Lily's point of view

There was a tap on Lily's shoulder and lily turned her neck left.

No one?

Lily turned her neck right with another tap on her shoulder

Still no one?

Lily faced forward and suddenly

" Bhoo" some one startled lily and she jumped with surprise.

Lily caught a glimpse of hazel eyes and black brown hair.

It was James!

There he was for the first time wearing jeans and a creme brown overcoat....he looked handsome.

" You idiot....u gave me a mini heart attack" lily said and picked up a handful of dry leaves and showered it on James.

" Take that James" lily said.

" Ok ok...sorry angel....sorry to startle you" James said raising his hands surrendering.

Lily picked up Ace in her arms

" Are u ok baby?" Lily asked.

" Yes I am" ace said after he finished laughing.

" Hello little Ace" James said cheerfully.

" Hello little James" ace said in the same time and pulled James cheek.

" God....this kid is so intelligent...and strong" James muttered rubbing his cheek.

" So what brings you here Mr Black?" Lily asked.

" Mr Black....who is Mr Black???...I thought I was Jay" James said pouting.

" Alright Jay...what are u doing here?" Lily said as she rolled her eyes.

" I was just jogging here when some ball hit my genius head and it turned out to be little ace's ball" James said.

" Oh....well done ace...u have such a sharp aim...u hit right at the point where there is nothing" lily said cooing ace and taunting James.

Ace got down Lily's arms and went to James.

" Is there really nothing inside that" ace asked cutely pointing at James head.

" Of course there is anyways...what do you want to play ace?," James asked.

" Don't u have work today or something? Or are u that free to play with a child?" Lily asked.

" Oh come on today is a day off and besides I play with a child everyday....that is Sirius" James said.

" I totally agree" lily said.

Ace suddenly grabbed Lily's hand and James hand and began pulling them in a direction.

They followed the little guy as all three of them laughed.

" Cashmere!....see this is James" ace said as he picked up cashmere and pointed at James.

" Hello kitty cat...." James said and stroked cashmeres white fur.

They spent the rest of the time playing hide and seek and ice and water.

After some play they decided to eat the rest of the sandwiches and juice.

" Wow....these sandwiches would have more net worth than me" James said taking a bit of Lily's sandwich and closing his eyes in bliss.

" That's true" lily said taking a sip of her juice.

" Hey I was joking....do u thing I'm that cheap" James said.

" I certainly do believe taht Mr Black" lily said and for a moment they looked into eachothers eyes and burst out laughing.... unable to stare any longer.

When it was finally time to go home they all went out side the park.

"How are u guys going home angel?" James asked.

" We are walking of course" lily said.

" No way....how can an angel walk wait here...." James said and went to the corner of the street and came back with a beautiful black bicycle.

" Yup....this is our ride....let's get on Ace" James said cheerfully.

Ace jumped in joy and James picked him up and placed him in the basket in front.

Ace was so small that the basket was enough to carry him.

James sat on the in front and lily sat at the back stand.

" Are we all ready to go?" James asked.

" Yes captain!" Both lily and ace said.

James started paddling but was unable to make balance and hence braked.

" Here Mr Jay....not your cup of tea...go sit back" lily said getting off and handing the basket to James who looked stunned.

Lily sat in the front and James on the back stand.

Seeing his scared expression lily rolled her eyes and placed his hands on her waist.

" Hold tight" she said and began paddling expertly.

" Woah....Ur a great rider" James said clearly amazed.

Ace was sitting in the front basket with cashmere in his lap.

" Well obviously since I checked to middle school...." Lily said in a duh tone.

Lily cycled to her home and both she and ace got off.

" Well thank you for the cycle James....it's really beautiful" lily said.

" And even u were beautiful riding it" James said.

" And you should have seen your face...scared like a mice." Lily said and both of them laughed.

" Ok then...see u on Monday Jay...bye," lily called out as she went inside her penthouse.

" Bye bye" James waved.

The rest of the weekend went in a flash with the cleaning of Alexanders and kyras house....lots of cakes and cookies baked and ....lots of games played and lots of chats done.

Finally it was Monday....monster Monday

James point of view

Today was Monday.....unlike other times when James hated Mondays....this time he was eagerly waiting for it in order to see his angel at the office.

He wanted to see angel and hence went to the lake garden on Saturday as it was the park she was most frequent to.

James was still a bit sad as he considered ace to be Lily's son.

" So what if ace is her son....he is such a cute and intelligent boy" James thought.

Though James had seen lily on Saturday.... spending the rest of the weekend without seeing her got into his nerves.

He used to constantly snap out at sirius who knowing his friend too well...used to make a joke out of it....that was Sirius's permanent job.

James got up half and hour before only to get ready for his angel.

He showered nicely and used the shampoo and conditioner that Sirius recommend.

" If this will work Sirius then I'll give you all your shirts that I took and if it doesn't work mate you owe me my 10 bucks back." James told Sirius last night.

" You know you are trading the thing I already own Jamie...I can use my shirts anytime....it's just that I don't know where u hid them" Sirius replied scratching his head.

James wore a beautiful suit and fixed his hair nicely.

" The hell Jamie...why are u up so early...are u a..." Sirius came into his room .... without knocking of course....and stopped abruptly at the sight of him.

" What the bloddy hell.....you are already ready!" Sirius said with wide eyes.... overreacting ofcourse.

" Yes I am...." James replied still looking at his appearance in the mirror.

" Oh I forgot....it's called lily magic that can make the lazy ass James who can sleep three days continuously...wake up at five in the morning!" Sirius said rubbing his eyes.

" Whatever ...I'm leaving then Sirius....make your own breakfast or eat the bananas you bought in bulk....or should I make the dog food?" James said rolling his eyes.

" Umm....James mate....aren't you forgetting anything?" Sirius said awkwardly.

" What can it be?...tie...check...watch...check...hair ..check...blazer ...check... cologne...check....what is it Sirius?" James asked checking everything.

" How about your pants mate" Sirius said.

" Whaaa....oh shit" James said...as he was still in his pajamas.....

He quickly rushed inside and came out 20 seconds later ...fully dressed while Sirius was howling with laughter.

" Have you ever considered entering a dress up contest Jamie?" Sirius said.

" Bye Sirius...." James said ... ignoring sirius....as he wore his shiny black shoes and took his car keys and went out....

He reached his office...the black enterprise at 7 and started all the work.

They day dragged along with the speed of a snail....with James waiting eagerly for 12o clock to come that he can go and see angel.

Finally after two meetings....many files and shouting at 5 employees...it was finally 11:30....

Now he can finally go to see his dear angel.

James winded up his work and went out.

"Have a good day Alan! " James wished a stunned Alan at his boss's sudden sweetness.

James drive to the Evans corporation with 15 minutes to spare.

He decided to buy some flowers for lily...as a mark of their first official meeting.

" For whom are u buying flowers dear?" A kind old lady asked.

"Who is lily to me?....a friend...no she is more than that....a girl... definitely not....who is she to me?" James wondered.

" I'm buying it for someone special" James finally said.

The old lady smiled kindly and said.

" I know just the perfect bouquet for you young man" she said and went into the interior of the shop.

She bought a bouquet of lovely flowers of red lilies and pink roses wrapped elegantly.

"Perfect for her" James thought.

He quickly bought the flowers and went to the evans corporation and was escorted to Lily's room.

At perfect 12 he knocked on her door....his breath hitched when he heard the voice he was carving to hear.

"Come on in" said a pleasant, melodious voice.

He went into the room and was greeted by a smiling lily in the perfect outfit for her.

She was wearing skinny white jeans and a grey top with a dark midnight blue blazer.

Her straight brown hair in a messy bun with half hair down.

" Hey James...right on time man" lily said cheerfully...

James heart skipped a beat when he saw her.

" Hey angel....see I bought u flowers" he said handing the bouquet of flowers to Lily..

" Thanks....they are very pretty" lily said with a smile and a little surprise.

" Actually even I have something for you" lily said .

"What could angel have bought me....I wonder" James thought.

Lily put the flowers on her desk as james sat on the sofas in the office.

Lily came with a little box and handed it to James....and sat down on the sofa in front of him.

James ...excited beyond limits...opened the box to find a small pot with a cactus in it.

" Seriously Jay....were u expecting an engagement ring?" James told himself.

" A cactus...." James said as he raised and examined the little pot.

" Yes ....very fascinating plants they are....unlike other flowers and tress that dry up in the dessert..this one stays up his might and bears the sun. It requires so less water...infact it gives water in desserts.....we should be like it...never depending on anyone but at the same time being useful and doing our jobs ourself for the best results." Lily said looking at the cactus.

" It is a boon to the travellers in the desert...though it is thorny it is very useful....we all should be like it...thorny and strong to protect ourself but helping and beautiful from inside....hence we should never judge someone from their outside...but from their inside" lily said looking directly into James eyes.

" That's true...I'll always keep it with me...thanks a lot angel." James said marvelling at the explanation he just got.

"No one can beat her at this man...she is so different" James thought.

" Come on...lets get to work then." Lily said and they continued their buisness talks.

After a long chat and the introduction of different employees at Lily's company james got to know that lily was not a boss...but a leader.

Instead of giving work to someone....she showed it and helped them to set an example....all the employees treated her like a friend ....more like a family member.

Of course she used to get angry at some things but she never shouted much...her stare was enough ....no one gave her the chance to complain though.

She showed way to the juniors and complimented them and encouraged and motivated them to do more.

The working environment was very pleasant and lily was loved by all.

James was just mystified at the amazing woman he met...and marvelled at her knack and intelligence to have done everything so efficiently.

Lily introduced James to the different heads and james was surprised to see the head of the management department as the same girl that Sirius liked.

And amazingly...she was Lily's best friend... kyra Emily brown.

"Woah Sirius dude...what is happening with us here...u like Lily's bestfriend" James was thinking.

James was so amazed to see that how close lily, Kyra and Alexander were....they were like family....it reminded him of Sirius .

It was 3 in the noon....when lily said to take a break.

" Hey James...let's take a break...I have to go pick up Ace from his preschool" lily said.

" Yeah yeah sure...do you mind if I tag along?" James asked hopefully.

" Yeah sure...but I usually walk or cycle there...do u mind" lily said.

" Not at all" James said.

They left the office building and we're walking towards ace's preschool.

" So how old is ace?" James asked

" Oh he is going to be 4" lily said fondly as they crossed the road.

" You surely have a very cute son" James said with a hint of jealousy in his voice.

" Thanks I kno....wait what...ace ..my son?" Lily said.

" Yes..." James said uncertainly.

" You idiot...he is not my son...he is my brother..." Lily said in a duh tone.

" Though many people consider him as my son due to the age gap" lily said

" Oh really" james said dumbfounded.

After all this time he was getting jealous and was boiling his blood for a 4 year old who was angels brother...just great....he felt like pulling his own hair off.

" I'm seriously dumb...Sirius was right...I need a check up" James thought as they were walking.

They picked up Ace from his preschool...ja es wanted to ask why ace was living with lily and not with his parents but never got a chance.

" Sissy...!!!..James!!" Ace said and ran into Lily's arms who hugged him and kissed his cheek.

" Yeah sissy...can't you say that earlier ace?...it would have let me sleep at night man!" James thought still feeling foolish.

" James you can't get jealous of a kid" James thought when lily kissed ace on his cheek.

" Hello Jay!" Ace said as he hugged James feet and he ruffled the little boys hair.

James then accompanied lily and ace to the company...on the way eating ice cream and talking about different things.... where he bid bye to both of them as now he sadly had to return to his office.

" Bye acee...bye Lily" james said as he put his belongings in his car and waved bye to the pair of them.

He was also looking forward to tell Sirius about everything that happened today.

He reached his office and went to his cabin.

He placed Lily's cactus on his desk and was staring at it when Sirius burst in.

" Yo bro!...how was your day with lils?" Sirius asked.

" Well I have news for you...." James said.

" What....did they find out about self writing pens!!" Sirius squealed with joy.

" Even better...I found out about your girl" James said grinning.

" What!..you mean Kyra!...what did she say ...did you tell anything...I swear James if you..." Sirius started rambling....he only managed to know the name of his girl...he couldn't find the courage to talk before to Kyra.

" Hey calm down drama queen....it's just that she is the bestfriend and type of sister or my angel Lily" James said in a tone which was half happy and half scolding the fate of his life.

" Oh really....when did u see her?" Sirius asked excited that he leaped on the chair.

" Um...she is the management head in Lily's company." James said.

" Wow that's amazing bro...." Sirius said now completely in his dreamland.

" Yeah amazing....u can't even let me like someone alone man" James mumbled.

Hence this was the end of the first day of James at Lily's company.

The next two weeks went the same..James waiting eagerly to meet lily....them discussing work and sometimes some jokes and eachothers lives..

But James noticed that lily always refrained from talking about her past life or parents....James didn't pressurize her....

They used to pick up Ace after work and then James would go back home or to his office.

With the time spent with lily he came to know more and more about her....the more he knew ...the deeper James fell for Lily's amazing personality...lovely attitude...and savage remarks....most importantly...he knew that lily was real and not fake like the others in the world.

"James Black.....you are so totally whipped!" James told himself.

Lily's point of view.

"The last few weeks with James are going very well....he is a good person but I can't make the fault of trusting someone again....there must be a reason I can trust him....but he seems so different...there is a weird feeling about him..." Lily thought.

It was friday....means weekends here...but unfortunately lily had a lot of work.

Alex and Kyra were free for the weekend and they wanted to keep ace with them....they were planning to go to some amusement park during the weekend.

Lily knew they were doing it for her...so that she could complete all her work in office.

Those two had always been supporting...they were the main reason why lily was so successful.

So ace was staying at Alexs house for the weekend. And Alex was more than happy to spend time with Ace...as for ace... excitement was just a word...it seemed like he loved Kyra and Alex more than Lily.

Mother nature was having very less mercy these days...though the mornings were pleasant...in the evening and night it used to rain heavily.

Lily was totally engrossed in work that she didn't notice that James came in the office....by now he had the right to come in without permission.

" Hey...someone's very busy working" James said.

" Yeah don't even get started...it's the budget I need to asses and all..." Lily said not looking up.

Her hair were a little dishealved...and were falling on her face...she brushed them back quickly and started looking for a particular paper in order to finish her work.

" I feel like I can drop dead any sec..." Lily was saying but was cut of by a cup of starbucks coffee in front of her face.

" Oh!...how did you know that I needed coffee like anything" lily asked surprised at James.

" Well....I know that you work hard...and coffee is like complimentary free with work." James said and lily laughed.

This guy really relaxed her.

" By the way...aren't you leaving?" Lily asked James.

" It's a weekend so I'm in no hurry....besides u would be alone so I thought my company would be appreciated." James said.

" Trust me...if I had a option I would kick out that welcome...just kidding" lily said.

James watched lily as she completed her work...both in comfortable silence.

" Come on I'm done...let's leave" lily said.

It was raining heavily outside.

" What about ace?" James asked suddenly.

" Oh Kyra picked him up and he is staying at Alexs for the weekend... apparently the three of them are having a gala time" lily said while she was texting on her phone.

" Lucky boy" James said.

Suddenly James phone started ringing....James picked it up.

" Hello...yes Alan....what!...you got to be serious....man...are u kidding me....what the hell!" James said and hanged up on his phone angrily.

" What happened?" Lily asked concerned.
