Personality: Even though "The Evil Stepsisters" are often spoken about as a pair, the truth is they couldn't be more different. Like most twins, once you get to know them, it's very easy to tell them apart. 

Anastasia grew up in a world of mean girls, where men didn't stick around long and those who did never came to anyone's defense. To be kind and amiable was to be a target for bullies, and abuse that would last a lifetime. Even though Anastasia is a gentle and kind-hearted person by nature, she's had to learn to be tough to survive. Most of the time, she thinks she's failing. Her mother and sister are genuinely the most selfish people she's ever met and they don't care who they hurt in their quest for shallow success. 

Anastasia's father died when she was very young, leaving her in the care of her mother, whose only objective was to find a man who'd take care of her and her girls. This resulted in a succession of stepfathers who never stuck around long. Anastasia doesn't know how much her mother has to do with that, and would rather not know. As the twins grew older, her mother's objective became to marry the girls off to wealthy princes so that she herself would be cared for in her old age. Whenever the girls balked at the necessity of marrying well, their mother would remind them of the father who died and left the three girls with nothing but their wits to keep them from starving. 

Neither of the twins grew into classic beauties who are trophy wife material, and she hates her mother for being so blind she can't see that. She understands she's kind of plain and awkward and doesn't stand out in the world. It doesn't bother her. She'd rather not stand out. While attractive and amiable, Anastasia is just a normal girl. There's nothing that's glamorous about her. The kind of man who'd be attracted to her is quickly scared away by her overbearing, opportunistic family. 

Introverted by nature, she's not particularly lonely. She is a talented artist, arranges flowers, and usually has a song in her heart. She doesn't use people for material gain or put people down to make herself seem better. Anastasia is happy to go to work and earn her own way in the world, though her mother thinks both education and employment are beneath her girls. Anastasia has no doubt that if she got away from her family, she could stand a chance of being happy, and being herself. 

She doesn't need a prince or money or jewels for that. She just needs more courage than she has. 

Anastasia goes along with her sister's bullying and "mean girl" attitude, often accompanying her mother and sister like an obedient lapdog. She puts up with their taunts about her soft-spoken nature, her plain looks and disinterest in clothes and boys, and the happiness she finds creating art. Still, when they leave her alone, she's kind in secret; taking care of animals, sneaking food and clothes to those who need it, and trying to help poor Cinderella get through life in their twisted family. Anastasia doesn't want to be mean or selfish, she just isn't strong enough to stand up to her mother and sister and tell them they are horrible people she's ashamed to know.

Skills/Powers: Anastasia is a talented artist, able to draw or paint anything with ease. She has a knack for making things beautiful, as long as that thing doesn't have to be herself. She can transform a dusty old cottage into a lovely home very naturally. Though Cinderella does all the household work in the Tremaine house, Anastasia is gifted in the kitchen and finds a kind of quiet pleasure in anything that engages her mind and creativity. These skills aren't encouraged, since she's been told they belong to a common homemaker. If she has any powers, she doesn't know about them. In fact, she feels like the most powerless person on the planet.

Cursed Life Information: Anastasia's cursed life isn't very different from her enchanted one. She'd love to get away from her family and do something with her life, perhaps become a chef, an interior designer, or a graphic designer. She doesn't have aspirations for fame or wealth, she just wants a happy and fulfilling life, even if it means living it without her family. She often thinks that one day, she'll have a family of her own that can't be poisoned by evil and fear the way her own childhood was.
