It had been about a breem since the date.

Sunburst wanted to have another date with whomever U.M. is, but she didn't know if she would get to meet him at school. She knew that he would probably try and avoid her until their next date, but that just wasn't going to work with her. As much as her being a socialist she was determined to meet who he was during their school life.

Ultra Magnus wanted nothing more than to keep his distance from whomever S.b. was no matter what. It would make things weird between them outside of their dating(in his opinion).

~last class of the cycle on Thursday~

"Good evening class." The art teacher said

"Good evening, Mrs. Turman." The entire class said in sync

"Today you all will be getting assigned a partner to create a piece of art. It can be through music, paintings, drawings, sculptures, mechanisms, or even that of the art of theater." Mrs. Turman said walking around the classroom, "For those of you who want to work alone. It will NOT be an option. The reason being is because I want you all to get to know the art side of whomever I have put you with. This will tell me what you and your partner are like with that of art."

One student decided to raise their servo.

"Yes, Mr. Terrell?"

"What if one partner doesn't agree with the other on what they want to do for the assignment?"

"Then I will choose for you." Mrs. Turman said, "Now. I have already said yesterday that most of you will have your partners assigned to you. The rest of you will come upfront until I have given you your partner."

Twelve students got up from their seats and went to the front of the class.

"I will now give you twelve your partners." Mrs. Turman said grabbing her datapad, "Now before I do so, I will need the rest of the class project they are choosing."

While Mrs. Turman was getting the rest of the class's project wrote down on the datapad, Sunburst noticed a mech she wasn't familiar with.

"You do know that staring is quite rude." The mech whispered to her

"I was just trying to figure out a faceplate to a designation is all." Sunburst whispered back

"Well, it would seem you both are getting along just fine." Mrs. Turman said writing the last project on her datapad for Blaster and Navyblaze

"Why do you say that, Mrs. Turman?" Sunburst asked tilting her helm

"The reason being is I decided that you two would do great for each other."

"Why would it be great for us both?"

"One needs to express more about how they feel, while the other needs to express the tranquility of who they really are." Mrs. Turman said, "Prowl?"

"Yes, Ma'am?" Prowl asked from leaning against the wall

"You will be working with Jazz." Mrs. Turman said, "I expecting great things from you both."

"Of course, Mrs. Turman." Prowl said

"Ratchet. You will be partnered with Annathesia. Bulkhead. You will be partnered with Brittany. Ironhide. You and Theresa. Finally, Amanda, you will be working with Wheeljack." Mrs. Turman said, "Now that everybot else is partnered together I will expect at least one of you to decide what project you both will be doing by tomorrow morning before school starts. Am I understood?"

"Yes, Ma'am." Everybot said in sync

"Good. Now those who have already decided what their project is going to be. I want you all to make a list and an idea of what you require and what the entire project is going to be."

"Mrs. Turman?"

"Yes, Navyblaze?"

"How long do we have to complete our projects?"

"You all will have until the end of the school year."

"Why is that?"

"Since it is your senior year, I want you all to get used to working as a team so you will be prepared for something similar in the future." Mrs. Turman said, "Not only that but these will be presented on senior recognition day to both the entire school AND your families."

"What?!" The entire class yelled, "How is that fair?!"

"If you all are done shouting I will continue." Mrs.Turman said, "Good. Since these will be presented, I will review your progress every single Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until the end of the year. I want each of your projects to be very etiquette, with sophistication and loving passion."

"Mrs. Turman? Why are you checking over our project progress three times a breem?" Anna asked nervously

"That way I know that you all are working together on your project, and I know that it will be closer to being complete the further in the stellarcycle we are." Mrs. Turman said, "I will now let you all get to know your partner, and discuss what you both will be doing for your project."

As everybot that already had their partner since Yesterday decided to talk about what they were going to do. While the rest of the class got to know a little about their partner. Some of them already knew what their partner was like. That was except for Sunburst.

Sunburst gathered enough courage to get up from her seat and make her way over to the mech she spoke one sentence to earlier.

"Hi, I'm Sunburst. I'm the femme you told earlier that staring is rude." Sunburst said then thought, 'Great introduction for the second time speaking to him.'

"It's a pleasure to meet you Sunburst. I do apologize if my tone was rather harsh. It was never my intention." The mech said

"It happens. I never expected Mrs. Turman to put me with somebot I don't know. I never did get your designation." Sunburst said smiling and putting her servo out for him to shake

"My designation is Ultra Magnus." Ultra Magnus said taking her servo and shaking it

'I feel as though I have met her/him somewhere, but from where?' They both thought for a brief moment

"So... What do you think we should do for our project?" Sunburst asked

"I was thinking of recreating a model of Psyche." Ultra Magnus suggested

"Psyche? As in the femme who helps our souls return to the Well of AllSparks?"

"That is correct."

"Are we going to make a giant painting of her, or are we going to make a giant statue of her? If we're going to make a statue then we need to figure out what we're going to make it out of."

"I say that we should do both."

"Both? Why both?"

"The painting would give a challenge, but not as much as making the statue."

"I- You- How-?"

"How are we supposed to do both when we are actually are to pick one, is what you are going to ask."

"Yes."

"We work on one of the projects here at school, but we work on the other at one of our places."

"I think your place might be better to work on it than at my place with me having four sisters."

"Very well. My place for our second project is after school Monday through Thursday. Unless one of us can't make it, then we let them know."

"Of course."

"Which do you think we should work on here at school?"

"The statue because I don't feel like figuring out how to get it from where you live to the school when the time comes."

"I don't blame you."

"Okay. We will choose the statue as our School Project and the painting as our Secret Project."

Just as Sunburst finished her sentence the bell rang for students to be dismissed.

"I guess I'll see you around then?" Sunburst asked grabbing her bag

"Why don't we tell Mrs. Turman what we have decided to do for our project, and we will go over to my place so we can start working on our Secret Project?"

"Ok... Just let me tell my sisters where I'm going, while you tell Mrs. Turman what we both decided. I'll meet you out front."

"Very well. I will meet you outside."

As Ultra Magnus went to speak with Mrs. Turman about their project. Sunburst went to catch up with her sisters to tell them that she would be home later this evening.

"Why are you going to be home later this evening exactly?" Amanda asked suspiciously

"I'm going to be working with Ultra Magnus so we have a helm start on our project." Sunburst said

When Theresa heard her sister say Ultra Magnus; She spit her drink out and choked.

"Are you okay, Theresa?" Anna asked

"You usually don't have problems swallowing." Brittany said rubbing circles on her backstruts

"I'm fine. I just bit my glossa is all." Theresa said lying

"I just met the mech, and he's my art partner. All that we're doing will be working on our project and working on our character. Nothing more. Nothing less." Sunburst said

"Just remember that you have another one of your blind dates tomorrow." Amanda said walking away

Sunburst noticed that Amanda was walking towards the parking lot towards a mech she swore was Wheeljack. She then saw her sister get into the vehicle with him, and drive off.

"Guess that's the last we see of Amanda until tomorrow. I'll see you femmes tomorrow." Prowl said using her crutches to walk to Jazz's car

When Prowl left so did the rest of the group. All except for Sunburst and Theresa.

"Why aren't you leaving yet?" Sunburst asked her little sister sitting on the front stairs of the school

"Ironhide's truck won't start. He's been trying every chance he gets throughout the cycle to get it to work. I even offered to help the first few times, but he refused to have any help." Theresa said sitting down as well

"I bet he hasn't bothered to check if the battery just needs a quick jump." A voice said behind the two sisters

"Ultra Magnus? How would you know what's wrong?" Sunburst asked turning around

"My Sire had the same problem with his truck last breem." Ultra Magnus said offering his servo to her then said, "He tried everything. He tried unhooking all the hoses and reattaching them. After a joor or two, he finally gave up and asked for my help."

Sunburst took his servo and she was lifted up. Sunburst then helped her sister up off the ground as well. After Theresa was standing the three decided to walk towards where Ironhide and his truck were.

"So you're telling us that it's most likely a dead battery that's the problem." Theresa asked

"Sometimes the simplest of things are the last to be noticed." Ultra Magnus stated

"Those are vastly acute words." Sunburst stated

The three then heard grumbling from under a black truck that was jacked.

"Ironhide? You wanna come out from under your truck?" Theresa asked crouched infront of the truck

"I can't believe my truck won't start." Ironhide said coming out from under his truck, "I have tried everything."

"Not everything, 'hide." Sunburst stated

"What's that supposed to mean?" Ironhide asked dejacking his truck

"Two words." Theresa said

"Dead battery." Sunburst said

"I just checked the battery last breem. It had enough juice in it." Ironhide said getting agitated

"Well apparently not." Theresa said

"If you'll open your hood, I'll jump your truck with mine." Ultra Magnus said

As the two mechs open the hoods to their trucks, Theresa grabbed Ironhide's jumper cables from the took box.

After Theresa had given Ironhide the jumper cables, he had given Ultra Magnus one side to connect to his battery.

"You can now connect your end of the jumper cables to your battery." Ultra Magnus said

"Alright." Ironhide said

After about 15 kliks Ultra Magnus told Ironhide to try and start his truck. Ironhide tried about three times before his truck finally started.

"Thanks for helping, Ultra Magnus." Ironhide said, "I'd offer to shake servos, but I got grease and everything on them."

"Your welcome, and do not worry about it." Ultra Magnus said, "Use a couple of these to get the grease off. You know what? Have a couple packs just in case for the future."

"Thanks. Best to give the packs to Theresa, while I clean up." Ironhide said

"Your welcome." Ultra Magnus said then turned to Sunburst, "I would say we get started on our helm start with our project, Sunburst."

"Of course." Sunburst said walking towards the passenger side

"I'll see you when you get home." Theresa said

"I'll see you later." Sunburst said
