Walking down the tiled halls of Eagles High School, all I thought was dread.

It wasn't as though this was the first time I had walked into a new school, but it never got easier. My parents had to move a lot and the latest place was the American city of Denver. I had only had one friend in my other school in Paris (witch was more then usual) and I missed her already. I sighed, already dreading lunchtime where I would have to be forced to sit alone awkwardly. At least I had brought my favorite book....

My name is Shelly Cas, by the way. I am 17 and I have blue eyes, blonde wavy hair dip dyed blue, dimples and fair skin. I'm a average height and slender, but fit from doing sports. And I'm definitely not like other girls. I love reading, I have not even had my first kiss and my favorite songs are from Disney movies. I generally dress quite plain, and I did the same today, wearing a nice light purple shirt and light jeans. I did put a blue bow in my ponytail though, witch is my idea of dressing up.

Walking on the white tiles, my Converses hardly made a sound. I queitly walked to the office with my head looking at the ground. Nobody noticed my precense and I got to the office without any trouble. Getting my scheduel and locker number and combination code I went back out into the halls feeling more happy and hopeful about the shcool year and this new school.

Little did I know was that this year would forever change my life in ways I never could have imagined...
