Chapter 31
CATHERINE MCMILLAN
----------------------------------------
If I will lose Dylan when I die, I might as well let him go right now before it's too late. That's what I thought. I probably should let him go. It would hurt twice as much as losing him on the day that I die. At least if I do it now, I would be prepared.
I woke up and it was dim. I looked around and I saw Dylan sitting by the window. Was he looking at something?
"Dylan.", I whispered to myself. I looked at my arms which were really getting skinnier and paler every week. I sat up and turned my head towards the window's direction.
"A full moon.", I whispered. It was really silent. I knew that Dylan was in a state of worry, anxiety, fear, and solitude. I felt so useless. Before, I could just hug him from behind but now, I can't even sit up properly. But I will do it. I silently and slowly got off the bed and I held on to the support on the walls and I sat on the wheel chair. I rolled the wheels and I finally reached behind Dylan. Thank goodness the wires were really long so I could easily move. I hugged Dylan's arm that was hanging which made Dylan startle in surprise.
"Catherine. What are you doing? How did you -", I made him stop talking when I lightly kept pulling his shirt in a downward direction. He looked at me and smiled. Dylan cupped my cheek and pulled me in to a sweet passionate kiss. I can't help it. Tears were starting to flow right down my cheeks as Dylan and I shared such a sparkling tender kiss. How can I be so stupid? Thinking of letting him go? I think I'm madly falling for this guy. I'm falling in love with a geek which I vowed during middle school that I would never love a geek even if it costs my life. But right now, I can't help but fall in love with this handsome geek right in front of me. I pulled slightly away where our foreheads were against each other and the tips of our noses were touching each other. I smiled at Dylan and he smiled back.
"I love you Catherine.", Dylan whispered. My heart just skipped a beat. There were butterflies in my stomach and it was beautiful like those fireworks that sparkle in the wide night sky. How I wish it could go on like this forever.
"I love you too Dylan.", I whispered. Dylan chuckled and replied,
"I've been waiting to hear that from you.". It was a night I could never forget. These exchanging of I love you's, passionate kisses, warm hugs, and gentle love we both share is so overwhelming. Dylan pecked my lips and chuckled.
"I love you much more Catherine.", Dylan replied. We kissed again. Dylan carried me back to my bed and he sat beside me. He kissed me so dearly from my lips down to my neck. I felt sparks in his kisses. It's a sensation I have never felt before. Dylan stopped and looked at me.
"I should probably stop.", Dylan said as he slowly pulled away.
"Please, don't.", I spoke.
"But you're weak Catherine. I might hurt you.", Dylan said. I hugged him gently and slowly.
"No you won't because you love me.", I replied.
"Will this really be okay? I'm not even sure myself.", Dylan said. I kissed him and I pulled away.
"Yes.", I simply replied to him with a smile. Dylan smiled back at me and we kissed again. The night was so long whenever Dylan was by my side. It's like time slows down every minute he was with me. What once was a friendly feeling has turned in to something surreal, an unexpected, sweet, and pleasant emotion I could almost not contain because of this happiness I am feeling. Is this what you call Love? Is this how Love feels like? Because it feels so good. I love it. My body felt so weak in his arms and he was in me. I didn't know being one with someone you really love can be so amazing and wonderful. I now realize how much I love Dylan. He's my everything. The night grew deeper and the air felt colder yet my body felt so warm. Dylan laid beside me and I leaned my back against the wall. Dylan was sound asleep on my lap as I patted his head gently back and forth. Dylan woke up and sat up.
"Sorry I kind of slept on you.", Dylan apologized.
"It's okay Dylan. I understand that you're tired.", I replied. He went closer to me and whispered.
"I'm happy you are the first girl I got to experience it with.". This made me startle and gasp. I felt my cheeks warm itself like I was blushing. I looked down in embarrassment.
"Was it... okay?", I asked. Dylan smiled and said,
"It was the best experience of my life."

DYLAN WILSON
-------------------------------------
I've never felt so good in my entire life. Catherine was so good yet amazing. Her body felt so fragile and weak. I was being gentle to her so she wouldn't get hurt. Doing something extraordinary inside a hospital room might sound weird but hey, it doesn't seem so weird at all when you're doing it with someone you love. I didn't do it with Catherine because of lust but because of love. I never saw Catherine in a lewd way. I wanted my first time experience to be with a girl I love so much and I knew right then that it was Catherine.
"Are you feeling okay?", I asked Catherine as I got off the bed and tucked her in her blanket.
"I'm feeling okay. I'm sleepy though.", she replied.
"It's already past two in the morning. Let's sleep. Some people will visit you later.", I told her.
"Really? Who?", she asked. I bent down and kissed her. I pulled away and she looked at me.
"It's a surprise.", I told her. She chuckled like a little kid.
"Okay. Well, I'll have my beauty sleep now. Good night Dylan.", she said as she closed her eyes.
"Good night Catherine.", I whispered in her ear and kissed her again. Geez, Catherine's so kissable. I can't help but kiss her all the time.
