Lily's point of view.

" Who killed your parents Lily?" James asked me and I closed my eyes inhaling the ocean breeze as all the past memories come flooding in the darkness.

" Me" I replied.... clearly it shocked James said he remained silent for some time.

" But....but that's insane....you would not do anything...I know it" James said bewildered.

" No....alas no...it was because of me" lily said and shook her head with dismay.

" It was all because of me...." She said and shut her eyes tight.

" As a child of middle school....I was always bullied....I was an outcast....children didn't like me....they all.... always bullied me....I hated it alot....I couldn't bear it....so due to my turning mental condition....my parents decided to shift the town....so we shifted from Miami to Colorado....that's when dad started his new practice....and I joined high school there....I was determined to have confidence and prevent any bulling....all that made me strong to stand up against what people say..." Lily said and now ran her fingers through her hair.

" There I met the people who made my life happy and full.... Alexander and Kyra....we all were inseparable....we loved eachother dearly....but it was there also that I met one of the person who I thought was a beautiful dream but was fake and turned out to be....my worst nightmare....he was none other than....the biggest ass.... Clinton Harris." Lily said and James clenched his hands into fists.

" I knew it....I'm not gonna let that bastard live peacefully...I'll ruin him" James said through grityed teeth.

" Just hear the full thing first..." Lily said her eyes still closed and james nodded.

" I met him in high school....he was that popular boy over which all girls swonned....I never really did that....but I secretly liked him...I had a tiny crush on him....by that time...I was doing my best in studies and no one could beat me...I was happy to have friends and my future bright."

"It all happened on one faithful day when Clinton proposed me to be his girlfriend....I agreed without hesitation....both Kyra and Alex found him a bit dodgy and didn't like him much...but they loved me a lot...so they used to try convince me to get out of that relationship but I was too blinded by him....I used to worship him....and slowly and steadily....I became dependent on him....so depended that I could do nothing without him." Lily said and James had anger flaring in his eyes.

" Our relationship went well in the starting years...I went to Texas to study....for collage....he went to the same college as me...so did Kyra and Alex....the relationship was going well...but in our first year....his parents died....it was a hard time for him but he took the wrong route from there....he got into bad company and used to drink and gamble....I hated it....I tried to prevent it...but I was vulnerable." Lily said...now opening her eyes with clear dismay.

" By the time I was 20....my relationship was toxic....I couldn't quit it either....I don't know why....but that's when he showed me his true colours....my parents visited me in Texas...like they regularly did....and I was overjoyed...at that time ace was born and he brought happiness to me....he was with a close friend when my parents were visiting...they met me and we had a fun time....but after they left....I got the news....a text...that their car had crashed....I was....I was broken." Lily said her eyes shining with tears.

" That's when Clinton came into my apartment and dragged me somewhere totally against my will....he took me to where he lived....and he tied me to a chair.....I was horrified....my heart shattered....that how can this happen?....the person I have my heart....he turned out to be such....but that was not it...I quickly worked my mind....and I somehow....I put on the recorder in the phone which I was carrying....and I hid it..." Lily said.

" Clinton came with someone unconscious....I couldn't believe my eyes.... He had my parents....they were unconscious....he put them in front of me....and then....he took out a gun" lily said and James eyes widened.

" I was crying....weeping....that time I realised how vulnerable I was....." Lily said.

Flashback.

" No...no please Clinton....please leave me and then....what have we done to you?....why are you doing this to me!" Lily said and sobbed...her eyes widened at the sight of a gun.

" Oh really lily flower.... You belong only to me....I will marry you and then I will have it.... But these ...your parents....they are coming between my way" Clinton spat.

" My parents were right....you really are an ass....the evilest person I ever met....I should have listened to them....I was so blinded" lily said between sobs...

" But it's too late now....you are in my trap...." Clinton said and put both of his hands on the arms of the chair.

" I am going to kill them....I need to to get that..." Clinton said and moved the tip of the gun across Lily's face

" No....what do you want?....tell me...I'll give it to u...please don't hurt them" lily said totally broken.

" Oh I'm not going to hurt them....you will kill them" Clinton said evily.

" You...you bastard...you are mad....insane...I won't...I won't" lily said....now tears escaping her eyes.

Clinton forced lily to hold the gun....

" Mom ...dad....I love you...please forgive me...I'm sorry" lily said aimlessly.

" SHUT UP" roared Clinton making lily flinch.

" I'll kill then....then wait...I'll have that...it will be mine...and so will be you" Clinton said like a mad man.

He took the gun....and made lily hold it....lily was crying very hard....she was powerless... vulnerable...helpless....she could do nothing....she was disgusted by herself.

Lily's finger were on the trigger....

" No....please...NO!" Lily sobbed.

Clinton came and pressed Lily's finger on the trigger

BHOOM!....BHOOM...!

Two bullets and Lily's world was taken away from her.

Tears were now freely flowing from Lily's eyes....she was slightly shaking....

James was red in fury and shock....his hands in fists and jaw clenching.

Suddenly lily hugged James tightly....James relaxed and hugged her back....stroking her hair and calming her.

She was still sobbing....James was startled to see lily crying...no one saw her crying.

" How did u get out from there?" James asked.

" When Clinton brought me there....and I felt that something was wrong I put on the recorder in my phone....after that when he left me tied....I somehow managed to press the home button of my new iPhone and gave the voice order to call the police....I'm glad that mom and dad gave me that new phone." Lily said.

" That was very smart of you" James said.

" I used his recorded voice as evidence in the court and the police....and he was sentenced imprisonment for life....but I guess his ass cousin Shawn got him out of the jail soon." Lily said with venom in her voice.

" After that....I immediately went to Kyra and Alex....they soothed me....I was still in shock...and I was blaming myself...I still blame myself....I went to my parents close friend to get ace....and then I somehow managed to get over it...I mean....move on...u saw that letter." Lily said and James nodded.

" Then I was in the last year of collage....my anger drove me for excellence....and support of Kyra Alex and ace of course....ace was small so my parents friends helped me alot....I'm still in touch with them....they are like my second parents....so in the final year of my university....I topped the exams....and then to run away from the place with bad memories....I came to my dream city New York and started my buisness....and with my hardwork....I got it to the top in just about 2-3 years." Lily said now calming down and wiping her tears....still in James arms.

" You might now want to run away from me that I have such a horrid past....I understand" lily said.

" No lily.....never say that...even I have a horrific past....I was thinking that u won't accept me if I tell u that" James said now his eyes clouding with sadness and anger.

" All ears....please share if you want to" lily said wiping her eyes.

" But if I tell you then please don't leave me" James pleaded.

" No...never....only if u accept me with my past to" lily said and to her surprise and pleasure James gave a small peck on her forehead.

" Of course" James said.

" Ok now tell about your past" lily said blushing slightly.

James took a deep breath.

" I am a murderer" James said and lily gasped.
