James point of view.

" So you are the boyfriend huh....." Ryder said with an awfully scary look directly in James eyes...as if throwing daggers.

James gulped but gathered his courage and said
"Yes I am...nice to meet you" he offered his hand but Ryder refused to shake it.

James took back his hand.

" Ryder please...he is not like him" lily said softly.

" That I will see princess....I am not giving you to any bastard who will treats you less than a princess....you deserve the best." Ryder said.

" Listen here black.....I am giving you one chance for the love I see in your eyes for my sister...but if you freaking dare to even hurt my princess even a bit...I will cut your body into tiny shreads and feed them to the dogs" Ryder said deadly.

" Of course...besides angel doesn't need that...if someone hurts her she is strong enough to kick the ass of that person" james said.

This somewhat had an impact on Ryder....

"He treats her as his equal...maybe he isn't that bad....let's try him." Ryder thought.

They all then went inside and had food....it was simple and delicious homely food.

Lily's point of view.

" Everything is happening so perfect....can life be any better? But I don't know...I am having some bad premonition....like all good is coming but after the silent night comes the storm...could something bad happen to this?" She thought.

She heard a knock on her door and James came in.

" Hey" he said smiling.

" Hi...come sit " lily said and James sat with her on her bed in her room.

" You have an interesting room..." James commented.

It indeed was....the colours were mostly black, white and grey ...it had a classical theme...

One wall all had Lily's photos....from her childhood, with her parents and godparents, with her friends, with ace and Ryder and from her many travels.

" Thanks " lily said smiling.

" What were you doing?" James asked.

" Nothing just thinking...what brings you here?" Lily asked.

" Why can't a man meet his love?" James said.

" Well can you tell me about Ryder...I want to know about him" James said.

" Go and speak to him..." Lily said and James nodded....he knew he had to win over Ryder.

" He would be on the terrace this time" lily said and James kissed her cheek and left for the terrace.

Ryder point of view.

I was on the terrace smoking my cigarette and looking at the stars.

That one specific star....her....how much I miss you darling...I long to come and join you in the space of those twinkling little stars.

You are so far....yet I always feel your touch and how your hair smelled....they always surround me....wherever I am....you are deep in my heart darling.

You are the one afterall who made my heart living.

Unknowingly small pearly tears started dropping from my eyes....as I told her about my day...she was listing from above.

I heard some footsteps and turned rapidly....mafia instinct.

It was that James....

My sister...she had a rough past . She is the dearest to me now.... any problem will have to pass through me and then her.

" I didn't expect you here at this time" Ryder said.

" Me neither" James replied.

" Listen I just wanted to say...please give me a chance...I love lily very very much...heck I can't live without her...she is different and so independent....I know she doesn't need anybody just someone who can love her...someone who can just hold her when she is going through a tough time and just say that it will be okay and she could do it....and I want to be that lucky bastard so give me a chance Ryder." James said sincerely.

Ryder was shocked for a second.

" This was exactly how I felt for her...afterall she was just like my lily." Ryder said.

" Sorry who? And have you been crying? Is everything okay bro?" James asked.

" Yeah...I just miss her..." Ryder said and sat down.

James too sat.

" Who?" He asked.

" My wife...." Ryder said and heaved.

James was a bit stunned.

" I didn't see her around....where is she?" James said.

" There" Ryder said pointing to the brightest star in the sky..

The cool breeze blowing and messing his hair....his cigarette laying forgotten.

" Her name was Lara....my lovely darling Lara....I loved her more than anyone....I met her in collage....when suddenly the while responsibility of the mafia fell upon me cause dad got unwell....

I had quite a lot going on at that time...I was taught all these mafia stuff but it was hard for me with studies and the whole responsibility with mafia and the Zsars...they were and are our rivals...they were at high...

during that period...the most difficult one...when I had nothing...it was Lara who gave this cold heart her warmth...she was that cheerful and independent girl who everyone loved ....

she had that aura which made her attractive and lovely....she became the queen of my heart...she was a fashion designer... Lovely clothes she made...they just radiated her mood....

she was with me through the hard times and we had our own ups and downs....but finally when I had everything I decided to crown my queen....

I asked her hand for marriage and we got married. But that was not long...just after 4 years of marriage...there was an attack by the Zsars....a gun firing in which she got killed and I got lonely....we had our revenge in the Zsars..." Ryder finished with tears in his eyes.

James patted his shoulder...unable to understand what to say and how to console but it was Ryder who broke the silence.

" She was just like my lily....they were so like eachother you might have thought they were twins...lily was devastated by her death....now lily and ace are the only people I care the most....the first was always Lara." Ryder said.

" You hurt any of them James Black and you are done." Ryder finished.

" I will try my best to protect them...if I don't you can do your deed." James said.

" You love lily right...she is your girlfriend am I correct?" Ryder asked.

" No...she is the one I will call my wife" James said and smiled.

Ryder knew... James was the man.

Suddenly they heard a scream from outside the house gate.

" ACEEEEE!!!!"
