Dakota walked into the room with her eyes widened. She kept her head down while her mind was going crazy. "Let me know where you are," A.L.I.E spoke out, looking over the shoulder of the distraught brunette. Dakota glanced over at her while putting a finger to her temple. She shook her head and focused on the conversation that Sinclair was having.
"EMPs don't affect our bodies," Sinclair assured her, "But I don't know the mechanics of how this chip integrates with her brain."
Despite the situation, Bellamy had faith in Raven. "This was Raven's plan. She wouldn't do it if it was gonna destroy her brain."
"Dakota, I can't help you if you don't let me know where you are."
Octavia, who had been listening in from the other side of the curtain slipped into the room, and stood by Dakota who was looking down at the ground with her fists clenched together and her eyes tightly closed. "Depends how bad she wanted it out."
"I've never encountered this before," A.L.I.E's voice was distant but it managed to echo from deep within her mind. "I can't control her mind fully."
Dakota tightly closed her eyes when Octavia's hand planted itself on her shoulder. "Dakota?" She turned her head towards her. Dakota opened her eyes to find Octavia's green ones staring back at her.
Dakota looked around, her hands still shaking by her sides. She blinked a couple times when she didn't see the lady in the red dress. "I-" She shook her head and tucked her hair behind her ears. "I guess it's either she lives like this," Dakota said through a shaky breath, pointing over towards the room where Raven was. "Or we go through with this risky plan."
"Regardless, without an electromagnet this is just talk," Sinclair told them, his eyes staring over at Dakota.
Dakota blinked at the pounding that begun in her head, beating like a drum. "Okay.. where do we get one?"
There was a beat of silence between them all before Sinclair gave them the answer that gave up all the hope that they had. "The Ark." He responded, a grim look on his face, " Every station had a pulsed inductive thruster for maneuvering."
"Arkadia is out of the question," Bellamy was quick to shut down the idea. "It's too dangerous. You heard them."
"We use the Dropship," Monty supplied a helpful alternative, "It had a P.I. thrusters just like the Ark."
"That's good." Sinclair praised him, "Okay. I'll go salvage a magnet." Sinclair said, but Monty stopped him. "You should stay with Raven and figure out how this thing works. I'll take the Rover, be back by the time you finish the device."
"I'll go with you," Octavia offered. Monty nodded and the two began to walk out. Bellamy stepped forward, obviously going to start an argument about her going. "Don't." She glared at him, cutting him off before he could open his mouth.
"Guys!" Jasper called out in panic. Everyone quickly rushed into the room with Raven. Dakota's eyes widened at the sight of the blood and she almost gagged when she saw her shoulder was out of it's socket. She was biting at her wrists, blood pouring out from them.
"Stop her!" Clarke ordered, running to Raven's side as Dakota and Bellamy ran to the other side. "She reopened her wounds," Clarke said while Dakota began to try to stop the bleeding. "She's going to bleed to death," Dakota warned her, all of the blood spilling everywhere.
All of a sudden, Dakota crashed onto the ground beside Jasper with a groan. "Dakota!" Bellamy yelled after her, about to move to get to her side.
"Bellamy... d-don't." Dakota yelled out through gritted teeth while her nose began to drip out a black substance. Dakota's hand came to wipe at her nose, looking at her hand with wonder.
"One less hand," She could hear A.L.I.E in the back of her mind, her toxic words echoing. "Convulse." A.L.I.E Looked down at the brunette as Dakota began to shake uncontrollably, blood pooling out from her mouth and her nose.
"What the hell is going on!" Dakota could hear Clarke's panicked words as she shook and her eyes went up into her skull.
"Alie. Alie! I know you can hear us," Jasper said, his eyes wide. "Why are you doing this to her? Let her go."
Raven's posture suddenly straightened up and she turned her head to Jasper. Her accent began strap with every syllable pronounced carefully. "I'll let her go when you give me what i want." She turned her head to Clarke, "the technology that Clarke carries, it belongs to me."
Clarke's lip curled up into an angry sneer. "No way."
"Clarke, just give it to her," Jasper demanded, wanting Raven freed from A.L.I.E's control. "Clarke!"
The blonde didn't respond, obviously thinking up some other way to get A.L.I.E to leave Raven alone. "If you let Raven die, you'll never get it," Clarke threatened and it worked when Raven looked in front of her and stopped struggling.
"Untie her wrists. Hold her steady," Clarke ordered as she grabbed ahold of Raven's arm, readying to push it back into place. Raven stared at her unnervingly the entire time, letting out a quite grunt. Clarke managed to fix Raven's dislocated shoulder and she stepped back to walk over to Dakota who was laying on the floor.
She pressed her two fingers to her jugular and felt for a pulse. "She's breathing," Clarke breathed out. "I don't understand." Clarke grabbed a cloth and started to clean the blood from her face. "She just passed out, that doesn't just happen.."
Jasper shook his head. "She was acting weird since she left to talk to Raven."
"She's one of us now," Raven's voice echoed throughout the room, startling everyone.
The room fell silent as Clarke looked over at Bellamy. "She took the chip." Clarke breathed out.
"Clarke. she's never gonna stop trying to get away," Bellamy sighed, tiredly, "We can't let her hurt herself again. Someone has to stay with her."
Clarke nodded, fully agreeing with him. "I'll take first watch. We'll take turns." She turned to look back at Dakota who was starting to come back.

Dakota's head stirred with unmanageable pain. Her eyes opened to find Bellamy sitting across in a chair, and Raven still tied up. Dakota was just about to stand up before she noticed her hands were tied together with rope.
"Are you serious?" Dakota's voice startled Bellamy, and his eyes glanced over at her with a stern expression.
"They don't trust you," Raven smiled over at Dakota.
"A.L.I.E can't control me!" Dakota looked over at Bellamy, his lips going into a fine line.
"How do we know that? That could just be A.L.I.E tricking us." Bellamy responded.
"There's no pain in the city of light, and I have a fucking headache. Besides, if she was controlling me, don't you think I would of told her our location by now?" Dakota snapped over at Bellamy. He chewed on his bottom lip, in a way she was right.
"Would you look at that," Raven looked over at her. "You're actually telling the truth for once. Looks like your one of the lucky ones, huh?" Raven stared over at her as Dakota began to untie the ropes with her hand.
"You're tying skills suck anyways," Dakota looked over at Bellamy as she rose from the ground. "Weren't you going to tell me about my blood?" She asked as she leaned over the bed post, waiting for Raven to answer her question.
Raven grinned at her, but her attention was turned over towards Bellamy. "Just us three, huh?" Bellamy looked over at her, "We've had our fun together, haven't we?" Bellamy nodded, a glare on his face and then Raven looked over at Dakota, a wicked smirk on her lips. "You remember that, don't you Dakota?"
Dakota's eyes casted downwards, "You know, Dakota, you say Bellamy's the big Grounder Slayer but I think you seem to forget that you've killed probably more people than he has. You killed your own mother-" Raven stopped herself and looked over at Bellamy. "Has she told you about dear 'ol William?" She asked Bellamy. Raven's wicked smile disgusted Dakota, she was so amused by this situation. "You still have the marks on your back to remember how disgusting you really-"
"Shut up!" Dakota's head snapped towards her.
"You're just like John Murphy. A complete psychopath, no wonder you were so perfect with him." Dakota felt like a wave of bricks had just hit her walls, and collapsed over her. She had never heard that name in a long time. "He left you like Bellamy left you..." Raven snorted upon realization. "Everyone leaves you."
"Shut up!" Dakota screamed out. "You know nothing about me, Alie!" Bellamy rose from his chair and grabbed onto her shoulder, but Dakota only pushed him away.
"You want to know why I won't accept you?" Raven wasn't Raven anymore, her voice was more sharp and lady-like. "Do you want to know why you're a night blood?"
"I haven't seen anything like you before," Raven was speaking, but there was also the matter of A.L.I.E trailing in circles in front of Dakota, her eyes eyeing her up with curiosity. "Your blood. It's unique, passed on from generations when my version two made the first night blood serum."
Bellamy turned his eyes from Dakota who was staring at the wall, but in reality he knew that she was looking at Alie. He looked over at Raven who stared back at him with a grin.
"One person got a dose that wasn't chemically engineered right, which altered their blood to react to exposure to the air."
"When I got cut from Lincoln's knife.." Dakota looked down at her feet, "My blood was exposed."
"Correct," A.L.I.E looked pleased with her. "Your blood slowly started to turn black from the exposure. The collapse at TONDC, your blood was only half of the night blood serum. The more the chip is in you, the more i'm starting to understand why it's not working.. You're truly a work of art."
"Was it not designed for my blood?"
"It was, but not the acidic alignment. Your blood is eating away the chip as we speak and it's only after so much time before I completely lose you, Dakota."
"You'll never get my brain or my fighting abilities." Dakota sneered at her and turned her back towards her and faced Raven who was looking back at her.
"So Bellamy. I do have one question. Does it bother you that you don't get any credit for the genocide at Mount Weather?"
Dakota immediately rolled her eyes, of course Raven would bring this up. Bellamy looked away from her, pretending not to listen. "Clarke gets to be the Commander of Death, and Dakota: The Shadow Warrior, But you murdered all those people, too, and you're just forgotten. Then again, you didn't get any credit for the culling on the Ark, either. How many people suffocated when you threw away my radio?" He glanced at Raven before looking at Dakota who was just staring at her with fire in her eyes.
"You know, at least Clarke was saving her own people. You were just saving your own ass. Of course, that's nothing compared to killing your own mom." Both of their gazes snapped back to Raven. Bellamy swallowed and shifted around in his seat, visibly uncomfortable, while Dakota glared heatedly at Raven for bringing up the topic of his mother. "You just had to take little sister to her first dance. You might as well just shoved Aurora out of the airlock yourself. Do you think she'd be proud of you now for the kind of leader you've become, or would she see the truth like the rest of us do, that you're a follower?"
"God, will you just stop?" Dakota had enough of this constant bickering and trying to get in eachother's skin. Alie had went too far with this one, talking about Mount Weather was one thing, but bringing a family member into the topic was another and she wouldn't allow that.
Dakota's outburst caught Raven's attention immediately and she shifted her focus onto Dakota with a twisted smile. "Even when you're not together, you still want to protect him."
"Protecting people is what I do."
Raven's eyebrows rose and she returned her gaze towards Bellamy, "How does it feel, Bell? She loves you, but she likes another,"
'What are you talking about?" Dakota approached her bed, narrowing her eyes down at her.
"How can you compete with a Azgeda warrior? The King, might I add." Raven started, her gaze flickering over to Bellamy's hurt expression. "You don't. You can't."
"Stop, Alie. You got it all wrong. Your little game here is not working." Dakota leaned in even closer to Raven's face. Raven stared back into Dakota's cold brown eyes, and she returned to her cold expressionless face. "You're no fun," Dakota rolled her eyes and pushed off the bed, sitting herself next to Bellamy.
Dakota's eyes wondered over Alie's frame as she walked around the room. "Let's go back to Bellamy, shall we?" Raven looked over at Alie who stared back with a pleased look on her face. "You know, Clarke's only been back for one day and you're already taking orders. The good little knight by his Queen's side. Too bad you were never that devoted to Gina."
Dakota looked over at Raven, and the look on her face gave Raven a new motive, she never knew who Gina was to Bellamy.
"You don't know what you're talking about," Bellamy growled, not wanting to talk about this subject any further. Dakota looked down at her hands, and noticed that Bellamy had his in a clenched fist, whoever this person was.. she had something special with him.
"Don't worry, Gina was already dead when Mount Weather blew up, and you avenged her, right?" Dakota looked over at Bellamy with curious eyes. "I mean, you picked up a gun and slaughtered an army that was sent to protect us, that had nothing to do with blowing sweet Gina to bits, but hey, Grounder's is a Grounder, right?"
"My father, you--" Niylah entered the room, rushing over to Bellamy and Dakota, who both stood as soon as they noticed her.
"Niylah--"
"You killed him," Niylah raised her fist and punched Bellamy in the face.
"Niylah, Niylah, you can't be in here," Clarke rushed up to her, grabbing onto her arm and tried to pull her out of the room.
"It's too late. Raven already seen her. A.L.I.E knows we're here," Jasper sighed as Raven grinned smugly.
Bellamy took his jacket and stormed off. A short while later, Monty and Octavia returned. They all met back in Raven's room, waiting for Sinclair to set up the device. "All we have to do is connect her and activate the electromagnet," He explained.
"Their design is good." A.L.I.E. observed the device and looked over at Raven.
"Of course the design is good, don't underestimate us." Dakota sneered over at A.L.I.E. which caught Sinclair's eyes.
"Who is she talking too?"
"Hold her arm still!" Sinclair yelled out when Raven began to struggle.
"Alie." Dakota answered for everyone.
"They won't be able to get here before they disconnect you."
"Hold it still!"
"Raven!"
"Alie won't be able to get here if you disconnect her right now! Hurry up!" Dakota yelled and grabbed ahold of Raven's wrist.
Suddenly, Raven began smashing her head against the headboard harshly, confusing everyone for a moment, before it dawned on Bellamy and what she was trying to do. "She's trying to kill herself," Bellamy warned the others, running around the back of the bed.
"Why would you take the chip after everything that you have witnessed today!" Sinclair yelled over the commotion.
"It's okay. My blood isn't compatable with the chip's design. She can't control me."
Octavia tried holding Raven's head against the bed frame but it didn't work. So Bellamy slipped his hand behind her head in an attempt to soften the blow while everyone worked to keep her still and connect her to the device.
"Stop," Clarke demanded, holding up the flame and causing everyone to become silent. "and i'll give you this." Bellamy took the distraction and quickly snapped the bracelet around Raven's wrist.
"No. You lied! You lied!" Raven screamed. "No. No. Please don't. The EMP will give me brain damage. You know it will. Please don't do this," she begged them, mainly Sinclair.
"Don't listen to her."
"Please. You know it will. Sinclair, stop! Sinclair, no."
"We've only got one shot at this. The EMP will fry the wristband, too," Sinclair announced and he pressed the button but nothing happened.
"The battery isn't strong enough, there's no power," He said in a defeated tone. "So get one that is," Clarke said, frustrated.
"The Rover," Monty and Bellamy quickly went out to get the battery.
"Here they come. This is our chance." Sinclair said as Monty and Bellamy ran back into the room with the battery. Sinclair plugged it in and slammed down on the button. There was a zapping sound, as Raven let out a blood curdling scream. Her whole body went limp, and her eyes closed.
Dakota walked over, pushing past Clarke in panic for her bestfriend. She put her two fingers on her neck, feeling for a pulse as tears escaped her eyes. "She's breathing." She breathed a sigh of relief and faced everyone.
"Rae? Come on, Raven," Dakota tried, shaking her body to wake her up. Clarke and Octavia tried to wake her up as well, but she wouldn't budge. Jasper suddenly grabbed the chip, along with a crowbar.
"No! Give it back!" Clarke cried, trying to shove Jasper out of the way. "Alie did that to Raven. She's never gonna get this!" Jasper said, enraged.
"Don't! Stop! It's Lexa!" Clarke screeched, making Jasper freeze. "Part of her is still in there. I saw them cut it out of her head. I'm not--"
"What is it?" Bellamy asked.
"Both the A.I.'s were made by the same person. Both tap into human consciousness. They must work similarly, right?" She questioned.
"There's probably only one pathway to consciousness, so it's possible, yeah." Sinclair agreed.
Octavia failed to see the relevance to their situation. "What does this have to do with anything?"
"I've seen an A.I. get removed before," Clarke explained, offering them some kind of hope of saving Raven. "Help me get her on her side."
"Okay," Octavia nodded, grabbing Raven. "1, 2, 3." The girls lifted Raven onto her side.
"Get that med kit from my bag." She was handed the med kit, which she pulled out a small knife from and made an incision on Raven's neck, allowing the blood to pour out. "This has to work." Eventually, something silver starting coming out, making relief rush through Clarke. She was right.
"What is that?" Bellamy asked. Everyone was a little grossed out by it.
"It must be whatever's left of the chip," Sinclair said in realization. Raven's body started jolting as she coughed, regaining consciousness.
Dakota gasped and ran over towards her friend. "Rae."
"Ow," Raven murmured but smiled up at Dakota, happy to see her friend again.
"Get her up," Sinclair said quietly.
"Never thought I'd be so happy to see someone in pain," Octavia grinned, making Raven laugh, albeit painfully so.
"I could've saved my mom," Monty mumbled, turning around to walk away from Raven's bed.
Jasper approached him. "Hey," He gently touched his friends shoulder.
"Get the hell away from me!" Monty snapped as he pushed Jasper away and ran out of the room.
"A.L.I.E. knows we're here," Bellamy said, taking the attention off of Jasper and Monty. "We've got to move." He walked out after Monty with the battery, going to get the rover ready.
"And what about Dakota? She's chipped-" Sinclair caught everyone's attention and Dakota was quick to cut off his words. "She can't tap into my mind. She can't see what I can, not fully."
Sinclair nodded at her and grabbed Raven, carrying her out in a blanket. Dakota stopped in front of Niylah. "I'm sorry for everything," The Grounder Woman didn't reply, just stared. "And thank you for allowing us to use your home." Niylah nodded at the young girl and offered her a small smile, but said nothing. Dakota managed to smile at her and began walking over towards the Rover.
"There's one thing I don't understand," Clarke said to Raven, "Why did A.L.I.E. want you to kill yourself?"
Raven looked at the ground, shrugging casually. "Because I know why she wants the second A.I.."
"Why?" Bellamy asked.
"It's the only thing that can stop her."
"Then let's stop her," Octavia said, appearing from behind Bellamy. "We survive together." Everyone looked at her and then at each other, nodding determinedly.
"And with me at your side, we will know what Alie wants to do next." Dakota replied, making Raven smile at her. "Come on," Dakota gestured towards the Rover. "I call shotgun," Dakota said with a smirk, making Octavia groan out in reply.
