I woke up totally alert.I looked around to see nothing suspicious and no uncle damon smell so I was good.I walked into the bathroom and found a little bit of uncle Damon's smell in here.I found and stopped all of his tricks and walked into his room with 10 bottles of toothpaste in my hand.I walked to his bathroom and emptied his shampoo and conditioner bottle and put toothpaste in there instead.I vampire sped out the room knowing he wouldn't find me because I masked my smell.I walked downstairs and took his bourbon and replaced them with rotten apple juice which I know he hates.I made him a sandwich and put rotten mayo on there.I grabbed the baby oil and walked into his room putting it on the floor making sure to start away from the door and then walked out the door leaving the sandwich on the dresser.I walked back to my room to see Nessie waking up."Morning Nessie."I said laughing quietly."Hey what happened?"She asked."I pranked my uncle Damon.You have to be very cautious today.I don't want you to get hurt."I said and she nodded.She started to walk out the door when I stopped her.I counted down on my fingers.He will be awake in 3-2-"MELODY!"Uncle Damon yelled and I busted out laughing.I heard a oomph and a crash and I started laughing even harder than before.I looked at Nessie and saw that she had a confused look on her face."Baby oil on floor,rotten sandwich,wait for it..."I said."MELODY!"Uncle damon yelled."Toothpaste shampoo and conditioner."I said and Nessie busted out laughing.
We walked downstairs and I saw dad downstairs cooking himself something."Hey dad."I said going into the cabinets and getting some supplies I needed."What are you doing?"I heard Nessie ask and I looked at her."You probably don't want to know."I said.She looked at dad."Is this her first prank war?"She asked."I wished it was."Dad answered and I got from under the cabinet and put all my supplies in a bag."Come on Nessie I need your help."I said grabbing her hand.I went back into our room and I grabbed a bunch of pink and purple shirts in uncle Damon's size and walked back out the door with Nessie walking behind me."Ok here's what you're going to do.Switch his shirts with these because he hates the colors."I instructed and she nodded.Once we were finished we switched his pants with a size too small and ran out the room.We walked downstairs to see that Cameron was only there.Shirtless.Me and Nessie went upstairs and to my room.Uncle Damon's smell was all over the door.
I signaled for Nessie to wait and turned the door knob kicked the door lightly and backed up.I looked around the room to see wires connected from one place to another."Oh uncle damon.When will you ever learn that this will never stop me."I said and grabbed the scissors out my bag.I gave one to Nessie and started cutting the wires.I still felt there was another trap so I looked everywhere and found a pack of bugs in a cage under the bed.I held my nose and grabbed a dishcloth.I put the dishcloth in my hand and grabbed the handle.I threw the cage back in uncle Damon's room and went back into my room to see Nessie was covered in honey and fake spiders."Melody!"She said and I tried to keep my laughter in."Ok you go and get cleaned up in the bathroom.I will try and find anymore traps..."I said my voice trailing off.I grabbed my clipboard from my bag."Melody 5.Uncle damon 0."I muttered adding another point under my name."Wait I thought you-"Nessie was cut off by a man's scream.My uncle Damon's."Never mind."Nessie said walking into the bathroom with a towel and some of my clothes.I walked outside the room and stepped over the trip wire uncle damon put on the floor.I walked downstairs to see that Cameron was in the living room,shirtless and dad was nowhere to be found."Hey have you seen where my dad went?"I asked and he shook his head no."He said he didn't want to be here when your little prank war started."He said and continued on with reading his book.
I sat on the couch next to him and accidentally touched him.I felt a spark go off in my hand and through my body.I put my hand behind my back as he looked at me wearily."You ok?"He asked me.I nodded."Fine.Perfectly...fine."I answered and he nodded and looked back at his book."MELODY YOU ARE SO GROUNDED!"I heard uncle damon day and started laughing under my breath."Got it uncle damon!"I yelled back laughing slightly."What'd you do?"Cameron asked and I motioned for him to come closer.He did and I put my mouth by his ear."Something...devious."I whispered in his ear.I felt him shiver slightly and smirked.I got up from the couch and smiled at him."Gotta go see what I'm grounded for.Bye Cameron."I said smirking slightly then turned and walked away.I could feel his gaze on me as I walked away.
I walked to uncle Damon's room.When I walked in I saw him hanging on the ceiling upside down.He had white blotches in his hair and had green marks on his face."Now this is what I call a cheesy vampire.Uncle Damon I really am shocked.I thought you were better than those movie vampires."I said in a playful tone."You mind telling me how you did this?"He asked and I smiled happily."I can't tell you my secret."I said putting my hands around my back.It was simple really.I put magnetic chips in his foot about a month ago and then I installed a device in his ceiling so small that he would never notice it and then when I say the magnetic fields take him to the ceiling.Easy and simple."Get me down,Melody."He said and I sighed but smiled."You forfit the game?"I asked and he rolled his eyes at me.I took a camera out my pocket and started videotaping him."Never!"He said and I shrugged and turned around."Wait!Wait!"He said and I turned around."I forfit the game!You win melody Stefanie Salvatore."He said and I smiled widely."Good but that is not what I was looking for."I said and he groaned and started hitting his head on the ceiling."What do you want?"He asked and I put on a fake thoughtful face."I want...lets see...ice cream,30 bucks each day,say that I am the best person in the world and...teach me about werewolves."I said thoughtfully.Uncle Damon sighed and nodded.'Let him down'.I thought and he fell on the floor.I dashed for the door but was grabbed and was pulled into a tickling attack.I was laughing uncontrollably and couldn't breath properly."I-I'm sorry uncle Damon.Plea-Please st-stop I-it."I laughed as he kept tickling me.He finally stop and I breathed for air."Ok no more.Just stop.Stop."I wheezed,my breath ragged.He smiled and patted me on the shoulder."No promises."He said and I huffed and walked out his room.
I walked back to my room and saw Nessie coming out the shower."Finally got all that gunk off you?"I asked smiling slightly."Yep.Felt like there was glue in that stuff.Is this game over?"She asked wiping her hair with a towel."Yep and I won."I said grabbing the clipboard from my wall.I added another winning point to my name and put it back on the wall."Well I'm going to take a shower and take me a nap.You can sit on the bed if you want."I said grabbing a towel and walking into the bathroom.I walked into the bathroom and shut the door right before she sat on the bed."MELODY!"I heard her yell and started laughing under my breath.I took a shower and got out.I wrapped a towel around my body and opened the door to the bathroom.
"Hey I..."I heard the voice of Cameron say.We looked up at the same time to see each other.He -both fortunately and unfortunately-had his shirt on.His mouth dropped open and closed like a fish."I-I'm sorry,I just-I just...you-you left this down-downstairs and I wan-want-wanted to give-give this b-back."He stuttered holding a necklace in his hand.It was the one Nessie gave me in her letters."Th-Thanks Cam-Cameron."I said grabbed the necklace from his hand.He just made me so nervous and I don't know why.We both started taking slow steps back our eye contact never breaking.I stepped in the bathroom and shut the door the same time he stepped out my room and shut the door.That was too embarrassing.I put on my nightclothes and got into the bed with Nessie(who fell asleep).I slept on one side and she slept on the other.I got under the covers and fell asleep.
