Chapter 32

DYLAN WILSON

-----------------------------------

I was getting myself ready. I just got out of the shower. When I opened the bathroom door, I stepped out and took a peek on Catherine. She was still sound asleep so it was safe for me to walk around with only my towel covering the lower half of my body. I walked towards the chair which was separated by a curtain so if Catherine was awake, she wouldn't see me in this embarrassing appearance. As I flipped the curtain, there was no sign if my bag. I started to worry. Just where did I put my bag?! I searched high and low of the cabinet but it was nowhere to be found. I peeked behind the curtain and gazed at the bed beside Catherine's bed. What the f -. I covered my mouth. My bag was on top the bed beside Catherine. I can't just walk freely in there like this. That's just so inhumane! But, I had no choice. I just have to do it. I sighed at the possibility that Catherine might wake up at any given moment. Man, I'm gonna be so humiliated if Catherine ever wakes up. I'm gonna be screwed.

CATHERINE MCMILLAN

--------------------------------------

I opened my eyes for I was awaken by the rapid drops of water inside the bathroom. I looked around and Dylan wasn't in the room. I figured that he was taking a shower. What happened last night kept replaying in my head. My cheeks became warm in which I guessed that I thought I blushed. I didn't bother to sit up since I was so tired. But with what happened last night, my body felt like it was energized. I heard the door knob being turned so I immediately hid under my blanket. I took a small peek and I saw Dylan who happened to be only in his towel and I blushed so freaking hard realizing that Dylan Wilson is fucking hot without his clothes on. Omfg. I just had sex with that guy in a towel. Holy shit how could I be so lucky!  I couldn't stop myself from peeking. I sensed that Dylan was about to check up on me so I lowered the blanket on to my chest and I closed my eyes so he would think I was still sleeping. Later, I heard the faint movement of the curtains and the faint creaking sound of the chair. He must be looking for his bag which is on the bed right beside mine. I slightly opened my eyes just enough that I could take a glance at Dylan. I'm so amused, I think I,can't hold my laugh much longer. I saw Dylan peek behind the curtain and looked at his bag. He must be scared to come her since he's only in his towel and he might think I'll wake up anytime soon. Well, this is really amusing. I mentally laughed at the funny thought. Then I saw Dylan carefully and silently tried his best to tip toe towards his bag. He successfully stood in between the bed where his bag was and the bed where I was. He wasn't facing me, but his hot back was. I mean, seriously, he's fucking hot. Hmm.. maybe it wouldn't hurt to tease him a bit. Just when he was about to grab his bag, I lightly poked him from behind. Dylan jumped in shock and his towel fell to the ground. He became so stiff and he did not dare to turn around. I giggled and I heard Dylan sigh.

"Catherine McMillan.", he said my complete name. I laughed at him.

"Nice ass Dylan.", I teased. He knelt down to get the towel and he  immediately wrapped himself. He faced me with a smirk on his face.

"I know. Now that you've seen my perfect ass, it's my turn to see yours.", he teased. I immediately placed my hands on my ass and protected it.

"Only my future husband can touch my ass.", I said.

"Oh? I see. So if I become your husband, I get to touch your ass?", he teased. I pouted at him and looked away.

"Yes.", I replied. Dylan's smirk turned in to a sweet smile.

"Okay. If that's what you want.", he said as he took his bag, winked at me, and walked in to the bathroom. He closed and locked the bathroom door as I just laid in bed wondering if he understood what I meant. Boys. I just can't completely understand them.

DYLAN WILSON

----------------------------------------

Geez. I was really embarrassed as hell. I knew she would wake up anytime. I changed in to my casual loose black v-neck shirt and dark blue jeans. I hung the towel to the side and went out of the bathroom.

"You look nice.", Catherine complimented. I wasn't sure if it was a compliment though after what happened awhile ago.

"Thanks. Are you hungry already? How about I cook something for you?", I asked.

"I want your porridge.", she requested.

"Okay then. I'll cook some porridge for you.", I replied.

"I want to see you cook.", Catherine said as she was struggling to sit up. I went to aid her and I placed her on the wheel chair.

"Fine. You'll be the judge.", I told her. She smiled and nodded. After Catherine had requested before that she wanted to eat my porridge, I requested my mom that she'll let her sister company of kitchenwares deliver me some kitchen tools like a mini stove and such so that I could cook something for Catherine since she doesn't really like hospital food. I took out all the ingredients, which I also had them delivered, and had set up the table.

"Wow, You're really good at this Dylan.", Catherine said.

"Yeah. I took cooking classes back then.", I replied.

"Really? You're awesome.", she said. I can't help but smile at her praising me like that. No one had ever praised me before, well except for my mom and dad who praised me for my grades.

"Well then, start cooking.", Catherine said. I nodded as I started to cook the porridge. It was really simple so I finished cooking early. I turned off the mini stove and I opened the lid of the kitchenware.

"Smells nice.", Catherine said.

"That's good to know.", I replied. I turned the stove off and waited for about three minutes for the porridge to cool down. I scooped some in to a bowl as Catherine went to the table. I brought the porridge to the table and also placed a spoon and a glass of water.

"Thanks for breakfast Dylan.", she said.

"You're welcome Catherine.", I said as I smiled at her and then she began to eat.

"You know Dylan, you've really changed.", Catherine said.

"Really? How?", I asked.

"At first, you were the anti-social, loner, shy type of guy that had trouble socializing with others. But now, you've overcome your old self.", Catherine explained. I pulled a chair and sat beside her.

"It's all because of you. If we hadn't met, I would've been the same old shut-in, anti-social bookworm. Well, except that I'm still a bookworm.", I replied. Catherine gently grabbed my hand and placed it on her cheek as she tilted her head a bit to the left and closed her eyes. I looked at how sweet she looked. But I know behind that sweet smile is a sad and scared girl crying for help. Just then, someone knocked at the door. Catherine and I looked at the door and at each other.

"Could that be the visitor you were talking about?", Catherine asked.

"I wonder. They will come here at ten but it's still eight.", I replied.

"That's probably Jacob or the doctor.", Catherine said. I stood up and went to the door. I slightly opened the door and I saw them.

"Wait, why are you early?", I asked.

"We have a meeting at ten son and we thought we'll visit a bit early. We contacted you but you didn't pick up."

"I was cooking.", I replied.

"Very well. Where is she?"

"She's inside eating breakfast.", I replied. I let them in and the four of us went to Catherine.

"Barbie doll!", Katrina shouted and hugged Catherine. Catherine chuckled and hugged her back.

"Barbie doll, where did your hair go?", Katrina asked.

"Katrina!", I called her attention but Catherine smiled and replied,

"It fell off.". Katrina had a hard time understanding Catherine's answer. Katrina later smiled and jumped in excitement.

"Oh, oh! I have a long pink wig at my room! Do you wanna wear it? I wanna see Barbie doll in pink hair.", Katrina asked. Catherine laughed and patted Katrina's head.

"Sure. I'll wear it the next time we meet.", Catherine replied.

"Next time? Why? Are you going somewhere?", Katrina asked.

"Yeah. Somewhere very far.", Catherine replied. I could sense the change in tone of Catherine's voice so I immediately cleared my throat in a way that everybody could hear me. They all looked at me and I awkwardly smiled.

"Why don't we begin with the introductions?", I asked and Catherine nodded.

"Catherine, these are my parents and you already know Katrina, my little sister.", I introduced her to my family.

"Mom, dad, this is Catherine McMillan.", I introduced my parents to Catherine.

"Pleasure to meet you Mr. and Mrs. Wilson.", Catherine said.

"It's a pleasure to meet you too Catherine.", my dad said.

"How are you feeling dear?", my mom asked Catherine.

"I'm feeling fine Mrs. Wilson.", Catherine replied.

"So you're the girl our son talked about.", my dad said to himself.

"Pardon?", Catherine asked. I think she might have heard my dad! Ugh, keep your voice down dad.

-PAST (awhile ago while Catherine was sleeping, Dylan called his dad: 4:30 in the morning)

"Dad, what time are you coming here?", I asked.

"Probably around ten."

"Dad, can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Can I marry already?", I asked. I heard my dad choke. He's probably drinking coffee.

"What on earth are you talking about son?", he asked in shock.

"You see, I'm really really deeply in love with this girl and she doesn't have time left. Dad, I know this might sound a bit weird or whatever, but I want to marry her."

"And who's this girl you're talking about?"

"I want you to meet her later. That's why I'm letting you come here."

"Okay. But are you really sure about the marraige?", my dad asked.

"Marraige?! Who's getting married to whom?", I heard my mom in the background.

"Dad, I'm serious.", I told him. I heard him tell mom about my plan. They went silent for a moment and then I heard them laugh.

"Dylan, honey.", my mom said. I bet she took the phone from dad.

"Yes, mom?", I asked.

"Are you out of your freaking mind?!", my mom yelled but just then I heard her sigh, "That's what I wanted to really say and that's what I thought. It's still too early. You're still a third year high school student. You'll still go to college and take over the school. But since you are really serious about it and this is the first time you have fallen in love, as your parents, we will support you all the way.", my mom said. This support made me smile.

"Thanks mom. I promise to take over the school and I promise you that you'll be proud of me.", I replied.

"Very well. We know you won't disappoint us.", my mom said as she hung up.

-PRESENT-

"It's nothing my dear.", my mom giggled. My dad really observed Catherine and I could tell that she felt uncomfortable with all dad's staring.

"You're very pretty.", my dad complimented.

"Thank you Mr. Wilson", Catherine replied.

"Very well, it's already nine. We have to go for we have a meeting at ten.", my dad said.

"Thank you for coming Mr. and Mrs. Wilson.", Catherine said.

"You're welcome dear. We had time to spare and we wanted to meet you.", my mom replied. I led them to the door as Catherine continued to eat breakfast.

"Thanks for coming mom, dad.", I said.

"So she's the girl?", my dad asked.

"Yes, she's the one for me. I just know it.", I replied.

"Very well but arranging a wedding won't be as easy as 1,2,3 son. It'll take about 8-9 months in my power and authority.", my dad said.

"But she doesn't have time dad.", I replied.

"We'll do something about it son so don't panic.", my dad said. My mom went near me and said,

"Instead of worrying, wjy don't you spend more time with her everyday? Plan your way of asling her hand in marraige."

"But you see, we're not in a relationship yet.", I said. My mom just smiled at me.

"Oh I know you Dylan Wilson. You may be a chicken at talking to people, but I know you will somehow find a way to talk to them.", my mom replied and both of them exited the room. I sighed and looked at Catherine. She was on her way to the window. I followed her and she noticed me. Both of us faced the window and I stood my her side.

"You know what my wish is?", Catherine asked me.

"What is it?", I asked.

"It's every girl's dream.", Catherine replied. It was all she replied. I didn't have the slightest clue as to what every girl's dream was. Shopping? Clothes? Bags? Sandals? Heck, I really didn't have the slightest clue. But, I'll look into what her answer meant. So that when I'll know, I can do something for her in which I know, can give Catherine the ultimate happiness in life.
