:Narrator: once the sun has finally risen Rachel slowly starts to wake up from her long sleep from an eventful and tiring day yesterday. She looked around then looked down at her own hands reassuring herself that this wasn't a dream but very much reality.

:Rachel: so I'm really not dreaming about all of this it's actually happening...everything that happened yesterday well if this is going to be my new life I should make the most of it and learn about everything about this realm, the people, this war that's been going on for at least a century and what are the things I'm capable of and the flames that are now apart of me.

:Narrator: Rachel yawned getting out of bed and walked right to the bathroom to wake herself up a bit more from the long sleep she had she looked at herself in the mirror taking a long hard look at herself her eyes still glowing light blue still not quite used to her new look though. Rachel let the sink water run splashing herself a few times only when she felt her skin sizzle noticing the water she had splashed on her face already had started to evaporate into light steam leaving her face dry as it once was.

:Rachel: damn water just instantly evaporates on my skin pretty quickly I hope that's not a permanent thing I'll have to ask marina or hellex about that.

:Narrator: she sighed and turned the water off not before hearing a faint knock at her door Rachel walked towards it and slowly opened the door seeing one of the maids standing outside. The maid took a long look at Rachel before finally speaking.

:Female maid: good morning Miss Rachel I hope you slept well master hellex requested for you to join him for breakfast and talk about a few important matters with you well if you please do follow me.

:Rachel: oh yes of course and I slept fairly well actually...so I assume you work here how do you feel about hellex and his wife id like to get some insight from someone who's been by them for I assume for a long time.

:Female maid: I've been assisting them in this mansion for nearly 20 years now I can tell you they are good people very strong in many aspects sir hellex with his leadership and miss marina with her wisdom and kindness they both are indeed very much competent rulers even though we serve them they treat all of us with respect. They are even more fierce on the battlefield I can say without a doubt they are the ideal of what strength and leadership is but they aren't perfect sir hellex sometimes slacks off with his duties and miss marina is sometimes too forgiving but that kindness is part of the reason why she's very much respected throughout the realm.

:Rachel: interesting...well if they are going to become my parents naturally id like to know a lot about them thank you for your insight.

:Narrator: once Rachel finally made it to the dining room she immediately smelled all different kinds of food ranging from pancakes and eggs to sausage and waffles after sometimes plates of food were sent out while hellex walked into the dining room seeing as everything was already almost set.

:Hellex: I'm glad you could join me for breakfast all of this food being prepared you'll definitely need it for your training today the star in your soul does need energy just like you if you don't eat your start to feel well let's just say off as long as it's any amounts of sugar going into your body you'll be fine.

:Rachel: starting training this will be interesting but I have a question will water always evaporate on my skin every time I manage to get wet if so that would be unfortunate considering I like the feeling of water.

:Hellex: ahh don't worry that's a sign of your body still slowly adjusting to the star you are or were human so overtime your body will become accustomed to the star in your soul and that's why we need to get you trained controlling your flames and the heat within the body is something you must learn you don't want to accidentally burn anything to ashes as soon as you touch it. But with practice and training your body will do it automatically...fire isn't a tool to mistreat you must respect like you would with nature fire is the element of power and strength prideful but sometimes stubborn but it can also be gentle and an Ally.

:Rachel: I can tell you are extremely experienced I hope to learn a lot from you and anyone else who is willing to teach me.

:Narrator: hellex gave a faint smile upon hearing Rachel's words as they both started to eat once everything was practically gone Rachel followed hellex outside as a pillar of red crimson flames descended down onto both of them both of there bodies disappeared and soon after reappeared now standing in a clear opened field of green flaming grass.

:Rachel: is that some kind of instant teleportation you can do? How far did you take us out here.

:Hellex: hundred miles give or take and you'll be able to do that too and a lot more soon hmm going off what I saw happened at the tavern you already show excellent potential of flame control already not only did you stop that man's flame but you changed it's very self evidently when it's color changed form reddish orange to blue then broke down into particles.

:Rachel: I'm not sure how I did it...it's like I understood it like it was natural to me in a way but now that we're here what are we going to do out here.

:Hellex: that's simple first we are going to have a little sparring session so I can see where you are learning through experience is a great way to start whatever you feel let it flow like it's natural like you did at the tavern. And no need to hold back either even if you don't know what you're doing at first let the feelings of the flame guide your body and soul in battle!!

:Rachel: I will do my best not to disappoint I'm also curious to see how far I'm able to go in this fight.

:Narrator: Rachel closed her eyes feeling the heat inside her body increase as blue flames swirled around her body finally opening her eyes they glowed bright blue while steam raises from her mouth Rachel soon lunged forward leaving a scorching foot print mark on the ground boldly getting up close to hellex and attempted to throw a punch. Once she did  the heated wind pressure between him and her fist cut off any momentum she tried to push her fist forward but the more Rachel did so the harder her fist was repelled against him hellex stood his ground and stomped his foot onto the ground as deep red flames bursts out causing Rachel to slide back far across the field

:Rachel: what was that my blow did even reach him it's like there was some kind of wind barrier that stopped all my momentum the more I pushed the more it pushed back repelling my attack all together.

:Hellex: lesson one!! Not only you can manipulate the heat in your body but your also able to manipulate the heat around you as well including the air around you that's heated up by your flames you have to focus the heated energy from within your body then visualize it going outward then all around you vision yourself twisting that heat to your benefit your flames are only as strong as your will and imagination your power could be limitless if used correctly that's why you need to understand the fundamental of the flame as a whole unchain the simple notion that flames can only burn don't limit yourself.

:Narrator: Rachel slowly stood up and breathed in and out then stomped her onto the ground as blue flames burst around her starting to sparkle she repeated the words hellex had told her to not limit herself unchain the simple thought of flames can only burn suddenly blue flaming daggers formed in both of her hands as she threw them right to hellex Rachel kept her eyes on the daggers until her body vanished leaving a trail of twisted blue flames reappearing to where the daggers were  and attempted to stab into the heated wind barrier pushing forward slowly getting more closer towards hellex Rachel's eyes glowed dark blue as the flaming daggers expanded outward covering the wind barrier that surrounded hellex and soon the barrier started to break down turning into glassy like blue flaming shards chipping down onto the ground. Once the barrier was finally taken down she clenched her fist delivering a blow right to the center of hellex's body which caused heated winds to explode out completely shattering the ground beneath the two. It was in that moment when Rachel realized hellex had caught her fist just in time before landing the blow directly.

:Hellex: well well!! Very impressive dear Rachel well done just in a few moments of me explaining it to you...you managed to take in all that information and deal with the situation on the spot stabbing into the barrier with those flaming daggers you made then changed it's form to its natural state of the flame expanded it and since these are the flames you can control you broke it down similar as to what you did at the tavern. A real prodigy indeed the wits of a warrior thinking and creating a solution on the spot.

:Rachel: w-what can I say...I have a pretty creative imagination I did what you said...just letting the flame flow and guide me.

:Narrator: Rachel would be breathing a little heavy moving like how she did especially for her first time in a fight she was indeed still not used to combat like this soon after catching her breath Rachel slowly pulled her fist back from hellex's hand as blue flames swirled wildly around Rachel's body. she opened and closed her fists a few times the tingling sensation she felt resonated in her body.

:Rachel: I feel a little nauseous for a split second my body vanished and reappeared I'm definitely not used to moving like that I barely knew what I was doing apparently...not only I can form objects with my flames but I can instantly travel to my flames location to were it would be sent too. I assume that's because of the bond I have with the flames within my soul no matter where they go I'll always be there.

:Hellex: as expected traveling that fast your first time will make you naturally feel sick you'll get used to the feeling the more you move at such high speeds but that will be it for today's training I only wanted to assess your capabilities as a beginner and how you manage to think in mid action of ways to get and finish your opponents your battle IQ is indeed impressive for someone who's just learning on how to control there flames properly.

:???: oh yeaahh really impressive a real prodigy just like you said dad hahaha!! What a shame you never praised me like that!!

:Narrator: Rachel's eyes widened a little feeling the atmosphere of the mood change almost immediately hearing another girl's voice she stood up straight. but before Rachel knew it she felt someone's arm rest across her shoulder from behind she would soon look over to the side looking at a girl that looked just like her only difference was she had long white hair and deep glowing purple eyes she gave Rachel a wide smirk showing off her sharpened teeth she held a white/black scythe in her other hand Rachel didn't even feel her presence until she felt this girls arm stretched across her shoulder.

:???: sooo you must be my new baby sister You're quite the looker considering it's like looking in a damn mirror what's up with that. names Sarina the actual blood daughter unlike you I'm not some adopted little kitten what was your name again oh riiight Rachel well considered were "family" now we can share everything together.

:Narrator: Sarina started to laugh while Rachel felt malice in the air then dark blackish purple flames started to swirl around Sarina. Rachel felt her body become slightly heavy the pressure she felt from her made her sweat a little bit on instinct Rachel pushed Sarina back while dusting her clothes off from any dirt.

:Rachel: I'm even surprised that you look like me but please refrain from touching me I'm not really fond of physical contact especially from someone who oozes the scent of malice and death.

:Sarina: oh stop don't flatter me too much!! But you already seem like a damn buzz kill lighten the hell up a little Im not gonna hurt you that wouldn't be very much a sisterly thing to do right anyways dad I retrieved the information that you needed it's in your office.

:Hellex: welcome back Sarina and don't scare Rachel like that it's bad manners and rude but you did your job well so thank you daughter.

:Sarina: yeah yeahh just make sure you give me what I asked for oh and it was nice finally meeting you baby sis let's get to know each other properly next time don't worry I don't bite at least not to the point of killing that is.

:Narrator: Sarina gave Rachel one final smile it was twisted and filled with unpredictableness waving at Rachel her dark purple flames swirled violently around her body sucking up the color and life from once the luscious green flaming grass forming a scorched grayish ring right were her body was as she vanished from within the purple flames.

:Rachel: talk about one hell of an entrance just by her presence I can tell she's very dangerous someone that shouldn't be taken lightly the smell of death was stuck on her too

:Hellex: Sarina is special in some cases sometimes I feel like I'm losing some part of her day by day she was always an odd child but still I hope it doesn't become a problem and you're right about the smell of death on her. She has probably killed thousands of enemies naturally all the killing my wife disapproves of but that child will do what she will in the end.

:Narrator: Rachel sighed then wiped the sweat from her forehead once hellex and Rachel were ready to leave the pillar of red flames bursts down onto each other as there bodies disappeared once the flame pillar vanished immediately sending them back to the mansion.

:Marina: finally you two are back hellex told me before hand he would be training you today I hope he wasn't to rough on you thats a bad habit of his.

:Narrator: marina quickly blitzes towards Rachel leaving a trail of light pink flames behind she softly touches the side of her cheek examining to see if she had any injuries Rachel could feel the intense warmth coming from her just from that small touch Rachel slightly turned her head to the side.

:Marina: oh right sorry about that dear not very fond of touching I just wanted to see if you were alright that's all.

:Rachel: no no it's alright I'm fine thank you for your concern but I was finally able to meet this "big sister" of mine she definitely left an impression.

:Marina: is that right...I hope she didn't do anything to you Sarina is a bit troubled she does mean well just her methods in doing things I don't really approve of as a mother I don't like to see her go down a bad path well please rest up inside id like to speak to my dear husband alone.

:Narrator: Rachel gave a slight nod and walked inside as the two hellex and marina looked at each other marina crossed her arms sighing.

:Marina: so...how did it go with her training I hope you weren't too hard on her.

:Hellex: no don't worry I didn't but she does show skill she's talented and even surprised me in the moment how quickly she grasped the concept of not limiting herself with her flames she could make one fine warrior in the future hahaha!!

:marina: mmm that's great to hear I just hope we can be the parents she probably longed for  maybe some day she'll call me mom what a delight but...sarina and Rachel I'm wishing they could get along hopefully and have a good sister relationship.
