I woke up with a headache. My cieling stared back at me as I dreaded my next day at school. Having a sudden burst of positivity I got up hoping today would be better. Hopefully I wouldn't walk into the wrong class or fall for boys who liked skantily clad girls...

Before I left for school I made myself a cup of Earl gray tea to calm my nerves so that I wouldn't have a panic attack at school. I took the bus as my mom was not awake nor dressed enough to take me. When I got to the front gate the large brick covered building loomed over me like a prison. I walked across the school yard only to have my deep thoughts interrupted by a shrill voice, "HEY NEWBIE!!" I turned confused and saw a short girl with short brown hair and an obnoxiously pink shirt. "Oh hey" I said timid. "Haven't seen you here before and I see everyone.... My names Donna Page. What's your name?" I didn't know wether it was her pink shirt or her annoying voice but I didn't want to respond but being taught good manners from my mom I polightly said " My name is Shelly, I started here yesterday." She gave me an amused look and I smiled back at her. I appreciated the company for now but I had a feeling she was a bit strange...

I walked down the hallway with Donna by my side not knowing what to say, she didn't seem to mind it so I decided to keep quiet. On the other end of the hallway the boy with the dark hair stood with his gang of friends, he was looking my way. I turned to Donna "Hey who's he?" I said nodding my head to the end of the hall. "Oh that's Tyler a real bad boy, I'd suggest staying away from him, he gets in a lot of trouble." An emty bottle interrupted our conversation as it hit Donna in the head. Shocked I turned around, she picked up the bottle and threw it in the nearest bin and walked on as if it never happened. "Happens that often?" I asked shyly. "Yeah" she sighed "you get used to it after some time..." We continued walking down the hall as kids stared at us...

The day went better then expected up until 5th period when I had chemistry. Tyler was in my class and I felt uncomfortable with him sitting behind me. "There will be a chemistry practical next week. I will assign you partners for this experiment, and no complaining." The teacher said in a dull voice. As he listed the names I was excited to see who my partner would be. Perhaps this would be the time for me to make a new friend! When he finally got to my name he read out the name I didn't expect to hear paired with mine... "Shelly Cas and Tyler Jones." I turned around as my stomach dropped and I saw Tyler's eyes drill into me as if he wanted to kill me...

I went home at the end of the school day and contemplated what would become of this unlikely pair and how quickly my body would be found after he murdered me...
