oh, I’ll know sweetheart,” replied Natasha. She stared at me intensely.
“Ok, let’s start,” said the man with the strange glow coming from around his heart. I looked into his mind and saw that his name was Tony.
“I am with Tony, let us start.” The others stared at me in astonishment.
“I’m not going to even ask how you knew that because I really don’t care. Let’s start,” he said.
Tony called each man forward and asked me if they were my uncle. I, being very good at lying and deception, simply said “no” in a bored voice to each of them.
“Ok. This is obviously not working. We need a new tactic. Ideas anyone?” said the man next to Tony.
“Bruce,” started Natasha, “how about torture?”
“NATASHA!! She’s a kid! I think…” They all looked at me for an answer.
“Don’t ask me, ask my father. He has kept me in Helheim for my entire life. There is no distinct day or night. Very hard to tell time,” I replied. Then I realized what I said, I gave it away. Crud.
“Helheim… Helheim. Isn’t that one of the nine realms? Thor?” questioned the one named Bruce.
“Uhhh… I highly doubt that she is from Helheim. Helheim is the realm of the unworthy dead, not annoying children. Unless you are dead.” He came over and poked my arm.
“OWW! What was that for?” I asked
“She is alive,” he said, ignoring me.
“And even if you were from Helheim, you would be dead by now. Unless you are somehow related to Hel herself…” he looked at me.
“Oh, you mean my sister?”
“What the~” Tony was cut off by Clint.
“Okay Tony, no need to curse.”
“Whatever,” Tony muttered.
“So… how does this help us find out who your uncle is?” asked Thor.
“Wow, you all are really dumb,” I started. I looked at all of them and said, “My uncle is Thor! OK! I gave you guys every hint I could, and you still couldn’t figure it out!” They all looked at me, dumbstruck. “If my sister is Hel, and her father is Loki, that means that my father is Loki, making Thor my uncle. There, any questions?” I explained, putting my face in my hands.
Before they could answer me, I felt a pull teleporting me back to Helheim.

“HOW DARE YOU REVEAL YOUR TRUE HERITAGE TO THEM!!” came the very, very angry voice of my father. He was wearing his golden, horned helmet and green Asgardian robes. He was sitting on his makeshift throne, looking regal. And mad. I looked down at my feet.
“Father,” I started sheepishly, “it was all part of my plan. It would cause mass chaos among the Avengers and the people that support them. If they find out that a daughter of Loki, the Loki that tried to destroy New York, is being kept in their tower, it would cause riots.” I looked up at him. He was smiling a devilish smile, one that I had seen only when he was planning something.
“I can see what you are trying to accomplish, and I will no longer step in the way of it.” He looked into my eyes, staring into my soul. “What is your question, Sigrid?”
It had been bothering me ever since Clint had said that he was mind controlled before. “Father, one of the Avengers, Clint, said that he had been mind controlled before. And he was able to detect when I tried to see into his mind. Do you know anything about this?”
Loki looked at me and smiled once again. “I cannot tell you now, as our time grows short. But your question will be answered in time my daughter. Good luck on your quest.” And with that, I was sent back into the interrogation room.
