James point of view

" What happened?" Angel asked me concerned....

" Shit...did I scare her from my loud voice?...nah...even the death eaters or voldemort can't scare her...she will cut them into thousands of pieces before they scare her" james thought.

" It's nothing angel" James said checking for his text messages.

" If you say so devil....I know u ...now fire away what's up or you won't be able to fire anything if I get angry" lily said trying to be serious but unfortunately started laughing.

" It's just that the driver who was supposed to bring my car broke down half the way...he says the car needs atleast two days to get repaired." James said with furrowed eyebrows.

" I would have gone by a cab or by any other car of mine...but just now Alan called and said that due to the release of our new product...my house is surrounded by paparazzi....like if I go there then it's like I'm going into the tigers den...though it's my own house...and I'm so not in to mood to answer their stupid question" James said clearly annoyed.

" They are like....sir what is the name of your new product...Mr Black whats your current relationship status?...Mr Black this Mr Black that...Mr Black go to hell" James said mimicking the reporters and stomping his feet.

James

"Woah...calm down devil....u suck at mimicking...what about Sirius??..is he a hostage?" Lily asked.

" No...that lucky brat just texted me saying that he is staying at his restaurant hotel to try out the new lasagna that he will invent tonight" James said rolling his eyes.

" I'm surprised he doesn't burn the kitchen down..." Lily said and James chuckled.

" What am I going to do now?...shall I go to a hotel or something?" James asked....more like debated with himself.

He clearly hated hotels and such stuff... except for Sirius's hotel of course....there you can find Sirius zooming all over the reception on a bell boys trolley meant to carry luggage.

" Let's do one thing...u can stay at my house for the weekend until your house gets paparazzi free...if you are fine with it" lily simply said....looks like she trusted him atleast that much now...yay!

" What the bloddy hell...dear good lord...what good deeds did I do to get this chance to spend more time with my angel....from now on I love you paparazzi." James thought.

" Yeah sure ...thanks a lot angel" james said.

" Keep your thanks to yourself...you better get me some chocolate in return" lily said.

James knew that lily was addicted to chocolate like anything...during a meeting he caught her eating a chocolate to keep herself calm from shouting at a stupid person.

That trick was successful.

" Alright mam....I'll get you a while carton of chocolates" James said.

"I wonder why I am so comfortable with her...it's amazing...she definitely has magic...my angel" James thought.

" Come on let's go to my car" lily said and led the way to the parking lot...where james stood gazing which might be Lily's car.

To his utmost astonishment....lily stopped by a Matt Black Audi R8....which was just....super cool!

" What James....were you expecting a car in hot pink?... remember your angel is different" James smiled lightly.

" Well now will you stop staring at my baby and get in?" Lily said.

" You got a very nice car" James said...totally impressed.

" See baby...the devil jay is complimenting you...she says thank you" lily sassed.

Lily opened the passenger seat door for James....which usually men do but....our lily is lily.

" After you..." Lily said as James sat down and she closed the door after him and seated at the driver's seat.

" Now James before I start driving I have a confession to make" lily said and ja es heart raced.

"Will she say that she loves me?...I would die with happiness if she says so...but I still have to woo her.. remember James...u still gotta impress her..." James thought

" The confession is...that you are a rash driver and your driving made me feel that it was the last day of my life." Lily said solemnly.

James sat their wide eyed...did she really..." Yes she just stated the fact that no one dared to you idiot" James thought.

" Now I will show you what real ,safe and good driving is" lily said and started the engine and her baby roared with life.

She was an excellent...no that's less...she was a perfect driver.

She used to drive so smoothly that the water in your stomach didn't even move....she was so perfect at taking turns .

" Angel....u never fail to surprise me" James smiled.

They reached the familiar place where lily lived....

James had never gone inside the building...nor to Lily's house....so he was excited.

Lily

" Would ace be home?" James asked...he wanted to see the little guy.

" Unfortunately he is with Alex and Kyra having the time of his life...they are having a fun weekend without me as I have a lot of work to catch up with" lily said.

James followed lily inside the building where they got into the elevator.

They reached the top floor that was the 30 floor...where Lily's penthouse was.

She opened the door and let James in.

Instantly he was welcomed by the sweet smell of strawberries and vanilla...that was type of Lily's body odour.

Lily dumped her bags and other belongings on the sofa in the living room....which was a bit messy.

James sat on a sofa and watched lily as she tied her hair in a messy bun.

James was looking at the photos she put on the portfolio.

It was lily and ace...ace just a newborn...lily ,Alex and Kyra... probably on a trip....all three of them in their school days....all three of them with ace sitting and eating icecream....lily climbed on Alex's back and ace on kyras...

There was also a photo of lily with an old couple...lily had her hands around the pair of them....and the picture that boiled James blood was lily and a boy who was kissing her cheek.

" Who the heck is that guy??...and why is he kissing angel!" James thought rage building up.

" Wait here and I'll get you some of Alex's clothes.." lily said and went on her way stroking cashmere who was already asleep.

Of course she had Alex's clothes...he practically lived there.

" Here..." Lily said handing James some loose pants and a t-shirt....

Lily had already changed into comfy clothes.

" So are you hungry?" Lily asked.

James stomach growled in response.

" Apparently yes" lily said.

" I usually eat only with Ace or with Kyra or Alex...I don't like eating alone so if I come late then I probably eat an apple or something....it just doesn't feel right eating all alone... especially when once you had a table full with people you loved .." lily said..the last part barely audible but James heard it.

James so badly wanted to ask her about the guy in the photo or about her family...but he was scared that he would ruin the pleasant atmosphere.

" What the hell lily...you have to take care of your health atleast...how can you do that...not taking proper meals...now I'll see how you don't eat food properly" James said...he was clearly horrified by Lily's eating ways.

" Come on I'll cook today...you go take a shower and freshen up" James said..

" Are you sure...I mean.." lily said but James cut her

" Yes I'm as sure as I am that Sirius bathes only twice a week now go" James said nudging lily.

" Are you serious!" Lily said.

" No I am James....have you been confused about this whole thing angel?" James said.

" Shut up devil....does he really bath only twice a week." Lily asked

" Well he used to up till now...but suddenly for the past few weeks he is bathing regularly...heck he is even been putting deodorant...I don't know what's happening to him" james said with fake worry.

" Probably wants to impress Kyra with his hair" James thought.

Lily laughed.

" God...the whole world stops and states for a moment when angel laughs" James thought.

" When we were in high school...I had to force him to shower...it did seem that he would drown himself showering but trust me...a drowned Sirius is better than a non showered Sirius...so I told all my friends that when Sirius is showering don't stop him even though it looks like he might drown himself" james said and lily was on the floor with laughter.

" Ok I'll go freshen up...u cook some food...ok?" Lily said.

" Sure.." James said and lily lead him to the kitchen.p and she went to freshen up.

" Ok...agent James..you just took the impossible mission cause u can only burn the kitchen down while cooking...how much I miss Sirius...." James said.....

" I took mission impossible just because of the magic lily has on me....James Russel black....you are totally doomed" James thought.

Lily's point of view...

I freshened up and went to the kitchen only to be welcomed by a big cloud of smoke.

" What the hell...james Russel black....do you plan to burn down my beautiful kitchen!..." Lily yelled.

" Sorry angel I was just trying to cook but...." James said.

" Shut up" lily said and navigated herself in the smoke to open the window.

After all the smoke got out lily saw James...

She started laughing hysterically.

" God James...you are covered in flour from head to toe....go change while I cook something and clean everything." She said..still chucking.

James obeyed immediately and went to change into Alex's clothes.

He returned fully clean and dressed while lily finished cleaning the mess.

" I am so sorry angel...I just wanted to help...sorry I messed up your kitchen...I was only trying to help honestly...I was mad that you were not eating properly...but the truth is I don't know anything about cooking...I'm ashamed of it now...I was always busy that I never got a chance to learn...sorry angel...gosh how much I miss Sirius now...he can cook decent food....I'm so ashamed of myself...I'm really sor-..." James kept on rambling.

" Done with your rambling devil..now guess what...I don't care ...it's ok u created a mess...I was worst than this the first time I cooked....so don't worry as a punishment you have to learn a bit cooking from me so then in future u can cook for me or anyone and you don't have to depend on anyone" lily said.

" Remember...never depend on anyone for anything..." Lily said and James nodded.

So then lily started teaching him the basics of cooking and they made some noodles and some pancakes to eat.

First lily made and later james made....he was a very quick learner and lily was impressed.

" Want to sit in the dining room? " Lily asked.

" Nah...that's too formal...let's sit on the floor near the TV in the living room...after we eat we can watch movies" James suggested.p

" I love the idea" lily said and clapped her hands and took a few plates to the living room.

Both lily and James were very comfortable with eachother and knew very well that they would never judge eachother....they were gaining eachothers trust.

" Soon you will love me too angel" James whispered... barely audible....thai was missed by Lily.

They both settled on the rug and began eating food.

" I used to eat like this when I was small...and sometimes with ace and Alex and Kyra too" lily said smiling.

They talked about various issues...each other's memories...friends...but the discussion was avoided about family and past.

Just enjoying the moment they had in hand...they laughed and relaxed.

" And so Sirius never used to date in school....he was too busy besides not interested...but that guy used to practice his pick up lines on me!" James said telling a funny incident.

" So in the break he came and said...if you were my homework then I would have loved to do it..and I was like...some people were staring at us...so I said.....you would have loved to do it but Sirius grey never does homework...so sad" ja es said ang lily laughed.

" God...that's so funny...by the way...sorry I don't have any wine or drink...I only have juice...sorry but I'm not a supporter of any kind of drinking or smoking...it's like committing suicide yourself." Lily said firmly.

" Don't worry I completely support your decision...besides I don't drink too...nor do I smoke...I must confess that I used to drink sometimes with friends in bars or clubs but stopped drinking as my mother wanted me to....she had her own reasons" James said.

" I understand...I don't even drink at parties and the buissness people there stare at me like...is she alien...and I'm like...it's my choice not yours to decide or judge if I drink or smoke or not." Lily said and James nodded vigorously.

They finished their food and cleaned up everything.

Lily showed James around the house ...the different rooms and they stopped at the library.

" Now this is my favourite room so don't loose your mind when you see it" lily said and opened the door.

The door revealed the most beautiful Personal library....it was well furnished and designed and had thousands and thousands of books.... clearly showing Lily's vast interest in literature and reading.

It had a table at the end...that was Lily's home office...it also had a big piano....James remembered that lily liked to play instruments.

" Woah....my dear Oreo cookies....this is soo beautiful" james said and lily chuckled.

" Reading is love...these are some of my collection..but most of them I bought after I started Evans corporation and the rest belonged to my parents and some to me." Lily said.

Lily's piano

She looked sadly at her parents books she touched their covers...the past memories flooding in.

She felt a hand on her shoulder

" Nursery rhymes and bedtime stories... seriously?" James said with children books in his hands

" Hey those belong to ace ok..." Lily said defensively.

They roamed around the library for a bit and later came to the living room and settled on two couches.

" So which film devil?" Lily asked.

" Anything you like angel" James replied sweetly.

" Have you seen lion king or Cinderella?" Lily asked.

" What are those ?...name of diseases?" James said absent mindedly.

" What!...you have never seen lion king...u gotta be kidding me!" Lily gasped.

" Nah...never got the chance..." James shrugged.

" Are u even a living being...just wow" lily said still horrified.

" By the way I have to go to office tomorrow..." Lily said.

" Can I tag along too??...please" James said with puppy eyes.

" God I can't resist that face...fine" lily said and james smiled triamphantly.

The rest of the night they watched Cinderella and lion king and James was over fascinated especially by prince charming in Cinderella...

They both fell asleep on the couch...hugging the comforter they each had and with popcorn laying on the table next to them.

The next morning
James point of view

I woke up from the most comfortable sleep I ever had...

The moment I opened my eyes I saw my angel laying on the sofa , hugging the comforter.

" Lucky blanket" James muttered and rubbed his eyes.

Yes the James Black was getting jealous of a blanket!

James saw the time...it was 5.... suddenly Lily's alarm started ringing...

Lily jolted up suddenly and yelled....

" No Oreo no....only I can eat you...come back!!" Lily sat bolt straight...

James was howling with laughter.

Lily groaned and shut her alarm hard that it might have left a bruise if it was a person.

" You are the most annoying thing in the world...hate you alarm" lily yelled at her alarm.

" Well good morning to you too...you have very interesting dreams I see...oreo" James said and scoffed

" Morning...and shut up devil" Lily said yawning and stretching.

Both of them showered ...lily in her room and James I'm Alex's room...

James wore one of Alex's casual suits...that he left there.

He had to admit...it was beautiful.

Both lily and James got dressed and when he saw lily...his jaw dropped...

Absolutely gorgeous....his angel was wearing dark red off shoulder sweater and black ripped jeans...

Her hair tied in a mystical bow type of thing.

" What?....never seen a beautiful girl before?...co e on its Saturday we can go casual" lily said and pulled ja es by his hand sending sparks .

They drove in lilys car to the office and she started working while James made himself comfortable on the sofas and began working a bit on his laptop... secretly looking at lily.

They were done by 5 and decided to leave...the paparazzi was still caught up in front of james house...so he was welcomed by lily in her house on one condition...no funny buissness.

They were just going out of the building when Mr Shawn..another major investor came to greet them.

" Hello Ms Evans..." He said in an extra sugary tone.

James cleared his throat and Mr Shawn looked at James... suddenly a bit scared.

" Oh..mr.. Mr...bla... Mr Black...nice to meet you" he stuttered and lily had to fight the urge to laugh.

James came and wrapped his arm around Lily's neck possessively....sending glares at me Shawn.

" Mr John Shawn" James said in an Ice cold tone making Mr Shawn look like he is ready to pee in his pants.

Lily was stiffling her giggles by a fake cough.

" Well I came here for buisness which was attended by your staff Ms Evans...I came here with my very close cousin brother." Shawn said with a bit courage.

He pointed at a man who was standing with his back on them.

He turned and suddenly lily stiffened beside James....her eyes clouded with dark emotions...her eyes filling with water ...making them shine with tears

" You!" She gasped slightly.
