Lily's point of view

Suddenly the flow of the rain stopped and Lily felt that someone was looking at her intensely.....she looked up only to see an umbrella being held to her by......

"Mr Black!...what are you doing here?" Lily said shock clearly written over her face.

" You better call me James cause I'm going to call you lily from now on angel." James said with a grin.

Lily noticed that how smooth her name sounded when it rolled out of James tongue.

Lily rolled her eyes and said" fine James or should I say Jay?" Lily said emphasizing on the word 'james'.

" You can call me anything Lily" James said sincerely.

Lily got up and they were under a beautiful blue umbrella....it looked like it reflected the white stars and the blue midnight on them.

Lily was quite wet....her hair were falling in tendrils with water dripping from them.

She combed her hair with her hand and said.

" What are u doing here Mr blac....I mean James?" Lily said.

James heart raced at how elegantly his name was spoken by lily.

" Oh I was just passing when I saw a familiar face dancing in the rain and stopped by to enjoy the show....I must say you are a graceful dancer angel." James said.

"God....one more nickname added to my list..." Lily thought.

Lily turned a bit red when she got to know that James was watching her....her heart was racing as they were quite close.

" Apparently angel...you will not find a cab in this weather so you have three options....first, wait for mother nature to slow down...which I guess won't happen right now... second, wait for a miracle jetpack to arrive and third to let me be your driver and assist you home?" James said.

Lily laughed and said.

" Si....por favour ayudarme ( yes please assist me) " lily said and smiled.

James looked confused and said....

" Is that French or Italian or German??," James asked amazed.

" It's Spanish idiot and it means that you have qualified to be my driver." Lily said with a grin.

James laughed...." God...he has such a strong bold laugh..." Lily thought.

" This way madam" James said in a professional tone.

He assisted lily to his beautiful car and opened the gate for her....both of them still under the beautiful umbrella.

Lily stopped dead on her tracks

" Holy!!...is that the Mercedes AMG GTR with 577 horsepower and 3.5 second acceleration!!!" Lily said dumbstruck at the car.

" Yes the very same....," James said amazed by Lily's knowledge about cars.

" God....I would have bought that but that would be too much for daily use...besides I love my baby..." Lily said referring to her car.

" You have a very pretty umbrella....and I guess I'll spoil your seat then...." Lily said.

" Don't worry about that angel....you are more important" James said and closed the door as lily sat in the seat next to the driver.

James got in the car and started the engine and began driving.

The leather seats got wet a bit but James didn't even seem to care....he was busy stealing glances of Lily.

Lily rolled down the window and was feeling the sound out the rain and was sticking her hand out in the midnight air while there hair flew due to the soft night breeze.

" What are you doing?" James asked.

" Nothing....I just love the rain." Lily said simply....

There was comfortable silence between them....both happy with eachothers company...wanting nothing else.

Lily's thought roamed to her past memories..... memories....they are the only gifts that a person gives you either knowingly or unknowingly....

Memories can tear you up....heal you up...lighten you up...

Lily's thoughts landed on the beautiful memory she had with her parents....they were together....hand in hand....walking towards home after a strool....lily was in between them holding both of their fingers...

All of them were very happy... suddenly the clouds roared and lily...only five at that time...got frightened and hugged her dad's legs....her dad bended to her level and said...

" My daughter will never be scared of anyone....never be scared if you have done nothing wrong....the truth always wins love....be brave" her dad said kindly....her mother smiling.

He hugged Lily and picked her in his arms and they continued home with Lily's mom hugging her dad's arms.

The rain feel silently and all of them were under one big umbrella....

Lily still remembered her father's words....he was an intelligent man and she loved him dearly....his words always helped lily and motivated her during hard times.

Lily sighed as she was looking out of the window.... unknown to her...a drop of year rolled down her eyes....while she was lost in her thoughts....how happy they were...how full she was...but it was all gone now....now she only had Ace and her friends.......no one else....no one to fill her broken heart....to heal it....to heal her....

James point of view.

James was driving the car in his own thoughts.....

Thinking....what was all this happening....

"Everything looks so dark around me....the light I only see is in my angel...." James thought.

" Damn angel even knows Spanish...I Guess I'm not the only one knowing many language...how come I never learnt Spanish" James wondered.

Suddenly he remembered that he didn't know Lily's address.

The turned his face to see Lily's face lit by the little moonlight and the starlight as the rain had now stopped.

He looked at her fair skin being washed by the silver moonlight....her Mysterious eyes shining ....reflecting the stars....

He noticed that how the pearl white year rolled down her cheeks....her face emotionless...but he knew that there was an explosion happening in her mind.

That one tear was enough for James to worry his ass of....

" Why is angel crying!!??...what is worrying her....god who should I kill....just name the person angel....no...those tears have more worth than Sirius himself....I can't let them flow like that...no angel...why are you crying?" James thought.

He stopped the car at the side and put his hand on Lily's shoulder.

She jumped a bit and turned around and quickly wiped her tear.

" Are you fine angel?" James asked with concern flowing in his voice.

" Yes ....yes ofcourse I'm fine...just some thoughts...don't worry" lily said.

" You are always welcome to share your thoughts with me." James said.

Lily just nodded and said thanks.

" You have not told me your address angel...where should I drop you" James said.

Lily chuckled and facepalmed herself.

" Stupid me...sorry...it is 15 B lake garden, Victoria Street." Lily said.

James nodded and said..." I know that place..."

" So that's where my angel lives..." James thought.

He began driving again towards the destination....he was a bit disappointed that lily didn't share her thoughts with him...but he brushed it off.

" So...lily tell me something about yourself" James asked.

" Well...what would you like to know about me??" Lily said.

" Anything you feel comfortable sharing....no tension" james said care fully.

" Oh well....I though u would demand some answers...that's surprising.." lily said.

" Alright....I'm 25 and I'm the CEO of the Evans corporation which I started myself....I have two bestfriends... Alexander Nicholas Stark...the financial head...the one you met today and Kyra Emily brown....she is the management head." Lily said and James listened attentively while driving.

" We have been friends since like forever....more precisely since the beginning of high school....they both live near my house and mostly stay at my house....as they are to lazy to clean up their own..." Lily said and James chuckled.

" Well me and Sirius have been bestfriends since primary school...and we live together and share the house." James said smiling.

" That's cool...Sirius is a funny guy..." Lily said.

" Do you like books Lily?" James asked and lily gasped horrified.

" Is that even a question!" Lily said with wide eyes.

" I'm that kind of person who can do anything for books....I have like five rooms in my house...one for me ,one for ace and the other two for Kyra and Alex....the remaining one is my favourite room....as it is my personal library or home office." Lily said.

James chuckled and said

" even I love books a lot" . He smiled and continued driving.

They reached the destination and James and lily got out of the car.

James didn't bother to open the door for lily as he though of her as his equal.

" You live in a pretty place" James said.

" Thanks a lot for dropping me Jay" lily said and James heart exploded with joy and his stomach had butterflies when lily referred to him by his nickname.

" Though I might add that your driving made me feel that it was the last day of my life." Lily added jokingly.

" Ah well...you were distracting my genius mind" James said ruffling his hair...he had that habit.

Lily chuckled and said...

" I'll see you on Monday then...have a great weekend Jay" lily said...

" Can I have your number so that you can call me when you need a rash driver and I can call you when I need an advisor?" James asked with hope.

" Yes sure...here enter your number in my phone and I'll enter it in yours" lily said.

James overjoyed gave his phone and took Lily's.

He noticed that it had the wallpaper of her, ace , Alexander and a girl he assumed to be Kyra....on a picnic at a green garden....they were laughing and lily was on Alex's back and ace on kyras.

James felt a bit jealous of Alex and hoped that the relationship was only as a friend.

He entered his number and gave the phone back to lily.

" Lovely wallpaper you have there...your mum is really beautiful..." Lily said.

He had a wallpaper with him ,Sirius and his mom....his mom had a tray full of baked cookies and James and Sirius were covered in white flour from head to toe and Sirius was sticking out his tongue on James.

" Hahah...that was the day I learned from Sirius that there was a thing known as shampoo and conditioner in this world...Sirius presented it like....the secret of the shiny Sirius hair finally revealed" James said grinning while lily was laughing so hard that her stomach hurt.

" Well how did you was your hair without shampoo before?" Lily asked.

" I don't know...with water and some soap I guess" James said shrugging as lily laughed.

James saved Lily's number as...my angel Lily...he made sure lily didn't notice it.

Lily saved his number as...Jay the rash driver....and smiled.

" So at what time will you come on Monday?" Lily asked.

" How about 12?....I'll go to my office first then do some work and then come to yours..." James said.

" Yeah that's perfect" lily said and smiled.

" So are you" James said in a non audible voice.

" Did you say something" lily asked.

" No...no..just that...I'll see you on Monday maybe" James said.

" Yeah besides I have to take ace to the park and I have a lot to catch up this weekend" lily sighed.

James began feeling weird at the mention of ace...he wanted to know his relationship with lily...

" Is ace her son??...if not then who is he....how come angel never mentioned her parents" James thought but he knew that it was not wise to ask all that at the first meeting....he wanted to make lily comfortable with him.

Before he could ask anything Lily said bye and just took a step but skipped due to the mud...

James fast reflex caught her in his strong arms.

He looked into those blue green orbs and she looked strikingly back into his hazel eyes.

" God...we must stop ending like that" lily said as she straightened herself .

" Once again thanks for dropping me off James...bye" lily said and started off todpwards her home.

James was standing there looking at the way lily went.

He marveled at the knack of the woman to surprise him...she was so bold ,sassy and different yet so beautiful,soft and pure.

While he was someone with a devil of a past....can an angel and devil be destined for eachother?

Even the devil was once the gods favourite

But it's always true....that whenever an angel and a devil meets....the consequences are not welcoming......

James sighed and got into his car and drove home where he was welcomed by a snoring Sirius with drool on his face...

James smiled and closed his mouth....he changed into his boxers and went to bed....

Lily's point of view.

After James dropped Lily she went straight to her top floor...where her penthouse was...

It was quite late ... around 11....ace must have gone to sleep...

Lily called Kyra...she said she was outside the gate.

The gate opened to reveal Kyra...who was still dressed and had a coffee in her hand.

" Hey girl...welcome home...I was worried about you since it was raining" Kyra said and gave lily a brief side hug.

" Hey....you not sleeping here today Kay?" Lily asked.

" Nah...Alex has already gone to his house as I told his lazy ass to clean it up....I'm going too to my house and I was just finishing some work" Kyra said.

" Ace is already sleeping lils" Kyra added.

" Thank you so much for helping Kay...thanks a lot" lily said.

" Wow...someone has suddenly got manners...I think I'm gonna faint." Kyra said as she rolled her eyes and picked up her bag.

" Well I'm leaving...see you tomorrow... remember we both are coming for breakfast as we know you won't eat anything." Kyra said and left.

" Yeah sure bye" lily said as she waved and closed the door.

She bolted the door and went straight into her room and changed into a a white Addidas loose too and black leggings.

She opened her long hair and tied them in a messy bun.

She went to the kitchen and was thinking what to eat.

" Why do I even bother eating when I don't want to" lily said to herself.

Lily was like a person who used to eat one meal a day....but when she wanted to eat...she could eat the whole town...she just needed a person to eat with....orelse it looked useless to her eating all alone....she never felt hungry that way.

But when she was with Ace or her friends...she used to eat very much....she was never the girl who cared about her weight....she ate whatever we she wanted and she excercised regularly to stay healthy.

But her eating routine was not very good as she barely are two meals a day. She never felt hungry when she was all alone.

She took out an apple and ate it....well it was her favourite fruit.

She brushed her teeth and got ready for bed....usually she preferred sleeping on the sofa but today she went to ace's room and he looked so adorable that she decided to sleep with him.

She lay near him and covered the little man with a blanket and she smoothened his hair and kissed his forehead.

She checked her phone before sleeping and saw that she got a text...

'good night angel....sweet dreams' it was from Jay the rash driver aka James

She replied' now that I have got this text I don't think it will be sweet dreams cause I might have nightmares....just kidding good night'

She sent the message and put the phone on the bedside table and drank a glass of water and lay down to sleep.

She was wondering" I meet so many men each day....I talk to so many everyday....know so many personally....but never have I ever experienced that tingling sensation...that weird but good feeling with anyone.....it's just with James....it never happened with him.....what's all this..."

Her thoughts were cut off as ace moved and his small hand hugged Lily's arm and he snuggled close .

Lily looked at the precious boy with love in her eyes and slept peace fully.... thinking about that one particular man....james black.....

The next morning.

Lily woke up at the sound of her alarm and got up quietly...not wanting to wake ace up....she did some exercise and went to the bathroom to shower.

She got ready and wore a black jeans ,black t-shirt and a light brown leather jacket on top of it....as it was getting cold.

She decided to put hair in a braided pony tail.

She woke up Ace and got him ready in warm clothes as she didn't want him sick.

They were getting ready for their day out...as every Saturday lily would take ace out for some time together.

The door opened to reveal Kyra and Alexander all ready and smiling.

" We are home" they shouted together and ace ran up and gave them each a hug.

" Seriously guys....mind knocking the door sometimes" lily said.

" Why would we knock on the door of our own house lils" Alex said with a cute smile and lily rolled her eyes.

They settled on the table with their breakfast of orange juice, waffles, pancakes and cereal and milk.

Lily was drinking juice when suddenly Alex said.

" I like Alexa a lot and I asked her out" he blutered out.

Lily spat out her juice suddenly and Kyra chocked on her waffle she was eating.

Alex shielded himself with a plate as he expected lily to spit out the juice.

"WHAT!" Both lily and Kyra said.... halfway choking.

" You big git....you are telling us now!" Kyra said angrily.

" Well sorry....I realised it a few days ago too" Alex said in his defence.

" Well what did Alexa reply?" Lily asked.

" She first slapped me to check out of I was in my senses but then said yes....as no one can say no to this handsome face" Alex said as he fixed his hair with one hand.

" Oh please shut up your big mouth" both lily and Kyra said at the same time.

" Are you guys practising to talk in sync....I must say that is very impressive" Alex said.

" God....I pity Alexa....I'm marveled at how she will take up your antics Alex" lily said....she always prevented from using cuss words in front of ace.

Ace was just laughing at their reaction and said.

" Alex got a girl...yay" he said happily.

" Yes little bro even I'm amazed....where is your girl anyway" Alex asked.

" I don't know....maybe she is in a castle waiting for me" ace said cutely.

All three of them laughed and finished with their breakfast.

Alex left to meet Alexa and Kyra left as she had to clean up her house and buy groceries.

Lily offered to help but Kyra refused saying that she must spend time with Ace.

" So acee...now we are going to the park" lily said ticking aces stomach.

Ace giggled and said.

" Sissy lets take cashmere too" ace said.

" Yes of course" lily said and picked up a basket and put cashmere in it with the other supplies and food and held aces hand from the other.

They left the house and started walking towards the lake garden....the park they often visited as it was near to their house.

The park was quite big and had a beautiful lake there....which sometimes used to freeze during winters and lily and Alex and Kyra used to ice skate on it.

It was wonderful living with such closeness with nature....the only reason lily bought the penthouse was that it was open and was near nature...

They went to the park which was normally not much crowded.

They found a clean spot where lily put the sheet and the picnic basket on it....cashmere was playing on the sheet with ace and they simply looked adorable.

Lily took out her phone and clicked a picture of ace and cashmere...she like capturing happy moments.

Lily took out some sandwiches and they were eating it when she saw a poor boy looking towards them....

She took two sandwiches and have it to the boy who looked at her happily and thanked her and went away.

" Sissy why did you give the sandwich to the little boy?" Ace asked.

" Because baby....whenever you can spread happiness...never hesitate to do so." Lily said.

They finished eating and ace started running with a ball....lily chasing him...

Ace threw the ball somewhere while running but unfortunately lost balance and fell down.

Lily ran towards him and knelt to the ground.

" Are you ok baby" lily asked with worry.

" Yes I am ...ace is a brave boy" ace said.

" You sure are..." Lily said but was cut of with a tap on her shoulder....

She turned around to see.....
