______________

One by one they had walked in to the entrance of the cave, grave expressions on their faces. Bellamy watched them all come in, his hands chained together. He noticed that they were two people missing. One being Lincoln and the other being Dakota. Bellamy's eyes widened and he tried to get to his feet, his chains lightly pulling him back and keeping him against the wall.

"Where's Lincoln, and Dakota?"

"Pike put a bullet in his brain." Octavia's voice shook and came out strained. Her back was facing towards Bellamy, and her fists clenched up at her sides. "And for Dakota, last time we saw her.. she was going into the forest with Pike chasing after her." She informed him while setting her stuff on the rock and taking her jacket off.

Bellamy's eyes had immediately widened, he couldn't believe that Lincoln was really dead. His eyes glanced upon Dakota's father who just stared at the ground with a frown on his face. Bellamy knew he was worried for Dakota, and where she could possibly be.

"O. O, I'm so sorry." But even he knew that his pleads weren't enough for her. They wouldn't comfort her, they wouldn't bring Lincoln back.

Suddenly, Octavia let out a snarl and spun around, yelling loudly as she swung her fist straight into Bellamy's jaw. The impact made Bellamy stumble back, his fingers grazing the stony texture of the wall. Octavia screamed again, letting all of the pain she was feeling into her swinging fists. Everyone in the cave became alert, immediately closing on the siblings to stop the fight.

"Octavia, that's enough." Kane stepped forward, but Bellamy had put up a hand to stop him.

"Kane, stay out of this." Bellamy's voice cracked as he spoke, readying himself for more of her rage filled punches. With each hit, the force increased, making Bellamy fall backwards until he was forced against the wall. His face was full of oozing blood and Octavia stood over him with nothing but pain and hatred in her eyes.

"You're dead to me."

_________

Dakota flicked the reigns of her horse while dodging bullets from behind her. Her horse sped through the thick forests outside of Arcadia as tears fell from her eyes and landed on her cheeks. She was choked up, trying to blink the tears away that were blurring her vision; making her unable to see the path ahead. She heard bullets speeding past her and stopped once she was behind the treeline.

She felt her left shoulder start pulsing, and she reached her right hand to wipe the blood from the bullet wound that hit her. "Shit," She cursed while feeling two entry holes. Her head whipped around to look at the mess she had caused, one Rover came out of the gate and started to head straight in the way they had seen her disappear.

Come on, Hades." Dakota said in a weak voice as she groaned, her pain increasing and was not ignorable once her adrenaline had died down. She flicked the reigns again once the engine of the Rover could be heard in the distance. She cut through the forest, going through the trees in a diagonal fashion instead of straight.

Once she reached the cave she knew Octavia and the others were in, she didn't bother to hop off her horse, she road it into the cave, scaring the others and making Octavia draw her sword the minute she came into view.

Dakota looked at them and opened her mouth to speak but didn't get the chance too when she completely fell off her horse and hit the ground. Her eyes fluttered closed and she let out a pained gasp when her shoulder took most of the fall.

"She's been hit," Octavia rushed over to her friend's side and grabbed onto her uninjured shoulder and made her lean into her. "She's loosing a lot of blood." Octavia's fury filled eyes glanced over at Bellamy, knowing that he was the cause of all of this. "We need to get these bullet's out." She informed the others while putting her own hand against the entry wound; putting pressure onto it.

Dakota's weak fingers grabbed the knife from her belt and tossed it towards Miller. "Toss it.." Her voice was hoarse and she blinked a few times. "the fire." She looked up into Octavia's eyes. "Take it out."

Octavia looked down at her friend and nodded while tears were falling into her eyes. "I've already lost Lincoln. I can't loose you too."

Dakota managed to smile. "I tried-" Octavia sat her friend up into a sitting position which made Dakota groan.

"I know you did. I saw." Octavia carefully removed the girl's jacket, seeing the black smudges. "What is this?" Octavia's eyes widened as her blood was not a regular color, it was black.

"Nightblood." Bellamy spoke making Octavia glare over at him.

Octavia pulled out a single bullet from the wound, making Dakota hiss out when Octavia's finger shook, making the tweezers hit the tender flesh.

Dakota's father came back in from inspecting the outside. "The Grounder blockade is too close to Pike to risk looking for us."

"Yeah, but are we safe from the blockade?"

"As long as we stay on this side of the line, we should be."

Miller brought over the knife, which was now glowing a bright orange. Dakota let Octavia grab it and she widened her eyes. "Are you-"

"God damit O. Do I have to hold your hand too?" Dakota hissed and Octavia mumbled something and placed the heated blade on her skin, making the flesh burn together and sizzle.

"Jesus, Dakota." Bryan looked over at the girl who was biting down on her lip, making her blood drip down from her lip. "You're crazy."

Dakota smirked weakly. "Nah, just Grounder." She sat up and looked over at Bellamy who was covered in blood. He was busy wiping his face with his jacket. Dakota turned around with an eyebrow raised over at Octavia while she grabbed a cloth from Kane's bag.

"Clean your face up." She tossed it over to Bellamy without even looking in his direction. Bellamy could clean his own god damn face, she had more things to worry about.

"If we take Pike out, The twelve clans will lift the blockade," Harper said and Dakota looked over at the blonde, nodding.

"Harper's right. We'll become the 13th clan again. Those were the terms."

"Lexa's terms," Sinclair commented, "If Bellamy says is true and she's dead."

"She's what?" Dakota spun around to face Sinclair. "Did no one bother to tell me this?"

"We were planning on it," Sinclair said. "How will we know if the next commander will honour Lexa's terms?"

"Lexa trusted me, and besides the new commander forgot to slay one more nightblood." Dakota told him. "I could stroll right into Polis and kill the commander and become the next commander if I wanted too." Everyone's eyes looked over at Dakota.

"What about Clarke?" Miller turned his eyes away from Dakota. "With Lexa gone, she's not safe in Polis."

"Clarke made her choice," Octavia snapped. "The only thing that matters now is killing Pike."

"Octavia's right. Once we resume our place in the commander's coalition, Clarke will be safe, so how do we do it?"

"Walk straight into Polis and ask?" Harper said.

Dakota let out a tiny snort at the reckless plan. "You do realize that this new Commander isn't Lexa, right? What if the new Commander doesn't want Skaikru in the coalition, and they want them to answer for his crimes." Dakota fired back while pointing back at Bellamy. "We can't just walk into Polis anymore. This isn't Lexa we're talking about." Her voice was some-what soft, but strained from the increasing pulsing coming from her left shoulder.

Marcus placed his hand on her right shoulder. "But we can't let our people die without trying to save them." Dakota met her father's eyes and seeing the burning passion within them. He really wanted to make this work, and make peace with the twelve clans.

Dakota nodded. "Okay, we need to come up with a plan. Something that's better than strolling into Polis and ending up like a flat pancake on their roads."

"Bellamy, come in," They all jumped at the sound of Monty's muffled voice coming in from the radio. "It's Monty. I'm in trouble. Please say you still have your radio."

Dakota didn't hesitate to pick up the radio and pull it up to her lips, ready to answer it but Sinclair put a hand on her arm. "If we respond and Pike's listening-"

"Go to channel 7," Bellamy instructed, "'Pleas say you still have your radio.' That's seven words after the word 'trouble.' It's code. Go to 7."

"Bellamy, are you there?" Monty's panicked voice sounded once again, making Dakota's eyes narrow over at Bellamy, distrust in her eyes.

Dakota licked her lips and spoke. "Monty.. It's Dakota."

"I'm not sure it's a good idea," Sinclair muttered to her.

"I'll take down Pike myself after what he did to me,"

"You're injured, Dakota." Her father pointed out.

"Injuries don't stop a warrior, it just slows them down." Dakota looked over at her father. "I'll keep swinging until my arm gets cut off." Kane blinked a few times and gave her an approving nod, to go ahead and talk to Monty.

"Monty, What's going on?"

"Pike knows that I helped you get out," Monty informed her.

Dakota sighed and gave her a pleading look. "We need to save him." She told him. There was a beat of silence before her father nodded. "Ask him if he can get to the drop ship."

"Can you get to the drop ship?"

"I think so." He replied.

"Perfect," She breathed. "Go there. We will come and meet you. And Monty? Stay off the radio, okay?"

"Hold on," Harper said. "What id it's a trap and Pike's waiting?"

"That's why I'm going alone." Dakota replied, hissing a she stood up and grabbed her sword.

"No you're not. Not in your condition." Marcus walked over to his daughter and stopped her hand. "Stay here, and help guard the cave."

"They don't need me to help guard the cave. What you need is someone who can kick ass, and I can certainly do that. I'm coming."

"I'm with Dakota," Miller said while standing up.

"No you're not. If it's a trap, I'm not marching our entire insurgency into it," Kane argued.

"To stop me, you're gonna have to kill me," Octavia said, putting her jacket on.

"She hopes it's a trap." Bellamy commented.

"He's coming too," Octavia shot back, "We'll need a hostage to trade for Monty."

"It's a good plan, he stays chained. Gag him," Kane agreed.

"Sir," Miller was hesitant about going through the plan. It was clear to everyone, that he thought the plan of taking Bellamy was a bit too much. "With all due respect-"

"Nate," Dakota said softly, "We still have to consider him the enemy." Dakota pointed out while looking back at Bellamy, who looked away from her, pain and guilt washing over his face.

"Do what I said," Marcus demanded, making Miller sigh but do what he was told.

_____

Dakota walked into the sight of the drop ship. The spot that started everything. She breathed in the familiarity of her previous home, and found herself mentally smiling at all of the memories. Octavia stood on the right of Kane, her sword up and ready. While Dakota stood on his left.

Bellamy was placed in front of Kane who was tied and gagged. Kane held his gun up and pushed Bellamy forward. "Monty?" Kane called out, looking for any sign of the boy. "We got here first."

"No we didn't." Octavia said as she saw the curtain move slightly. She grabbed ahold of Bellamy and placed her sword against his neck.

"Hey, what are you doing?"

"Get outside, now!" The youngest Blake yelled. Monty timidly came out from behind the curtain but Dakota didn't believe that the boy was alone, not for a second. Her thoughts were answered when she saw the gun sticking out of the red curtain, aiming straight for Dakota's head.

"They followed me. I'm sorry," Monty apologized.

"Let him go, Pike." Dakota said loudly, holding her sword up.

"Can't do that." Pike replied, and a moment later, a gunshot hit the ground near their feet, making all of them jump. "It's over. Put down your weapons."

"Shoot him," Octavia hissed.

"Monty's in the shot."

"Come on, Marcus," Pike said. The guns in the distance shot again. "I promised Monty's mother that I'd bring him home alive. Don't make me a liar," Pike taunted them.

Kane took his gun and put in on the floor, putting his hands up in surrender. "Kane, no."

"Now, you two," Pike instructed the girls. Octavia swung her sword around so that it was across Bellamy's throat.

"What are you doing?" Kane whispered over at Octavia.

"One in the girl's leg," Pike said into his radio. Bellamy quickly yanked her hand away from his neck, kicking Octavia's knee. He held tightly to her wrist, twisting it. Octavia let out a yelp and her sword dropped from her hand. Dakota quickly reached for Octavia sword and duel wielded two swords. She spun them around in her hands, but her left shoulder made it more difficult to keep her sword up.

"Give me the boy, and I won't slice your ally's head off." Dakota sneered.

Pike whistled which made guards around them come out of hiding. "You kill one of my men, and I wont hesitate to shoot you in the head." Pike warned while aiming his gun at her head. One of Pike's shooters shot next to her feet, making her jump slightly. Bellamy came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her neck, cutting off her air supply while Octavia was handcuffed.

Bellamy's grip tightened when Dakota tried to fight him off and Pike walked over, tasering her in the leg. Dakota's feet caved as handcuffs secured her hands together. Her eyes shot up angrily at Bellamy as he gently put her on her knees.

"You don't look so good." Pike looked at Bellamy's beaten and dishevelled appearance.

"I'm fine,"

"You got about five seconds to make me believe you're still with me."

"All the others are in a cave not far from here."

Octavia lost it at his confession. She yanked her hands away from the guards that were tying her up and launched herself at Bellamy. "You son of a bitch!" She screeched, but a guard hit her with his Taser, making her fall down into the soil before she could reach her brother.

"Give me the coordinates," Pike ordered.

"I don't have the coordinates, but i can take you there," Bellamy offered.

"Gag them, and let's go." Pike ordered his men, "Keep her ungagged, if we run into any Grounders, she will be useful," Pike told his men, but Bellamy stuck his hand out.

"I have her," Dakota's eyes shot towards Bellamy as he walked over to her and yanked her up by her left arm. Dakota sneered at the pain that shot up through her body at her shoulder's sudden movement.

____

Dakota grabbed her arm away from Bellamy's grip as they walked through the forest. Bellamy was leading the group, with Pike following behind them. Dakota didn't recognize the way they were going, and it certainty wasn't the way to the cave. For the sixth time, Dakota had yanked her arm from Bellamy's grip, which made him growl and yank her back into him.

"Hey, would you rather one of them handle you?" Bellamy spat.

Dakota's eyes didn't even look at him, but she did know that he had some what of a truth in his words. Most likely, all of Pike's men hated her, since she was one of the Grounders.

"Just trust me on this, okay?" Bellamy's lips touched her ear and she shivered slightly.

"I'll never trust you." Dakota's voice sneered. "Grounder Slayer." Her last words made Bellamy turn away and his lips turn into a frown.

"You sure about the route?" Pike asked, catching up to the pair. "We're getting close to the blockade line."

"That's why Kane set up out here. He didn't think we'd risk it." Bellamy told Pike.

"He was wrong."

"What's going to happen to my sister?" Octavia's ears perked up and her eyes glanced upon her brother. "I know she has to answer for her crimes, but-"

"Tell you what." Pike looked over at Bellamy. "I'll make you the same promise I made to Monty's mother, immunity from all past actions, but if she screws up again--"

"Oh, she won't. I'll make sure of it. My sister, my responsibility."

The group walked for a few minutes until they reached a hill and they were about to go down it until Pike made everyone stop. "Hold on."

"The cave is just on the other side," Bellamy assured him, beginning to climb down the hill. Bellamy turned around, holding out his hand for Dakota to take while she snorted and walked past him, slapping his hand away with her joined hands.

"Keep a sharp eye out," Pike's sharply instructed his crew.

Suddenly, a horn began to blare. "The blockade! Anyone got eyes?" Pike yelled. Bellamy grabbed Pike's gun and aimed it at Pike. "Drop your weapon."

"What the hell are you doing?" Pike shouted, not believing that Bellamy had just turned on him.

"Drop your weapon!" Dakota and Octavia caught onto Bellamy's plan quickly and Dakota spun round, kicking the feet from under one of Pike's guards.

"We bring you Chancellor Pike of the Sky People." He looked over to his sister and Dakota. "Dakota, O. Translate."

Dakota spoke up first since she didn't have a gag restricting her voice. "We bring you Chancellor Pike of the Sky People." Dakota shouted, making sure that the Grounders could hear her.

"You killed us all!" Pike accused Bellamy, who still had a gun pointed at him.

"You killed them all." Dakota shot back.

"Take him. Lift this blockade."

"Take him, Lift this blockade." Octavia translated. Arrows were suddenly fired at Pike's followers, and all Grounders began to come out of hiding, surrounding them. Octavia grabbed one of the knifes and aimed at Pike, letting out a grunt before slashing it towards him but Kane stopped her just in time.

"Hey! No, no. The Grounders are going to need him alive. They didn't get justice for Finn. We won't get away with that again."

"In that case.." Pike went for Bellamy but an arrow lodged itself into his shoulder, and a Grounder came running, kicking him to the ground. Bellamy lowered his gun, grabbing a knife from another guard and cutting Dakota's bounds for her.

"Where are you taking him?" Marcus inquired the Grounder.

"To the new Commander," He replied.

"May I join you?" Marcus pushed his sleeve up and showed him the scarring. "We're the 13th clan."

"Don't slow us down."

"Hey, wait!" Dakota ran towards the Grounder, who spun on his heel and the rest of the Grounders pointed their weapons at the running female. Dakota raised her hands. "Dakota of the Sky People, second of King Roan. Is he okay?"

The Grounder's eyes traveled down her frame for a second. "He's fine. He talks highly of you."

Dakota managing to crack a small smile and Bellamy looked over at her. She turned towards her father when the Grounder started walking. "Be careful, alright?"

"I will." Kane told her and pulled her into a hug. "Go home and tell our people what happened here. I'll look out for Clarke, so let Abby know that, okay?"

She nodded against his shoulder. "Stay safe." Marcus pulled away from her as Dakota turned around and walked over to Octavia. Marcus approached Bellamy. "Did you do this for your sister and Dakota, or did you do this because it was the right thing to do?"

"You're welcome." Bellamy avoided the question, but Marcus grabbed on his arm and pulled him back.

"It matters. Until you see that, you'll still be lost." Marcus turned away and walked after the Grounders.
