"You wanna tell me what the hell's going on!?" Sully asked us as we continue down the passage. "Drake didn't want to get the treasure off the island, Sully. He was trying to stop it from leaving!" Nate replied. "What?" Sully said, shocked. "It's cursed or something." I said. "Oh, kids, for God's sake..." Sully said, exasperated. "Look, we know it sounds crazy. You just gotta trust us." Nate said as we reach a huge treasure room then we slowly enter the room.

Below us, Gabriel, Navarro and the mercenaries had located El Dorado. "Oh man." I whispered. "Whoa..." Sully mutters as Gabriel stands in front of the treasure in the middle of the room. Navarro stands behind him with Elena. Nathan, Sully and I take out our guns then Gabriel turns around and sees us then laughs. Three mercenaries sneak up behind us and aim their shotguns at us.

"You three should realise by now that I plan for every contingency. Now, drop your weapons. Down there." Gabriel orders as he points to the ground. "No heroics, please. Or I will kill her." He said as he gestures towards Elena and Navarro. Reluctantly, Nate, Sully and I drop our weapons down on the ground. "Good. Now, if you'll just hang tight, we'll be with you in a moment." Gabriel said, smiling, as he turns back to El Dorado and walks towards it.

"It's magnificent. The craftsmanship, I've never seen anything like it before." He said in awe. "That is only a shell. The real treasure of El Dorado lies inside." Navarro chuckles. "Open it."

Gabriel prises open the statue to reveal nothing inside but a rotting corpse. "My God..." Nate mutters as I gasp. Suddenly, dust billows out from the mouth of the corpse and then Gabriel inhales the dust and starts coughing. "Watch this." Navarro said. Still coughing, Gabriel closes the statue and falls to his knees, gasping for breath.
"Navarro..." Gabriel whispers before he turns around and growls, blood and saliva around his nose and mouth. He stands up and staggers towards Navarro. As Gabriel gets near, Navarro shoots him in the face, killing Gabriel.

"Adios, jefe. So little imagination." Navarro said to Gabriel's dead body before he laughs. "Bajen la red!" He said to his men. "Bajen la red!" A man's voice said just as  net falls down over the statue. "Navarro, that thing wiped out an entire colony. You don't know what you're doing." Nate yelled at him. "Wrong. I'm the only person on this island who knows what the hell he's doing!" Navarro said then he turns to a mercenary.

"Cargue la estatua. Cuidado!" He exclaims and two mercenaries start moving the statue. Then he looks up at the boys and I. "You are so pathetic, all of you scrambling around for your petty treasures. Do you have any idea what this is worth, to the right buyer?" He asked as the mercenaries secure the net around the statue.

"Levantenlo!"

"Levantenlo!" 

Then a helicopter starts hovering outside, and starts lifting the statue out of the room. Navarro aims his gun around the room, as we hear snarling sounds. "Oh no..." I muttered as Nate looks around. "What the hell is that?" Sully asked when dozens of cursed Spaniards start crawling down into the room from the ceiling.

At that moment, Navarro starts to leave with Elena. "Jesus, what are those things?" Sully asked us. "It's the Spaniards, Sully. They never left." I replied as the cursed Spaniards start attacking the mercenaries. The three of us turn around and wrestle the guns away from the three mercenaries behind us and toss the mercenaries down into the fight with the cursed Spaniards.

"My God, if that thing gets off the island..." Nate whispered and Sully looks over at us. "You two gotta stop him. I'll cover both of you from here." He said as Navarro escapes from the room with Elena. "Go!" Sully orders and Nate and I hurry through the room and run up the stairs to where the helicopter is waiting.

At the top of the steps, we leap onto the statue and grab ahold of the net just as the helicopter starts flying up. A few seconds later, a mercenary leans out of the side of the helicopter and fires at us but we duck down behind the statue. "Crap!" We shout as we hear the mercenary laugh. Then that mercenary falls out of the helicopter, screaming, seconds later. Several stray bullets fire at the helicopter and then it starts to go down.

But it quickly recovers as it flies away from the island, and towards a boat in the ocean. As the helicopter flies over the boat, Nate and I let go of the rope then hit the floor and rolled forward. Both of us stand up in time to see the heli- copter crash into the helipad on the boat, it screeches as it slides along the floor and teeters on the edge of the helipad.

"Oh my God." I muttered as I pointed out Elena, who was in the helicopter unconscious, to Nate. Navarro climbs out of the wreckage with a few minor cuts then he glares at us. "Matenlo! Kill them!" Navarro shouts as he starts making his way towards the spot where Nate and I landed.

We began to shoot our way through the mercenaries and chase Navarro to the back of the boat. "Nowhere to hide, now!" Nate yells as we head up the stairs to the helipad. There is where we see Elena, unconscious still, in the burning helicopter. "Elena!" We screamed when Navarro jumps out from behind a wooden crate and shoots a nearby barrel. The explosion knocks Nate and I to the floor and our guns fly out of our hands then slide off of the ship.

"Oh crap - now what?" I asked, fearfully, as we hide behind the wooden crates on the helipad. Nate looks around then over to me and whispered. "You distract him and I'll try to find my way around him. Okay?" I nod then I start to run over to the left side. Bullets streak past my head as Navarro fires and laughs, maniacally, then I duck behind another crate. 

"You can't hide from me." I hear him said as I raise my head up. "Over here!" I shout and he starts to fire again but I duck down, quickly. Then I heard Navarro yelp in pain, I look up to see Nate kicking him and punching him. The gun flies out of Navarro's hand and slides to a stop on the ground. Navarro grabs hold of Nate and headbutts him, followed by a punch in the face and a kick in the back. Nate falls forward and hits the ground, while I run to pick up Navarro's gun. Navarro runs over to me and grabs the gun, which was in my hand. The two of us play tug-of-war with it until Navarro back hands me across the face, knocking me down.

I groan as I look up and see Navarro aiming his gun at me but Nate runs towards him and punches him in the face. The two men struggle as they exchange punches at each other until I get up and jump on Navarro's back then wrap my left arm around his neck. He tries to pull me off of him but I kick the back of his knee, making him fall to his knees then I let go as Nate punches him across the face, making him fall to the floor face down. Nate and I stand over Navarro and then turn to the burning helicopter. "Elena!" Nate exclaims in fear as he runs to the helicopter. "Elena! Oh God... Elena." He yells as I run up to the 'copter and help pull Elena out of the helicopter.

"C'mon. Can you stand?" I asked her as she opens her eyes while we help her stand. "I'm okay... I'm okay." She assures us. "Are you all right?" Nate asked her, concerned. "Oh - Nate! (Y/n)!" She yells and Nate and I turn to see Navarro standing up. "Watch out." I screamed as we turn back to the helicopter. Then Nate and I start pushing helicopter, shoving it with our shoulders, then it falls off the side of the helipad.

"Adios, asshole." Nate yells at Navarro as we face him while I give him a two-finger salute. He looks at us confused until the rope, used to secure El Dorado, wraps itself around Navarro's leg and drags him across the floor. Navarro screams and claws at the floor as the rope drags him and El Dorado into the sea. "Oh my -" Elena gasped as we turn around and see a small boat sailing towards us, Sully salutes us and we wave to him.

"Oh... Quite a day." Elena said as we rest against the railings while we wait for Sully. "Yeah - yeah, save the world, triumph over evil - pretty typical." Nate jokes, making Elena and I laugh. "Really." She said. "It's a shame we're leaving empty handed, though." I said. "Oh well, you know, I...I did manage to save one small thing." She said and she takes out the Francis Drake's ring.
"Here I...I thought you might miss this." She said as she hands the ring back to me. "Thanks." I said, grateful, as I put it back around my neck. She nods at me as Nate smiles at her. "Yeah, thanks. That means alot to us." He said to her as she turns to face him. "No problem." She said and they look into each other's eyes before they start to lean into kiss and I turn my head away.

"You two got a funny idea of romantic. And in front of your sister, for God's sake!" Sully's voice shouts, making Nate and Elena jump in surprise, and I smiled. "Sully! Wow. You - you look like hell." I shout at him as Sully rests a shotgun on his shoulder. "You should see the other guys." He said with a smirk, making Elena and Nate laugh.

"Got us a boat." He said as he gestures to the one he's on. "Uh, we already have a boat." Elena said. "Yeah. Big boat." Nate added and Sully chuckles. "I like this one better." He said as he pulls away a cover to reveal several crates of gold and treasure stacked on a pallet. Nate, Elena and I gasp which makes Sully laugh again. "Sully, you beautiful sonofabitch!" Nate exclaims as I laugh. "Borrowed it off a couple of pirates who were too dead to care." He said, laughing.

Sometime later, Nathan, Sully, Elena and I were on Sully's boat, sailing away from the island. I walk to the edge of the boat and look out at the sea, Elena and Nate walk over to me, Nate stands between Elena and I. "Sorry you didn't get your story." I said, apologetically, to Elena. "Ah, that's all right. There'll be other stories. You two still owe me one." She said. Nate smiles and puts one arm around her waist. "I'm good for it." He said to her then he looks at me. "You?" He asked. "Yeah, me too." I said, nodding, as Nate drapes his other arm around my shoulder and we look out at the sea as we sail off into the sunset.
