:Narrator: while running out of the establishment Rachel started to have flashbacks of fire and her parents while the words freak echoed in her mind a feeling of slight overwhelment led her on top of a rather tall hill it was covered in soft light green grass that was also set ablaze in green flames that spreads throughout the hill. She took her time and sat down looking at her own hands feeling the warmth of the faint pulsing in her fingers Rachel closed her eyes to calm herself a bit more clearing her mind all while she was able to hear everything from pretty much everyone down the city she realized her senses were extremely heightened.

:Rachel: seriously...what the hell is wrong with me ever since that weird flaming star or comet came in contact with my body everything feels different how did my body move like that I was never really a fighter I mean I've practiced here and there but not to the point we're I'm able to take on two guys especially not one who was able to throw fire and what i did back there it just stopped all i did was touch it and...it disappeared it felt like I understood the flame itself.

:Narrator: Rachel sighed for a moment and soon after it started to rain but this wasn't any ordinary rain it was liquid blue fire that dripped down one by one against her body hearing the faint sizzling sounds as the droplets hit the ground she opened her eyes looking up then looked out to the city in all its beauty even the rain here was beautiful how can flames cause destruction and have the capability to burn anything in its path but be so gentle and mesmerizing all at the same time. Rachel placed her hand out as a few droplets of liquid flames dripped onto her hand she touched it and it moved along while she moved her finger. All of a sudden the rain stops dripping like it was frozen in mid air and the man's voice from back at the tavern echoed around as he spoke.

:???: you made quite a big impression back at the tavern I'll say hahaha!!! You have some nice flame control I can tell and I can also tell you haven't grown accustomed to it yet but you really are talented the star was right in choosing you.

:Rachel: who the hell said that and the rain...it's like it's just frozen in the air whoever you are why did you follow me here.

:Narrator: the man continued to laugh broadly until abrupt darkened blue flames mixed with red twisted wildly in front of Rachel as soon the twisted flames settled down a rather tall man stood there in front of her removing his cloak he had short black hair and fiery red crimson eyes his muscles were built like a true warrior would be he opened his mouth as heated steam blew out rachel looked up at him puzzled while slightly in shock.

:???: my name is hellex!! And Im the ruler of this realm it's a pleasure to meet you now I know you must have a lot of questions and can answer them to the best of my ability but what's your name I'd very much like to be acquainted with my future daughter.

:Rachel: future what now!! Hold on I don't even know who you are but if you must know my name...it's Rachel and you're right I do rather have some questions a lot actually like where am I? What's happening to me? You being a Ruler of this realm? and what the hell you meant when you said "my future daughter"

:Hellex: I will answer all your questions Rachel but not here...we can talk about all this just come with me besides everyone is waiting to meet you.

:Rachel: go with you...how do I know this isn't some trap to kidnap me or something shady like that you can't really be asking me to just come with you blindly.

:Hellex: hmm very perceptive you are your sharp and aren't easily fooled I like that but no need to worry I don't plan to harm or kidnap you in anyway I'm only saying if you want answers then come with me besides you don't have anywhere else to go now do you?

:Narrator: Rachel sighed knowing that hellex was indeed right she agreed to come with him and soon he raised his hand as a piller of blazing red crimson flames descended down from the sky striking them both and just as quick both of there bodies were gone all that was was left was the scorched circle that the piller of flames made. Their travel was instantaneous Rachel opened her eyes looking around she looked ahead to see a massive and a prestige mansion as a line of servants waited all male servants on the left and all female servants on the right all shouted at the same time.

:The servants: welcome back master hellex!!!

:Rachel: wow...this place is huge I didn't expect a welcoming like this so besides these people who else lives in this mansion of yours.

:Hellex: not to many people just me my wife and Sarina she is my daughter as well I'm sure both of you will get along just fine...hopefully.

:Narrator: hellex laughed but was a bit nervous this time as they both entered the front door. A tall beautiful woman with long white hair and glowing bright blue eyes wearing a long white dress which seems to have rare little blue gems engraved around her dress she greeted them as soon as she spoke Rachel's heart felt like it was immediately lifted wondering who she was she gave a gentle smile at Rachel it felt warm and some reason nostalgic like how a tender loving mother would smile at her child after they were gone for so long.

:Hellex: Rachel this is my wife marina she was already aware of your arrival as soon as you came here.

:Narrator: without hesitation marina ran towards Rachel leaving a blazing trail of sparkling pink flames instantly embracing rachel in her arms Rachel's eyes widened feeling such a warm hug gave her slight remembrance of her own mother from a long time ago such a distant yet fond memory even though Rachel hated physical contact with others but in this case she did not mind it that much.

:Marina: so you're the lovely child I've been told about my dear wonderful husband I'm so glad to finally meet you I'm sure you have many questions for us but for now please relax I'm sure you had a confusing and hectic day I can tell.

:Rachel: well miss marina you are right about that I've been transported here by a flaming star stripped a corpse of its clothing to wear walked for it seemed like hours and got into a fight with two men were one of them could throw fire at will so yes it's been very...tiring also this is the first time we've met but I'm not overly fond of hugs or touching in the matter.

:Marina: o-oh my! I'm terribly sorry I didn't realize I was just very excited it's a force of habit of mine to show love who comes across my life well if you would like you could wash up and have dinner with us we will discuss and answer your questions there it seems like that would be the most appropriate time until then Rachel dear.

:Narrator: marina smiles at Rachel one last time before stepping away she closed her eyes as light pink flaming butterflies swirled around her body and soon dispersed as she vanished leaving a trail of a few pink flaming butterflies flying around in the opened hallway. Meanwhile Rachel was directed to the bathroom to wash up the running water was heard through the door and a set of fresh clean clothes were placed on the counter for her. After finishing in the shower and placing the clothes that were left for her on Rachel was directed by a servant to the dining area of the home where she sat down seeing plates of food that were already prepared. Sitting across from her was marina and hellex sitting in the main head chair Rachel thought to herself recalling that there was another daughter.

:Rachel: this is a lot of food sadly I won't be able to eat much since I ate a bit at that tavern or as much as I could before it was ruined anyways...um hellex sir you mentioned that you had another daughter Sarina was it? Will she be joining as well?

:Hellex: unfortunately no right now she's on an important mission to bring back some sensitive information on other leaders across the realm indeed I am the ruler which does make me the strongest but there are families similar to my own who are also in power and a constant war between us has been waging for nearly a century for control over this realm I've maintained stability for nearly a century so far when I was put into power by my father but this topic is for a later date you clearly have questions please don't hesitate to ask any of us.

:Rachel: I see...well that answers my first question on you being the ruler of this realm well why me...that flaming star spoke to me and did this to me then sent me here out of anyone it could have chosen why was it me I'm not that special.

:Hellex: everyone is special in their own right Rachel...you clearly are special you see I'm the one who sent out that flaming star in the first place every century the same exact star has been sent out previously by my father and his father's father and so on. There has only been one case of the flaming star choosing its host and you are that one. each time the star is sent out and attempts to bond with a host they either die from the intense heat of their soul being burned or the purity of their heart is tainted with metirialistic value that star only chooses its host to deem there heart, soul, and spirit a worthy candidate in short the damn things picky and it finally has found its host...and that's you naturally it took you back to were it came from and the reason why this has been going on for centuries is because it says one who is chosen by the star will end the war and become the strongest warrior this realm and every other realm out there to be uncorruptible in heart and the mind.

:Rachel: Id be lying if I said all this information doesn't sound interesting because it does but since you are the strongest technically in this realm why couldn't you have ended the war yourself.

:Hellex: another great question I'm liking you even more but it's not as straight forward as you think just because you have the power to destroy doesn't mean you should only with a cause can there be a true solution you see my grandfather had the same idea and it actually made things worse for future leaders down the line violence only breeds more violence and within that violence comes death to the innocent I won't lie back in my day before taking up the mantle of ruler I was very very blood and war thirsty burning and crushing anyone in my way I thought violence was the only way to force to get what you want but then I met my wife marina and let me tell you she is as vicious now as she was before even though she hates the idea of violence and war doesn't mean she wouldn't fight when the time comes i learned that the hard way.

:Marina: dear I don't know what you mean at all don't fill the poor child's head with such negative insights of me. Anyways Rachel dear why don't you tell us about yourself I'd love to know all about my future daughter as much as I can.

:Rachel: and another question why do you keep insisting on me being your daughter that's a bit odd considering we have just met today.

:Hellex: well that's simple!! The star that has fused within your soul is also a part of my families treasurers since you are its host now you are a treasure to us now and will be apart of our family you see we may not be family by blood but we are bonded by the soul...all of us that goes for you too and there is nothing more fulfilling then having love within your soul no matter who bonds with it that's a life lesson for everyone to learn.

:Narrator: Rachel sighed and looked down then looked at her own hands still feeling the warmth coursing through her body she looked up and gazed at both of them.

:Rachel: what you say maybe true true but for me I don't feel such things in my heart or soul I don't feel nor like the thought of love to me it clouds your judgement to think rationally your vision it could be used as a poison killing the soul within ever so slowly until that burning flame in the soul is snuffed out into darkness I...don't have parents well I did but a tragedy happened that involved a fire that ended up killing them both so I've been living on my own going to school the gray mundane routine I lived day in and day out was indeed soul crushing I never had this much excitement this much to see in one day then in my entire life up till now so I thank you for saving my soul from such a darkened tragedy thank you for this star that it chose me and even though I despise the idea of love i suppose giving this family thing a try wouldn't hurt.

:Narrator: Rachel gave a light smile softly touching her chest as blue flames started to flicker around her body the warmth she was feeling gradually increasing while hellex and marina watched her marina couldn't hold in her emotions on hearing her story and started to shed tears they were light pink tears running down her face marina grabbed a napkin to properly clean her face.

:Marina: i-im sorry I didn't mean to cry it's just very touching to hear is all and as a mother I will do everything in my power for you dear you aren't alone...not anymore.

:Hellex: she's right Rachel you aren't alone anymore from here on out you are part of this family I suppose the stars judgment was right into choosing you as its host well for now please eat and rest up.

:Narrator: the night was still young and it was spent with many stories being told and exquisite food until all had their fill Rachel stood up and thanked them both for dinner and was escorted by a maid showing her to her bedroom as night fell Rachel laid in bed replaying the day she experienced over and over until she eventually fell asleep and to a bright tomorrow within the sun.
